Such a gem. Genuinely one of the most beautiful homes I've ever visited. I came as a solo traveler hoping to get some writing and research done, and this was the perfect spot. Quiet, tranquil, beautiful inside and out. And Steve and Susan are such nice and interesting people! Truly a refreshing retreat. Can't wait to return.

Susan and Stephen made me feel right at home. Everything was so clean and had a well curated eclectic vibe. The house was a perfect drive to the plaza and the home was neatly tucked away, quiet and quaint. I was able to sit and chat in the meditation room with Steve with some tea before my departure. The bed was very comfortable and the plants and sunshine were the perfect touch on a winters day.

We enjoyed our stay - nice location. Could walk to restaurants and bike/walking trail. Easy check in and responsive host. Would stay here again.

This place was amazing. So close to all of the fun stuff in Santa Fe like Meow Wolf and bars and shops but also out in the beautiful, scenic desert. I could have stayed forever. Super well stocked shower with hot water and wonderful amenities. Cozy beds, blankets, and couches to snuggle up with. I really appreciated that! Kitchen and was well stocked with a lot of appliances and condiments, and everything was super clean. Cute fenced in yard offered an amazing sunset view and was great for the dogs to roam around in. Would stay here again, again, and again. Thank you!

A gorgeous place! The bed was also super comfy! It is a 10 minute drive to meow wolf and about 15-20 min from downtown.

Amazing little spot! The bedroom fire place (Kiva) was cozy and relaxing. Perfect fenced yard for our dogs. It was sparkling clean and a perfect stay. Can’t wait to come back 💜

It's a nice cozy place. The fireplace is a really nice touch. It's a quick walk to Canyon Road and about 1.5 mile to downtown. I would stay again if I ever need to find a place in Santa Fe.

Christine’s place is very sweet. Would loved to have used the fireplace (it snowed while I was there) but allergies didn’t permit. Great location - walking distance to funky Canyon Road. Would love to return and see more of the area surrounding Santa Fe, and will give myself more time.

Tucked away in the back of a house, this quite private feeling studio is only about a mile from downtown and Christina will provide everything you need. Would stay again

This place was awesome! Cute and cozy. We saw the previous reviews and I can say we experienced only the best time during our stay here. No complaints here, only gratitude.

Lovely and stylish. The fireplace and patio are beautiful. We didn’t have any issues with heating- it snowed overnight and it was nice and warm inside. A beautiful skylight over the bed too.

Christina’s place is in an older historic part of Santa Fe among adobe compounds and winding streets. The room is warm and inviting, and while attached to the main house, there is a private entrance, and the room is very quiet. Unlike a previous review, I note there was plenty of heat, as well as a functioning fireplace. The place is an easy 5 minute Uber ride to downtown. This is my second stay here, and when I come to Santa Fe again this will be my first choice.

We had a lovely overnight at Christina's place in Santa Fe. The house was in a really charming neighborhood, and within walking distance to old town. The space was private and elegant and the bed was nice and comfy. Thank you!!

Our stay with Christina as simply wonderful! When we arrived, Christina had a fire prepared and extra firewood which we used for the rest of our stay! The room was filled with beautiful Santa Fe atmosphere and within walking and driving distance to some of the best places to eat in the city. Christina’s suggestions of areas to try out turned out to be better than expected and made our visit wonderful. Taking relaxing walks around the neighborhood or drives to visit many of the attractions that the Santa Fe area has to offer, it was always good to get back to Christina’s which seemed like home.

We signed up at the last minute and Liz was very accommodating! The place is very comfortable and lots of nice touches. We also enjoyed the Tune Up Cafe just around the corner. I highly recommend liz’s place.

This is a beautiful place in a convenient neighborhood, with a full kitchen, charming decor, and a comfortable bed. Current newspaper was left, and it’s so great to have a dining and living area. There’s a little confusion about how to lock the door when you leave. Be sure to read the manual.

Such a cute place! Very close to everything. Great extras like lotion, hair products (I had forgotten mine!), tea and a couple different kinds of coffee! Was greeted by the cutest kitty, Sam. Also very nicely decorated and a great selection of reading materials.

I only stayed one night as I was passing through Santa Fe on a road trip, but Alicia's place was very comfortable and had everything I might want for a night!

This was my first AirBnB experience and I could not have chosen a better place than Alicia's. Extremely cleanly and hospitable. If you're looking for a location close to downtown Santa Fe you will not be disappointed staying here.

The Santa Fe hostel is the perfect place for anyone needing an economical stopover in, or retreat to, Santa Fe. The private room was just as expected. The requisite chores build solidarity and keep u interacting with the environs in a stimulating way. Whether u have chosen Santa Fe as a place of rest of play, u can be assured this is the best place to stay for the money. In case you haven't heard, Whole Foods donates load and a half of food to this place. In the massive commercial fridge there were like 10 pounds of fresh guacamole, all sorts of fancy nut milk and vegan products, the delicious Siggi's skyr, and tons of fresh veggies, fruits, sandwiches from the ready made department, snacks, just anything rlly. A vast array of spices and cooking utensils in the commercial style kitchen with two professional grade 4 burner gas stoves and ovens and a massive vent fan overhead. Everyone was helpful and kind. I definitely hope to return.

What a wonderful community. The SFIH has everything you need to make a home base in Santa Fe. The accommodations are basic and clean. The staff is lovely and the free food is a fabulous bonus!!

I loved being a part of this community for three days. Wonderful place, warm friendly people. Clean accommodations. It was fun to look in the fridge area every morning to see what new things had come in from Whole Foods.

Bus stop right outside - bus no 2 goes right to the plaza. On Saturday and Sunday first bus is 830 am. Then every half hour. Better on weekdays. If you call the number on the bus stop sign they will answer and help you! Counter Culture is a restaurant right 3 blocks away. Train stop is close and bus no 2 picks up there and drops you off right across the street from the hostel. $1.00 fare or $2.00 all day.

Loved staying here! The staff was super friendly and gave some great suggestions for local food, and places to visit. The free kitchen is a plus if you are doing budget friendly travel, and the chores are easy and quick! I would definitely stay again!

My stay with Chris was fantastic! His home has wonderful decor and a great ambience. Evefything from the bedrooms, to the kitchen, to the bathroom was spotless! The sun room was very comfortable and much roomier than the picture suggests. The location was great (very central to food, drink, and attractions). I will certainly stay again if I am in town.

Exactly as described, the sunroom is a small, beautiful room with a comfortable bed, a down quilt, and a sense of sleeping in the manzanitas among stars and moon at night, waking to sunshine. Christopher is an excellent host, calm and good natured. It's a gorgeous house, both in Santa Fe style and European feel. The room can be cold at night (there's a good little space heater) and hot in the day, so it's best if you love natural surroundings.

This cottage is a gem!!!!! It is perfectly located...walking distance from canyon road, and from the plaza. We didn’t use our car once in the three days we visited. Also, Bernadette was outstanding!!!! The cottage was very spacious and clean, and even supplied with shampoos and soaps! There was coffee...creamer, milk , eggs etc. in the refrigerator for a quick breakfast! Such an amazing touch! There is even a grill on the front porch. Bernadette is the best AirBnb host we’ve ever had! Thank you Bernadette!!!!! We will most definitely recommend this cottage to our friends, and come back here next time we are in town!!

This was our second stay at Bernadette’s cottage and I will plan on staying here again when we return to Santa Fe. It has absolutely everything you would need for two people. She thought of everything beforehand, accommodated my needs on a special case with a birthday I was throwing, the place was impeccable and she was super friendly! Great internet, cute place with everything you need (even things like creamer, tea and coffee, and fresh flowers as a courtesy :) :) The location made it easy to get around on buses, and was within walking distance of amazing food and breweries. Can't recommend enough!

Cozy doesn't even begin to describe this charming, comfortable casita. Very convenient both to downtown and Cerrillos Road. Virginia is a gracious and welcoming host and the casita is private and quiet.

The entrance is inauspicious, but once inside this place is wonderfully cozy. Comfortable living area with TV with many Apps. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Good location near the Railway Yard with galleries, cinema and restaurants. Santa Fe Plaza easy 10 minutes drive. All in all a wonderful place to explore Santa Fe from.

The Casita is a wonderful respite from sound, located in a very quiet neighborhood area just a 5 minute walk to a small park. The amenities were appreciated (shampoo, soap, small amounts of coffee, sugar, books, local magazines). We found it easy to navigate from the Casita to the downtown area, nearby grocery stores, and ski area. I highly recommend this space if you don't need a lot of room, want peace and quiet, enjoy simple pleasures, and lovely artwork.

Beautiful spot! It was clean, decorated so beautiful with that Santa Fe charm, and was the perfect size for my husband and I. We loved how close it was to MeowWolf and the incredible Tune-up Cafe. They provided great amenities like coffee/emergencies, laundry capabilities, a book with great suggestions on what to do while in town and a comfy bed. Meet the host when we first got in and you can tell Javier really cares about the property and those staying! You will not be disappointed!

It's all about location when traveling. Elena's place was close enough to the action, dining- massage therapy. I parked my car, in a designated off street parking spot, and didn't use my car during my stay. Uber so ya dont have to deal with parking, 7 bucks. The place is very cool. Bed is comfortable. Radiant heat and Adobe walls kept me toasty when it was 15 degrees outside. Good for one or two light travelers.

The casita is a lovely space. Elena was very responsive and communicative, and check-in was easy and flexible. I was only there for one night but I would love to return and stay for a few days!

Elena's place was just perfect for the two of us who were in Santa Fe for a quick overnight trip. We traveled from Albuquerque and took the train up - this spot is just a ten minute walk from where the train drops you off, which was perfect! The photos don't do this cute lil' historic adobe casita justice. The space is larger than it looks and the homey decor makes the spot feel cozy. When we travel to Santa Fe in the future, we'd love to stay here again.

Cozy while still being spacious, easy check in, great communication... and MOST comfortable bed we’ve experienced all road trip!—Dangerously so— we slept in an hour past alarms ;) Super close to old town and all amenities; highly recommend breakfast at Tune Up cafe. Rahmaneh's home is truly a meaningful experience. It's clean, comfortable and convenient for anyone passing through. The grounds have beautiful views and trails and goats. If you're looking for a mindful retreat, this is the perfect spot. Rahmaneh is kind and wise. I cannot think of a better host.

Rahmaneh space is a very special place with a very special woman. My boyfriend and I loved making hot tea that was provided in the morning and enjoying the sun come up on the loft upstairs. We truly enjoyed staying with Rahmaneh and talking to her.

Eclectic vibe and warm yet down to earth. We were given a warm welcome and even a yoga class to relieve my back pain. Rahmaneh herself was thoughtful and kind, she gave us our space as if we were part of the family. My daughter enjoyed sleeping at the loft.

Rahmaneh was very calm, kind, and open. She was also a great communicator. The place was exactly as described and my stay definitely added to my Santa Fe experience. I also enjoyed the quiet solitude of being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and being out in the beauty of nature. I definitely left feeling more grounded and centered.

Had a fantastic time staying at Rahmenah's! I was cozy and comfortable in the space, despite frigid temps in Santa Fe (11 degrees!), and it was so quiet and calm on the property. Felt good to see stars at night. Made a lot of use of the electric kettle, there was a mini fridge in the room but i left this unplugged and just used the main fridge in the kitchen for a few provisions. Piping hot showers were heated by solar power, so I opted to shower in evenings to make sure I got the best temperature water. Rahmenah keeps an early schedule and asks guests to be mindful of noise in the evenings, and to practice recycling/compost with waste materials -- easy to do as all bins are labeled, and the AirBnB space has a private parking space and entry. Next time I'm in Santa Fe, I hope to stay here -- highly recommend!

Heather's description of her tiny house and the property around it is really accurate. The house itself is beautifully and lovingly created. I loved staying here. I loved the warm walls, and the sound of the pond (and the doves in the morning). My partner made coffee on the outdoor stove every morning, which was so cool. A calm and nourishing space to come home to after walking around Santa Fe all day. I would happily stay again.

Heather place is a small but really comfy place to stay. The bathtub is really pretty and you can feel warm and cozy on your staying. The place is really intimate, you are practically on the same room for shower, restroom and bed. One thing I don’t really like is the WiFi signal is weak because the router is on the house next to the room. Overall is a pretty small intimate place.

This spot is *tiny*-- I missed having some kind of little table to sit at-- but the bathtub more than makes up for it, and I loved being just down the block from the spiritual center where I was studying. Heather was very kind and it was easy to come and go from her place as necessary without too much attention. I also appreciated the availability of snacks, which got me out of a jam more than once!

Sarah's spot was great! Far enough away from the city center to provide a retreat-like atmosphere, close enough that it was easy to adventure during the day. Driving to and from was even enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time staying at El Burro! It was such a sweet escape from the chaos of daily life. Sarah was incredibly responsive from the time we booked our stay through the time we left. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the space, the beautiful view, and the HEATED FLOORS!

The guest house is amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better location. The views are spectacular. Also, the porch is quite large and fully enclosed.

Sarah provided excellent directions so that we were able to find her place in the dark. The setting feels remote from town whilst still being easily accessible. We enjoyed the underfloor heating and cosy loft sleeping area, but be prepared for the climb! Space was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of literature on local places to visit.

El Burro was the perfect launching point for all our Santa Fe adventures. The space was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the heated floors and kitchen amenities. Highly recommend!

Very quiet and clean small kitchenette apt. with small courtyard just south of St. Francis Drive in SF. I am an active 62 year old and had no problems WALKING to town in under 15 min. plus there is a city bus stop nearby for peanuts to ride. All day pass for $1 ! Apartment size fridge , living room, bed area and bath w shower plus (my favorite) a small and eclectic library and radio for local info on dial. Very pleased and planning on return.

I had a good experience at this apt. I could walk to Plaza without any problem (15 min.) or just take the nearby bus for 50 cents (I'm 62) . Very quiet / clean with other very close apartments next door. The small kitchen/living room served me right as I cook. Local small grocery nearby plus the "Tune Up cafe" for mornings you would rather go for eggs. I particularly enjoyed the small library.

Great location and well as super amazing hosts. They go above an beyond for their guest. I work in the hospitality industry and I could say this has been a great easy stay. Nice, cozy and clean. Most important to me and my husband is that they accept pets.

Liz’s place is located in a wonderful neighborhood walking distance from amazing museums, restaurants, and historic sites. The studio is super clean and cozy and we especially enjoyed cooking with the provided amenities. Liz is responsive and flexible and she made for an easy and relaxing trip to Santa Fe!

The apartment is spacious and well appointed with very clear directions for getting in. I enjoyed having a table that could double for a light meal or for computer use. The neighborhood is fun and walkable. I found the fold down bed to be more comfortable than I expected for a no traditional bed. Luz is a thoughtful and available host. I’d recommend this apartment to others.

Liz' home is so cozy and convenient and absolutely wonderful for a couple visiting Santa Fe. Little touches made the evening extra special and even booking last minute on a Saturday afternoon for a stay that same night was quickly accommodated - highly recommended!

We loved our stay! The location was close to all the old town locations and on a quiet street. The private yard was perfect for our Golden Retriever. Liz’s restaurant recommendation were “right on” - Tune-Up Cafe and Cowgirl. And the bottle of wine when we arrived was a treat after a long ride.

Sarah's Casita is very comfortable, clean, easy to find, conveniently located in Santa Fe. I really enjoyed my two days there while visiting my daughter and her new baby. A great place for one or two people. I'll definitely look this place up next time I visit Santa Fe!

The cold water is cold. The hot water is hot. The bed is super comfy. There were 4 pillows on the bed all a bit different to suit different preferences. (The pillows are usually an issue for me at hotels, but not here! :)) There was an extra comforter in the closet which I needed as it was in the teens/20s at night. There was also a mobile heater in the closet i did not use. For the most part it was very quiet except in the morning I could hear dogs barking. Nothing some earplugs couldn't remedy. All in all this was a great stay!!

The cutest house, comfy beds, fantastic location near Santa Fe plaza. The house has well stocked kitchen and all the amenities. Walk downtown, walk to Canyon road galleries, walk to the Georgia O’Keefe museum and walk to great restaurants and bars. Responsive hosts. A great place to stay!

This casita is the very best Airbandb that I have experienced. It is so beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. There are plenty of towels, plenty of blankets, plenty of dishes and glasses, in fact plenty of EVERYTHING that you could possibly need. Obviously a lot of thought and care has gone into the furnishings, it’s very much in the style of traditional Santa Fe. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped. Breakfast is included, you’ll be amazed when you open the refrigerator and see what Bernadette has provided. It’s a great location, an easy walk from the Plaza. There’s even a dishwasher and washer/dryer. This has got to be the best bargain in Santa Fe!

A simple, cozy space situated perfectly for all your Santa Fe plans. Just enjoyed a lovely mid-winter stay with two friends. The co-op, top restaurants like Paper Dosa, the Plaza, Canyon Road, and hiking (Atalaya) are all within 5-10 minute drive. Dennis was a wonderful, accessible, and responsive host. Questions and requests were answered quickly by text. The kitchen and living spaces were excellent for cooking (Alison Roman recipes from NY Times), catching up (over whiskey), and dancing to Lizzo (we brought our own speaker). We were pleasantly surprised by the natural light in the afternoons.

Cozy place for 1 or2 in Santa Fe. Close to all things and easy driving around. Streets are dark but close to lots of things in SF.

Dennis and Inga's casita was perfect for our week-long stay in town. It was perfectly located to really great restaurants. I definitely recommend taking the quick walk to Tune Up Cafe for breakfast. We were minutes from the plaza and Meow Wolf. The casita was cozy and felt just like home. The heater in the larger of the two rooms does make quite a bit of noise so if you're a light sleep like me, definitely bring ear plugs or turn the heater off. We had the heater turned off after the first night and still slept comfortably as heat stays in the casita really well. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit!

As it is very well known, hostels are communal spaces. Expect shared bathrooms, kitchen, and leisure spaces outside. However, as it is the nature in Santa Fe, everyone is so nice and welcoming and has their own travel stories to share. There was a mix crowd of races, ages, and backgrounds that was a pretty good reflection of the best of humanity. As a frequent traveler to Santa Fe, I was not able to stay with friends last minute but had always driven past the hostel. I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again.

This is a slightly quirky old-time hostel (that is, a simple morning chore is required) with VAST quantities of leftover food (a great variety of groceries including baked goods) provided by Whole Foods (I believe).

This beautiful two bedroom home is wonderfully located near Santa Fe’s major attractions. The hosts are quick to respond to questions. The surrounding neighborhood is clean and quiet.

Really great place to stay for those not needing something fancy. The shared spaces, especially the kitchen, were really nice to be able to use. My wife and I would certainly stay there again if ever in Santa Fe.

I had a wonderful stay at Santa Fe's International Hostel. I was a solo traveler and I booked a private room (as opposed to the bunk rooms that they offer on their website, not on airbnb). It had a worn but totally fine double bed, desk, chest of drawers, two lamps, a rack with hangers, extra blankets, 3 pillows, outlets and an extension cord, a small separate room with a cold water sink with soap, and a toilet. Everything was as described and I enjoyed the shared kitchen with ample ingredients donated by Whole Foods. It was fun to talk to fellow travelers over morning coffee. The front desk was very friendly when I arrived, gave the the tour, and made sure I had all I needed. Later, Walker at the front desk so kindly helped me choose a place to go hear live music and drink a beer that evening (Cowgirl btw, was fun and chill). Parking in their lot was easy and a short drive to downtown. The room could get cold at night (I visited in February) but they provided multiple blankets (as well as sheets and a towel). I also had a blanket in my car so it worked out great. There is also a thermostat in the room but it is not super well insulated. I did small chores every morning and also cleaned my room upon departure. All in all it was a great deal, a fun and engaging experience, and lived up to my expectations. I felt safe and everyone was friendly. They are everything they say they are and it is definitely a fun stop and a good memory!

In my distant youth, I used hostels a lot when I travelled the world and was so happy (and pleased) to find the hostel spirit alive and well in Santa Fe. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food selection was organic, fresh and divine, and the facilities, though old and a bit funky, were quite comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a great hostel, make sure that you read the rules before you book! Yes, you will need to clean, but the trade-off is that is that the kitchen is overflowing with free food from whole foods so you probably won’t need to buy food while you stay. The staff are great and the vibe as well.

This is a nice hostel for a cheap price. It also does a good job at fostering a sense of community.

Chic, comfortable space with thoughtful amenities throughout - nice appliances, a burr grinder for coffee, gas fireplace and hot tub. And they have onsite Tesla charging, which was tremendously convenient. Comfortable king bed and a nice layout that allows the bedroom to be closed off from the living space.

Very clean and comfortable accomodations! I didn't get a chance to interact with my hosts much as I was busy, but each time I did they were pleasant and kind. The local tips sheet in their house guide binder was very helpful in finding more things to do during my stay!

I loved staying here. The room was very spacious and for me it was ideal. I v practice Shaolin Chi Cong and Yoga. The host was awesome and made me feel like part of the family. Brendas sons both play Piano and it resonates thought out the house. I would highly recommend this place.

The room and space is exactly as advertised and true to photos. The check in process was extremely straightforward and Brenda was very responsive and helpful regarding any queries I had. The room and bathroom were both sparkling clean and very comfortable after a long day of traveling. I met Isaiah, Brenda’s son, briefly and their dog Muju (who was well-behaved and adorable.) Both hosts were very personable and accommodating. If you’re looking for a great value in Santa Fe please consider staying here!

Great place near Santa Fe and Civi was really nice

My family rented both homes at this address for Christmas and had a wonderful time. Ceci thoughtfully set up beautiful trees in both houses! There was plenty of space for all of us, and a great kitchen in the main house to cook Christmas dinner. Close enough to walk to the plaza (takes about 20-30 mins) and enjoy the lights as well.

Ceci’s place was nice and stylish. It was also very close to everything in town. She gave us great recommendations and make check in and check out very easy.

This place is an excellent location, around the corner from Whole Foods and a short walk to downtown area. Small simple place but with everything I needed. Very clean and very quiet. Lovely view into a pretty backyard area with a small pool and fountain. Easy access and easy parking. Catherine was very attentive and responsive. All in all a most excellent accommodation!

Beautiful place to stay!

I had a wonderful time staying with Susan. There a two guest bedrooms and one shared bathroom, all cozy and clean. I loved the plant filled hallway and coffee in the morning. Her home is surrounded by pines and feels very quiet and remote, despite being minuets from downtown Santa Fe. Susan is very knowledgeable about places to to eat and things to do in the local area, we hope to visit again soon !

Susan and Steve were such a treat! Breathtaking home (the entire place is decorated w/ artifacts from their travels), outstanding recommends (sent us on a lovely hike and to quite possibly the best African + Indian meals I’ve ever had), and superb hospitality (they even let us use their honey for our morning coffees :’)). Susan's house is an ideal place to stay while touring in the Santa Fe area. It's located on the north side of the city and provides easy access to attractions such as Chimayo, Ghost Ranch, and Bandelier National Monument. The space is beautifully decorated and cozy. I'd love to stay there again if I get back to Santa Fe.

An expansive bedroom with nice big windows, tucked away, private, warm, comfortable, cozy, clean, quiet - I could go on and on. Christopher is a helpful host, an artist of wood, and quite funny. The house is spectacular, totally Santa Fe plus international flavor.

Christopher is an excellent host. His home is convenient to downtown and yet has a rural atmosphere. He offers a variety of rooms from a double bed room with private bath and TV, to a small room for 1 person with a shared bath. Christopher's place is my go-to home in Santa Fe since 2015 when I first stayed with Christopher.

As someone who loves visual culture, I fell in love with Christopher's little Chapel Room, which he built specifically to accommodate a splendid carved Indonesian door he'd acquired. Walking through that doorway truly feels like you are entering a magic portal! Christopher provided all the amenities I needed, and I was grateful he was able to accommodate me at the last minute. I recommend.
