The accommodation at Astrid is exactly as described. The connection to the city center is good. The garden shed is very cozy with the cozy fireplace, even in colder seasons. Astrid was always at our side with advice and action. Any time!

Super cute little house in the garden, right by the water. All quiet and peaceful neighborhood of Zaandam, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Great hosts Astrid and Chantal were always there to help when needed. Centrally located for easy and quick transfer by bus or train to Amsterdam and to highway for exploring the rest of Holland. Will definitely book again on our next trip!!!

Cozy space, very clean, comfy bed & sofa, nice bathroom and we loved coming home to the little fire in the stove. Despite spending most our time in Amsterdam, the trip there & back from the cabin each day was definitely worth it, we really enjoyed our stay.

We have spent the week-end and everything has been great. Before coming Astrid helped us a lot and gave us all the infos needed. She Always replied straight away. The place is cosy and cute. We had a nice time. Thank you Astrid :)

Atmospheric garden shed and nice hostess, totally good

We love this little garden house and the town literally smelled like chocolate! We love that there were nice smelling flowers and delicious waffle biscuits. The loft was an amazing little area to relax and the bed was so comfortable! We were happy to find extra blankets along with extra towels. The directions on how to get to and from Amsterdam Centraal and the garden house were very clear and overall we had an amazing time.

It was really nice and we felt very welcome. There was even a bouquet of fresh spring flowers on the table. The house was very clean and is comfortably furnished. I also found it surprisingly spacious :)

The place is exactly as described. Nice, cozy and in en excelllent location. Inez and Dennis are really nice, provided a lot of information, very caring. You can use bikes and it´s very close to the station, where you can reach Amsterdam Centrall in exactly 17 minutes. Definetly a good place to stay.

We were so happy with everything about this place. We wanted to VISIT Amsterdam without STAYING in Amsterdam, and this is the place to do it. Dennis and Inez really know what they’re doing and they’ve thought of everything and the whole stay was effortless. Pro-tip: take the bikes out for a ride right before sunrise over the river and through the old town by the molen.

I really enjoyed staying at Dennis' space and would definitely stay there again, as Dennis was very helpful and attentive. I recommend the accommodation, in addition to the city being beautiful.

The house of inez and dennis is even better than in the photos, their hospitality is incredible and they were always awaiting our arrival, it is a perfect place to rest and take care of all the details so that the stay in your house is as comfortable as possible, It is easy to get to Amsterdam by train, with the advantage that you sleep outside the hustle and bustle. They lend you bicycles, which is an excellent detail, in short, super recommended, of course I would stay with them again

Our stay at Inez & Dennis' house has been very good. The house is super nice and cozy. Very close to Amsterdam. They left us their bikes, so the train station is super fast as well. Definitely recommended!

Johnson was the perfect host, always very reactive and kind, once we had any questions. Once we’ve arrived, he gave us a tour through the apartment, as well as tips what to do and where to eat. We had a wonderful time in his apartment and in Alkmaar. The apartment was exactly as described and shown on the pictures and even better! Also the apartment was provided with an iPad that not only handled the lights, but also provided a personally written caption with all details of the apartment and also tips for Alkmaar itself, which was very helpful and convenient. The location of the apartment was just perfect, directly in the city center, but still a calm area on the the canals. We will come back for sure!

We arrived early to Alkmaar and although we could not check in Johnson allowed us to drop off our luggage and then recommended a restaurant close by. Once we were allowed to obtain the key to the apartment Johnson provided recommendations to assist during our stay. We enjoyed our stay at his apartment especially the views from the bay window. The use of the iPad to operate the lights, play (music) Jazz as well as order delivery when needed. Johnson is a great host and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our time. This is a great area outside of Amsterdam with lot's to see and do. Everything is within walking distance, grocery stores, restaurants and great cafe's thank you Johnson for making our Mother /Son (Catherine & Corey) vacation memorable.

Great stay. This place is amazing. Stylish apartment and a very charming and quiet dutch town. We already miss it all. Johnson welcomed us and was very polite and comfortable with the things in control. The apartment appeared clean and newly refurbished with warmth in the floor and other fine details. The bed was also very good. All in all, highly recommendable. When we come back to Amsterdam, this is the place to stay.

Such a great experience in Bettina’s boat! Bettina and Theo are really nice and thoughtful; we arrived late at night and they rode bikes to pick us, that’s really warm hearted!! The houseboat is romantic and unique; we can see the river flows from the window. All beddings and towels are super clean and smells good. Bettina had prepared food and drinks for us as well~ Bettina kindly and patiently introduced the houseboat, travel tips, and provided bikes for us, that really smoothed our trip. Felt so lucky that I have chosen Bettina’s houseboat in Netherlands. RECOMMEND for sure!!

We loved our stay on Bettina's houseboat. We stayed for a week and thought the houseboat was cosy and comfortable {very important when you're staying on a boat in January}. Bettina and her husband left us lots of goodies as well as all the essentials and they checked on us from time to time to make sure everything was ok. The boat is in a quiet setting and it was lovely looking out onto the river. We used the bikes to ride around Alkmaar and even out into the country. We thought Alkmaar was most interesting and we loved the cafes, shops, and especially the museum. Top marks and thank you so much Bettina.

Awesome place to stay.....warm, cosy with do many loving touches. We arrived to be greeted by Bettina who showed us how to work everything. The boat was already warm with the radio on. Bettina had supplied fresh eggs and the fridge had necessities for breakfast along with crisps and wine. There was plenty of English tv channels and the local spar was very close. We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This boat was gnarly, I loved it. I'm 6'2 so it was a little cozy, but still comfortable. I've gotta say that with the rain on the roof, I slept better than I have in awhile. Location-wise, it was really convenient. A 1/2 mile scenic walk down the canal and you're right into the old town of Alkmaar with a bunch of great restaurants, shopping, and sights to see. There's also a McDonalds right down the road for when it's 1:00am and you realize you're hungry lol. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious and very comfortable apartment that can accommodate a large family. The kitchen is functional (beware, no oven so plan to eat something either in the microwave or in the oven). 2 spacious bathrooms with shower and heated floor (pleasant comfort in winter) Good bedding The location of the apartment is very convenient: - train station for Amsterdam very close so no need to take the car to get to town (free parking in the courtyard of the apartment) - supermarket 5 min away - visit of Zaans Schans at 5 min by foot (TO DO!) - very close also to the cities of Moonikendam, Marken and Edam which have a crazy charm! I recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to be quiet and in spacious accommodation.

Petra’s place is very spacious and better than we expected. It has 2 separate showers and 1 toilet which is a plus if your traveling by a group. What we really like it that, her apartment is very near to Zaanse Schans, we always go there everyday to explore the windmills. There is a grocery store nearby. And even we arrived very late, it was very safe to walk from the train station to her apartment plus we enjoyed the chocolate aroma everytime we pass by the choc factory near by. We will definitely book her place when we visit Netherlands.

Petra was a very good and informative host, I stayed in Zandijik from Thursday to Sunday with three friends and recieved a PDF the day before with all the information needed to check in and out by ourselves with reccomendations of nearby supermarket, stores and how to get to the city by car and train. Even though we did not get to meet Petra she always felt close with her quick responses so I definitely reccomend this if you aprecciate your privacy like me. The neighbourhood was very quiet and still, the apartment itself was very big and clean with towels and linens laid out for us. The train is very easy to find and if you like living a bit outside the city for a calm stay, this is the place to stay!

It is very easy to pop into Amsterdam from Petra's apartment. The place is warm, clean and spacious. A a great place to relax after a day out and about. The supermarket nearby is very small and has limited choice, The bakery is really nice. It's a beautiful area with much character.

Petra’s place was so lovely! Perfectly located, well designed, clean, comfortable, and so easy to use. We will be back! It is so easy to use the train to go into the city.

The house was very spacious! Location was great too, 7-10mins walk to train station and you can smell cocoa beans which I absolutely love. The only cons personally for me is that the apartment is at 2nd level so it was a hassle carrying our luggages, and the sink is outside of the toilet area. But the house itself and location is great overall, so I wanted to stay here. Check in was easy to, never met the host but Petra gave all the details I need for the stay.

We had wonderful days in a very nice apartment with a terrace right on the water. An ideal location for trips to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar and the North Sea.

Astrid's house is beautiful, very spacious and with everything you need for a family with children! Impeccable and super comfortable beds, practical and baby chair! Full kitchen and washing machine. A very quiet and peaceful place to relax and rest.

Great space to unwind

We enjoyed this very nice place and can imagine to come back again the next time we travel to the Amsterdam-area. We were here in January and the weather was to cold to use the fantastic terrace at the water - in spring or summer it must’ve amazing.

Do yourself a solid and don’t hesitate booking this home. A peaceful retreat from the city that’s not too far away to be off the Uber grid. 10/10. We could have happily stayed forever!

We had a really great time in the house. It is really relaxing and calm. It can get very loud though when it is windy and raining. It is very well equipped and offers more or less everything you need. The heating works perfectly, so also for cold days and weeks this house is definitely to recommend. We had an issue with the cleanliness but Boris was very caring and obliging. As the reviews all mention the top-notch-cleanliness I believe this was a one-timer and I would definitely recommend the house for a stay.

We had a great time at Jannekes place.The surrounding area is just beautiful and super quiet, perfect atmosphere for a relaxing time! We enjoyed it very much!

From the moment we booked until the day of arrival, we already had a lot of sense and anticipation. When we arrived, we shook hands with Janneke and we were able to enter Miss. Captured on camera for Instagram & YouTube we both walked with our mouth open through the Miss! How wonderful and what an impression during this moment! Furnishing a house in such a small area so functionally and practically bears witness to knowledge, insight and know what works or does not work! You will immediately feel at home and will continue to be surprised! We sat at the table, looked around us, read the guestbook while enjoying a glass of wine! Then by bike ..... The two available bicycles are ideal for riding to the village cafe "de Vriendschap"! Enjoyed the view there, a glass of wine and the pleasant service. It is great to see the view of the dyke on the way back and feel the atmosphere of the country! In short ... - Münster's coat of arms is wonderful, hospitable, tasty and super sweet and pleasant staff! Great evening and even to make a nice vlog in the wine room! - Breakfast ordered from Laura! Super tasty and very generous !! This was the cherry ... - The outdoor swimming pool !!! Amazing !! Although we did not have nice weather ... 8 degrees, a lot of wind and drizzly, we still filled the tub, turned on the hearth, and took a dip in the tub! Delicious and wonderful! It is totally private, and an amazing view! - Awaken with this view !!! Awesome!! A wonderful place to make beautiful memories ...

A beautiful, peaceful place where you can relax. We felt comfortable there from the first moment. The house is very comfortably furnished. Exactly the right place to enjoy life and nature. From every place in the house you have a great view and hear the numerous birds that are in the area. We briefly had a problem with the water. Janneke responded immediately and Michel came to our aid. He not only helped us, but there was also a very friendly conversation with some tips. In short we could enjoy our stay to the fullest and switch off completely. A small bike tour with the provided tandem through the really beautiful, idyllic surroundings is highly recommended.

De Woude, what a super special place. The cottage is so stylish, cozy. You will feel completely at ease in no time. Everything is present and thought about! Leigh-Anne is such a sweetheart. Committed, caring and just a super host! You can feel that she does this with passion. We enjoyed the wind, the sheep, the outside, the lovely bed, the cute ferries and your famous brownies. We had a wonderful girlfriends weekend in this wonderful house. It is super deluxe with a nice bed, coffee maker with fresh beans, homemade cookies, a beautiful view ... Leigh-Anne is a super-friendly hostess and very fast in communication. We also found the later check-out super fine. Do not forget to take a nice walk on the nice island (with boots / hiking boots due to mud). We enjoyed! Do not hesitate to book!

Nobody should miss this! A beautiful house in a particularly idyllic spot. Unexpected gem in the landscape, the Woude. Leigh-Anne is really a super host. Very welcoming but not intrusive. The cottage is beautifully decorated, spotless and fully equipped. Everything is made with love and is done with love. What does a man want more?

Peter is very nice and gives a hand whenever you need. It’s convenient to access to the Krommenie-Assendelft train station and supermarkets even though it’s a bit far from the house, it may take 15-20minutes by walking. But it’s not a problem for me at all because I love walking and enjoy the nature view along the way. My room is quite spacious and cozy, everything you need are well-equipped. I’ve been to several interesting places such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Kinderdijk, Giethoorn, Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Hoorn, and two wonderful museums, Rijksmuseum and Mauritshuis, really enjoyed my stay:-) Thanks for everything, Peter:-)

Best AirBNB I have stayed in!! So clean, massive room and great personal touches like chocolate and water in the room. Bed was so comfy. Could be an issue if you have big bags, is 20 minutes from a station but that’s the only small issue

The distance to Krommenie-Assendelft is about 20 minutes walk which is okay. The place is super clean, and Peter is a super chill guy. He waited for me as I’m checking in late at night. Will definitely stay at Peters again.

I had an enjoyable time at Peter's house. It was exceptionally clean. Peter answered questions I wrote as text messages very quickly, and helped me plan my visits in neighboring Amsterdam when I was there.

We have enjoyed a lot in family in the house of Helen. The facilities of the complex are great, children have enjoyed swimming pools, swings and even had bouncy castles the days we have been.

Leigh-Anne is an absolute hostess. The welcome was great, she gives a short tour of the cozy cottage and we were welcomed with freshly baked brownies! In the cottage it really lacks nothing. Bathrobes in the bathroom, a very nice coffee machine in the kitchen, fresh flowers in the living room, tea lights to make it even more cozy, a very nice bed (the bedding smelled wonderfully fresh) in the bedroom with fantastic views over the island. We also met the neighbors, 2 very sweet sheep, 3 cozy goats and a number of curious chickens. You will really relax in this wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

We stayed 1 night in the cottage. It felt like we had been there longer! The cottage is fully equipped. Clean, nice view, nice bed and shower. Good coffee! Brownies were tasty. With 4 in 1 bedroom. Youngest in a deryan tent. Went great! Because of the ferry you still get a kind of island feeling. Fun! The village is also cozy. Communication with Leigh-Anne was very easy. Very thoughtful! Recommended!

We have enjoyed incredibly! The cottage is fully equipped, very cozy and beautiful views of the meadow from the living room and the bedroom. And not unimportantly: the bed was wonderful. We were only one night away, but it felt like a week. Leigh-Anne has made a major contribution with her hospitality, flexibility and eye for details in the house. The cottage is just perfect and exactly as described. Leigh-Anne warmly welcomed us and showed us everything. The bed was really comfortable, the interior absolutely beautiful. Its the perfect seize for two people and the fact that it’s on an island makes it even more special. It’s the perfect spot to explore the area, Haarlem, Alkmaar, the ocean - everything is reachable in around 30 minutes. We can definitely recommend the Lakeland Cottage and can’t wait to come back!

Pipowagen is super cozy and surprisingly comfortable for such a small space. We have been received very hospitably on the nice island and the breakfasts are amazing. With the wood burning stove there it was easy to do in the winter, and we found the duvet even too warm for above freezing :)

A place to be when you are visiting Amsterdam. It’s like a little, romantic fairy house. The details, attentions and the warm feeling you get is just amazing. Everywhere you look you’ll find something new ! The island is easily reachable and very peaceful.

I can hardly put it into words, I liked it so much in this wonderful, so lovingly designed circus wagon. Every detail is so loving and you can't see enough :-) Everything was spotlessly clean and we lacked nothing :-) The morning breakfast was the highlight, so tasty and so nicely done and for me as a celiac it was very special because I got a gluten-free breakfast every day, even cakes and pancakes were included :-) The location is great, Amsterdam, Alkmaar very close and the beach was reachable in about 20 minutes. Christina and her husband are excellent hosts, thank you for everything! We will definitely come again!

We spent 3 nights at Conchita and her family. The mobile home was very very clean, there was all the necessary equipment, and even a bottle of crémant on arrival! The kids were happy outside on the trampoline. If you have the car, go there with your eyes closed! Amsterdam is a 20-minute drive away and the setting is idyllic.

We liked it very well in the accommodation. My husband and our 2 small children and I could spend a relaxing holiday in the motorhome. Around it ponies, sheep and cows walk-very idyllic! An absolute childhood dream! By car it is not far to the sea or to Amsterdam! On the spot you can explore the area great by bike!

Peter is a very friendly and nice person, the house is in a very quiet neighborhood and is about 45 minutes from the main train station (~ 20 minutes on foot from home to the stop and then ~ 20 minutes by train to the main train station). tip-top stay!

This was a very good Airbnb to stay at. I was provided with several luxuries such as; a coffee maker, light snacks, brochures, a sleeping mask, and extra blankets in case I was cold. The bed was very comfortable and the blanket provided was warm enough that I didn’t need the extra. However, the Airbnb was very far from Amsterdam Central. It took me two trains which took more than one hour to get into the city. It made it less convenient to travel back and forth. My hosts waited up until I checked in because I had a late check in. Overall good hospitality, but the distance from the city was inconvenient.

It’s a great spot. Peter is really nice and accommodating. The house is a 20-25 min walk from the station. And then 20-25 min ride into town. I enjoyed the walk and ride but if you want to be there fast this isn’t the place for you. I met 2 girls from America that also stayed there and it made for a good time in town. It was a great experience.

Superb little barge near Amsterdam. It is necessary to have a car because few things around but the barge is very cozy and the scenery is total .. The bathroom and wc are open but for a family it is not very annoying .. Michel our host was very available and friendly and good advice for visits. We will return soon ... Thank you

Had a wonderful stay on this boat! Everything was very clear in advance due to the smooth communication with the owners. The boat itself was very clean and very well equipped. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and made very nice walks. The outside garden is a big plus and also very well cared for. We had no comments at all about our stay.

Nice cozy boat, hopefully in the future again

We stayed a total of four nights over New Year's Eve. The location of the house is beautiful and in the morning you are awakened by chickens and ducks and the quiet sounds of nature. Day trips to Amsterdam or the sea are great to plan from De Woude. The ferry from De Woude to the mainland is almost always and uncomplicated. The equipment of the house is also excellent. We were five people in total and the space in the house was completely sufficient. Minette is a warm and loving hostess who looks after and manages her accommodation with love and passion. She always helped us with problems or questions. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to discover Holland and wants to live on a quiet, beautiful & warm island with a great host. It is a special place, a simple but very lovingly designed house with everything you need. The heating is great and the ferry crossing is fun.

We could not have been happier in the beautiful little house of Minette and Thomas. It was very clean, we were received very nice and as soon as we had questions, we were helped immediately. A special highlight was the fishing trip with Thomas. We come back anytime and recommend this property to 100%.

Everything has been thought of in this house. We were also amazed by the creative and original design of the house. We have made great use of the outdoor spaces, there is so much to look at, everything comes by sailing and swimming, humans and animals. The chickens in the back garden are especially very funny and cozy, and tasty fresh eggs!

the tiny house is very well appointed. Dario, Shady and Noel are super welcoming. we had a lovely New Year's Eve party. we traveled with our cat, the small garden is very secure for the animals that go out. they also have an adorable dog. the restaurants near the tiny house are very good and walking to the station was a pleasure because the area is very beautiful. Thank you for every thing 🙂

Very easy to access to public transport, and safe to walk around, there are restaurant and market nearby. The guest house is next to host's house, thus it's easy to reach the host. Biggest bonus point is their lovely dog

A little bit out of the way but one of the best places to stay in Amstersdam!

The place is tidy, nice and modern. It is located in a family friendly area. You have to take the train from Amsterdam Centraal which takes you 20 minutes and than another 20 minutes by walking or you can take the bus. When you arrive in the colder month (we stayed there in December), make sure to bring warm clothes. Even though the flat has a heater, it was very cold during the night so be aware. ;) Nontheless, it was an amazing stay and very recommendable! Five from five stars * :)

Very cosy and lovely space!

The little house is a amazing spot. It has the real Dutch farmy land scape and water ways right at its door steps. The house it self is warm cozy and a great place to chill out after a day of walking, cycling or Kano in the area. It is just a 20 minut drive from Amsterdam . Meaning you can combine a peaceful place like this with enjoying the Amsterdam experience. Great stop.

Cozy nights in front of the log fire, lovely rides on the free to use bikes and 20 minutes into Amsterdam. This is the best place to stay if you want to experience the Netherlands and Amsterdam

We had a wonderful stay at Marijke's lovely wooden cottage with our Golden Mika. We all felt very comfortable and enjoyed the quiet and cosy place.

A nice house with a soft sofa and wood-burning stove, a nice bed, beautiful views and beautiful walking routes in the area.

Marijke's place was super cosy. The place has good enough utilities for cooking a meal and is the ideal place to relax and chill out away from the city. Although 30 minutes away from Amsterdam it is very easy to get there via train, the station is only a 10 min drive from the cabin. Marijke's is also very helpful and can ask if you need anything while staying. Would definitely stay again.

Location is only 5 minutes from train station. So easy for us to travel to other places. And the supermarkets are always nearby. The place itself is very clean and spacious. Exactly as what it is in the picture. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly when you ask them questions. Love this place and would definitely come back again, if I have the chance.

The city (Heiloo) is beautiful, we loved to enjoy both the city and the nearby beach. Amsterdam is only 30 minutes away as well (by train). The space is wonderful, clean and cozy. The host was quick to help us, and made us comfortable. No need to worry, just enjoy the moment :)

We had great days with Niels. The accommodation has everything you need. If you like, you can rent bikes for a small fee and use the sauna. With the bicycles we were twice at the sea. In the village there are several shops and everything you need. We will be back again!

A fantastic place to stay and the whole area of Heiloo was beautiful. It was just the right distance for travelling to Amsterdam too. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and were there if we needed any tips or information on anything. Would really recommend this place!

A great stay at Niels, a plus he speaks French is a great advantage! Very nice village well located, 30min by train from Amsterdam. In addition Niels gives bicycles for a walk, possibility to go to the beach (5km). I highly recommend !

This tastefully decorated apartment is all you can ask for to make a short stay in North Holland a very pleasant experience. The location is just about perfect. A mere 300 meters or so from a train station with frequent service to Amsterdam and beyond is very convenient. A couple very decent bicycles at your disposal for trips to the beach or nearby, historic, Alkmaar adds to the charm. It's clean, nicely layed out and has all the amenities one would need. We will be returning at some point!!

Renate and Hans are very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment is in near distance to Amsterdam and nicely decorated. The back garden with a river view is very nice. I highly recommend !

Very cute little place in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything went very smoothly, and Renate and her family are so lovely! Perfect for heading out to nearby towns, cycling or driving. Very convenient location but do factor in the price of the trains!

The house is very good. The surrounding environment is very clean and comfortable. The landlord is very good. Knowing that we didn't have dinner at night, I asked for takeout for us. Unfortunately, it was too late. They all closed. Then they gave us soup. They checked out at 10 o'clock. We were allowed to stay half an hour late. Thank the landlord

This apartment is lovely. It’s a mere train ride from Amsterdam but far enough away to be an oasis of calm from the hubbub of the city. It’s right near a shopping center where you can pick up groceries if you don’t feel like eating out, surrounded by quaint and quiet canals. Renate is lovely, gives very specific directions, and provides plenty of amenities. She even helped us with a minute request for a wine stopper as soon as we arrived!

We enjoyed our stay so much. Ingrid gave us a very warmly welcome with fresh flowers and a "lecker" red vine. Of course, we will come back in this wonderful house!

The chicken house is really a great holiday home in a special place. The island has the charm of yesteryear (and yet all the comforts of today) - the crossing lets you forget everyday life at the latest. In the very clean house you will find everything you need. The bathroom is modern and the shower is large. Bedroom and kitchen are typically Dutch - small :-D but very cozy and homely. In the winter garden and in the living room you can relax - depending on your mood - with TV and Netflix or the grandiose nature and the water right outside the window. Geese, seagulls, titmouse and waterfowl, cats, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, herons, everything within sight and hearing - it is wonderful. Ingrid and Rene are great and very nice, personable hosts who made us feel very welcome and made us feel like we could always ask for anything.

A real little paradise on the island of woude. Ideal for family vacations. Ingrid is a host who cuts herself in 4 for his guests! We hope to return!

We felt very comfortable in the 'chicken house'. In the morning you can see the sun rise from the living room and watch the goats and sheep grazing. Ingrid is a great hostess.

Ingrids house is very lovely and beautiful! It's calm but quiet good to reach. Perfect place for a vacation close to Amsterdam, when you don't want to be in the city itself. Ingrid is a great host, very friendly and helpful! The communication works fast and very uncomplicated, so does the check-in and everything else. In the apartment there is everything you need for a nice vacation, no matter if you want to be there for a few days or even longer. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend the stay to everybody!

Cute little house in the large and lovingly tended garden of the hosts. Delicious and sumptuous breakfast is brought fresh over :) The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We had a very good time there!

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend in the Zaan region and in particular in the Saense house. The weather was not to write home, so we enjoyed the house more. Amsterdam is easily accessible via public transport. As far as we are concerned, a must to return again.

Great host! Peter gave us detailed intructions about everything, treated us with tea and coffee that was lucky because we came late in the evening and the stores were closed. The room was cozy and WARM (it was pretty cold and windy outside), and the house itslef was beatiful. Highly recommend!

I wanted a place out of the city, so Peter’s place was just right. It’s peaceful, surrounded by greenery and ducks in streams. A nice place if you want a quiet neighbourhood and clean home. :)
