  • Michelle and Robin's place was so cozy! Really great to have your own little backyard with big, beautiful trees and a little porch to relax on. The bathtub with a large sun roof was great to relax in as well. Overall great stay!

  • What a lovely space. I also appreciated that the windows were open when we arrived. Small details that help us to see they're taking precautions with cleanliness and protecting immunity.

  • Truly remarkable and amazing, a slice of heaven or in this case a lemon bar of paradise. Really appreciated our time, feeling refreshed, relaxed and quite happy. Much needed and grateful to have had the opportunity to share such a sanctuary. Thank you for your hospitality!

  • This is a cozy wooded cabin space. Many extra items made the stay like being at home. The wine and lemon bars, coffee and cream, and many extra amenities made our stay even nicer.

  • Very cute little place, close to lots in Sebastopol. And the bed was amazing! The electric blanket and electric fireplace were very nice on a cold and windy night.

  • The place was amazing. I only put a bit better than expected because it was so highly rated I expected it to be pretty nice and it didn’t disappoint at all. We had a great time and really enjoyed the bottle of wine that we were met w as well as the lemon tarts. I can’t say enough about this place! Thanks again for the hospitality! I recommend this place to anyone looking in the area!

  • Lemon Moon cottage is such a welcoming serene place to stay ! There are so many thoughtful details to make it magical . The bed was comfy, the heater was great when it got cold in the evenings, the deck was the perfect place to see the stars come out at night and also perfect to practice yoga, drink tea and see the sunrise . Close enough to easily get to town and far enough away to fall asleep to crickets and frogs.

  • We had a great time in Sebastopol and enjoyed the cozy cottage. Hosts were super sweet and left a couple surprises for us which made our visit memorable. It was really great waking up and having a cup of coffee overlooking the creek. Perfect location to explore the area!

Shangrila has gotten even better. My son, Gino, & his sweet little dog, Frida, are cohosting with me. Gino is very knowledgable about the many hiking trails in the area. The delightful Occidental Bohemian Farmers Market runs Fri. evenings from the end of June till the end of Oct. If you long to get your hands dirty, but don't have a garden, we'll share ours. There's always something to do!
Your spacious room overlooks a redwood forest with a meadow & wooded hills beyond. You may think you want to visit Sonoma County vineyards, beaches, or the Russian River, but once you're here, you may not want to leave. The room is quiet. You have your own bathroom called "The Mexi" because of Mexican tiles & mementos of travels in that country. There is safe, off street parking. You are within walking distance of the picturesque village of Occidental where there are good restaurants, gift shops, & tennis courts. People also love to ride bicycles around here even tho the roads are narrow, curvy, & steep. We are early risers & will have coffee ready by 7:00 with a gourmet continental breakfast consisting of home pressed organic apple juice, homegrown organic seasonal fruits, homemade jam & a special sweet. We are well situated as a stopover, but we could also be a destination. We have lawn Bocce ball & horse shoes. For rest after those exertions, there are hammocks in the redwoods. There is such good bird watching here that the local Audubon stops here during their Xmas bird count. When the weather isn't conducive to outside time, there is a fireplace in the living room. We love to share this beautiful place. Come on over!
Shangrila is in a quiet, pretty neighborhood in Occidental.
  • Mary has a lovely place nestled in the redwoods at the end of a quiet road. The host was warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

    Stephanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's house is in a great location to see the Redwoods & also the coast. The bedroom & bathroom were clean & very comfortable, Mary, Gino & Freida were very welcoming, we also had time to sit out the back amongst the redwoods around their home. The beds were very comfortable, towels left to use & a kettle & mugs for tea...which is a great touch for the British like us that take teabags everywhere we go!! Occidental is a 5 minute drive & a lovely little town with some shops & restaurants for brunch/lunch (we ate in Howards) or dinner (Union Hotel Restaurant & Barley & Hops). The Redwoods in Armstrong Park are amazing & if you are fit enough take a hike on one of the Ridge paths, ensure you have a couple of bottles of water each, good shoes & walking poles if needed as it can get steep...but the views at the top are great.

  • My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Mary's. Mary and her son Gino (and his dog Frida) are wonderful hosts, super accommodating and personable. She made coffee cake for breakfast and there is always fresh fruit available. They told us about the local farmers market in Occidental and the Grove of Old Trees (a must-do easy walk). Her home is lovely -- I'd say a work of art -- in the most gorgeous setting in the redwoods. Every room has skylights to enjoy the towering redwoods. Idyllic. A wedding brought us to the area for the weekend, but if time permitted, I could have spent the days in a hammock under the trees and playing with Frida. I'm sorry we had to bug out so early Sunday morning for our long drive back to LA and miss saying goodbye. I love that Mary calls it "Shangrila," because it is!

  • Mary is an excellent host. Enjoyed our time there.

  • Quiet, private wing of the main house, with peaceful and inviting wooded grounds

    Mike2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely getaway from the normal hustle and bustle. Love the trees and atmosphere!

    Jen2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Mary was helpful, kind, generous and well connected in her community. Not to mention her home is beautiful, well kept and has an organic, wholesome feel. Mary made us feel welcome in her home and we are so happy we stumbled upon Shangrila! Would stay there again.

Shelter in Place” orders have been issued by both the State of California and Sonoma County. To comply with these order as they relate to short-term rental use, this property's Owner is able to accept the following types of bookings ONLY: Sonoma County residents who have been displaced because another person in their own residence must isolate or quarantine Sonoma County residents who themselves must isolate or quarantine, or essential personnel ie. health care worker, etc.
Your own wine country cottage with its own bath and kitchen located on a small farm. The cottage is private, but we are available to answer any questions. The cottage has it's own yard and garden. The parking is right outside the cottage with no trails or steps to get to it. The cottage overlooks the farm and a eucalyptus grove. You may see our mini-horse "Comanche", chickens, a sheep or two meander by on the other side of the fence. The cottage is fully insulated for even temperature. It is bright, private, modern rustic with open ceilings and a Vermont Castings vented gas fireplace. A flick of the switch and "voila" a beautiful, warm fire in the hearth. The bathroom has a glass shower, no tub. There is a queen-sized bed with the most comfortable mattress imaginable. There is also full-size organic wool and cotton coil futon sofa that sleeps two. We provide only the highest quality cotton towels and bedding. The guests really appreciate it. And, you can cook there. We have 2 burner stove and small convection oven, lots of pots, pans, etc. We'd be happy to share our farm fresh eggs with you. They're so much better than store bought! The guests have exclusive use of a private yard, with seating. There is a small garden attached where they can help themselves to strawberries, greens for a salad or whatever else may be in season. While we have dogs, cats and farm animals on the property no animals are allowed in the cottage. Guests may not bring pets either. This ensures the cottage stays clean and allergen-free. We interact with guests as much as necessary for the guests. We assume people like their privacy, but we also love to meet people and show them around the farm if interested. We tend to let the guests determine how much interaction they want with us. We know the area well and are available to answer any questions. We also love to share our farm fresh goodies, like fresh eggs, veggies or fruit from our trees. Our farm is located in the Twin Hills area of Sebastopol. This desirable area is known for its rolling hills, apple orchards, Christmas Tree Farms, and vineyards. There are many beautiful walks to take right out the door. While you may feel far away from it all, downtown is less than a ten minute drive, and door to door we are twenty minutes to the beaches of Bodega Bay taking beautiful back roads right from our neighborhood. There are three main wine tasting routes nearby. For chardonnays and pinot noirs you can stay right in our appellation, the Russian River Valley, and Olivet Road to River Rd. Healdsburg is Dry Creek and Alexander Valley for merlots, zinfandels and cabernet sauvignon. All of these and more are nearby. Right in Sebastopol there is Iron Horse Vineyards, Lynmar, Balletto, Russian River Vineyards, Dutton Family Wines and many more. You will need a car to get around as there is no public transportation in our rural neighborhood. There is such a variety of things to do in our area. Sebastopol is famous for its award winning wineries, restaurants and antique shops. It also has an artsy bohemian feel, and many are dedicated to the slow food movement. Neighbors regularly trade their bounties with each other, such as milk, honey, eggs and veggies. There is also the beaches and cliffs of Bodega Bay (we provide beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. upon request), and great swimming and picnicking at the Russian River. You can hike through beautiful redwoods at Armstrong Woods. And of course visit countless wineries and gourmet restaurants. We can fill you in on our favorite spots.

  • Great stay at Mary's cottage! very cute, clean, and had everything I needed during my stay. Mary was an excellent host. 100% recommend!

  • Cosy, clean and very well equipped little cottage. Easy access to downtown Sebastopol but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful nature of the neighborhood and nighttime sky full of stars. Very comfortable bed too. Mary has been very responsive during our stay. We look forward to coming back.

    Yasmin2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's cottage is idyllic. My partner and I came up for a quiet romantic getaway from our home in the bay. The cottage is perfect sized for 2. We enjoyed lazy afternoons between outings playing board games at the table and watching the stars at night on the swing set. The farm animals nearby were utterly charming and never woke us and check-in and out we're seemless. Mary's recommendations were comprehensive. This is a great little place if you want to explore Sebastopol and the Sonoma coast. Would love to stay again!

  • Mary & Bruce had been wonderful & gracious hosts on their beautiful property. They even provided us with farm fresh eggs that tasted absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay again.

  • Perfect little cottage for our weekend in Sebastopol.

    Emily2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my relaxing stay at Mary’s cottage. The space was quiet and squeaky clean. The bed; sheets, and comforter were so soft and comfortable, it was a chilly day but the gas fireplace kept it plenty warm. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout. We especially liked the tall peaked ceiling with barn lantern.

Welcome to Velouria, our cabin in the redwoods of northern California. It has everything to make your forrest retreat perfect. It's close to downtown Guerneville and many beautiful local attractions, nature trails and renown vineyards.
This special cabin has a very unique, treehouse feel to it. Sit with a good book on one of the sundecks or in the tree-hung hammock by day, then warm yourself in the cosy living-room with rustic log fire when it gets dark, then have a relaxing night time dip in the hot tub before trundling of to your bed.
Velouria is located in a secluded neighborhood of historic Guerneville in the wilds of West Sonoma. Located only 69 miles North of San Francisco, the A-frame cottage is situated at the end of a cul de sac atop a mountain ridge with beautiful views. Historic downtown Guerneville has recently been in the vacation spotlight as a intimate town that combines a rich experience of pioneer life with wine country luxury. Rent a canoe or kayak and sail the legendary Russian River. Visit renown wineries, sample the alternative local nightlife or go reclusive and wander amongst the lush Redwood forrest rife with wildlife such as wild turkeys, red wing hawks, deer families and colorful songbirds.
  • Our stay was amazing! Everything about this cabin is so serene. The hot tub is perfectly placed and it was just an amazing view. I would wake up early and sit it the solarium and soak up the sun while I drank some tea and read a book. Craig and Shane were very responsive and great hosts! We hope to stay here again.

    Valerie2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, lovely stay! I would highly recommend. The hosts were wonderful, thank you so much!

    Laura2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • The retreat in the woods is extremely relaxing. Shane and Craig were very friendly hosts and made themselves available if needed. The place is a little small, so I would stick to no more than 4 people during a stay.

    Joe2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Shane & Craig’s cabin and grounds have a magical quality to them. The sun room was one of my favorite parts- plenty of natural light, peaceful silence, and lots of stars to gaze at from the hot tub. We’ll definitely be back!

    Michael2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Truly magical. Relax in the lounge chairs under the immense tree canopy and enjoy the bluebirds, hawks, and stars. The house is literally surrounded by trees with huge windows and skylights to enjoy from all sides. There was plenty of firewood left behind to light a fire to warm the house. The bathroom is spa-like overlooking the garden. Definitely recommend and will be back.

    Jessica2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is beautiful! The area is absolutely peaceful and great to enjoy the outdoors. The garden is really special and absolutely beautiful! Shane + Craig were great hosts - very responsive. Would love to come back some day!

    Sadhika2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely stay at Velouria! Such a cute spot tucked in the woods. Shane and Craig were excellent hosts. Looking forward to a return trip!

**Important Coronavirus Info** Under the current state order, we are legally prohibited from hosting any short term rentals for tourism right now in Sonoma County. We have been informed by Sonoma County supervisors that short term rentals will not be permitted to reopen until phase 3 or 4. (We are currently in phase 2). See more info below in description.
**Coronavirus / Shelter in Place Information** Please also see info above in Summary. Please do not use instant book during this time for reservations. The current order says that we can not host any short term tourism reservations at this time. We are hoping this order will be lifted soon, but we really have no idea at this point when that will happen. According to our our board of Supervisors in Sonoma County, short term rentals and hotels reopening in California are under phase 3 or 4, so it could be awhile. We can only do month to month long term rentals of 31 days or more at this time. (Occupancy taxes are waived after 31 days) If the order is looking like it will be extended at the end of May through June then we will be asking current booked guests to cancel all short term June and early July reservations and we will instead be renting our home on a long term month to month basis. Please inquire if you are looking for a monthly rental in June or July. If you book for short term rentals for June or July right now, please be aware that we may need you to cancel your reservation or change your dates on your reservation if our order is not lifted by the beginning of June so we can do a month to month rental instead. Current Shelter in Place Order in Sonoma County reads as follows. Short term rentals and hotels may only operate as an essential business if they: -provide shelter for economically disadvantaged or otherwise needy individuals who are locals of Sonoma County, including individuals needing housing to ensure adequate social distancing -support housing necessary for an essential business to operate (i.e. housing traveling nurses).” Violation of or failure to comply with this Order is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both. COVID Cleaning Protocols: Our cottage is professionally cleaned from top to bottom between each guest. Our cleaners immediately open up all the doors and windows upon arrival and keep them open during cleaning and after. (We also ask the previous guests to open windows before they leave) Our cleaners wear masks and gloves the entire time they are there, they clean all surfaces and then also go back and do a 2nd pass and disinfect all surfaces that guests come in contact with such as light switches, door handles, entry keypad, toilet handles, shower handles, amenities, refrigerator and stove handles, kitchen cuboard handles, faucets, nightstand handles, remote controls, remote control instructions, heating and AC controls, coffee, sugar, etc. etc. This is done every single time between each guest. We also have Hepa Filters running upstairs and downstairs upon your arrival and windows will be left open whenever possible for increased ventilation. We also provide disinfecting cleaner and paper towels under the sink as well for guests to use during their stay. We are not currently scheduling 24 hour buffers between guests, if you need this extra precaution, please book an extra day during your stay before your planned arrival day. • Created to feel like a luxury boutique hotel experience. • Private Backyard and Private Solar Heated Swimming Pool with Sunbrella Pool Floats (Pool is not heated in the winter, solar heat can only work when it is warm out from May to early late September or sometimes until early October)   • Italian designed Clearlight Full Spectrum Far Infrared ultra low emf outdoor 4 person sauna • New Air Conditioning throughout, ceiling fan in bedroom, extra fan in closet if needed • New King Size Luxury Eco-Friendly Non Toxic Memory Foam Mattress from Saatva in master bedroom with Serena and Lily Canopy Bed. • All natural bedding materials with 100% Belgian linen sheets, Egyptian cotton gauze blanket, Australian all natural wool comforter inside linen duvet cover. • Pillow Bar Menu - Luxury Hotel Collection King Size Pillows from Northern Feather Canada on the bed. Located in the quiet and safe residential neighborhood of Graton. Graton is a small town filled with artists and environmentally minded people. We have very friendly neighbors. Some of our immediate neighbors are: metal sculpture artist, florist, pottery artist, textile artist and painter, photographer, animal activist, jewelry maker, montessori teacher, butterfly cultivator, art gallery manager, solar power business owner, shaman, backyard farmers and homesteaders, well you get the idea:)  Please note that the town of Graton is located in a rural setting, but the cottage itself is in a residential neighborhood with neighbors close by. Most of the time the neighborhood is very quiet and we live on a dead end street, but occasionally a neighbor may have a gathering during the day (extremely rare), or someone may be doing some construction or repair work on their house, kids may be playing, or someone may be doing landscaping, etc. In other words, there are direct close neighbors so if you are looking for a remote rural property that is silent with no neighbors this is not it.  Please be aware that we live in a rural area. You may hear crickets or even frogs at night. You may see squirrels jumping in trees next to the house. You may see wild turkeys, quail, deer, bats, hawks, or even an owl here and there either down on the nature trail or just walking down the street. You may see a beautiful red dragonfly drinking from the pool, ladybugs or even a spider or hummingbird on occasion in the backyard. In the spring, summer, or fall you may see some paper wasps (not aggressive unless they are attacked) or bees here and there on plants or flying around in the backyard and in the surrounding neighborhood. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone, we have never been stung the whole time we have lived here and a guest has never been stung either. If you are allergic though, you should stay elsewhere to be safe. We regularly check for paper wasp nests in the summer and get rid of them Immediately but if you are in this west county area you may still see some flying around here and there outside in the summer. They are a part of the natural environment here and serve a purpose, everyone we know in the area has some on their property and we have to learn to coexist with them to some extent in this natural environment. We hardly even notice them anymore, although we do go to great lengths to do everything we can to control them on our property but obviously we can never be totally in control of nature. You may see fake paper mache nests as a wasp deterrent or you may smell some slight peppermint or clove oil in an essential oil diffuser outside as a deterrent as well. If you are someone that needs a 100% controlled environment without any of these "nature" elements, then please find a different property that is more suitable to your needs. Also, please remember to look up and enjoy the stars at night, they are bigger and brighter here! The cottage is located in the heart of it all. Countless wineries / vineyards in the area to go wine tasting. Five minute walk to downtown Graton restaurants such as The Underwood, and Willowood. Five minute walk to the fabulous Bowman Cellars Wine Tasting Room which is three blocks away. Red Car and Dutton and many other great wineries are a quick five minute drive from the cottage. Five minute drive to the Barlow and the town of Sebastopol. Five minutes to Forestville. Ten minutes to Occidental.  Fifteen minute drive to Guerneville. Ten minutes to Russian River. 20 minute drive to the beach (Bodega Bay) 25 minutes to Healdsburg (take the back way, very pretty drive).

Communication with Trinette and Chris was great and fast. It was hard to leave the house... Would love to stay for another time. ✨🙏🏻

  • What a find! From the moment we walked in, until the time we left, we felt like we were on vacation at a little private oasis. We loved the open feeling, fresh white decor and greenery throughout the home and back yard. It felt so private and yet we were able to walk to dinner, and get to a trailhead in no time. We cannot wait to come back!

  • We've stayed in AirBnBs all over the world, and this is one of the most incredibly-styled and appropriately-detailed spaces we've ever stayed in. It was the perfect place to get away and rejuvenate.

  • WOW!! I’m pretty sure no other Airbnb will ever top this one. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Farmhouse Oasis for four nights and they were 4 of the best with amazing hosts. That attention to detail and all the extra special touches are what makes this B&B the best. It truly felt like we were staying at a luxury resort with the welcome gift, pillow bar, bathrobes, the essential oils and sprays, the tub and soaking salts, the coffee bar, etc etc. it was an experience that we will never forget and I can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

  • What an amazing space. We wanted a quiet get away and this was just perfect. Close to several restaurants and wineries but not too busy. Just loved all the details and the private backyard and pool was better than I expected. Worth every penny. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Wow, what a special special place! From the minute you walk in you immediately feel the clean and relaxing energy. I absolutely loved the furnishing and design. There are so many amenities you can’t find at most Airbnb’s. We had our dog Milo with us and he felt right at home. We are so grateful to Trinette and Chris for all of their recommendations and communicating quickly throughout our stay. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later.

Three bedrooms plus a music room that can have a queen air bed should you need it in the countryside among organic apple orchards and vineyards in beautiful Sebastopol. Wrap around deck, stunning views. Soak in the hot tub, cook in our fully equipped kitchen and enjoy the splendours of Sonoma County.
We live in the countryside in and around organic apple orchards and vineyards in beautiful Sonoma County. Our home has a wrap around deck with gorgeous views. The ocean is a 17 minute drive and a trip from here to San Francisco will take one hour. Santa Rosa airport is a 30 minutes drive away. Soak in the hot tub, visit our daughter's hens, and enjoy the eggs if you wish (we'll leave some in the fridge), and help yourselves to what is growing in our garden and then cook up a feast in our open style kitchen while enjoying the views. We have pear, peach, apple, persimmon and apricot trees, to name a few, with a Meyer lemon tree to greet you at the front door. BBQ on the deck while sipping wine or enjoy a walk down our country lane. Know that our land is very private, but we do live in a neighborhood and have a 9pm-9am quiet policy to insure the tranquility of all the folks that live around us, so we ask for folks to respect this policy. Our home has three bedrooms ( 2 queen beds and one double bed) with 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own access onto the deck. We also offer two queen sized airbeds if needed which will be set up in the music room if needed. And we have a portable infant co-sleeper crib and a pack-and-play which can be set up anywhere. It's only a 10 minute drive to downtown Sebastopol where you'll find many shops, live theater and a multi-plex cinema. Sonoma County is famous for its vineyards, wineries and gourmet restaurants, all of which are close by. We're happy to recommend our favorites... The Armstrong Woods Redwood Forest is just 30 minutes away or just stay put for a perfectly peaceful getaway and a great place to meet Northern California at its finest. This is a family friendly home filled with many books, netflix and DVD's for both children and adults. We have two kitties, Oberon and Jezamo, who remain outside during your stay, but you're welcome to invite them in if you wish. We'd love to hear from you if you have any questions. Cheers, Karen and Eddie Make yourselves at home. We have teas and coffee for you, a piano and numerous stringed instruments, DVDs galore and enough music for endless inspiration. Of course sheets, towels, soaps etc. are all included. It is your home after all. We're close enough that we'll be here if you need us and far enough away that you'll have privacy as if it were your own home. The town of Sebastopol is quaint, yet it has all the amenities you could ask for. Movie theatre, wineries, beer and cider brewing pubs, ice cream shops, hiking, shopping, spas, music venues, Armstrong woods, Russian River, the beach… The list is endless, but you'll find details at our home of our top picks. The hard part will be leaving the house, because once you get here you've got views, hot tub, relaxing, cooking, talking, walks…. Remember, It's No Place Like Home, It's a Holiday! Easy parking right next to our home. Car rentals available in town and at Santa Rosa Airport which is only 30 minutes away. The house is all on one level and wheelchair accessible (no bars in the shower though). We have a TV for our many DVD's and Netflix, and basic cable.
We love Sebastopol. Sunday Farmer's Market, Thursday seasonal Barlow Market, brew pubs, wine tasting, cinemas, theater, hiking, biking, shopping. And, it's Sonoma County!
  • My girlfriends and I had a wonderful one night stay at Karen & Eddie’s beautiful house. Karen was very communicative and the house was clean and inviting. The hot tub was super relaxing and everyone was comfortable. Would stay there again!

  • What an incredible home, opened to us by warm and friendly hosts Karen and Eddie. Spacious, quiet, comfortable home with beautiful amenities and gorgeous views. The night my friends and I spent visiting here was unforgettable, and we enjoyed every moment.

  • Karen and Eddie are wonderful hosts and were so kind to let us into their home. They greeted us kindly and were very attentive. They were clear with the house rules and they had several special touches for us that made the stay unique including fresh eggs from their chickens and lemons from their tree. We wish we could have stayed longer but are grateful for the experience we had!

    Sophia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house looks exactly the same as in the pictures. It’s very well laid out, with plenty of dishes and cookware. Karen is extremely responsive and the hosts have put together a great guide accessible after you book. Thoughtful touches everywhere. This makes a wonderful weekend escape.

    Wendy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Karen and Eddie’s home. It is a great house- very relaxing and big enough for our group of 6.Karen was very responsive and even let our kids visit the chicken coop. We’d definitely be back and for a longer visit next time!

    Shweta2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a true California gem! The interior decor is so warm and inviting, we felt like we were at a family member's house! There were six of us total and the house was extremely spacious. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, so plan on having a meal or two there! I highly suggest breakfast on the deck, so you can watch the fog subside over the foothills. The view at night is even better, as you can really see stars! Karen and Eddie provided clear check-in instructions and also offered tips of what to do in the area. We had the chance to meet them and they were so welcoming. We hope to make a trip back!

Enjoy the magic of the redwoods and the beauty of the Russian River in our rustic hilltop cabin. Come for fresh air, comfort, quiet, charm, simple and beautiful design, and river time.
Per Sonoma’s Shelter-in-Place Ordinance, updated on May 1, we are open to offering our space for essential travel, and to people who are in need of a place to shelter during the pandemic, and to residents of Sonoma County who need shelter. Please inquire with your needs. Thank you and stay safe! “Camp Noon" was built over 100 years ago. We fell in love at first sight and have spent the last few years restoring it to preserve its historic features and renovating for some modern comforts and design. Unlike your typical Russian River getaway, our property is in a clearing so we have lots of sun overhead. We named it Camp Noon to evoke summer days when the sun is high and there's plenty of time. It's a gem! The cabin is a work in progress, with a blend of new features: a Scandinavian wood burning stove, skylights, Heath tile in the bathroom, brand new beds and bedding (as of May 2019), and older features like the raw redwood floors, board and batten paneling, 50s formica countertops and a huge claw foot tub. Please note that the cabin is very old — single-wall construction, gaps in the floorboards (which are creaky!), thin glass windows— our guests should expect a rustic experience. The front room of the house is a large, open space, with cathedral ceilings, and three skylights that illuminate the house during the day and allow for stargazing at night. The wood burning stove warms up the room in the winter time, and you'll find plenty of places to curl up and relax. We have a record player, records, books, and games to keep you entertained. The cabin has two bedrooms, each one with a brand new queen-size bed and frame, purchased in May 2019. There's room for more in the living room — we have a daybed couch and two twin beds. Each bedroom has soft linens and cozy blankets and we provide extra bedding for the living room when hosting more than 4 guests. The bathroom has a large beautiful claw foot tub and newly installed Heath tiles. The kitchen is a wonderful place for everyone to congregate, with three large picture windows that look out onto the redwoods. Enjoy lively meals at the large farm table. We have an electric stove, a brand new refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a toaster oven. We also stock all of the regular kitchen tools (pots, pans, knives, cutting board, spatulas, etc). The back yard is great for BBQ's. We have fairy lights set up in the back, perfect lighting for an evening outside. The front porch is the crown jewel. Swing on the hammock, sip morning coffee, read on the couch, and listen to the crickets on summer nights. The porch has a treehouse feel. We also have stacks of fluffy blankets to curl up with if it's cold out. The cabin is fully stocked with eco-friendly, good-smelling shampoo, soaps, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, spare light bulbs, q-tips, trash bags, and sponges. The bath towels are soft and new and 100% cotton. Please bring your own beach towels. SUMMER The summer days can range in temperature from 75-100 degrees, with nights much cooler, in the 50s and 60s. While the beach in Summerhome Park is exclusive (members-only), there are 3 public beaches within a mile of the cabin: Mother's Beach, Steelhead Beach, and Sunset Beach. We provide a 1-person kayak for our guests. You are welcome to eat and drink at The Lodge on the river. FALL The Russian River is magical in the fall. The crowds thin and it's very peaceful. The morning fog is fresh and the forest is quiet. The river is still navigable by canoe through October and during the week you might have the whole stretch of it to yourselves. The nights are cooler — perfect for building a fire in the wood burning stove, with the firewood we provide. SPRING The forest air is fresh and rejuvenating, the neighborhood is quiet, and the river is still wild from winter. You probably won't be able to swim in the river until the early summer, but it can still be enjoyed from the shore. You are welcome to eat and drink at The Lodge on the river. The beach! Camp Noon is just a 5 minute drive to Mother's Beach, a bit further to Sunset Beach, and about 20 mins to Steelhead Disclaimer: The place is a hundred years old and the renovation is still a work-in-progress, so there are still some quirks and rough edges: The wood floors are raw and have been through a lot, some of the windows stick, and the kitchen floor has original laminate from the 40s. If things like that sound like "rustic charm," this house is for you, if they sound like offensive hazards, probably not. The cabin isn’t necessarily kid-friendly but many families have made it work by being vigilant with little ones.
Although Sonoma County has grown up around it, this neighborhood is tucked into the woods, with a nostalgic summer-camp feeling. The weekdays and the off season are very peaceful.
  • We loved our stay in the redwoods at Lauren and Aylin's place. The porch and fireplace especially were wonderful touches that made the stay cozy and unique.

Harmony Cottage is a sweet studio right in the heart of downtown Sebastopol! Walk to great restaurants, coffee, wine bars, local brewery and shopping.
Our cottage is a separate building on our property, with a half bath and kitchenette and private outdoor shower.
  • Very cool space in a great location with thoughtful touches like coffee and wine we greatly appreciated. Outdoor shower was awesome too; highly recommend Colleen’s place

  • Great place. Wonderful location and amenities

    Carter2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in Sebastopol! We walked from this cute cottage to Lowell's restaurant, a delicious farm to table restaurant where we enjoyed soup, salad and pizza – all made with the best local ingredients. We ate at the Wildflour Bakery and Sebastopol Farmers' Market too (eating was definitely a theme of our weekend away!) Colleen and Terence were very hospitable, the space was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of natural light, and the location was A+. One thing to note: the bathroom had a curtain rather than a door and that was fine for us but might surprise some guests. Thank you!!

    Leslie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location to walk to restaurants, farmer’s market, The Barlow, the movies. Simple, comfy lovely home base for West County adventures. Outdoor shower! Colleen is a warm and welcoming host, makes sure to orient guests and communicates quickly and well. Highly recommend this getaway gem!

  • Colleen is a sensational hostess who goes above and beyond for her guests. This charming cottage has a lot of space and an incredible outdoor shower - talk about being one with the natural surroundings. Colleen is so wonderfully hospitable and even had wine and coffee waiting for us upon our arrival. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. We had the best time. An added bonus was that we could walk just minutes to get into town and have a wine tasting! So much fun.

    Danene2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I had a beautiful stay at Colleen’s place ! Would definitely be back !

    Aisha2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • A fabulous stay at the cottage, which was clean and tidy, loaded with charm and offered a sense of calm. From Colleen’s warm welcome and local recommendations to thoughtful touches (ex: fresh wildflowers in bud vases throughout the room; a filtered water station) the cottage was so very welcoming. Had a sound sleep on the mattress and the outdoor shower, enclosed by a roof of lush foliage, made you feel as though you were in a little secret garden— it was truly a highlight!

This sweet one bedroom flat is above a garage. Perfect for a couple or a family. Set in a friendly neighborhood, close to town. Take the 15-20 min walk to the bagel shop, then into downtown for an fantastic cup of coffee at Taylor Maid.
This second story house is a very desirable space, located so close to town, still being set on a very beautiful street in an friendly established older neighborhood. It is nestled between other structures on the property. One being a "Tiny House" that is right next door, my home sits behind the flat.
The best part about this space is the neighborhood. I can't say enough about it I've never seen so many friendly people in such a lovely spot. There is some traffic noise, being on the street side the bedroom can hear cars zoom by, and the occasional obnoxious monster truck etc.
  • Lisa and Dana's home is beautiful, clean, cozy and located in central Sebastopol. Lisa and Dana are generous. kind and very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying at their home!

We call our second-story studio apartment the Magic Treehouse because it is up in the trees that enhance the view and provide a magical ambience. The high ceilings add an openness that is very relaxing. It is within walking distance from downtown Sebastopol and close to many other fun and beautiful places. Come check it out!
  • A special place — so good I booked it twice! A wonderful spot to relax.

  • Delora is a fabulous host! She was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She had breakfast food ready for us and lots of information about the area handy in the treehouse. The place has great light, a nice eating nook, comfortable bed and efficiency kitchen. She was great at giving us directions from the airport as well as showing us the little intricacies of the place. She even graciously waited up for us when we checked in at 2 am! Wow! Not many would go out of their way like that. I highly recommend staying there!

We are making our space available only for medical professionals and other essential workers at this time. We are allowing 72 hours between guests to facilitate cleaning and disinfecting - we are following CDC protocols for these, along with social distancing and hygiene. The room is a private, quiet bedroom and full bath suite on the downstairs level of a 2 story house. It is accessed by an electronic code, so no personal interaction is minimized.
You will be downstairs privately by yourself. Wifi is provided for easy connectivity. There is a large desk in the room, along with hangers, an ironing board and iron, a luggage rack and closet shelves, a mini fridge, a Keurig coffee maker with coffee and tea options, and a variety of snacks.
The house is located in the northwest area of Santa Rosa - close to Sutter and Kaiser hospitals, freeways, redwoods, wineries and breweries. The neighborhood is known locally as Coffey Park - much of the neighborhood burned to the ground in the wildfire of 2017 - fortunately, and with extreme gratitude for the firefighters, our home was spared. But much of the neighborhood is now in the rebuild stage, and it is interesting to drive through.

  • Jasen and Stephanie were so accommodating! I even booked late and then booked something wrong and they were so understanding. They are really open with their home and very nice people. I would totally recommend this place!

    Hailey2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jasen and Stephanie were the best. My husband had been in a horrible car accident and to be admitted to a local hospital 3hrs away from home. I reached out them and explained my situation. They were so caring right from that moment I reached out to them through the AirBNB. My first night I got there (late), they were still up. Most caring individuals, felt like was visiting family that I hadn’t seen in a long time. 💓

The room accommodates two easily and we will allow a third person with advance notice. Guests can have access to the backyard and garden. They can pick and eat anything they want from the garden. If they need to do laundry or need access to a full kitchen it can be arranged. We are very flexible with everything. We have lived here for 32 years and raised two children in this home. The neighbors on either side of our home have been here as long as us. We have a great neighborhood and love our neighbors. Once families move in to this area they hardly ever leave. There is only one way in and out of this housing plan and walking the Kelly Plan is a nice walk. Very safe area. The entrance can feel funky as it is named Industrial Avenue and there is a large industrial building straight ahead but you will be turning on the second street (Barbara) off of Industrial. These are older homes built in the late 40's and ranch style. Very quiet at night and some have said "too quiet"! You can walk to town (we think driving is the best though) because there is just one area that does not have a sidewalk so you have to be careful. We have walked many times from town our home - about two miles. Husband speaks German so all you Germans come on over so he can practice!

  • Nancy's AirBnB is our favorite--we stay there whenever we're in the area and it's available. Comfortable, clean, and cozy.

    Becky2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s space is absolutely wonderful. We truly loved her entire space. Not only was the space really nice, there was a cute welcome note just for me, which was a really kind touch. There’s a magnificent garden, great outdoor space for relaxing and connecting with the elements. There’s so much love and creativity in all the details and it shows. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean and the sleep number bed was pretty comfy. Downtown Sebastopol is less than a 5min drive and the beach is only 30mins away! Nancy was kind enough to show me around the property and I got inspired by what I saw and have decided to incorporate some of those things for my house back home. We will definitely be returning.

    Franchesca2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy is such a kind host. She gave me and my wife a quick tour, provided us suggestions for a place to eat, and offered us ride if needed. The place was perfect for the night we spent. Looking forward to coming back for a full weekend!

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s place is amazing for a lovely trip to the ocean or around Sebastopol. Clean and perfect for the weekend! Would come back again.

    Danny2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful. Nancy is so sweet and greeted us with a huge smile when we arrived. Her home was welcoming, clean, private and easy for the Uber to find. We stayed for one night and it was just what we were looking for. We will definitely come back to Nancy's house again next trip!

    Carmen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy is a wonderful host. She responded quickly with warmth and an obvious desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The space is quiet and private with cozy blankets, garden views, a nice hot shower (and heated fan in the bathroom!), extra towels, fresh coffee in the kitchen, and the place is so close to all the fun in Sebastopol and local wineries. Loved it.

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay! If I’m in the area again I will definitely be choosing Nancy’s place!

There’s coffee, tea, water, well equipped kitchen. Quiet street. Comfortable bed. Very clean new bed linen. Overall very nice experience.

Santa Rosa is close to wineries, parks, good restaurants, music. My home is about 1 mile from downtown, was built in 1906, has a small private room & bath, claw foot tub, NO SHOWER. No smokers please. Close to bus line, breweries and shops. Lovely area for walking. Pets under 20 lbs ok. I have 3 small friendly dogs who greet you.
Great part of Santa Rosa, close to downtown. Nice area of old homes, many older than mine which was built in 1906. I have tried to keep that old feel to the house and I want it to feel warm and friendly. Private room with large private bathroom but no shower, sorry.
My home is an Historic District with many older homes and trees. It a lovely area to just take a walk.
  • Fantastic place great location, amazing host. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again

    Gabriella2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Linda’s place is very charming! Her pups do bark a little when you first get in but that didn’t bother me at all. Very close to downtown in a cute neighborhood. The room is very small but perfect for one. There is a tub only but that wasn’t really a problem for me. Linda was very nice and made my stay easy. You can’t beat the price for a place to crash

Amy’s Local BNB is nestled among huge fir trees in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from downtown Sebastopol. This sunny contemporary gem focuses on our commitment to local and sustainably sourced food, wine, and crafts. With a full kitchen, you can enjoy the comforts of a meal cooked “at home” from the local farmer’s market, or walk to superb local eateries. We will share maps to our favorite swimming hole on the Russian River or to ocean beaches, or introduce you to excellent local vintners.
Amy's Local BNB is a completely separate studio on the third floor of our home in Sebastopol. You enter via a private exterior staircase into this newly renovated space with high ceilings and wonderful views of old growth fir trees and the valley and hills beyond. As a professional contractor and interior architect, we have taken great pride in the quality of the design and construction. The full kitchen has top quality appliances, and we have included a full complement of cooking and serving wares. There is a queen bed (100% latex mattress) and a washer/dryer. You will have super fast fiber optic WiFi and a Netflix account to use. (No cable or local TV stations). There is a hot tub and a private back patio with a gas grill available for guests from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Coffee or tea, with organic additives of your choice, and fresh home-baked gluten-free pastries are complimentary each morning. As an extra service, we can provide full breakfasts and/or picnic basket lunches, or fresh eggs from the girls in the backyard. We are in the process of transforming the back yard into a permaculture micro-farm. We have installed large rainwater storage tanks that provide irrigation water for the fruit and vegetable gardens, and a seasonal swale, with native plants, that soaks water into the ground. We are creating a full-circle ecosystem with kitchen scraps feeding the chickens, to compost, to gardens, and back to the kitchens. Come be part of our nourishing circle. We just remodeled our shower and it is gorgeous! Marble tile from floor to ceiling for a luxurious experience.
We live on top of a hill surrounded by Douglas firs in a residential neighborhood overlooking the Laguna de Santa Rosa. We are a few blocks from Main Street with shopping and restaurants.
  • Great tree top perch with gorgeous views and stylish decor. Such a magical little spot!

  • This unit was beyond my expectations. I usually only stay in places listed as "Entire Place", this was my first time staying in someone's home. Her home was beautiful and elegant. My space felt very private and I had all the autonomy I could want. It felt more like renting an apartment in a beautiful building in San Francisco. The location is also incredible. Just three blocks away from downtown. I walked to several music venues, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, Whole Foods Market, and sweet shopping locations. Safeway is also very close. The pictures on the website did not do it justice. The space felt like walking into an interior decorating magazine. Karen, my host, was very kind and thoughtful. I stayed for my birthday weekend and she even put a sweet birthday cupcake in the room!! I almost died of gratitude when I saw that. There were fresh tulips on the table and bundles of dried lavender! The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were primo. There were so many thoughtful extra touches- too many to name. There was a white noise machine making gentle ocean sounds when I arrived. While there was not a kitchen, there was a coffee maker, a small fridge, and an ample cabinet full of all the things you would need for breakfast (including actual breakfast foods and snacks), enjoying tea, and drinking wine. She really thought of everything I could need. The clawfoot bathtub was everything I could hope for (it was the main reason that I booked this place). She even included bath salts, bubble bath, exquisite toiletries, soft soft towels, and a bath robe! This was deluxe. It was an incredible value. I LOVED it. If she will have me back, I will book this place over and over. Thank you, Karen! I appreciate you and what you do.

    Trina2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s space is amazing. The little touches she adds are just fantastic. The location was a perfect walk to the downtown area but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful when we didn’t want to be “in the action”. I highly recommend booking this space for your next trip to the Russian River Valley

    Will2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most peaceful, lovely stay here. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. There was a great selection of teas, a noise machine, fresh flowers on the table, and (bonus) great smelling bathroom products. The bathtub was also divine. We didn’t meet Karen in person but she was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. Location is great too. Definitely recommend!

  • I had a great couple nights in Karen's room. If you're hesitant about booking a private room (instead of an entire place) don't be ... there's lots of privacy here. Karen's thought through all the little details, and you're an easy walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown Sebastopol. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Neysa's place was very clean and in a great location. I highly recommend it.

    Lindsay2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to find, simple check in and very thoughtful touches made our stay at Neysa's stylish and comfortable first floor "master suite" with private exterior entrance perfect for our family visit. We appreciated the electric kettle for tea and french press coffee (some supplied) and the oatmeal, fruit and other snacks, drinks and treats left in the mini fridge. The shower was bright and roomy and the heated bathroom floor a treat for the feet! I would have preferred a solid door for the bathroom (there is a gauzy curtain adding to the airy bright feel of the space), but it was not a great issue for us.

    Monica2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay for one or two people. Quite street very clean and nice snacks, mini fridge was thoughtful. I would return here on future visits

    Rolf2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place with a great host. The best bed I’ve slept in during the 6+ AirBnb journey I’m on. Clean, spacious, good vibe, nice house, nice neighborhood, all the good stuff about this place. If only I could bring the experience to all the locations I’m hitting. :-) Thanks!

    Christopher2019-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • I have been travelling for many years but have rarely been wowed and utterly surprised like this! Neysa’s separate room and bathroom are so comfortable, luxurious and quiet that I felt the strong need to return in future. It is rare to have a host thinking about all the little details and adding so many warm and kind touches to a place to make a traveller feel utterly welcome. I was working on a series of interviews and under pressure, so the breakfast provided in the room (proper fridge!) was just perfect and exactly what I needed during those two mornings. Well done! Exceptional!

    Ulli2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, spacious private room very close to downtown. Highly recommended!

    Dean2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very spacious and clean! Since the room has it’s own entrance, my girlfriend and I felt like we had adequate space and privacy despite the room being attached to the main house. We were very appreciative of Neysa being accommodative during the Kincade Fire. She frequently kept us updated with the news and provided flashlights during the power outages. Neysa went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay :)

  • Barbara was an great host! She responded quickly to my emails and offered great suggestions for places in the area. The in-law suite was just lovely! As cozy and comfortable as can be!!Infact, I wish I could have taken the bed and pillows home with me. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! All the wonderful touches, like a mini champagne, coffee/tea, the robes and slippers..I felt like I was at a hotel but surrounded by the comforts of home! They have a lovely back yard area with a fire pit that sadly we couldn’t enjoy because of the weather...but we will definitely be back. Great shops and restaurants in Sebastapol in the Barstow and if you choose not to drive, we got a Lyft into town and its about a 15-20 mn ride. Just note that it also took the lyft about 20 minutes to reach the house, so plan ahead. All around cozy, comfortable, quiet and relaxing stay! Thank you Barbara and hope to book with you again soon!!

Can imagine it being lovely in the summertime with the large back courtyard and fire pit right outside the door. Everything was clean and the coffee, tea and champagne were lovely touches! Would definitely stay again.

Free-standing guest room on our property; includes use of main house kitchen, washer/dryer, pool, and private bathroom (located across courtyard, in the main house). Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens (including convenient rooster-alarm to help you get out of bed early in the morning) 2 bicycles available for local touring. We provide home-roasted coffee to brighten your day. This is the real Sebastopol experience that will leave you with money left-over to buy beads, tie-dies, & incense!
Sweet, private unit with a beautiful, platform, double futon bed. Antique dresser, a desk, a cozy wool rug and books galore! Please note: The bathroom is not attached to this unit. Used exclusively for guests, it is located 50 ft. across the courtyard in the main house.
Tucked back behind the little strawberry stand on highway 12, our neighborhood is quiet. People mostly walk their dogs and say hello.
  • This is a true gem if you want to stay in Sebastopol. The location is great, the room is cozy with lovely touches, full bookshelf, coffee nook, eclectic decor and the bed is really comfy. I appreciated the outside water feature, too. It was a great experience and I'll definitely return!

  • Cute backyard cottage. It was fun to stay at a place with chickens. Easy parking and super close to lots of great dog friendly wineries. The bathroom is in the main house but there is a light at night to help you get to the door. Super nice family and great hosts. Highly recommend for a fun weekend getaway.

  • Beautiful, charming house and very welcoming hosts! The space is charming and has everything you need, and nothing you don't. 5 minutes from the middle of Sebastopol, but you'd be forgiven if you just wanted to sit in the cottage and read all day.

Private bedroom with en suite bath in a beautiful Victorian farmhouse just steps away from downtown. Price includes 12% tax. As the average annual high for Santa Rosa is ~71F there is no AC, however the room has a fan.
We have a comfy tempurpedic-style queen sized bed and a rollaway single bed.
We are walking distance to both of the downtown districts and the Russian River Brewing Company.
  • Look no further! This is the best Airbnb experience you will ever have. Krissie's place is sparkling clean, and she's extremely kind and welcoming. She is also very helpful in recommending different places to visit. Wonderful experience!!!

  • Krissie is an AMAZING host! My boyfriend and I were in town only for the weekend and she made our stay feel like home!!!! Before we left she also gave us such a sweet gift!!!! I am 100% sure that you will have a great stay at her place!

    Laís2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find! Our room was super comfortable, bed was cozy. Private bathroom was so nice to have! Host allows use of kitchen which we didn’t need except to microwave and get a few ice cubes. Parking on the street in front of the house is limited to 2 hours except for local residents but Krissie had a pass available which she trusted us to use and return to her. Check in and out is smooth and easy. Location is fabulous, we walked to shopping and dining easily. My husband wanted to add his thoughts “Friendly, thoughtful, warm host with a cozy inviting space.” We would definitely like to stay here again!!

  • I cannot recommend Richard enough. He gave me a partial refund due to my stay being cut short from COVID-19, even though he was under no obligation to do so. Also, the space is very reasonably priced for Sonoma County and is clean and sufficient and in a good location. Richard is a nice person and a great host. I would love to have the opportunity to stay with him again and hope to have the chance at some point.

  • Great B&B in Sonoma Co. Superhost so friendly, informative & helpful. B&B is so comfy, quiet & peace ful. Very clean & sterile, so greatly appreciative of their attention to details like that in this very difficult & somewhat "scary" time. Anyone traveling should be very confident in choosing Carolyns' Place to stay in Sonoma Co. Great location.

Remodeled, cute & quiet. We give you your privacy. No security deposit. Fresh herbs, grapes & Gravenstein apples outside your door. Walking distance to Andy's produce, Roasters Coffee and the Joe Rodota trail (15 min walk) which leads directly to downtown Sebastopol & the Barlow. The location is perfect! It's close to Summerfield Waldorf & the SR Golf & Country Club. The guesthouse is private & to the rear of the house and faces an open lawn & garden area. Set just off Hwy 116 on a private lane.
Great patio outside great for sipping morning coffee or evening wine. Nice screened door leads to roomy hallway and open kitchen/living area. Most everything provided CABLE & WIFI, fluffy towels, fuzzy robes, shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. Large bathroom with all the amenities. Kitchen with lots of storage space...utensils, pots and pans, cookie sheets, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kitchen staples etc. Washer/Dryer.. COZY and COMFY...Did I mention that this is the perfect location!
The neighborhood is quiet. It's in the country, but there are a few houses around. There are squirrels, turkeys, foxes, dogs, chickens and some night wildlife. Off Hwy 116 off a little lane all the way to the end. Very touristy area on the Hwy 116 corridor. Close to Merryhill Winery, Dutton-Goldfield tasting room, Mom's Apple Pie, the town of Graton, Willowood Restaurant, Kozlowski Farms, Andy's Produce Stand and Market. Korbel Winery and the Russian River is about 7-10 minutes away. Because of the fires in Sonoma County, we are currently storing couple of vehicles for family and friends.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was easy to find and a great location for all of my needs for my visit. The room was very well supplied with everything I needed like towels and toiletries. I loved having a washer and dryer. The rental and the property it is on are private, beautiful and very well maintained. I would love to come back again whenever there is availability.

  • This place was magical. It truly was a wonderful experience. The place is perfect for a quick weekend getaway to chill and hang with family. Kid friendly for sure. Kids can ran around and play while adults can sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Eden was a great host. Easy to communicate with. The place is full of activities to do. Games and more. Eden was nice enough to send me all recommended places to visit. The place is for sure 1 of the best experience we've had through air bnb. Highly recommend Kamp Casa.

    Gerjel2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a unique and wonderful place for a big or small group. Kitchen has everything you can imagine. A great outdoor space. Has so much for both adults and kids. Has an outdoor hot tub, game room, bbq grill, swings, a big fire pit and so much more. They provide information about things you can do locally. Had a very nice experience spending a weekend with friends. The only points to note (which weren’t an issue for us) that might be good to know: the place has a lot of stuff so it is not toddler friendly, and there are no window treatments throughout the home, including bathrooms. But lovely place to spend a relaxing weekend! Will go back if I get a chance.

    Kanupriya2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Camp Kasa! The space was perfect for our group of 10 and Eden was a great host - very responsive and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer!

  • We were planning a Labor Day Russian River trip about 2 months ago and needed a place for 24 friends. Eden & Scott's place popped up on Airbnb and it was perfect of all of us. From the beginning of the booking process, they were so accommodating as my group grew from 16 to 24. The main house slept 17 comfortably and the 4 glamping tents housed the other 7. Eden responded quickly to all my requests and made me feel very comfortable as I was asking her plenty of questions before the trip. The entire lot is spacious and great for large groups. My friends and I used the BBQ, the game room, the trampoline, hot tub, campfire, and ping pong table. All 24 people had a comfortable place to sleep with beds rolled out around the living room and bedrooms. I personally slept in the tent and loved how spacious + comfortable it was! All 4 tents had a soft, lush carpet that covers the entire floor area. My buddy is 6'5" and he could stand comfortably inside so there's definitely plenty of room. There's a Queen size bed in each tent with plenty of blankets + comforters to keep you warm. Eden provided us with lamps inside and outside of the tent area to light up the walkway to head back to main house for restrooms. Being from the city of SF, it was nice to fall asleep to the outdoor noises and wake up naturally to sunlight. The drive to Steelhead Beach was about 20 minutes away. We did have 6 cars there and there was plenty or parking spots at the front of the lot. My entire friend group kept thanking me for finding this gem. I'm so grateful that this weekend worked out exactly the way we all wanted to. Fantastic experience at the house + great time at the river. We couldn't have asked for more and will definitely think of Eden & Scott for future trips to Sebastopol.

    Jack2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Eden & Scott were great hosts! Our group very much enjoyed the property and all the fun amenities that came with it. Saturday morning we taxied to Russian River which was just about 20 minutes away to float for a few hours then came back to play bocce ball and horseshoes. I would definitely recommend this spot to others if you’re in the Sebastopol area!

  • This cabin was cute and cozy. The electric blanket was a nice touch and Lee checked in with us regularly. A good bargain in a nice area.

  • This is a great spot! Perfect, if like me, you want to get away from the city and spend some time reading, writing, etc. And of course, there's plenty to do nearby - hiking, wine tasting, canoeing, and more.

  • This was a place if you wanted to be away from it all but have everything at your finger tips this is your place. It was relaxing.

  • Lee was super responsive and personable. We put in a last minute, same day request and he jumped right on it and made sure we had everything we needed.

Note: All surfaces are thoroughly disinfected, including remotes, window sills, door knobs, wooden furniture. Part of a larger home, Lil's Garden Place has a private entry to a lovely room, private bath and private patio. Off-street parking and a garden on the other side of the house are available for guests' enjoyment. Excellent restaurants and wine-tasting rooms are three blocks away. Touring the wine country is super easy from Lil's. Lil's Garden Place is solar powered.
Solar powered since January 2005, Lil's Garden Place is cozy with extra insulation in the walls and attic, double-paned windows and hot-water-on-demand. Lil's Garden Place has a private, independent entrance with a dining table on the patio outside, and a table for dining or a laptop inside. The room is well appointed and comfortably large. Lil's lush garden has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle and the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.
    * Graton is a sweet community of unique characters and artists. Always featured in the twice yearly artist open studios tours, it is a rest stop on the bike trail which leads north to Forestville and south to Sebastopol. * If you're traveling with friends and need an extra bed, we are located next door to "Arroyo-Chico Guest Suite". Highly recommended.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was such a comfortable little suite with perfect amenities for a weekend getaway. The corner table by the windows was such a nice touch. I spent a lot of time sitting there. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the shower. Thank you HolLyn for such a nice and peaceful place to stay.

  • Great place! Garden is amazing and in a very quiet area. You can see the stars from outside. The place itself is small but very very nice. You can hear the neighbors in the morning- so wouldnt reccomend it if you're looking for 'total' privacy or if you are loud. Would definitely come back!

  • Expect a simply lovely space. You'll find a cozy and comfortable room, well equipped kitchen nook, stylish bathroom, and reminders of nature's beauty everywhere you look, inside and out. The garden and outdoor seating are inviting, and there's an urban trail nearby. Enjoy!

  • Everything was as good as described. Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful setting, gardens were awesome and everything was better than expected. Will stay here again.

  • HolLynn’s garden room accommodation is full of thoughtful and artful touches. The room and private bath are cheerful and cozy. The private suite is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood in charming Graton.

  • HolLynn’s place is beautiful and cozy and everything was as advertised:))

    Ponni2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay at HolLynn’s place. Excellent and cosy as always.

  • You will definitely love Lil's "secret garden" spot. It's a cute little, quaint and stylish place. Very private and quiet—perfect for a getaway. Although there's not much to do in Graton, it's conveniently located to get to quite a few great places: the Russian River, Jenner, Goat Rock State Beach, Bodega Bay, Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and Sebastapol to name just a few! While you're in Graton, the Willow Wood Market Cafe serves up an wonderful breakfast. My wife and I also enjoyed poking around in the little antique shop nearby. Both are a short walk from Lil's Garden. Lil's prompt and detailed communication was also greatly appreciated. We highly recommend her place to others!

If you are looking for a quiet non smoking, relaxing retreat that is centrally located to all that Sonoma County can offer, then the Pumpalow is for you. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, cyclist and business travelers. It's a stand-alone building with a cozy bedroom/living space (w/HDTV & WiFi). A nicely private bathroom and patio area. It sits on 10 acres in the beautiful countryside south of. Your nearest neighbors are some docile cows and a variety of wild birds.
The room has a queen size bed, with a down feather comforter. A refrigerator, toaster and a coffee maker are provided, with a variety of teas, coffee and bottled water. The bedding and towels are washed with Clorox, and a Scented Laundry Soap. The pillow cases are ironed with a Light Scented Starch. The room is cleaned with Clorox, Windex and the furniture is polished with a Lemon Scent Oil. The products used in the room are also used throughout our home.
Our neighborhood is very quiet, as you are coming up our driveway you will see cows on our property they belong to a dairy across Hwy 116. The cows are brought to us when the calves have been weaned off their mothers and they stay here for six to nine months. To the left the brown house it's a working little ranch they raise pigs and have a vegetable garden run by an organization who teach mentally challenged people to become independent, they work, grow and sell the vegetables and pigs. They put a sign out when they have vegetables to sell, if your interested you can buy from them. Further up their driveway the grey house they boarder horses and train them. Across from our home on the corner of Hessel and Henning our neighbors there, they rescue animals, they have a llama, miniature pony, two donkeys, pigs, ducks and dogs and cats. At times we go down to give the animals carrots. So feel free to check out them out. The animals like visitors.
  • Jenny's place was the perfect getaway for me and my boyfriend. It was quaint and had all the amenities we could need for the weekend. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful, with lots of cute animals. We particularly liked how it was a midpoint between Petaluma, Sebastopol, and Santa Rosa. Thanks so much!

    Katherine2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny’s space is SO beautiful, and the property is so quiet and peaceful. The cows are adorable and Jenny has MANY recommendations for things to do or places to eat (Korbel and Gypsy were our personal faves)! I would have loved to stay longer and will 100% be looking to stay here again if work brings me back this way!

    Ashley2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Such a nice quiet place to stay. Not huge but it had great matress, plenty of covers, frig/microwave, place to sit inside and out. The yard is really pretty. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the patio and property.

  • A better place for a stay can’t be found! Biking the back roads was lovely but don’t trust google maps - get the local scoop!

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome. Our 1st Air BnB experience and I could not have hoped for anything more. Private, clean, beautiful grounds, great location. Forget hotels. Can't wait to stay again.

    Andrea2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay. Everything was as advertised. Great location, just off a major road. Easy access to downtown. Nice grounds, wireless and cable TV worked great! Nice touches in the bungalow. Comfy bed.

  • The Pumpalow was absolutely perfect. Immaculate, comfortable, and quiet. The location in Sonoma County was really convenient to our activities, and Jenny and Len were just the kindest most gracious hosts. Highly recommend!

    Patti2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny and Len were spectacular hosts. A cozy, pristine studio, with an ultra comfy bed, garden ornament and wonderful bird feeders in the surrounding yard. Easy access and commute to Petaluma. A wonderful space for the price.
