Günter greeted us very warmly, showed us the house, had some fruits, drinks and chocolate in the room as welcoming gifts. Breakfast was amazing and Günter a very attentive and thoughtful host. The apartment was as described online and the house located in a nice quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the village center and conveniently located to Coburg, Sesslach, etc. We really enjoyed our stay with Günter and would recommend this BnB anytime. Through my spontanious trip I was greatful to be able to stay with Günter. Even though i booked the day of arrival I was welcomed. He was very flexible, kind and generous. Everything was clean and nice. Greatly recommended!

Gunter was a delightful host and made us feel welcome and comfortable for our single night stay. He greeted us, helped bring our bags in, and accommodated us in every way possible. He made us sandwiches and we just sat and chatted shortly after we arrived. Although we didn't speak German and he didn't speak much English, he was very patient and friendly with us and the interaction was jovial and relaxed. He even let us pack some sandwiches the next day for our 4 hour trip to Prague. I highly recommend Gunter and his delightful home if you are passing through the area!

Wer nach einer Unterkunft im Grünen sucht oder einen Abstecher nach Bamberg plant, ist bei Carolin im Memmelsdorf an der richtigen Adresse. Meine Freundin und ich haben die Zeit in der sehr wohnlichen und vor allem ruhig gelegenen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Da wir uns jederzeit wieder dort einquartieren würden, können wir einen Aufenthalt in Carolins Ferienwohung nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmals :)

Stayed there for a weekend because I attended a wedding in the castle very close by. Was a very nice place to stay and rest: spacious and clean room in sous-parterre with comfy bed, little table and chair, flexible coat rack, long mirror, separate bath room with hot shower, toilet and sink, hairdryer and even little bottles with shampoo, soap and peeling creme; possibility to use the garden and kitchen. Robin and his wife are very friendly and perfect hosts: after picking me up at the railway station, they offered me a cold beer and shared their dinner with me. Delicious breakfast with different choices. Learnt three secret ingredients to make tasty salad dressings, a special sauce hollandaise and perfect coffee - won´t tell it here, just book and find out by yourself! ;-)

What a delightful experience! As soon as we arrived, we wished we had booked a longer stay. The room was more like a guest suite than a room, and Robin and his wife were the kindest hosts we've met on Airbnb. Once we got settled, Robin poured us a beer and showed us some great tips for Memmelsdorf and Bamberg on a map. The yard out back was quite relaxing and just lovely. In the morning, they had left us a beautiful spread for breakfast on the picnic table outside. They returned while we were at the table, and Robin made us coffee and gave us more Bamberg advice. We definitely hope to return to Bamberg, and we would definitely stay with Robin again – but for more than just one night!

Robin and Jasmine are great. I felt completed at home in their place. Their place had everything I could want and more. I highly recommend their apartment.

Very obliging and responsive contact. For two persons, the apartment is indeed spacious! Needless to say: everything in good shape and very clean. For arriving by car there is sufficient parking ground available. Insiders' tip: Bamberg is of course very nice, but pretty much nearby the accommodation there is a also an impressive castle!

The apartment was large, clean and we were incredibly comfortable! But the best were the hosts Jasmin and Robert, which we were super nice at first! Highly recommended !!

Nice place to stay near Bamberg indeeed. everything is tidy and exactly as advertised. due to the slope, the apartment is partly in the basement. (see third photograph) the hosts are nice and helpful. I do recommend !

We had an amazing weekend at this lovely flat in Memmelsdorf (Drosendorf) in Germany. The flat is just as fresh and new as it looks like in the pictures and the area is so nice and calm. Checking in late was no problem and we were taken well care of by Sonja, the neighbour in the downstairs apartment. Since we also arrived quite late in the evening, Sonja had bought a variety of breakfast products for us and the apartment was also fully equipped with coffee, tea, salt sugar etc. and all the kitchen appliances you could possibly need. The apartment is located about a 10 min drive from Bamberg, so not bad at all if you have a car (which we did). Although it is also accessible by public transport. Bamberg itself is also a great town, but it was nice to be able to get away from all the other tourists in the evening we we came back to the flat outside town. All in all we found this flat absolutely amazing and way better than any hotel! We will definitely go back here if we ever visit Bamberg again.

We had a great and unforgettable time at Edith's place. At the very beginning we got to know Sonja, a lovely and caring woman, who's been taking care for the house/flat. A personal assistance of Edith who has been managing the check-ins and outs when the host themselves was out of town. Sonja showed us around and gave us a feeling of being welcomed. We literally fell in love with the cosy flat and its neatness and warmth. It was a special, well decorated place with lots of detailled furniture such as selfmade pictures and paintings which were hanging all over the walls in every room. The kitchen was well equipped and we got free coffee and tea. Soft drinks as well as vine you could get for a little amount of money. The living room was offering a spacious flat screen tv with lots of dvd's. We got to watch "La vie en rose" and enjoyed the movie with a glass of vine. Memmelsdorf was a cute and dreamy little town with quite good hike and walking routes. We really enjoyed to experience the castle Seehof where we got to know its history and beauty. Since we were traveling by car every other town was reachable within a few minutes. It took us around 30 min. to get to the great Bamberg. A stunning city with a lovely architecture and taverns with great frankish food. Sonja and Edith were our super hosts who really cared for our needs. We made ourselves comfortable at "their" house and we were totally sure about getting there again someday in the future. Thank you Sonja, thank you Edith. There aren't enough good words to describe our stay at Edith's apartment in Memmelsdorf! It was fantastic overall! Sonja was there to greet us (she lives on the first floor of the home and looks after the space we stayed in). Edith had told us that Sonja would be there to greet us upon arrival and when we pulled up we saw Sonja waving at us with the biggest smile! She is the kindest lady and made our stay even more special. Sonja gave us a tour of the apartment, showing us the bedroom, living room, spacious kitchen and beautiful bathroom. The space itself is just how it looks in the pictures, but better! It's clean, comfortable and so pretty. Very well located- especially for us because we were going to my best friends wedding at the Giechburg castle, which Sonja showed us from the window!! The views from the apartment were also lovely. The apartment was easy to find in the town, and it was near a main grocery store and a local bakery, biergarten and shops. The bathroom was very clean, modern and spacious. The wifi was fast and worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, cups, etc. and Sonja let us know how to find and use things in the kitchen if needed. The bedroom was very, very comfortable and roomy. Lots of space. Edith and Sonja were so kind and helpful during our entire stay and made us feel very welcome and special (it was also our honeymoon and Sonja put heart shaped balloons and flower petals in our bedroom and that was such a sweet, lovely touch that we very much appreciated!). Although we didn't get to meet Edith, she was very responsive via Airbnb messages, but Sonja was there for all of our needs and was so eager to help with whatever we needed. Overall, I don't have enough space to write all the positive and nice things about this apartment. I highly recommend it if you'll be in the area! My husband just said that if this place could get 10 stars it should because it's that awesome!

We can't recommend Edith highly enough!! Edith and her husband were there to welcome us upon arrival, despite living far away from Bamberg. They gave us a very warm welcome. They have loads of information on the area in the apartment to read and/or borrow when sightseeing (in multiple languages!), and they provided us with personal tips for restaurants etc. The apartment is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well-appointed and has all the necessary kitchen utensils, as well as coffee, tea, etc. The dishwasher and washer were welcome as well! The beds were very comfortable. Although Edith and her husband live far away, they have a wonderful caretaker, Sonja, who is there if anything is needed. In our case, she was great--we both became unexpectedly ill, and Sonja took amazing care of us, going out of her way to contact a doctor and get us medicine during a public holiday. She even brought us breakfast the next day, which she didn't have to do. Unfortunately, because we were ill we didn't see much of Bamberg. But what we did see of it was enjoyable. The village where the apartment is situated is just a short drive away from Bamberg. The village is quiet but has everything you need, with supermarkets and a bakery very close by. And we look forward to having more time to check out the local breweries around next time ;-). Thanks again to both Edith and Sonja for making our weekend enjoyable, despite being sick! We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

Wir (meine 2 Freundinen und ich) haben nach einer schönen gemütlichen Unterkunft nahe Bamberg gesucht und diese definitiv auch gefunden. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich, wir wurden direkt empfangen und uns wurde alles in der Wohnung gezeigt. Alles sehr gepflegt, sauber, modern und neu. Man konnte bedenkenlos die Schlafmöglichkeiten, Handtücher im Bad und die sehr gut ausgestatte Küche nutzen. Sehr schön ist auch das immer ein Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung steht. Falls mal etwas sein sollte ist man da auf der sicheren Seite. Mit dem Auto ist man in knapp 15 Minuten in Bamberg. Vielen Dank für die schöne Unterkunft!

Jasmin und ihr Lebensgefährte haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und gleich auf der Terasse zu nem Kaffee eingeladen. Wir haben uns sofort "wie zuhause" gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und trotz Untergeschoss hell und angenehm, außerdem sehr ruhig, da sich das Haus in einer ruhigen, gepflegten Wohngegend befindet. Neben netten Unterhaltungen fühlten wir uns super versorgt und wurden auch bestens informiert, was man in der Gegend anstellen kann, wo man gut essen gehen kann oder wie man am einfachsten nach Bamberg kommt.

Sehr freundliches und nettes Paar! Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Die Unterkunft sieht viel besser aus als auf den Bildern. Vor dem Haus gab es genügend Parkplätze und die Nächte waren sehr ruhig. Die Unterkunft war sauber und liebevoll dekoriert. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr lecker. Bisher die besten Gastgeber, die wir je hatten. Vielen Dank nochmal für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Thomas' place is a real oasis. We arrived late after a long day on the road, and it was such a nice place to relax and recharge. Beautiful view in the morning, delicious breakfast and a great host - highly recommend.

It was a lovely house

The accommodation was exactly as described, very spacious and comfortable. The location is quiet but well am the motorway. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and gave us some good tips for a restaurant. All in all a top hotel, we would definitely come back and join them unreservedly recommend it!

We only had one night in the studio of Thomas. Were greeted warmly and have everything found as described herein and shown on the pictures. The place is small, quiet and secluded. The property is far too low for the comfort and services. Therefore, we can recommend the hotel with a good heart.

The communication with the hosts is very smooth and they both are very friendly and considerate. Tha apartment is even better than the pictures, very clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, the jam is a highlight. I will definitely recommend the apartment for friends.

Hello, We received a warm welcome. The facilities and the rooms were very nice partially exclusive, plenty of space and a quiet atmosphere. We were able to move at ease, which requires only a Asprache in the use of a large bath, but it worked great. What we missed is that is not so welcome to use the kitchen for cooking. We had daruf set up our food to cook ourselves, so we are forced to go eat. Also is not clear in the description that you have no separate own Breich, so room, bathroom and kitchen for own use. Ultimately but everything worked out well, it was the first time for us that we used airbnd. If I make it again I will ask the owner before exactly how and what you want and not so desirable.

A lovingly furnished apartment has fully convinced us. prepared with attention to detail, we found everything in the apartment that is needed. communication with Lisanne was excellent and straightforward. Since they unfortunately was not even at home, we could not meet in person. Maybe next time!

Veith ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Die Gespräche mit ihm waren interessant. Die Wohnung ist einfach, aber gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Sollte ich nochmal nach Stegaurach oder Bamberg fahren, werde ich wieder bei ihm übernachten.

We had a nice stay in the comfortable apartment near Bamberg. Communication with the host was courteous and straightforward.

Very clean, a lot of space, cosy rooms and kitchen. All necessary and even extra utencils on the kitchen. A lot of toys for children. Very beautful and nice details of furniture and accessiories. We enjoyed hospitality of our host famil, care about our children and us, willingness to help. Comfortable location to reach Bamberg by car but not sure about public transport. Everything is perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Спасибо большое за размещение. Очень уютная обстановка, атмосфера, желание помочь. В квартире все новое - мебель, обстановка, отделка. Куча полезных инструментов на кухне, даже детская посуда, соковыжималка для цитрусовых, все необходимое для готовки, даже специи, чай, масло. Отличного качества бытовая техника, посудомоечная машина, таблетки для неё. Исключительно чисто. Гостинная просто огромная. Дети наслаждались игрушками, книгами, - которые тоже абсолютно новые и аккуратные. Мы путешествовали на машине и нам было абсолютно удобно добираться - Бамберг в 10 минутах езды. По поводу общественного транспорта я не знаю. Дом находится в деревеньке в удалении и автобус ездит по расписанию, надо подстраиваться. Рекомендую это жилье всем, кто на машине. В следующий раз мы вернемся именно сюда!!!!!!

The apartment was nice and cozy, the pictures on here are accurate. Check in was a breeze. Natalia and Christian were very responsive and provided relevant information prior to and during our stay. Getting to and from Erlangen wasn't difficult. We had a rental, so I can't speak to accessibility of public transportation. Overall a great stay, and I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. Ps: Our toddler enjoyed playing with the toys provided. I think that was a nice and thoughtful touch.

It was a very nice stay near Bamberg. It has everything fit well - from the flexible arrival (thanks to the key safe) about the equipment to personal advice. The hosts have thought of everything: Wi-Fi, welcome beer, children's play area - and more. Have immediately felt comfortable and very happy to come back!

The apartment is very tastefully decorated, very clean, everything is new, with a great bathroom. Michael is a great host, the very hard for its guests. The town of Bamberg is well within walking distance and the two breweries and Mahrs Keesmann are right "around the corner". We would come back anytime.

Michael is a wonderful, helpful host who has the same drove me to start times by Bamberg to give me a taste of the city. That was great. Michaels apartment is even more beautiful than in the photos; bright and friendly; I felt immediately at home. For inquiries Michael was always available and check-in and check-out went smoothly and completely relaxed. A terrific stay. And in addition Michael has great tips on pubs, cafes, bakeries and many other details that make Bamberg to this beautiful city that it is. Merci many times Michael!
