My wife and I spent 11 days in the old Roman town of Salemi. We are so happy we chose to stay with Nicola. His apartment is perfectly situated inside the old city. His place is tastefully furnished with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. We enjoyed meeting Nicola, he is friendly, hospitable, and very accommodating to our needs. He also gave us a tour of his vineyard which they use to produce their own wine. We enjoyed eating black berries off his tree and walking through his wheat field. The apartment was especially quiet, which we appreciated since we are light sleepers. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the narrow roads in this town and found it to be very romantic and a truly special place. If you ever find yourself in beautiful Salemi, we highly recommend you stay with Nicola.

It was very easy to communicate with the host and everything went really smooth, even narrow streets of salemi weren't that scary thanks to his guidance. Great place to stay during a car journey around Sicily

Beautiful apartment, spacious, clean, comfortable, and just a few minutes' walk from the castle, cafe, and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Nicola and getting to know Salemi through his eyes. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. If you're visiting Salemi and have a car, Salemi is a delightful little town from which you can drive an easy distance to Castellammare, Marsala, etc.

In Nicolas apartment we really felt like at home :) It is cozy and even bigger than we expected. We were siting in really cozy (and as we think brand new) kitchen for a while when we understood that there is a living room were we can chat even more comfortable and listen some music :D Nicola is a great guy, contacted us in advance letting us know he is waiting for us, even turned on heating before we came as it was quite cold and stormy days of April. He also helped us to find locations we needed, he was concerned if everything went well during our stay and asked what could be better, but we had nothing much to say. :) Streets are close to each other and GPS sometimes loses it's way, so take a glance to the route before driving. :)

It was perfect at all. The flat is big, clean and cozy. Nicola was very friendly and attentive. He prepared for us information on Russian language about bars, restaurants, drugstore, post etc and it was so nice. I absolutely recommend Nicola and his flat for visiting. If I will go to Salemi I stay in Nicola's flat.

Nicola was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the appartment was perfect for our needs. Nicola met us in the Piazza and helped us to find the place (if you've been to Salemi, you'll know that this isn't easy!) He made us feel comfortable, offered great suggestions for things to do, and even made reservations for us at a restaurant near Salemi We loved our stay and recommend Nicola's appartment 100%

Nicola's mother came to guide us to the apartment through the maze of little streets in Salemi. This was a life-saver! My first time driving on the right-hand side and in towns with tiny winding medieval street layouts. Meanwhile, Nicola had picked up the charging cord I left behind at the previous Airbnb. Nicola took excellent care of us in every way and even took us to the beautiful farm owned by his family where they grow grapes and olives. We were then taken to one of the ancient sites near Salemi that goes back to pre-Greek times. We then were given a tour of the town. I can personally recommend the Mafia Museum. It is not just a bunch of exhibits but are rather chilling interactive experience. You can feel the real shock of those times back in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

We would stay here for a month if we could! Spacious, clean, comfortable and bright apartment. Great location to visit many, many locations in the area. Enjoyed driving in the historical center to get to the free and safe parking next to the apartment. This was one of the nicest apartments we stayed in on our 14 days touring Sicily. Salemi is a unique town also to just walk around and enjoy the history. We would and are recommending this to friends and family!

Sylvia nous a reçu dans une maison sicilienne typique au confort simple mais tout à fait satisfaisant. C'est une hôte charmante qui a le soucis de nous satisfaire à chaque instant. Paolina was extremely welcoming - warm, helpful and lovely! The house is charming and very atmospheric, surrounded by fruit and olive trees. Great breakfast and she cooked us a delicious meal on our first night. Most recommended! (Paulina also helped us find some locally embroidered bed sheets - thank you!)

Our experience was wonderful. Paolina and Cesare shared their elegant old home with us and made us feel like family. The dinners were delightful and the views west to the ocean at sunset were sublime. The signs showing the way to Ai Cipressi were a great help, particularly if you happen to drive back at night. I can highly recommend this, particularly if you appreciate the quiet of a country estate.

We were in town visiting family and Paolina's place offered a very comfortable please to stay. She was very accommodating and provided us with a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was just what we wanted and she was always willing to make us more food. We just wanted coffee and bread and cheese so it was pretty simple (per our request.) I would certainly stay again when visiting family.

We had a lovely stay at Paulinas BB. She made us feel very welcome and cooked us a very tasty dinner. The BB is in a beautiful old building with a lovely garden. Our room in a separate building was spacy, modern and clean. As we only were passing through Salemi, we didnt get that much of an impression of the surrondings.

Paolina and Ceasar were fantastic. They both made us feel right at home. They even waited to join us for dinner until we arrived at 10:00pm from the airport. Mussels for the starter, pasta for the second, then Fish as the Entree or Final Dish. Then Dessert, exceptional flavor and portion. The location was perfect. The house was built in 1870 and much the furniture was probably was just as old. The house was spotless and comfort was amazing. My Wife took cooking lessons the day of check out. No one was checking in so there was no hurry to leave. We had a late lunch after touring Salemi that was truly amazing, Wine, 4 courses, all homemade and all the veggies and sauce was from her garden on the property which felt like we were at home.

Paolina's home is beautiful and comfortable, full of beautiful traditional Sicilian objects and styles. Everything was clean and comfortable. The two rooms I saw were pleasantly minimal with good natural light, comfortable beds, and overlook the lush green flowers and plant life outside around the house. I wish I had had more time to explore the land around the house as we spent most of our time in the town of Salemi for the traditional feste di San Giuseppe. Paolina was a lovely host. She had arranged a tour of Salemi with a young student for us upon arrival which we declined only because my friend and I enjoy exploring on our own. You would need a car to visit all surrounding sites but parking is comfortable and her home is a lovely home base to come back to in the evenings for a good nights sleep in such a beautiful place.

The country house was just outside of Salemi perfectly located for day trips in the West of Sicily, an easy 1 hour from Palermo airport. The house had everything we needed to make a very enjoyable holiday. Highlights include a great pool (salt water and very clean) overlooking the hills, a great BBQ area with a wood fired BBQ for excellent flavours and plenty of organic vegetables/herbs which we could kindly use. Riccardo, and his parents, were wonderful hosts and even arranged for a tour of the family vines (by Riccardo's father), the local wine making facility and a stop at a cheese producer. A great experience. Riccardo was very easy to communicate with both pre and during our trip and provided some terrific recommendations on day trips, places to eat. This is a truly wonderful place in the countryside of Sicily. The house is surrounded by a beautiful and diverse garden, with all kinds of vegetation. Upon arrival Riccardo was so kind to get us some delicious vegetables from this garden. Although we have been living mostly outside in the garden, the house itself has everything one could wish for. Clean and light rooms and a nice little kitchen downstairs to prepare some Sicilian cuisine. Riccardo has been very kind and helpful during our stay. Definitely recommended!

We fell in love with this picturesque farm by Salemi. The location was perfect for the day trips to the shore and mountains of West of Sicily. We arrived on the evening of the holiday, when all stores were closed and were given a bottle of Nero, the delicious pasta dish made by Riccardo's mom, the bowl of fruit and some homemade jam and oil, that was so thoughtful and generous of our hosts. The house had a charming kitchen with every possible cooking gadget and dining room with a fireplace downstairs. Upstairs were three bedrooms very clean and comfortable, we managed to swim in the pool even though it was late April, we admired and used herb garden daily. Everything was blooming and we spend many evenings outside. We had a great time visiting Greek ruins and highly recommend Zingaro park for hiking trips. This house was a lovely place to rest.

Riccardo and his family are absolutely great - they are lovely, helpful... the perfect hosts. They were helpful in giving advise and within reason accommodated our needs. Even though the house is a bit isolated it has all the comforts (wi-fi worked very well and all the other appliances) and it is beautifully furnished. The house and the grounds are in an idyllic spot. The garden is very well kept our dog enjoyed too! Salemi is strategically located so that it is easy to visit many places of cultural and historical relevance as well as beaches. However, Riccardo's place is so lovely we also stayed in to enjoy the pool and the grounds. My best Airbnb experience so far in the many years of stays in many different countries.

Extremely beautiful surroundings, wonderful garden and a well functioning house with room for everyone. Riccardo was helpful and quick to reply when we had questions. Will definitely be back!

L'appartement est spacieux, très propre et correspond aux photos. Vita est certes une petite ville, mais les commerçants, les fêtes de villages ne manquent pas, les habitants sont chaleureux et souriants. Sachez que grâce à sa localisation Vita est à moins d'une heure en voiture de castelamarre del golfo, trappani, San Vito lo capo, riserva de zingaro, marsala, mazara, sciacca... Filippo est très avenant et accueillant, il vous fera visiter ses vignes, sa ville et ses alentours avec grand plaisir si vous en avez envie. Nous recommandons le logement et son hôte les yeux fermés.

La gentilezza dei nostri host è stata ammirevole. Si sono presi di cura di noi per tutto il soggiorno, sempre disponibili a darci dei consigli. Lo consiglio vivamente anche per la posizione in pieno centro. Per chi è appassionato di arte contemporanea questo posto è il top!

Per la nostra visita di relax abbiamo scelto Casa Pirrello.L'host Rosario e sua moglie Caterina sono delle persone squisite e gentilissime. La casa è molto luminosa con un'ampia terrazza a disposizione (condivisa) ed è dotata di tutti i comfort. Scelta veramente consigliata!

Notre séjour chez nicolo etait fantastique. L'appartement est sublime et confortable et situé en plein centre de gibelline. Nicolo nous a indiqué les choses a visiter dans la region et accueilli de maniere confortable. C'est un veritable coup de coeur.
