Werner and his wife are super friendly and hospitable people. I was warmly received and immediately got a tour of the house. There are three bedrooms that I just had to choose one from.

On arrival even though I was a little later than planned, I'm very warmly welcomed. After touring and clear explanation of apperatuur, location of light switches and CV i could itself further explore the property. You are fully equipped, the house is spacious and clean and you feel quickly at home with the cozy decor. The bus stop is steps away and although the house is on a busy road the traffic is not bothersome. Definitely recommended if you like I need a break.

Had a truly amazing stay at Anita's home, she was a wonderful host, very attentive, full communication with us, even took us twice to the train/bus stop, had everything you could possibly need. Gelegen in een rustige woonwijk en ontvangen in zeer gastvrije sfeer, mooie moderne kamer met een prima 1-persoons bed, eigen (luxe) badkamer met toilet, een aparte kamer om desgewenst tv te kunnen kijken en een méér dan uitstekend ontbijt met vers gebakken brood, verse koffie en- fruit. Kortom zeker een aanrader!

We didnt spend too much time at home. It is Liesbeth's personal home and she works from there. We were 4 adults - the second bedroom isn't really suitable for adults but OK for kids, so maybe a family with children would be more comfortable.

Everything was the same as described in the advert. I think Liesbeth is a caring host. The surrounding makes one feel safe.

Despite the language barrier, Liesbeth was a very welcoming and very helpful host. His son also was friendly with our ;-)

We stayed at Liesbeth's house for 3 nights and everything was good. She was always in contact with us and make our check in/out easily. The first day, we had some problems with the transport and even if we arrived late she was so kind and asked if everything was ok. The last day, she gave us information about some things that we needed. The house is located in a beautiful and calm neighborhood. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you want to visit Rotterdam is not too far and if you don't have a car you just have to take into account the bus schedule.

A fine home had to sleep for the night. Easy going. Perfect!

Many thanks to Cor and Rianne! The stay was memorable! To welcome fresh apple cake that was to die for! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with much attention to detail! You feel immediately at home and the photos can hardly see the beauty of the house! We (8) girls have made with this apartment a 100% stroke of luck! We recommend that each breakfast to beech as much delicacy and especially with love prepared delicacies for little money! The surrounding landscape is ideal for cycling or walking fans! If there were more than 5 stars -the Knechthuis deserved this !!!

The house servant and especially the owners Cor and Rianne have greatly surprised us with their hospitality. We arrived and when the table was covered nicely, the candles were on and the device, all three rooms are very tastefully decorated. We were lucky with the weather, so we could swim. The cheese fondue we booked there was exquisite, we lacked nothing ... the servant house is really a must, what we have entertained.

Nettie was very welcoming. The first night she cooked wonderfully for us and also provided a nice breakfast. A nice house and a nice, clean room.

The stay was too short, so it is difficult to assess. The place is super quiet, no noise at all, unlike the sites in the city center and hotels. Nettie was very simpatica, facilitated what we ask.

We were able to communicate well in advance with Nettie. We were warmly welcomed and even got offered something to drink. The room was very neat and the next morning we were able to use the very comfortable bathroom. The dog even found us, not dog people, very sweet.

Nettie's place was neat, although nothing was ready as she warned us, everything was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Plus she was a marvelous host, and welcomed us warmly, and the breakfast was a blast! I couldn't recommend any better place if you want to stay around Rotterdam.

A nice quiet lovely neighborhood home outside of Rotterdam. Nettie was very welcoming and had a parking spot for us right in the driveway. She showed us everything we would need in the house. A very nice quiet room. The house is beautifully decorated. Two friendly little dogs. She gave us vouchers and recommendations for things to see in Rotterdam. A very nice host and a very nice place to stay.

It was more than what we expected, the rooms were nice and confortable. Lan was really nice to us and helped us get there. Its a little bit far from the center but there is a tram station near by. We spend a good time there

Warning bed bugs ... shortened stay following the bed bugs, my children are awake with lots of buttons, more hygiene in the kitchen and bathroom is poor! The host does not not call themselves into question! I advise against

Fine, quiet area close to shops. Choice of multiple beds. Unfortunately, the text "newly renovated" is not correct, it is very dilapidated house. But what I found particularly bad: dirty kitchen, bathroom and floors.

It's perfect stay, the house is in a living area, very quiet, very green, I had sound sleep! The house is super clean, and more important, we own the entire place, its great value!

Rooms South transparent, very warm, suitable for the whole family to live. Out of the trip, to be able to live in this room very happy. The landlord is a very good Chinese people, to communicate fully accessible.

Everything was fine, place quiet and clean. One negative moment - was very cold at night (thermometer showed +15). Rooms a bit old, with old furniture, but we did not stayed at home almost at all and do not need too much, so it was OK.

We enjoyed our stay in Geertrude and Ben's place. The house is in a good location for seeing some local sights by car, and close to supermarket and shops. Though there are signs that the house is lived in, we felt comfortable to relax. Michel did everything for us to find her apartment. He even came to score against because we were lost. He warmly welcomed us.

Michel is kind and helpful. The flat is well located, 5min close to the subway (20min to the center of Rotterdam). It's clean and practical. (The adress given by airbnb is not the good one, even thought it's in the same district)

It was a pleasant stay! The supermarket and the metro station were near to the apartment! It's a cozy, small apartment. We liked it. There are a lot of free parking lots! Rotterdam is a very nice city and Michel is a great host!

Margriet and Hans are such welcoming hosts and made our brief stay relaxing in their lovely home. Hans very kindly lent us bicycles and ensured we didn't get lost when finding the tram stop. Breakfast was plentiful and divine with fresh rolls, home made jam, fresh squeezed juice, cold meats/cheese and eggs. We would happily stay again and recommend. Thank you both :)

In the afternoon, after we first had a wonderful walk in Tiengemeten made, we arrived at Hans. We got coffee, info, maps etc. of the area. The next morning there was a breakfast to tell you. It was bliss! They were fun days in Barendrecht.

We were welcomed with a nice cup of tea. After a brief tour. We went to a concert in Ahoy and Hans offered to take us and pick. This was super natural. The next morning there was a fine, rich breakfast. All in all very hospitable people. Had a good stay!

Margriet and Hans saved our visit to Rotterdam after a bad experience the night before in Den Haag. We came in early and during breakfast they gave us a perfect itinerary to make Rotterdam with all useful tips in a day. When we came back in the evening there was a Margriet-homemade-soup waiting for us! The long and delicious breakfast day efter we had with them together was a real highlight for our stay. Last but not least, Hans gave our Volvo a short service and we were on our way. Better hosts are hard to find and we got fantastic 24 hours in Rotterdam! Thomas & Elaine

We spent a wonderful holiday week in Margriet. As Margriet and Hans were away during the time of our stay, we were served by Ada, which has proved its care of us. Breakfast was lovingly prepared every morning, leaving nothing to be desired. We would definitely come back. Kathleen and family

Wow! What an amazing experience! Collected from the train station by car, even though our train was late and they had to go home and come back again without any phone contact (very sorry), provided with cool drinks and a chat on arrival with explanation of how to get to Kinderdijk windmills, asked our preferred breakfast time, free bike hire! Cheap Mini bar with €1 water, privacy of own space, just had one other emergency guest across the way (working midwife) but we didn't even see her, breakfast was a lavish spread of bread, cheese, ham, boiled egg, coffee, fresh juice, fruit & yoghurt (thank you so very much!), drinks and another friendly chat when we came back from a biiiiig day and another lift back to station. Unbelievable hospitality. This is how it's done!

Mel has a lowely house in a nice surrounding. Just a ich few minutes away there is a small mall where you can buy everything you want. Also just a few minutes away is a tram station with a direct connection to the city of Rotterdam. The contact with Mel was super and helpful just as the welcome. Thanks a lot dir the great time :)

Very comfortable accommodation, very modern and the tram is not far away and opportunity to go shopping on foot. Only small bay-mol no coffee machine and it takes about 35min to reach the center of Rotterdam ... because the public transport prices vary per kilometer, it is not negligible.

This sweet little cottage is furnished with love and equipped. If you like to cook, there is a great stove, and the kitchen is very complete. Helle makes you feel that you are welcome, flowers, some fruit, a chocolate and a cold beer in the fridge. What does a man want more. Can highly recommend staying here as a base for Rotterdam.

What a super reception, tulips, biscuits, chocolate, fruit etc and even a bottle of wine! After a journey of 1,300 kilometers from France, this was great.

The apartment was very nice and cosy, well-equiped, there was literally everything we needed. Helle kept the whole place super clean, changed our sheets, towels, making beds, etc. Eventhough, we mostly just slept there, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly, the bed was amazing (woke up to great feeling everyday), supermarket close, train station even closer, few minutes to Rotterdam. We haven't seen each other a lot, but Helle was a really nice host and next time we go to NL, this place will be one of our options.

I had a nice time at Helle's house. The appartment has everything you need for a longer stay, even a coffee maker. Helle is very kind. Barendrecht train station is close so you can use Sprinter trains to get everywhere you need. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Helle's apartment. My husband and I were in the Rotterdam area for business and this suited us so well. The apartment was a home away from home feel. Everything was so convenient for us. Super quick to get on the free way, super market in walking distance and parking for our hired car. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Helle is a great person, when we asked questions about the area she was more than happy to help. My husband loved that fact that there was a coffee machine for proper coffee. The kitchen is also fully equipped, we made dinner every night instead of eating out... which was perfect for us. I would highly recommend to stay at Helle's. We will see you again soon.
