Nancy is such a gracious hostess,so helpful in describing the area amenities. Her home is spotless, and everything you could possibly need, she provides. She does have two dogs Beau and Bella,but they are very well behaved. Don't pass up the chance to stay at Nancy's oasis!

Nancy is an excellent host and a great person! She was attentively there for both check-in and check-out. She also provided some sound advice on where to eat and what local springs to visit during my stay. The room was spacious with a closet to hang some items in and a comfortable bed. There are two lovely dogs there as well, both are very friendly, and we all enjoyed each other's company- pets, guest, and host! However, if dog's are not your thing then there is a gate up to keep them out of your room, and the kitchen too if necessary. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Lemon Tree House The Lemon Tree House was a great place to stay! Well equipped kitchen, which we utilized daily, complete with frozen freshly squeezed lemon juice from the tree in the yard, that we turned into lemonade. Steven also left us wine and chocolate! Beautiful Florida Room (screened/glassed porch) was lovely to sit in for breakfast and evening card games. Comfy bed, and nice bathroom. Garage was handy for storing our paddle boards after paddling. Very clean and convenient to a lot of great paddle boarding!

Steven's Lemon Tree AirBnB house is newly renovated, cozy, very charming style, beautiful yard with a good veriety if trees and an actual lemon tree with fruits. The house is very clean, stocked with basic supplies, very conveniently located within walking distance to downtown and pharmacy.

Definitely recommend Steven's place to anyone in the future. Me and my parents enjoyed a weekend getaway to high springs and steven's place was a clean, comfortable, and convenient way of doing it.

From our first contact I loved Judi and felt sure they was going to be a great rental. It was so much more as this property is a magical piece of heaven. We saw deer each evening meandering across the property and enjoyed the waterfront dock. The gardens are dotted with many little corners of blissful fun. The studio is lovely, bright, very well appointed and roomy. Being up high in the trees on the second story was not only whimsical but romantic. Judi and Mike are the most gracious host and so much like their property. She gave us fresh eggs and Mike gave my husband a tour of his car collection. This is a most terrific dog friendly property that is high on our list to return to!

a wonderful treehouse in a wonderful forest in a wonderful part of America. We passed through pretty quickly on our honeymoon and unfortunately didn't get to meet Judi but still was a great host all round. x

The perfect airbnb experience. Horsepower Farms is a magical property and Judi and Mike (and the two Portuguese Water Dogs) welcomed me warmly and made me feel right at home which was appreciated greatly due in part to the fact that I stayed there alone. Walking the grounds revealed many delightful secrets -- sculptures, resting places, little mazes, crystals -- and the Santa Fe River is right there to enjoy on my next visit in a warmer season. Treehouse was comfortably and beautifully decorated and bathroom and kitchen contained everything I needed and then some ... more provided than in other places I have stayed. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the window seat, knitting and gazing out at the beautiful property.

The property is beautiful, and the treehouse was a perfect base for me while I explored some of the enchanting local springs. It was quiet and peaceful, and Judi and Mike were delightful hosts. Judi provided fresh eggs from her chickens, and spring water from their well. My dog ran about the property with gleeful abandon, chasing several deer and squirrels. It was a much-needed escape from the busy and hot city. We will definitely be back...thank you, Judi and Mike!

Judi and Mike made us feel right at home. The Treehouse was a perfect spot for us -- we took advantage of having the Sante Fe River on our doorstep and kayaked many miles of it, with Judi helping us get our car to the takeout point. We also drove over to Steinhatchee for a day of scalloping. There is plenty to do around High Springs, or you can just chill out at the Treehouse. We'll be back next summer.

Great place to stay. We arrived after Dark, Amy even waited outside to make sure we feel comfortable. The room is clean and cozy, even has a small refrig. We'd love to go back if we come to town again!

Host was very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. Location is very apt and close to important destinations. Its a big ranch with lots of animals, clear wide sky, and proximity to nature. There is a lot the host can do to take the experience (and price point) to a whole new level by adding more amenities like horse riding, breakfast, revamped guest space, etc. But overall, a great experience.

It is a very scenic place... at night the sky was all lit up :) :) The home is very nicely decorated with antiques all over... Amy wants to update it and I hope she gets to do it soon... Her dogs are very cute too.. Especially Lulu... Amy was not at home the entire time we stayed as she was unwell but she dropped by to talk to us which was very sweet... As there was no one checking in the day we were leaving she let us check out anytime we wanted :) Thank you Amy we hope to visit again!

Were blown away by the views of nearby thunderstorm rolling by the 1,000 acre ranch. The area is super scenic and only about 5 minutes away from downtown High Springs and very close to the various springs and natural attractions. Room was perfect and Amy was a great host. This was our first time using Air B&B and it was the best possible first experience you could ever have with the service. Amy is extremely friendly and has a beautiful 1000 acre ranch with amazing views in every direction. The room was exactly as described: clean and very big, the bed was comfortable, and her place was close to all the springs in the area. Amy's ranch is only a few minutes from some great restaurants and shopping areas near High Springs. If you ever wanted to know what it's like to stay in the real country and have a warm friendly experience stay at Amy's horse ranch.

Our host and Hostess were awesome, we loved them. We had a wonderful stay Susan even made us pineapple upside down cake one night. The room is comfortable,clean, very spacious. The area is perfect it's right in High Springs you can walk a block or two and be at dining, shops or wonderful Bakery. We were only 10 minutes from Ginny Springs we had a great time.

Susan was extremely accommodating and communicative. Her place was wonderful and the room was equipped with everything you could ever need as a guest. The location was perfect- close enough to drive to Gainesville quickly but not situated in an overly busy area. We had a great time and felt very at home! Communication with Nancy was excellent, the house was very clean and charming. My friend and I were greeted by the house sitter Leean who was available throughout our stay. She was super sweet and accommodating. I enjoyed talking with her and appreciated the recommendations for dining and recreation. During the weekend I visited some of the beautiful local springs. Because of the close proximity to Gennie Springs, I thought that I would mention that Nancys is NOT a recommended "party location". At this particular spring I observed many college age students doing their summer well! I really enjoyed my stay and hope visit again in the near future.

MaryAnn and Dave greeted me when I arrived. They took the time to show me around the property and went the extra mile to get me extra information for kayak rentals. It was so nice to walk down the path and take a morning dip in Jonathan Spring while listening to the animals start their day in the forest. This charming little cabin was the perfect river getaway through sunshine and rain!

My fiancé and I stayed for a short weekend trip and ended up wishing we had planned for a week! The cabin is small, cozy, and minimalistic in the best way! Mary Ann & Dave have stocked the cabin with anything you could need. There's a fire pit and grill outside that we enjoyed each day. It's a 2-minute walk to the Santa Fe River AND to a shaded private spring (and yes, it's just as beautiful as it sounds). It's about a 10-minute walk to another larger spring. The cabin is located close to the towns of High Springs and Ichetucknee, both adorably quaint and provide options for activities (shopping, dining, tubing, etc.). Mary Ann and Dave were welcoming to us and were excellent hosts. Both my fiancé and I agreed that this was the first trip in awhile where we felt relaxed and rejuvenated after. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this space to all!

This cabin is the perfect retreat for a short get-away. The cabin is well built and had most anything you'd need during your stay. Dave and Maryann added lots of extras to help make it comfortable, including one of the best hammocks in a shaded area out front. Dave and Maryann were so flexible with our booking, and they were friendly and available to help with anything we needed. Dave even made sure we had wood ready for a fire. The spring near the cabin is gorgeous, crystal clear water. We're already expecting to be back next summer.

My husband and I had a great time at this little cabin in the woods! We grilled hamburgers one night and steaks the next night. There is a fire pit and we made s'mores. There was an extremely comfortable hammock and a little screened in porch to enjoy. A small spring is within walking distance. It was truly lovely.

This cabin is a TINY house. That is not a bad thing, though, just be aware you will be brushing your teeth in the small kitchen sink and not have a lot of room to spread out. It is TINY, but that is insignificant to the REWARD --- this is a magical place, especially if you want a get-way-from-it-all vacation, surrounded by a unique natural environment. MaryAnn and Dave are warm and wonderful hosts, and will guide you to your cabin. Once there, you can walk down the path to the spring that feeds into the Santa Fe River and begin to understand just how special this place is. If you are motivated, the options for canoeing, tubing, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. are too numerous to describe. If you just want to sit on the porch and watch and hear the nature around you, there is no better place. This cabin is why I love airbnb -- where else could you spend a couple nights in such a unique and awesome space? I would recommend to try and avoid weekends, since the river is popular and crammed at those times. And be sure and check Rum 138 at the end of the drive. Owner Doug knows the river and seemingly every spring on it, and provides rentals and shuttles at an unbelievably low price. And if you can go in April, hopefully you'll see the fireflies, which we just got to (URL HIDDEN) unbelievable treat.

Peaceful place to take a breath and enjoy the outdoors. Take a nice morning walk to Rum Island Park to get your day started. Paddling opportunities abound. Fun restaurants in High Springs - make a point to try The Great Outdoors. MaryAnn and Dave are gracious hosts. You will want to stay one day longer the morning you are scheduled to leave.

Our trip to the Rum Island Cabin was wonderful! MaryAnn and Dave were very welcoming and accommodating even though we got in a bit late on Friday night. The Cabin is great- has everything you need and nothing you don't. Perfect weekend get away. My boyfriend and I visited here for our 4 year anniversary and it was perfect. Very short stroll to the river and a small spring, the another stroll to a larger spring which we swam in. Great weekend!

This is a beautiful place, Pam and Lance made us feel like we were home. We had a great time at the turtle place and would recommend it to anyone who likes spending time relaxing!

My experience in this place was amazing. The place is surrounded by nature and trees, very peaceful. All you can hear is the birds. It is a beautiful place to stay and I cannot wait to come back. The front porch is my favorite place to sit down and watch nature. The outside shower were an amazing experience as well. I highly recommend it. The beauty of this place is priceless.

AMAZING! The Sante Fe river and its many springs are really beautiful and Pam and Lance's place is right on the water. The set up was perfect, even better than described. The RV was clean and comfortable and private, although we spent most of our time kayaking the river or cooking on the deck. The outdoor shower was a nice touch, private, secluded, heated. We rented kayaks through RUM 138 which has a shuttle service that brought us and our kayak right back to the RV. We couldn't be more impressed with the hospitality and overall friendliness of Pam and Lance and Doug and staff over at RUM 138. Highly recommend! Thanks, again, Pam and Lance!

My mom and I loved our stay at the Lazy Turtle Palace - short stroll from our porch to lovely Santa Fe river - Bought water Floats from Rum 138 and floated for 1 1/2 to Rum Springs - so relaxing! Was wonderful to sit in chairs on the dock early in the morning and as the sun was setting. We love camping so being in a Travel Trail was a treat, the porch was great for hanging out and visiting with our Daughter from Univ of Florida. Pam was very easy to communicate with -very responsive.

This was perfect for our girls getaway. Loved the dock on the river for morning coffee and evening cocktail. Perfect location for floating down the Ichetucknee and kayaking the Santa Fe. Local vendors treated us warmly after they found out we were staying at the Turtle. Can't wait to return with my family soon!

My husband and I stayed at Turtle Palace. It was wonderful! The accomodations were great, the outdoor shower, heavenly. Prior to our trip, Pam was quick to get back to me to answer all my questions. Lance and Skipper greeted us on arrival and showed us to our place-giving us a very informative book about the property, the river and the springs, local places to see, etc. Lance greeted us when we got back from our kayaking trip and let us leave our gear at the main lodge instead of lugging it back and forth. Pam recommended Rum 138 for renting a kayak; they were great. We are planning another trip to Fort White and are definitely booking with Pam and Lance

A great place with great hosts. We would definitely stay at the Turtle Palace again. After having stayed at other places in High Springs over the past several years, the Turtle Palace was a pretty choice stay for us due to the direct river access, close proximity to the major springs along the river and a clean, pretty big, comfortable RV with its surrounding covered wood deck. Being campers we really liked the outside showers but there is an inside one in the RV if that's not your style. thank you Pam for making us welcome at your place on the River.

Has a great stay near the springs enjoying some quiet during this stay.

Highly overpriced. Has a long dirt driveway with potholes so not the best for low vehicles more for SUV and trucks. Lists floats but does not have pump to inflate them so you will need to bring one or drive somewhere like we did to inflate. Life vests are very small (even adult most are Small size in adult), smelled & covered in mildew. Fire ants are EVERYWHERE in the yard so watch your step we got bitten numerous times.

Our stay at Firefly Acres was an incredible experience and Niladri is an outstanding host. It's my first AirBnB stay and for any future trips to the Fort White area I'll definitely be checking for availability at Firefly Acres first. Definitely recommended to any families or small groups!

We had a wonderful time at Niladri's fort white home. Home was very clean and tidy. Fully equipped. Beautifully decorated with a bunch of crystals which gave the home a very delightful energy. Comfy, Quaint and Clean! This place is perfect for any season. We rented it when visiting family for Thanksgiving, but it would also be perfect for summer trips, near to all the springs and outdoor activities. Not much cell service, which created a nice way to unplug from my workplace.

All the essentials you may need are provided by the hosts. We spent the weekend at the beautiful local springs, kayaking, tubing and snorkeling. We also went to the nearby town of High Springs for dinner and drinks at The Great Outdoors restaurant, with awesome live music. Wonderful trip for my husband's birthday! We would definitely come back and stay here.

First of all; Shame on you!!!!! By far the worst experience we've had, EVER!! Your property is disgusting, not taken care of and it's absolutely shameful of you to scam people the way you are. We couldn't shower, brush our teeth let alone wash our hands with that disgusting infected water!!! On top of that the whole house is infested with spiders. The futon? What futon.. most uncomfortable thing I've ever had to sleep on. It's broken barely any mattress left and all you feel,literally, is wood!We went to use the air mattress.. what air mattress, had a huge whole!! It is so inconsiderate that you would sit here and try to charge me for cleaning knowing how disgusting your property actually is!!!! We left those dishes because we were NOT going to use that disgusting contaminated water!!!!!! You already charged a cleaning fee and we will NOT pay for anything more than we already have. We might as well have been camping out in the woods. I would've rather bathed in the Santa Fe river than bathe in your property !! Shame on you!!!

Loved it! Our host made us feel right at home every day and made our visit stress free. We enjoyed the morning visits of many deer outside through our window or sat outside to listen to the sounds of the night forest... amazing setting. Cant wait to go back to it to escape the city jungle.

Susan is a wondrous, responsive host and the cottage is exactly as it is described and looks in the pictures. We wanted serenity and there couldn't be a better description of the land and the cottage. Very quickly, the cottage became 'home'.

This is a lovely cozy cabin in the woods.. the feel of fresh air with the scent of oak trees was just perfect.... wonderful for 5 people, that went tubbing at the close by state parks

June's home and spacious back yard is the perfect retreat from city life. We were in the area to go tubing, what fun! The post stated that dogs are welcome and could not be more true. June even offered to let my pup Grace out while we were out all day and play with her dog. She joined my friend and me for a happy hour chat on her back patio and we were tickled to get to know her and totally enjoyed her company and conversation! The guest room and bathroom are spacious and lovely. June assisted us with local restaurants, using her Apple tv, shopping and even asked when I would like her to make coffee for me in the morning :) Wow, customer service! This is an easy, casual, clean and lovely space for 1 or 2, and your furry kid(s). I highly recommend staying with June if you are in her area.

We stayed at this rental while our daughters' played in the State Softball Tournament in Newberry. We enjoyed the accommodations very much and Busy and her mother Cindy were great hosts. They were easily reached and were always asking if there was anything we needed. The house was clean, there was plenty of room for our family and there was plenty of room out front for the kids to play and burn off energy. The only negative of our trip was that we did not get to take advantage of some of the local springs and enjoy the area as much since we were at the softball field most of the time.

The lodge is a beautiful place to stay. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in, as there were Oreos and fruit left for us. The view from the front porch is astonishing, pictures do not do it justice. I highly recommend staying here if you'll be in the area. About 20 minutes away from ginnie springs! Communication with the host was very prompt. We are looking forward to the next time we are in the area because we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

We had a most lovely stay. The house is in a very beautiful rural location, yet within a short drive to many sites we were interested in (e.g. Poe's Springs). It was very clean and bigger than we expected with a big well equipped kitchen and a huge master bathroom. We loved little gifts left for us (a basket of fruit and a jar of freshly roasted peanuts) and the hosts attention to details (nice candles and decor). Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.

Very close to I 75 Simple combinations that are clean private and quiet ! Oh wait… There was the bull in the morning that was calling to the other cows. How lucky to be off in the peace and quiet of a farm with animals. Loved it!!!

This place was the best BNB I have ever been too. Our hostess Stephanie was quiet the hostess. I felt very much at home. She prepared us fresh food from her farm. The food was grear. She was very nice hostess. She showed us around her beautiful farm. She has beautiful patio and a garden to view while you relax on the patio. The bed was very comfortable. This place is very rural and a very safe place to stay. It is easy access to Intersate 75 if you are traveling.

Steph was the perfect host. She is a natural at including you in her day or leaving you to yourself. My friend and I stayed to visit Ginnie Springs two days in a row but my favorite part was Steph's animal friends. Breakfast was so yummy too. A true BNB.

Steph, has a marvelous little place away from the lights and traffic of the city. She was a gracious, engaging and informative hostess. I was impressed with how tidy and neat everything was where I stayed. I enjoyed walking the grounds and admired all the work Steph has done to make that place hers. I was comfortable and appreciated the time Steph took with me to share info about the area and I even got to go to a yoga class at the Temple of the Universe and later hear Mickey Singer speak. Pretty cool! Finally, Steph prepared for me a great breakfast that included eggs from her chickens and local milk and other homemade additions that made for a yummy breakfast. I hope you get the chance to stay at Steps place. I hope I can return soon.

This is a welcome respite from the boring and bland motels on the road. You will be in a cozy room with beautiful gardens and farm animals around you. Stephanie is a gracious hostess with great Communication to make sure you have everything you need!

Stayed here after a long day of a workshop and it was the perfect place to wind down and relax. I slept soundly in a room that has expanded views into the gardens. (However, if you need it dark, there are great bamboo Roman shades to block the light.) Delightful country place with farm animals. Steph is a vibrant, gracious hostess and cooks a full English breakfast. I felt quite pampered. I will definitely return and look forward to my next visit.

We traveled south to snorkel in the springs, so Daniel's home was the perfect fit. His home is right down the road from a few of them, our main attraction being Ginnie Springs. Like .3 miles, it was awesome. Daniel made us feel very welcome with a "my home is your home attitude". When I was making a sandwich, I even asked him if I could have some of the pickles in his fridge and he said, "you can have as many as you want." Very friendly and welcoming. He also has an adorable and cuddly little boston terrier, which makes any home even more lovely. The house was very clean and well organized.

Daniel is an amazingly kind host. His home is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It's a prime location to explore the Santa Fe river and all its beautiful springs. And High Springs is close by wit its small town charm. Great antique stores!

Our stay at Daniel's was great and relaxing. We wanted to be close to the springs but we weren't interested in camping outdoors in the middle of the Florida summer so his location was great. He has a very comfortable home with a huge backyard perfect for any activity. We were appreciative of being able to bring our dog with us and it worked out great. Daniel and his girlfriend were very informative and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in this area!

We had a great time at Daniel's place. The location of his house is well located, everything was clean and comfortable. He is a nice and friendly host. His dog is so lovely and adorable. An amazing first experience in an Airbnb.

I had a great stay. Daniel was an awesome host. Everything was really clean and organized. Daniel and his girlfriend gave me great suggestions of his favorites places to eat in town. The coolest thing is that his house is literally just 5 minutes from Ginnie springs, and it's beautiful! I also loved his dog (Bailey), she is so cute and friendly. I would definitely stay at his house again!

From the start, Daniel was kind, polite, and communicated effectively. It was a cozy and clean home right next a lot of great springs. Probably the best first airbnb experience we could possibly have, and I will definitely be coming back to Daniel's place if I am ever in that area again. Was an amazingly friendly and helpful host and person in general !!(and had the cutest dog ever).

Daniel is super kind, friendly, open-minded host. We really enjoyed talking with him! His dog, Bailey, is also super cute and friendly! The house is clean, well-decorated, and the bed is comfy, literally everything is perfect!! Those who are interested in springs, wanna take a rest during road trip, or if you just wanna relax yourself in a cozy house and safe, quiet environment, you really should stay here!! Highly recommend!!!
