The Barn has been featured & recommended by multiple travel & lifestyle blogs including: Pure Wow, Escape Brooklyn, And North, Bazaar and Afar.
Tivoli is a tiny village, friendly & quaint, centrally located between Rhinebeck and Hudson with Germantown and Red Hook along the way. It's one of the Hudson Valley's hidden gems and an easy, 5 minute walk from the Barn. It's an awesome spot to explore the Mid-Hudson Valley - from farms to old mansions, from antiquing to watching cabaret at the Spiegeltent or high-end dance & music performances at the Frank Gehry Performing Arts Center. Visit Olana, catch experimental music at the Basilica Hudson, take an easy hike through the Poet's Walk. Not to mention all the wonderful dining experiences all the way from Rhinebeck to Hudson. For the adventurous guests we have Tivoli Bays (multiple entrances close to us) for kayaking, paddle boarding, bike riding or just a hike on your own two feet. I also love that Tivoli has one of each amenity and they are all worth checking out; remember, it's a 5 minute walk! Murray's Coffee Shop / Brunch all day Tivoli Bakery / hmmm, chocolate brioches... • The coziest cabin for our late winter stay. Wonderful to deal with Bruna and such a perfect spot for our group of 4. Highly recommend a visit here!!

    Kris2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bruna & Andrew’s place was beyond amazing. I’m your typical stressed out New Yorker and this barn helped me relax and unwind. It was immaculate. Better than the pictures. Beautifully decorated. Biggest surprise was how comfortable the beds were. I slept better than I have in quite a while. We’re a group of close friends and loved the openness of the space. Just enough privacy for sleeping. Sitting around the cast iron stove drinking wine made our weekend. We enjoyed dinner in the barn the first night and had everything we needed to cook. The town is just up the road (walked there daily) and you’ll find great restaurants and a friendly wine shop. We can’t wait to come back to the barn in Tivoli so we can enjoy the outdoor fire pit and shower. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for everything!

    Heather2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My 4 year old daughters review Tivoli has the cutest pillow in the universe. It also has the most fun swinging chairs and a wonderful piano (piano hats included). The loft has an incredible vantage point. Thank you Tivoli, don't forget ravioli.

  • Exceeded expectations! Bruna and Andrew have done a fantastic job with the Barn. They made our stay so simple and worthwile. Bruna was extremely responsive. Really we were impressed ! Thanks again

    Xavier2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing as always. This was my second time at the barn. I was here in the fall and after knew I had to plan a girls weekend up here in the winter. Great quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Worth the trip!

    Charlotte2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully appointed barn, lots of nice details both decorative & functional, comfortable beds. We stayed in the winter, so did not make use of any of the outdoor features of the property. We hiked, we cooked, we lit a fire, we played the slightly wonky piano, we lounged; all in all, a lovely getaway. One thing to keep in mind, whether it was because of the time of year, or mid-week, or both, several of the businesses in town were closed - information that wasn't reflected on the web. Thanks, Bruna & Andrew, we hope to come back in the warm season!

    Rina2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • The barn was everything we hoped it would be. A beautiful space to get away for the weekend! The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy! Easy walk into town. Double check if school is in session. Some of the bars/restaurants were closed for January.

    Rachel2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bruna & Andrew’s home is filled with warmth and every detail is intentional and beautiful. We had an amazing three nights at their home and would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape from the city.

  • The perfect place to getaway and reconnect! Loved every detail and thoughtful touches. Thank you!

    Natalie2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Loved spending hours in this private, peaceful cabin tending the fire pit and wading in the pool. Will definitely return.

    Kate2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb property is very desirable and has excellent amenities. Just know that if you are specifically looking for an outdoor 'hot tub' that goes above 95 degrees, this is not the listing that you want. That said, the heated outdoor pool is fantastic and there is a huge bathtub in the house. Amazing fireplace in the house and outdoor fire pit. Definitely worth the price.

    Solomon2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing hosts, super responsive and the place was freaking immaculate. I was so happy we brought groceries with us to cook and for homemade snacks. It allowed us to really enjoy the space and feel at home. They had a great spice right and just about everything I needed to make my meals. The space was well designed, smart and quiet. The instructions left were clear, and check in super easy. We are definitely coming back and recommend anyone to stay there. You won’t regret it. Thank you again Heath for an amazing stay. Job well done!

    Izetta2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Heath's cabin in the woods met all of our expectations. We loved lounging by the pool and soaking in the massive egg shaped bathtub. Do keep in mind that the solarium is quite a distance from the main unit and requires hiking through the woods to get to. We were so grateful that we only had four persons in our party, as this house is certainly not suitable for more than four guests. Thanks again, Heath!

    Jordan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Heaths place is as described. Beautiful, serene, calm, lovely really. We relaxed a lot. Cooked a lot, and spent much time trying to figure out the technology of the home - luckily Heath had a pretty decent lay of the land for us. The location was good, but definitely be prepared for 15-20 minute drives anywhere substantial. This is no an “Uber” place. There is no “running up the street for a coffee” - it’s all that’s you’d expect an epic escape to be. The pool was amazing, bed was comfortable, don’t just look at the amenities - pack groceries some beer and enjoy all that the property is. Side note - Amsterdam for breakfast is a MUST - take a ride for lunch to the Culinary Institute of America and see some history on the way...and if you’re a yoga person - Cleo at Rainbow Yoga runs a phenomenal class - we took our first ever aerial class and LOVED it. Enjoy! Cheers!

A bright, serene space with reclaimed fixtures and hidden nooks throughout, the barn is surrounded by wildlife-filled fields. We are easy drives to quaint towns, hikes and art in all directions. Please read the entire description & rules before booking. Our base rate is for 2. A game room in the lower level will be available 5/1 (ping pong, fussball and more!). The barn is perfect for work stays as well. 28+day stays currently desired but will consider weekly stays. Hope to hear from you!
Full of light and divisions created by old window sashes, the space holds an open feeling while still harboring hidden nooks for curling up with a good book. The big windows face an upward sloping meadow, a veritable bird sanctuary much of the year. The interior is serene with a cozy fireplace for winter. The space encourages both reflection and community. Note on number of guests: We state 6 as a maximum. This has worked for families with children or tight knit groups of friends & relatives. Less tight knit groups should study the space carefully and understand the barn has only two bedrooms, and the upper bedroom interacts somewhat freely with entire upstairs space. We encourage those seeking to accommodate 7 or 8 to see if the farmhouse suite is available (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2822915). Feel free to ask us more questions about the space! • Please also note that a suite in our house (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2822915) may be rented out at the same time but is sited away from the barn maintaining privacy for all. • SAME DAY BOOKINGS: Please contact us first to make sure we can have the space available on time. • WEEKENDS: If booking on a weekend, please book both Friday and Saturday - thanks! • We charge 10$/night/per dog - welcoming dogs who are well-behaved and taken care of. Please let us know in advance of booking about dog(s) that they are well behaved, a short description, and please also note additional requirements for dogs in the house rules. Thanks!
The barn & home is in bucolic Columbia County, in the Hudson River Valley where there's a unparalleled foodie culture. The breathtaking views of Stissing Mountain are 7 minutes away, as is Thompson Pond. 7 or 8 hip/quaint little towns can be reached in 5 to 25 minutes.
  • Molly and Gregg’s home is a cozy oasis. We booked last minute, and Gregg was so accommodating. We arrived late at night and found the space lit and warm from a fire Gregg had made for us. The space itself is quite beautiful— there are a number of cozy nooks and thoughtful details, including fresh milk and eggs in the fridge. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for an incredible stay!

  • Incredible hosts. The place is beautiful. Would definitely come again!

    Julio2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had an fantastic stay! The Barn was everything we expected and more. Great communication before during and after our stay with Gregg & Molly, checking in and out was easy and they offered a lot of info into the surrounding area. The Barn was spotless and looked even better then the photos. We loved our stay will are already planning our next trip back up!

  • What a beautiful space and a peaceful property. Gregg greeted us when we arrived, introduced us to his gorgeous home and was super helpful with fun recommendations for adventures & restaurants in the area. This barn is truly special - we enjoyed a super cozy, relaxing stay. I would return in a heartbeat.

    Keenan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Molly & Gregg's barn is the most magical place you've ever visited. It is totally unique and you'll have to drag yourself out of it to explore, it feels too beautiful and cozy to leave! The space is quite open, so you need to be sure you're ok without huge privacy from whoever you are traveling with, but for us it was perfect. The barn is right next to Molly & Gregg's house but feels totally isolated, with most of the windows facing a beautiful meadow and trees away from their house. This place is unreal, the details are gorgeous, thoughtful and unique. It's not an ikea setup, its definitely an artists creation. We can't wait to visit again. Don't hesitate to stay here!

  • Great house. Very clean, all the rooms are large and well decorated. It was fantastic for our large group of 18. Will definitely book again.

  • Great location/house/space. Paul was a great host and very responsive.

    Ankur2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I (18 of us in total) comfortably and happily stayed at this property. We all fit at the dining room table and made full use of the spacious and beautiful kitchen. The Sonos system and fireplaces were really nice touches that added to the ambience. If you like yoga, this property has a lot of yoga mats, blocks, and weights -- it made for a fun group activity. This property also has cornhole boards and sacks! Additionally, Paul (owner) and Holly (house manager) were very responsive -- thanks for making our stay so memorable. Two points to note: 1. The upper bunk beds can only be used by really young or lightweighted kids. My cousin weighs 80-90lbs and the frame was unnervingly bending while he was laying on it. 2. The movie theater system can be finicky (we were unable to use the theater, but loved/appreciate the setup). Definitely Instagram worthy, if that matters to you.

  • Paul's home is stunning. The house was so spacious and filled with light, and as soon as you start driving up the driveway and see the beautiful grounds, you know you're in for something special. Even for our group of 15 there was more than enough room. Thanks for a great weekend!

    Tyler2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a friendly gathering. It was great for adults and kids. Paul and holly were great and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

  • An absolute amazing stay and host. Truly an experience. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here.

    Jen2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Troy is a kind host who is full of character. His place is comfy and spotless. The breakfast he made for us was delicious and dining with him was a very pleasant experience. His dogs are also super sweet. Definitely take his recommendations on what to do in the area.

    Daniela2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived at Troy's home in Hyde Park, we felt warmly embraced as not just guests, but as friends, neighbors, and members of his family. We stayed in the "Dutchess County Room," which has its own private entrance and bathroom. The room is situated downstairs from the main common areas and the other 2 AirBnB rooms, making it very much a private suite. The common areas were exceedingly enjoyable, with plenty of space to lounge in front of the fire, listening to the Amtrak trains pass by in the distance. One evening, Troy invited us to join him for dinner upstairs with some of his closest friends, and we spent the evening eating, drinking, and laughing with a group of simply wonderful people. Again, we felt like part of his family. Each morning we were greeted by a spectacular breakfast: endless coffee, yogurt, berries, smoked fish, and waffles. And Troy made sure to go out of his way to give us advice on sightseeing in the area. He's an expert on the little towns nestled around the Hudson Valley, and knows how to make the most of a weekend away from the city. All in all, this was one of the most memorable lodging experiences of my life. I've stayed in AirBnB's in a dozen countries around the world, but I've never felt so warmly pampered as I was at Troy's home. This place is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

    Keith2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you've read any of the other reviews, you already know, this place is a gem. Troy goes out of his way to create a one-of-a-kind, 5-star experience. This is truly unlike any other Airbnb out there. His home is incredibly beautiful, and is only bested by his hospitality and cute pups! Highly recommend! Will absolutely be back.

    Andrew2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ok guys, if you haven’t booked with Troy, you have to do it right away. Troy’s place is one in a million. You won’t find anything like this in Hudson Valley or the east side. It has such an amazing view to the forest, with big windows, big open spaces and a beautiful fireplace. Troy takes care of every single detail of the house, from the colors, pictures , kitchen, rooms everything was beyond amazing. Troy is the most amazing host we’ve ever had, it felt like we knew him from years. He also has 2 beautiful golden retriever that were the cherry on top of the cake, they love to be pet !!! We already miss them ❤️ Thank you again!!

  • Probably the single loveliest Airbnb host and place on the planet. The place is true to the photos, and even prettier and more stylish in person. Troy is brimming with sincerity and character. He made the loveliest breakfast I had in years. It’s just impossible not to love your stay here.

    Angela2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our second time at Troy's. As always, excellent hospitality that exceeds expectations. Easy check in, comfortable and artful amenities, warm host and friendly dogs. The breakfast is on another level and Troy has great recommendations on places to see. We'll be back a third time. If you're thinking of coming up with friends or your partner, do it.

    Luke2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night at Troy’s place, and it was great experience meeting him and having lovely and memorable breakfast all together with other guests as well. I really appreciate him being such an amazing host. Hope to see him soon again. ❤️❤️❤️

This 1968 a-frame cabin, situated on 6 acres of untouched land, is perfect for anyone seeking a serene escape to the Hudson Valley. Floor-to-ceiling windows grant an idyllic view of the lush outdoors, all from the comfort of a meticulously furnished mid-century gem. The home reflects the owner's (Brooklyn-based designers) love for art and design, being filled with vintage Danish furniture and one-off pieces from their travels around the world. Cozy up by the fire in the winter, and enjoy the outdoors in the summer, all within minutes of Rhinebeck & other great attractions. @hudsonvalleyaframe
Our Hudson Valley home is our getaway from the rush of big-city life in Brooklyn - and we've set it up to be an amazing place to relax, decompress and have fun. Here are some details about the home, property, and things to do while staying: The 6-acre property: When we were looking at properties, I initially wanted a farmhouse in the middle of a large field. The idea of the woods made me nervous as a city dweller, but my mind changed the instant I saw this house and the land that surrounds it. Immediately around the house, there is a large lawn with lawn chairs and a fire ring. It’s big enough for games like frisbee or bocce or running around with kids. Just beyond that there is an additional 5+ acres or untouched but sparse forest land. The trees are quite tall but only have a canopy at the top, so it feels like an open, quiet, and beautiful yard, not a dark, dense, creepy forest. The land is flat and easy to walk – something we highly recommend. You’ll definitely see a variety of birds, squirrels, and chipmunks, and occasionally deer and wild turkeys will traipse through. The home itself: The kitchen is recently renovated with all new stainless steel appliances and comes stocked with all of the pots, pans and cooking utensils you’ll need to make a nice meal. It’s large, thoughtfully designed, and super functional. We love to cook and know the value of a great kitchen. It also has a breakfast table set for two and just off the kitchen there is a covered deck perfect for drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper. Next to the kitchen is the den flanked on two sides by large windows, furnished with an extremely comfortable couch, desk for working, and a TV and DVD player for relaxing. We wind up here at the end of every night, working our way through the entire 007 catalog. The den leads into the living room, which we consider the show piece of the house and one of the main reasons we purchased it. The floor-to-ceiling windows that flank the A-frame roof are stunning, letting in a ton of light and allowing you to see all of the nature that brought you to the Hudson Valley. The room is large and open, housing our handmade (by my husband) walnut dining table set for 6, wood-burning stove, couches, and stereo. It’s set up as an amazing place to play a board game, read a book, have a glass of wine with friends, or stare out into nature. It’s our favorite room in the house and we’re sure it will be yours as well. In the middle of the wall of windows, you’ll find a sliding glass door that opens out onto the largest deck of the house furnished with a large wooden table and benches and a brand-new gas grill for memorable summer meals. Off the living room you’ll find the bedroom with en suite bathroom. There is a comfortable full-sized bed with brand new feather comforter, pillows and sheets. The room has a linen closet that houses all of the backup sheets and towels as well as a blow-up mattress that can easily be set up in the den, as well as a large closet stocked with plenty of hangers. This room is painted a beautiful deep blue and houses an amazing mid-century chandelier that we brought back from our travels to Portugal. The room has a large window as well as a sliding glass door that takes you out to a small deck and the outside. It’s super peaceful especially because it faces west so it doesn’t get a ton of direct sunlight to wake you up in the morning. The en suite bathroom is split by the hallway with a toilet and sink on one side and tub and shower on the other, which makes it easy for someone to shower while another gets ready. Heading upstairs, you’ll find the classic A-frame loft, which we have transformed into a large open bedroom. This room is equipped with a large queen-sized platform bed centered in front of a wall of windows, and flanked by side tables with two mid-century globe lights (also brought back from our Portugal trips). There is a small desk in case you need to fire off some emails, as well as a luggage rack, and an authentic Morris chair. Across from the bed you’ll find a well-apportioned half bath with pocket door, toilet, large mirrored medicine cabinet, and marble countertop. Around the corner you’ll find a large bookcase stocked with books, magazines and a DVD collection as well as a full drum set (my husband’s). Back downstairs next to the front door, there is another full bath, that is currently being renovated, so it’s not available yet but will be completed soon. Continuing down another set of stairs, you’ll find a small laundry room stocked with soap, bleach, stain stick and dryer sheets for your laundry needs.
Located in the town of Milan, and a short drive from the village of Red Hook and Rhinebeck. The area is immersed in nature and countryside, surrounded by working farms where you can pick apples, pumpkins, blueberries, cherries, and plums, depending on the time of year. As an AirBnb Plus property, our listing is only able to show photos taken by the Airbnb staff, so there are not many photos of the outdoors, or surrounding areas. Please visit our instagram account for more! @hudsonvalleyaframe
  • A beautiful, classic mid century a-frame on a lot of gorgeous land. Super relaxing and very comfortable. The beds and bedding were great. Loved the CO Bigelow products in the bathrooms. Probably wise to bring eye masks since the morning sunlight floods both bedrooms.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Brenna's house. The house is beautifully designed, furnished with lots of love and everything you need is there. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful living room by the fireplace or are outside behind the veranda in the forest / garden. We really enjoyed the time. The next town is about 15 minutes by car (Red Hook), where you can get everything you need. Red Hook and Rhinebeck (small, sweet colonial-style place, we really liked it) have some nice restaurants / cafes and Brenna provided us with great tips. Communication with Brenna went really well. We would definitely go back.

    Eva-Maria2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • A great escape from New York City! Brenna's house is beautiful, comfortable, clean and relaxing. We had everything we needed, and especially loved the fireplace and record player (with endless Beatles albums!). We felt right at home! Communication was timely and comprehensive. The house is about 15 mins away from Rhinebeck, with plenty of great restaurants, shops and the Mirbeau Spa. I highly recommend this house for a peaceful weekend getaway!

    Maya2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house was lovely and a great landing pad for checking out nearby towns of Rhinebeck, Red Hook and Tivoli. Wish we had had better weather for our winter stay (it rained a good bit) but we managed to make s’mores with our kids in the fire pit, loved cozying up by the wood burning stove and our final morning woke up to sparkling sunlight coming through the surrounding woods! Wish we’d had another day to explore!

    Courtade2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The place was genuinely beautiful and fun to live in

    Tim2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Brenna’s place was a perfect secluded getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city area. It was the perfect recipe for a amazing Valentine’s Day for me and my girlfriend. Check in was super simple. We stayed in, got the wood burning stove going, and cooked some delicious home made food in the spacious and perfectly styled kitchen. The decor was lovely and suited the place perfectly. It made for a very special weekend! Btw the drum set was the icing on The cake! Thanks so much Brenna and I hope to stay again in the future! Cheers!

    Scott2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved Brenna’s place upstate. It was a lovely weekend spent out of the city. You can tell right away that this house was styled with love, and there was thought put into every detail to make guests feel comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities available to us especially in the kitchen with everything you need to make a nice meal. The highlights for us was having the 6 acres of land to roam around, and enjoy nature, peace and quiet. And we loved the wood burning stove! It was so cozy and relaxing to hang out in the main room, listen to music, and enjoy the cool vibe of this house. Already planning to go back!

    Kimberly2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for a team building activity. All of us loved our stay here. The place is smart yet cozy and comfortable and, of course, clean. Great location as well. The space outdoor was beautiful even in the winter. The instruction book was very thorough and super helpful and communication with the Daniel prior to our stay was so friendly and seamless. Our stay was very relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Unique experience ! Clean/Sanitize and secluded. Enjoy a weekend or a few days eco-friendly retreat in an architectural, geometric masterpiece on 30 preserved acres just minutes from all that Rhinebeck and the Hudson Valley have to offer. The house is an open plan, and though it has zero bedrooms, it can sleep four!
At the entry porch, an orb of wood carved out of the house will welcome you into a play of geometry. Situated around one main volume and open to the second level, the kitchen is placed in the center. There is a futon queen bed, 1 sleeper futon sofa, one single futon bed. Instead of fossil fuel, the house is heated and cooled geothermally. Instead of grid power, the house has electricity from the sun. We are sensitive to the environment and respect its ecological balance. The wood stove is highly efficient and keep the space warm in the Hudson Valley winter. Guest have access to a large supply of wood stacked outside the house. (Tip about the stove : Build the fire like a tipi and add wood in a vertical position to make sure the fire will be strong and well maintain) There is no central AC in the house, it is design to allow the air to flow when all the doors and windows are open, in addition the floor heat is connected to be cooling in the summer. Outside of the kitchen there is a dinning table with 4 chairs and a Charcoal BBQ (we do not provide charcoal or starter ). We do not accept Pets of any kind, guest bringing pets will be charge an extra 200$ cleaning fee.
Just 2 hours from NYC, minutes from Rhinebeck and Omega institute. 45 mn from Ski resorts like Hunter Mountain, Windam and Catamount. A car is highly recommended.
  • The space makes you feel things

  • This is a gorgeous property and it was such a pleasure to spend a winter weekend here. The host provided detailed instructions for check-in and check-out, which made the logistics a breeze. The house was so serene and comfortable, with beautiful views of the outdoors at every turn. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meal during our weekend away. Even better than I expected!

    Olivier2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful unique home in a scenic wooded setting! The sculpture path from the house through the woods is wonderful and was a nice surprise.

    Frank2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely stunning. The appliances were new and easy to use. Our only thing was that we felt a bit scared at night (city people problems) because it's pitch dark outside and there were only 2 blinds upstairs, and no blinds covering the window right next to the main bed. We're sure it was super safe and all but mentally we just felt a little unsettled. Overall we still really enjoyed our stay - just had to get over our own fear of the dark.

Put on a pot of coffee in a cozy kitchenette and head outside for a bit of fresh air at a bistro table on the stone patio. In the evening, kick back on a steel-gray sofa within this warm apartment featuring eclectic decor and mid-century furnishings.
The apartment is perched on a hill and located in the town of Red Hook. Head into town for American fare at Flatiron or try an Italian dish at Mercato Osteria Enoteca. Take a drive to the Opus 40 sculpture park or the historic Vanderbilt Mansion.

Sunny and airy bedroom in our charming country home in Rhinebeck, 1 mile from the Omega Institute. Shared bathroom. Queen size bed. Cable television. Sliding glass door walks out to a deck with a seating area overlooking our beautiful back lawn. You have use of our front picturesque deck overlooking our pond with water flowers, Koi fish, garden and labyrinth.
We have a beautiful home with large bedrooms and living spaces. The house is very secluded, hidden behind another property. Our living/kitchen/dining room is bright and airy with loft ceilings. Filled with plants- very much like a greenhouse. The living room has two sliding glass doors that open onto our amazing deck and koi pond. We have four acres of lawn surrounded by trees and bordering on "Little Wappinger's Creek". Take a stroll in the garden & labyrinth, relax in a hammock... Grab a cup of tea and stroll around. Your large bedroom is located privately in the corner of the house. We have free Wi-fi and have a Verizon extender for improved cell phone coverage. However, wifi and cell signals can be intermittent.
We are in a secluded quiet area in Rhinebeck. The Hudson Valley is a beautiful area to begin with. With the majestic Hudson River, the Catskill Mountains and our own vintage little village, Rhinebeck is a outstanding area in itself. Come and shop in our little village's many shoppes and restaurants. Antiques? We're one of the most popular destinations for antiquing on the east coast. The Hudson is lined with national and state parks, amazing historic mansions such as Mills Mansion, Locust Grove... and the Poughkeepsie Walking Bridge, which spans the width of the river (incredible views) Take a short drive and see the rolling mountains of the Catskills and make a stop in Woodstock (a very cool little village). Take a longer drive to the original site of the Woodstock concert at Bethel, which again is a concert site and museum. A walk or bike ride away from our home is the Omega Institute, one of our personal favorites. There are so many gems in our area that we'd love to share and hope you get to experience in your stay.
  • Lovely, welcoming hosts (and the bonus of a friendly border collie who loves to play ball!)

    Chris2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot; very nice home; very thoughtful hosts! Loved having that coffee ready in the early AM!

    Devanshi2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and Linda's place is like walking into a friend's house. The space was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. Their dogs are sweet. I will definitely be back next time I go to Omega.

    Kirsten2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was perfect place to stay while attending a workshop at Omega—Linda welcomed me and showed me around, and it was so beautiful with friendly animal friends to say hello too!

    Ellen2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Ron was very congenial and helpful. Wonderful stay.

    Louise2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Ron were thoughtful hosts who pay attention to details and the experience of their guests. The space is nicer than the photos even suggest. The natural light in the room gives it a very spacious and airy feeling. Relaxing music, along with a variety of soothing teas are a nice way to wind down at the end of the day... and coffee in the morning helps to start the day. I walked to and from Omega each day, and it is a scenic walk where almost every day I saw deer along the path. Their dogs, Oren and Molly, are sweet, gentle border collies, and they also get five stars for gracious co-hosts. I would definitely recommend.

    Heidi2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The location is superb! I stayed in the “Room with Deck” as part of a three day retreat at the Omega Institute. I chose Linda & Ron’s place based on the photos and reviews, and I was not disappointed! It was everything they said in the descriptions it would be. The room was very clean. The bathroom was also sparkling clean and the shower had plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel choices. I had 4 towels and a bar of soap waiting in my room too! The coy fish pond was very relaxing. Waking up and stepping outside onto the deck each morning was magical. It was truly private and I hardly knew there were other guests or people at home! The dogs were great and very friendly too. The coffee, tea, and treats, along with all the brochures in the wonderful living space definitely made me think about returning to visit the area to check out all the other things to do around. Linda and Ron are great ambassadors for the area, and I feel lucky to have been able to stay on such a warm and inviting place. Thank you for a great stay!

  • Susan’s place was perfect for our three person weekend. Clean and comfortable, close to great restaurants in Rhinebeck and the tours we had lined up.

  • We struck gold when we decided to stay the night in Rhinebeck on our way back from Quebec City to Alexandria, VA. Susan and her husband, Bill, were greats hosts and their roomy apartment was spotless and well-provisioned with coffee, juices, yogurt, muffins, cereals, etc. The apartment is attached to their home with a separate entrance. Susan stayed in constant touch with us and gave us a great list of restaurants in The center of town a few minutes away. We could not have been happier and would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

  • Susan's Airbnb is perfectly located, just a short distance outside charming Rhinebeck, New York, itself the most charming village in the region--with wonderful stores and restaurants, as well as the unique Upstate Films. The quarters are private (with lovely views of the woods), very spacious, well-designed, attractively decorated and furnished, and fully equipped. I could not have been more pleased with my stay at this Airbnb rental.

Private, quiet, quaint, cute and clean guest cottage, located on my 5 acre corner parcel in a park-like setting, 5 minutes to Omega, 10 minutes to Rhinebeck, Red Hook, or the Taconic Parkway
Located in a quiet country setting just 7 miles outside of Rhinebeck and Red Hook, the guest cottage is set well off of the road and is a perfect location for visiting the Hudson Valley. 4 miles from Omega Institute. The kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage is handicap accessible and has its own parking space. There is a pond on the property with plenty of cooperative bass if you wish to fish (catch and release policy). The guest cottage is a large studio with the main living area approximately 18 ft by 18 ft with a galley kitchen and bathroom. My house is located on the property with a shared large driveway.
Very private setting, rural, quiet, and serene, can't see the neighbors' homes at all in the summer and only from afar in the winter, and yet just 10 minutes from town
  • I spent a wonderful winter week in Merri’s super cute “cabin in the woods.” Warm and cozy (potbellied stove helped enormously), fully stocked with kitchen utensils and dish ware, location central to everything I needed to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again, especially on other seasons!

    Liz2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a lovely, wooded retreat in the Hudson Valley. It was very peaceful and had everything you could need in a studio space. It is very close to the village and near to several farms and other attractions like Ferncliff Forest and even the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park. I highly recommend this space for an individual or couple looking for a nice respite with fully equipped kitchen and warming touches.

    Chloe2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Merri’s cottage is nestled in the woods not too far off the main road, providing all seclusion and peace for a weekend away. Her and Carolyn’s communication is phenomenal and the Airbnb has more than you can ask with it’s personal touches. The cottage is completely renovated and with its high ceilings it makes you feel as if the space is bigger than it actually is. Plus with its traditional non-gas fireplace - if you like building and tending to fires this place is just for you. Definitely will be back to visit when the autumnal leaves begin to fall.

    Moj2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place provides you with a comfortable bed to rest, a view of the back woods and a pond, a well equipped kitchen and a cute fire stove for you to warm up after a day of hiking. We came in later than expected from the city, and Merri was kind enough to call us and let us know about a few things so we wouldn't get lost (since we were coming in late at night). She prepped the stove and had the space heater on so we came in to a warm house. We only saw each other on our way out. You feel as if you're secluded in the woods, even though their house is pretty close. Highly recommended if you're thinking about escaping and relaxing!

  • Andrew and Marissa’s house was so great and exactly what we needed for a long weekend away. The house is exactly like the pictures, it was super clean and spacious, comfortable, and close to the Village of Rhinebeck and attractions around the Hudson River. Definitely recommend and would visit again!

  • We stayed at Andrew and Marissa’s place for a quick getaway from nyc. We had a great time! They were super quick with their responses and were very accommodating! Hope to be back soon!

    Michelle2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! It was exactly as described, and perfect for us! A really lovely neighborhood just a bit out of town. Check in was so easy. Thanks again Andrew and Marissa!

    Emily2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay just one night. Plenty of privacy and quiet. Very quick responses to any questions. The location is just a couple of miles from downtown Rhinebeck. Comfortable bed lent it self to a great nights sleep.

    Lois2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Marissa have a beautiful house just outside of Rhinebeck, and super close to the Rhinecliff station. I was looking for a quiet getaway with a friend and my pup, and this was exactly what we needed. We didn't leave the house the entire time-- the grounds were beautiful, the house was easy to navigate and easy to find, and even the neighbors were lovely when we ran into them on walks. The only note is that you should bring your own spices etc if you plan to cook, because the kitchen is sparsely stocked (something Andrew and Marissa were very upfront about when I asked). I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away.

    Rebecca2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Marissa were communicative, the space was very clean and the location is quiet and convenient. We had a very comfortable weekend and would recommend anyone to stay here.

    David2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best stay at Andrew and Marissa’s beautiful space! Tucked away and private, this space has everything you need to relax and feel at home. Short 1 mile drive from downtown which has great restaurants and shopping and a quick drive to downtown Kingston! Andrew and Marissa were extremely accommodating with our last minute reservation and a pleasure to book with. Highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

    David2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our second year in a row staying at Sarah's - it's always lovely! Clean, perfect location, awesome hot tub and total privacy.

    William2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah is amazing, we drive 4-5 hours every year and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. We love the animals too!

    William2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, wonderful people. The host had coffee, towel warmers, a fireplace, hot tub, local suggestions, and was amazingly friendly and nice. The best stay I've ever had. Beautiful.

    Daniel2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah’s place is amazing! Love using the hot tub on the deck in the cold. There are so many thoughtful touches from the slippers to the towel warmer. A great place to stay for a weekend in Rhinebeck. Don’t hesitate just book.

    Daniela2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Sarah was booked two days before our arrival. From the start, Sarah greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the room and showed us where all of the amenities are. Sarah got back to us very quickly when we had any questions and also helped greatly with outside accommodations. Using the hot tub during the night was absolutely amazing, with the lights off you can see all of the stars in the sky. There are plenty of indoor activities to do in the surrounding areas like bowling, pool, an arcade, etc. If you were to visit, I highly recommend Ferncliff Forest. It has a sketchy tower you can climb for a beautiful view of the entire Rhinebeck area.

    Henry2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah was a very warm/kind hostess and the room was very cozy...including Netflix and movies for our veg day! The fireplace apparently gets too hot to really use in the small space but it was nice to look at/have. The hot tub was great in the cold weather! Great coffee for the am.

  • One of the most amazing spaces we’ve ever seen: a cross between a treehouse and a ship’s cabin, but more spacious and comfortable. We wish it had been warmer outside so we could have enjoyed the balcony, but we loved the kitchen and the comfortable bed.

    Amy2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We like this place so much, we keep going back!

    K.C.2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, just as described. Very responsive hosts. House is in a beautiful spot, very quiet and safe. I was staying to visit my daughter at Bard College and the home is very close to Bard. Would highly recommend.

    Kay2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check in, very warm hosts with a slightly stocked kitchen for visitors!

    Emily2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely spot, close to Bard College. The apartment is clean and comfortable and quirky in a wonderful way. Very peaceful space. I didn't meet Gerald & Sylvia because I got in late and left early, but they were attentive by message and the check in process could not have been easier. Easy parking, comfortable bed, highly functional little kitchen, well-stocked -- what more could you want? I'll certainly stay here again.

    Amy2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gerald and Silvia's space was so nice. Fit our needs great. Great communication and an added bonus of delicious milk. Very well outfitted.

    Dalis2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Gerald & Silvia's place is a cozy, funky little studio on an upper floor, entrance in the back. It's very clean and comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere. There's a little bit of noise from the nearby highway on that side, but very quiet at night. Lots of trees around. Very fast internet. Gerald and Silvia were helpful and concerned when we had a medical problem, which was much appreciated.

    Gregory2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Gerald and Silvia's place. It's a super warm and cozy space and feels really homey. Check-in was great, and all the amenities were fab.

This is a private suite, with your own entrance to come and go as you please. The suite, in a 219 yr old eyebrow colonial, consists of one large living room with small kitchenette, decorated with mid-century modern furniture and an old farmhouse table & chairs. A separate bedroom offers a quiet night's sleep, while the full bath is highlighted with a hot steam shower option.
White walls, lots of light, original art, books galore and internet access. What more do you need? Oh, yes, a fridge and a coffeemaker.
There is a unique creative, bespoke, and food culture growing exponentially in the valley. We are within minutes to much of it. In the outdoors: 7 minutes to Stissing Mountain hike and it’s breathtaking views, 7 to the serene walk around The Nature Conservancy’s Thompson Pond, 12 to the Audubon’s Buttercup Farm Sanctuary, and 22 to Bash Bish Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in MA. There you can also find fantastic quarry swimming and a sweet kid's swim area cut out of the outflowing stream. Closer to us, swim at the beautiful beach at Stissing Lake with the mountain backdrop. Swimming holes can also be found in the Roeliff Jansen Kille, minutes from us. Kayak and row boat rental can be had at Lake Taghkanic State Park. And don’t forget berry picking! Thompson Finch in Ancram and Grieg Farms in Red Hook are two great choices. Great farmer's markets are in every town: Rhinebeck's on Sunday and Copake-Hillsdale's on Saturday are recommended. In Pine Plains, you won’t find a more cozy old inn with good food than at the Stissing House. Another Fork in the Road in Milan is quieter but always amazing. We are 15 minutes to Red Hook with terrific dining at Mercato or Modern Taco. Hudson (22 minutes from us) is overflowing with gastronomic surprises, antiques, and eclectic shops, while Rhinebeck (17 minutes) has superb options itself. Gaskins in Germantown and The Corner in Tivoli are also highly recommended. Millerton (20min), Millbrook (25min), Salisbury, CT (27min), and Chatham, NY (30min) are also charming and within reach. Good to great coffee shops exist in all the small towns including the Pine Plains Platter, Murray’s or Tivoli Bakery in Tivoli, Cafe La Perche in Hudson, The Farmer’s Wife in Ancramdale, Red Devon in Stanfordville, and Irving Farm in Millerton. World class art can be found at the Hessel Museum at Bard College, Art OMI’s outdoor sculpture park, and the Wassaic Project in Wassaic (always something interesting happening). Basilica, Time & Space Ltd, and the Hudson Opera House in Hudson also always have interesting happenings. If staying longer, Mass MOCA in North Adams, MA (1:15min away) is our favorite day trip and may want to be considered. Regular and alternative movie theaters exist in Rhinebeck, Hudson, Red Hook and Millerton. Historical sites include the FDR Library, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Val-Kill, Frederick Church’s Olana in Hudson, Thomas Cole House in Catskill, Livingston’s Clermont Manor, Montgomery Place in Red Hook, Mills Mansion in Staatsburg, and the Vanderbilt House in Hyde Park. In Winter you can ski at Catamount (35min) or Buttnernut in Great Barrington (50min). Cross country at Copake Country Club (reportedly has groomed trails and rentals available) or Art OMI, Olana and Clermont Mansion, also reportedly having trails. Sledding at Burger Hill is also a big hit with the kids. Columbia County Tourism, Rural Intelligence and Chronogram also have great online resources for ideas. Any other specific questions, please ask! The guidebook at our other listing has even more of our favorites: https://www.airbnb.com/things-to-do/rooms/8425020
  • My stay was amazing, thank you Molly & Gregg!

    Nick2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you like vintage furniture, an abundance of books to read, and cozy quiet time, Molly and Gregg's is the place to be. The property is beautiful and within roughly 20 minutes of Red Hook and Rhinebeck- two cute small towns with a lot of history and good eating spots. The property is also 40 minutes from Kingston, NY which has a beautiful historic district with Revolutionary War-era buildings. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away, Molly and Gregg's is the ideal place! I personally didn't want to leave.

    Zachary2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Molly and Gregg’s home is a fantastic get away! Nicely decorated, great artwork, a fun collection of books and very comfortable. We had a great time. And Gregg was a very warm and helpful host. We would highly recommend!

  • We had a fantastic stay at Molly and Greggs. They were so hospitable, and the apartment was adorable, extremely spacious and sparkling clean. We would definitely go back!

    Abigail2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is as beautiful as the photos and sparkling clean. We absolutely loved the tranquility of the space and found the location to be perfect for traveling to various little towns. We could have sat and read for hours. Truly a dream for any writer or creative who needs to unplug. Can’t wait to go back.

    Amber2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • An introvert’s paradise. This little home is so inviting and cozy; we got snowed in our first day here and it was wonderful, plenty of books to read and the apartment itself is so interesting. Even though it’s attached to the host’s home it feels private and pretty quiet. It was close enough to surrounding towns and the hosts had lots of great suggestions. Little details like organic tea, a steam shower, and the hosts attentiveness to clear out the snow made our stay so relaxing. What’re you waiting for? Book this place!

    Melissa2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is low key, relaxed accommodation with an absolutely fantastic library filled with books about photography and art, poetry and fiction. A cozy place to stay with a wonderful steam shower. And great hosts!

Our home is designed to be open with large windows and glass doors overlooking the woods. Feel like you are outside while being in the comfort of a newly renovated and tastefully decorated home. The hot tub on the deck can be enjoyed year round!
We bought and completely renovated this house a few years ago so that we could enjoy weekends in the country. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We’ve done it up with designer furniture and great details. The hot tub provides for great outdoor enjoyment year round, as does a very private camp fire location in the woods. Enjoy dinner or a bottle of wine on the spacious deck during spring, summer, and fall. The house is on 4 wooded acres at the end of a dirt road. Stay in for quiet seclusion. Or... enjoy the great restaurants, antiquing, and outdoor activities in the area.
The house is on a private dirt road with only a few other houses on it. There are no neighbors visible from the house, but a few near enough to feel safe. The wooded views from the house are beautiful year round! The area is full of towns with incredible restaurants, shops, history, beautiful scenery, and outdoor activities! Please send us an inquiry for a list of specific restaurants and activities that we recommend.
  • Beautiful idyllic hideaway that exceeded all expectations. The house is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, perfectly laid out, and so cozy we never wanted to leave! Heated tile floors in the main bathroom were a true paragon of luxury. This is the country house we wish we owned, and look forward to returning to someday soon!

  • Jackie is an above and beyond host! We had quite a predicament and Jackie was very accommodating and helpful! I can't thank her enough. Her home is very comfortable and a perfect little winter getaway. We definitely recommend staying here!

    Jennifer2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jackie's house looks out into the woods from a perch on a small hill. The kitchen was well stocked and there is ample space on the large dining room table. Having two baths was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nice way to unwind. Would stay again.

    Claudia2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jackie's place was great! It's such a perfect and easy getaway from the city, and the check-in process was easy! It's so peaceful and had such beautiful surroundings for those craving nature instead of a concrete jungle. Layout of the home is perfect and very group friendly. She responded so quickly so any questions I had and is so friendly. Definitely recommend.

    Melissa2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time here, we enjoyed it so much the first time around. The house is such a cozy spot with beautiful / hip touches throughout and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's especially amazing sitting in the hot tub on a snowy winter day, and warming your toes on the heated floors. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the huge porch and BBQ a summer weekend!

    Lauren2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great. Accurate to the pictures. Very cozy spot.

    Ben2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second stay at Jackie’s over New Year’s and it once again was incredible. A gorgeous house with great small touches, a well-stocked kitchen, and an ideal rural setting in the woods. Highly recommend!

  • Timothy's lakehouse is truly beautiful and has simply everything anyone would ever need for a relaxing escape. Masterfully built, decorated, and fully stocked. I couldn't have asked for a better way to surprise my girlfriend on her birthday. We'll definitely be back soon!

  • Cozy cottage in the woods feel with amazing morning views and very clean.

    John2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Truly, the coziest, quaintest nook of perfection in the heart of the Hudson Valley. This home is simply sublime, with every inch well thought out and well-designed - from the gas fireplace to the modern kitchen. Only 10 minutes from the main Rhinebeck Village, it’s still very much secluded, planted directly on a quiet, beautiful lakeside. Check-in was easy, and Tim was super easy to communicate with. Will definitely return, without question.

    Lauren2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing hidden gem. We loved our stay!

    Renee2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Timothy’s home was the perfect getaway for us. It was cozy on the inside with the fireplace and there was a beautiful view of the lake in the back.

    Kat2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time at Timothy's place and it was perfect. The cabin is so gorgeous, cozy, beautifully decorated, and has perfect views. It is well appointed, with everything you could need for a cozy weekend getaway. Also, Rhinebeck itself is super cute.

    Carly2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing getaway house! clean, spacious for a cottage & equipped with everything we needed. Host was great at communicating, check in was smooth and encountered no issues. Would love to come back.

    Karen2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Clean - comfortable - convenient. Private yet not isolated. I was looking for a stay at a lake. The house is literally 25 or so steps from the water - beautiful scenery, super clean cottage. It felt like I was stepping into a Pinterest perfect minimalist house. It's white on white (for the most part).

  • Our stay at Robert and Lee’s was short, but great. Robert was communicative and attentive, and helpful when we needed to drop cars off and check-in early. It’s clear that Robert takes pride in his house and business of hosting guests. The suite is small, but perfect for a couple or 2 adults. The coffee pot and mini-fridge (which had water bottle and half and half) were a great touch! Highly recommend staying here if you are in the Rhinebeck area.

This breezy and light filled apartment is the perfect spot to crash on your weekend upstate. Tivoli could not be cuter, and it is minutes from Bard College, Kingston, Hudson and Germantown. The apartment is located above our little shop, Winn's, a small boutique with clothing, and home goods. We feature many products that we sell in the shop, in the apartment, so that you can try things out, or enjoy using them just for the night!
One of the most lovely things about being in the middle of Tivoli, is that there is immediate access to some of the most beautiful natural spaces, while being walkable to amazing restaurants and adorable shops. You can walk through the Tivoli bays, or down to the Hudson river for breathtaking views, and you can also walk over to Hotel Tivoli and have an amazing cocktail while looking at an incredible art collection!
Tivoli is a small but bustling town- all of the businesses are on Broadway and are walkable from the apartment. We love Osaka, Santa Fe, and Traghaven pub when we go out with our son (he is 3), as they are very family friendly! For a romantic date, we love The Corner (the restaurant at Hotel Tivoli). In addition to Winn's, we also own the little general store in town, and it has all of the necessities, as well as bread that we bake! Murray's has amazing coffee and brunch, and there is also a cute little used bookstore, a yarn shop, and Tivoli Mercantile, which is a boutique with a gorgeous selection.
  • Last time we were in Tivoli we stayed at the Hotel which is great but this time we needed more space than one room. Natalie and Kazio's place is every bit as stylish and comfortable as the Hotel (and very budget-friendly!). We really appreciated the simple touches like delicious coffee and lovely kitchen tools and bath products. The second bathroom was really nice to have when traveling with a teenager, and the beds were great (I actually chose the sofa bed because it was so comfortable!). Definitely will stay here again, and hope to stay longer!

  • This was my second time staying at Natalie and Kazio's! You can't beat the location in Tivoli. The apartment is steps from coffee shops, restaurants and everything the charming town of Tivoli has to offer. I love this place!

  • This is a great place to stay in a fun and quirky little town. Above Winn’s is a wonderful addition to Tivoli and really captures the spirit of the town. Clean, comfortable and cozy with lots of light and lovely furnishings. I’ll definitely be back soon.

  • This place is an amazing option for those staying in Tivoli. The space is large, beautifully maintained, and updated with terrific decor, bed, and amenities. I’d recommend it to anyone.

  • Our stay at Winn's was perfect, the place is beautiful you have everything you need. Natalie is very nice, full of recommandations to discover the towns around and very reactive.

  • We had such a great time at Natalie and Kazio's beautiful home. The space was clean, cozy and had many creative touches throughout. The bed is SO comfortable, and tons of natural light in the apartment! We explored the charming town of Tivoli, would love to go back in the warmer months when more of the stores are open, some are seasonal. The pub directly across the street was great. Also loved the guidebook Natalie and Kazio provided. Would definitely go back and stay here again!

  • Loved our stay! Great location. Hope to stay again next year.

This is a beautifully decorated and comfortable home to relax and enjoy your visit to the Hudson Valley. Relax by the fire with a glass of wine, or out on the stone patio underneath the stars. Enjoy a quick stroll to restaurants and art galleries. 5 min drive to Bard College, 8 min drive to Dutchess County Fairgrounds and the village of Rhinebeck.
  • Melissa's home is lovely, comfortable and welcoming. The proximity to the Bard College campus was ideal for our visit during the college's family and friends weekend and gave us a cozy place to spend time with our Bard freshman. The piano was an added bonus that allowed our student to give us a private concert. Melissa is very accessible for questions and information. I would highly recommend this listing for any small group looking for a place to stay in this area.

  • Melissa's home was just beautiful! Furnished comfortably, lots of amenities (ie-cable TV and streaming services, AC, beautiful outdoor furnished patio, etc) and the home was SO clean! Melissa was easy to communicate with and the check in process was simple. The neighborhood location is terrific, located right in town. My family was able to walk to the bakery for pastries in the morning. The house was also close enough to Kingston to have some meals there as well. I would recommend this property and this host a 100%.

    Charlene2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully appointed home, excellent location. Very quiet neighborhood, but only a short walk to Main Street . Host was readily available for any concerns or questions. In all, our stay was perfect.

  • Melissa’s house is hands down the best vacation home in Red Hook! My in laws stayed there this time (previously my mother has stayed there - twice) and they were blown away by the beauty and quality of the home, as well as the well stocked kitchen and stellar location. This home is absolutely perfect - it is even stocked with a good selection of kids toys, which were a hit with the grandkids while visiting what they now call “Gram’s House”!

    Bailey2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great house and host. The house is very well equipped and laid out. Everything is clean and super up-to-date (HVAC, bathroom, kitchen, etc). The “FAQ” write-up for guests is well prepared and considered. The location is very convenient - we walked everywhere in Red Hook (diner, restaurants, coffee and pastries in the morning). Neighbors are friendly. Internet is super fast.

  • Charming, restful and tranquil. This is truly a gem in a beautiful setting. Every possibly touch is thought of from fully furnished kitchen to high end washer/dryer. Gorgeous furnishings. Highly responsive and accommodating host. Top recommendation!

    Mary2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa’s house is charming, spotless and very well equipped. She is very quick to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

    Ruth2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Melissa's place offered everything a weekend getaway possibly could! Our first impression as we pulled into the driveway was of a tidy, lovingly-maintained home. Inside we were greeted with sparkling cleanliness - not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere. The house was extremely cozy and comfortable, and offered us many places to lounge and relax - a formal living room in the front, casual great room in the back of the house overlooking a beautiful garden (flowering dogwood included!) and spacious kitchen with dining table. My friend and I were able to spread out and enjoy both togetherness and quiet as our mood dictated. We brought back food from nearby restaurants and markets and enjoyed it at the house because it was so pleasant there. We did not use the TV but were happy the wifi worked seamlessly. Access to the house was completely uncomplicated as the keys were left in the mailbox. Speaks volumes about the safety of the neighborhood in this quiet rural hamlet. A five-minute walk into Red Hook, or ten-minute drive to Rhinebeck, will provide you with all the dining and shopping you could want. Obviously the area offers much more in terms of cultural and outdoor activities so the location of Melissa's house is perfect for exploring the Hudson Valley. Melissa was staying nearby so she was a reassuring but unobtrusive presence, always available immediately through text messaging. There were absolutely no hitches, no issues, no concerns whatsoever throughout our stay. We would happily return, and hope to do so soon! Thank you Melissa for everything - it was perfect!

Bedroom & living space have futon couches that can become beds (1 queen & 1 double) accommodates up to 6 people. TV-Fridge-Microwave. Enter through main house or private sliding glass doorway that walks out to our beautiful back lawn. Upstairs use of common space includes front deck overlooking Koi pond. $125 for 1 person. Additional persons $25 each.
We have a beautiful home with large bedrooms and living spaces. The house is very secluded, hidden behind another property. Our living room is bright and airy with loft ceilings. Filled with plants- very much like a greenhouse. Common area living room has two sliding glass doors that open onto our amazing deck and Koi pond. Backyard picnic tables, bonfire area, 3 hammocks. 4 acres of land, bordering on "Little Wappinger's Creek". Grab a cup of tea/coffee and stroll around. We have free Wi-fi and a Verizon extender for improved cell phone coverage. However, wifi and cell signals can be intermittent.
We are in a secluded quiet area in Rhinebeck. The Hudson Valley is a beautiful area to begin with. Many people come to our home while taking a class at the Omega Institute; we highly recommend that you take a bit of time and see some more of the Hudson Valley while here. With the majestic Hudson River, the Catskill Mountains and our own vintage little village, Rhinebeck is a outstanding area in itself. Come and shop in our little village's many shoppes and restaurants. Antiques? We're one of the most popular destinations for antiquing on the east coast. The Hudson is lined with national and state parks, amazing historic mansions such as Mills Mansion, Locust Grove... the Poughkeepsie Walking Bridge, which spans the width of the river (incredible views) Take a short drive and see the rolling mountains of the Catskills and make a stop in Woodstock (a very cool little village). Take a longer drive to the original site of the Woodstock concert at Bethel, which again is a concert site and museum. And of course a walk or bike ride away from our home is the Omega Institute, one of our personal favorites. There are so many gems in our area that we'd love to share and hope you get to experience in your stay.
  • This was a perfect place to stay for a meditation retreat weekend. It's easy to find even in the dark -- which is not always the case with places near Omega. I enjoyed the quiet and the privacy. Comfy bed with reading light thoughtfully positioned. Good shower. Friendly hosts and sweet dogs. Thank you.

  • Linda & Ron were very welcoming and made me feel safe as a single female traveler. Their home was extremely comfortable, quiet, and provided an inviting community space (plus the dogs were nice to have around). It was also good to know I was staying at an environmentally-friendly property. I definitely would stay with them again when I plan my next trip to Omega.

  • My roommate and I stayed here for a few days to attend a weekend Omega program. The weather was in the ninties and extra humid. We were super comfortable and cool in our accommodations. I slept like a rock in the bed. Everything was sparkling clean and it was quiet in our suite. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
