We strive to create a clinically clean environment , OZONE generators sterilise the interior between guests Exclusive , leafy residential area, secluded with private garage parking . I also have concerns about people coming to my place ; for safety of all , after an extensive clean , we are treating all the contact points ( door handles , switches etc ) with alcohol , surgical gloves throughout and exit entry through the rear courtyard door
A modern fully equipped kitchen ,with washing and drying , also provided with a range of essentials . A comfortable, full size , Italian leather Sofa Bed , situated SEPARATELY in the living room , extends the capacity easily to four people , if required Unlimited Wifi with Apple i Mac OS El Capitan , drinks cabinet , a guilded warm rain shower room stocked with hotel quality towelling and toiletries , Underfloor heating , a hidden security box , free secure parking in our private garage with automatic roller door . . The bedroom features a king size bed with orthopaedic mattress and hygiene protector always fully laundered bedding , multiple cushions and pillows . You'll find the area secluded and private , the ancient Town of Holywood is five minutes walk through leafy lanes , full of pubs ( Dirty Duck, Betty’s ) and restaurants , Belfast is six minutes away by car and train . Set in the Holywood hills ,with fishing lakes , forest walks and Equine stables , beside the beautifully maintained Ballymenoch Park , within easy reach of Belfast City yet providing a clean air, quiet retreat . Before CoVid.... ... if you're staying Saturday ..?, I would visit St George's Market , early if possible , open from 8:00am and closes around 2:00pm , it's a vibrant microcosm , great food , artisan producers of everything from coffee roasters to chocolatiers and heritage oyster and beef farmers , live music , and the weird and wonderful ; after that , the Titanic exhibition is well worth a visit , close to the apartment , the Folk and Transport museums are fascinating , in the evening , the " craic" is in Cathedral Quarter Belfast , music live performance workshop style , great pubs and restaurants - a favourite is Duke of York or Sakura Japanese Sushi in Botanic By the way , the apartment was built in the year Darwin was at Galapagos ..,

  • Our 2nd Visit to this property in a couple of months.. We as a family of 5 love this property/location. With a 15 year old with us the wifi is fast and faultless. For the younger 2 (3 &10) the beech is a 3 min walk away for the sandcastle building.. I personally love the coastal walk, along with Crawfordburn park 5 mins away... in short it is a must.. Thanks Billy &Jackie your both stars

  • 2 Adults a teenager and 2 kids enjoyed very much our time here in this property in Helen's Bay.. The property is easily found and a 2 min walk from the beach and the beautiful coastal/crawfordsburn park walks. The property is upside down living accommodation with a large and spacious open plan kitchen- living room with plenty of space for the 5 of us.. When I say this property comes with everything.. literally all you need are your clothes and food. There is even a picnic set incase the notion takes you. Master bedroom is large with a great en suite, the 2x single room again is spacious with a lovely en suite. The single bed is upstairs with a lovely sea view.. I could go on and on but the best thing to do is check it put for yourself. Whilst we were there we booked a 2nd trip in August, to which my 10year old daughter said, "at least I don't have to be sad to leave, because I know I'm coming back!"

My home is unique as it is deceptionally spacious, bright and very tastefully decorated. I also allow pets as long as they are house trained and aren't reptiles!! and a pet minding service is available for a reasonable fee if perhaps the owners are attending a wedding during their stay. My garden is also fully enclosed to keep your beloved pets safe. There is a brick driveway which can accommodate 2 cars.

  • Linda has a really lovely place and she is such a great host. I stayed for three weeks and I was so sad that I had to leave! If there was anything I needed, Linda knew where to find it or even took care of it herself and got it for me. Her house has everything you need for a pleasant stay and it was very clean. Her two little dogs are just a nice extra as they are lovely and funny at the same time :-) I definitely recommend Linda's place and would come back any time!

This bright, clean and spacious house is right in the town centre, near to cafes, marina and parks, and literally two mins from the bus/train station. I would be delighted to welcome people from all backgrounds to enjoy my place and its little garden and patio, and use it as a base for exploring all that our coastal area has to offer, from our own cafes and local festival events, through little bays and beaches to the buzz of Belfast with the Titanic centre and nightlife.
The house has been newly refurbished (spring 2017) so is fresh and clean and insulated throughout, with double glazing, luxurious walk in shower and a top notch new boiler, you'll be comfortable and cosy all year round. The kitchen is entirely new, and opens though sliding doors to patio, also accessed from dining room. Two double bedrooms and a single, but the living room also has a queen sized sofabed which could sleep two, though I've listed it as one.
My house is only a few minutes walk from the coastal path that follows our coastline far in towards Belfast in one direction and the Ards peninsula in the other. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance from my place, some gourmet and award winning, some relaxed and family friendly. I've marked them on a map which I leave for guests. Our neighbourhood is an up-and-coming area of Bangor's town centre, near a large regeneration site which currently houses a shipping-container artists' studio initiative called Project 24, (URL HIDDEN) which is worth a wander round. The street itself is quiet and residential; as it's near town it's occasionally used as a route by home-going pub visitors, but I have young children sleeping there regularly and they haven't been woken at night yet!
  • A great place to stay, very comfortable and so convenient for everywhere in Bangor Would recommend to anyone

    Carla2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely 3 nights at Simon’s place. Great communication & directions from Simon who was really accommodating in helping us to check in early. The house was spotless, cosy , & had really comfy beds , as well as lots of extras in the cupboards and fridge . Great location & quick to get to the pool, and the air hockey in the shed was great for the boys to switch off between swims .

  • A very clean and tidy house, well appointed, great situation so close to the town centre and the marina, quiet location and parking outside the front door

    Stuart2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Simon is incredible. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. The neighborhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distances. However, it was very quiet when you were in the house. It was walking distance to shops, and it was close to the train and bus station. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Bangor.

    Julienne2020-02-11T00:00:00Z

Situated on the coastal path and a stones throw from Bangor Marina this cosy one bedroom annex is perfectly placed to explore Bangor, Belfast, the Ards Peninsula and the beautiful North coast. The annex is a five minute walk to the town centre via sea path and there are frequent train links to Belfast and beyond. There are an abundance of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and ice cream parlours on our door step and guests are welcome to borrow our family bikes to further their explorations.

My home is fresh and clean and the double bedroom although not overly big has a really comfortable bed, TV, free WiFi, towels, linen etc. There is no wardrobe in the room, however I have hooks on the back of the door and have provided coat hangers. To date my guests have found this satisfactory. I will welcome you personally on your arrival and will provide you with tourist information, train time table etc. Breakfast of juice, cereal, toast & marmalade or jam and tea / coffee is included in the price. If you fancy a full cooked breakfast you need to let me know in advance and there is an additional charge. Laundry facilities including iron are available, also use of hair drier if desired. I leave toiletries in the bathroom for guests use so you don’t need to bring shampoo and conditioner. You are very welcome to enjoy my garden which is south facing, a lovely peaceful oasis where you can relax after a busy day. (smoking is permitted in the garden)
My home is in a quiet residential area approximately 6 minutes walk from Bangor West train station for access to Bangor town and Belfast where you can link into trains for rest of Ireland. It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel from Bangor to Belfast and there are lovely views over Belfast Lough to enjoy on the way. Bangor is a seaside town and there is a beautiful coastal path approx 10 minutes walk from my home which runs from Bangor to Holywood . There are several golf courses in the area, along with restaurants pubs and coffee shops. Approx. 10 minutes walk up Innisfayle Drive there is a great Spar grocery shop which also offers home bakery goods, fresh vegetables and meat along with the usual newspapers sweets and cigarettes. Beside it there is an ATM, hairdressers, prize winning fish and chip shop, coffee shop and Chinese Takeaway. The Bryansburn Inn is approx 10 minutes walk, near Bangor West station if you fancy a meal in their restaurant, they also serve bar food which is very reasonably priced.

  • Such great extra hospitality, we hit it off instantly. I felt totally at home here. Beautifully set table for breakfast and slice of homemade apple pie to take away with me. Which I enjoyed down at Strangford Lough. Just made some new memories!

  • Susan is a very kind and caring host. Everything was perfect: easy agreement, lovely and clean room, delicious and large breakfast. Furthermore she changed our money from Euro to Pounds because we didn't thought of that at all before our trip. Thank you again! If we ever come to Northern Ireland again we will hope to stay there a second time.

  • Staying at Susan's was amazing. She is so kind and welcoming! The room is lovely, and her garden is amazing. She is very helpful with local tips and is wonderful to have a chat with. It's very close to the train, so it's easy to get around even if you haven't a car. The dogs are adorable and cuddly as well, and I absolutely loved staying here.

The room got everything we need, the coffee/tea making facilities, bathroom with huge bathtub, the towels, sofa, dining table and TV. What we love the most is the warm, cozy and clean bed, the soft white carpet and the fur rug. The large glass window by the dining table over looking the garden is a nice addition. The room give us warm and homely feel. You could even see the sea a bit if you step out into the garden or outside the house. • Lilia's home was absolutely beautiful, it was spacious, homely and inspiring, loved the wooden interior and beams, full of interesting decor, furnishings and cosy nooks! Lilia was an amazing host and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The generosity of her hospitality was outstanding! The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful!! Loved the views from our rooms and all the live activity amongst the chickens, hens and roosters! The backdrop of hills and sheep just added to the outlook. The location was very quiet and peaceful, near to Carrick beach and just a few miles from Carrickfergus and the castle. Lilia gave lots of helpful suggestions for exploring the local area. Would highly recommend Fox Heaven (such a great name!) and would love to stay again if back in the area.

  • Foxhaven B and B is a charming two-story home. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are warm and clean and Liliana was gracious, methodical and fastidious. The full Irish breakfast were served in the downstairs kitchen at the time of our choosing. We departed for touring after breakfast and returned after dark. Liliana assisted us with reheating our take away food. We slept well in the peace and quiet.

  • Caroline's Appartement was perfect for us to see Belfast. There is an own entrance, a room with two beds where you sleep in very well, your own bathroom and a little studio to relax, which we didn't used because we were all day on tour. The neighborhood is very quiet. We stayed two nights and with a car it is about 15 mins to reach the city center. We haven't seen Caroline, but we were always in contact with her, all was perfect and easy! We would stay there again! Highly recommended!

    Andrea2019-08-05T00:00:00Z

It is really central to Bangor town which is brilliant and has the additional bonus of the private garden to sit in if you get the weather or if not a nice comfy sofa and cosy electric fire to warm you up!

  • A lovely little studio in Bangor, more than enough space for the two of us. Affordable and very close to travel links.

  • If you are looking for a simple “rustic feel” very well located place in Bangor, this is a great choice. Comfortable bed (even for my injured back, spring mattress but good quality). Well prepared space for a great weekend!

  • I would highly recommend staying here as it's a lovely private clean modern BnB. I had a wonderful time here and will be back again. It's clean and cosy and being in town it was easy to get about.

This beautiful home is quiet and very private. The accommodation is luxurious and very comfortable and as shown in the photos there is a variety of bedrooms. There is a shared kitchen and tea/coffee, and breakfast basics. The sitting-room is shared, and has a cosy open fire in winter. There is wifi, fresh towels, and beautiful gardens along with private parking.
We look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible! Thank you, Tim
There is a beach two minutes walk away from the house and lovely coastal walk too. Also Any guest that has stayed here never wants to leave;-) Gweebarra has been described a a Sanctuary. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens especially old trees. Holywood is very close by and has shops, several bars and some lovely restaurants which can be recommended.
  • Tim’s place is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in.... a beautiful house in a quiet, tranquil location with lovely clean, spacious rooms. There are so many thoughtful touches too - Tim has thought of everything, and more! We were in Belfast for a festival and only had one night at Tim’s place but I would love to spend a week there. Breakfast was included and yet again, lots of thoughtful touches. I was so happy to have toast and Marmite! :) What makes this place so great though is the host - Tim is a fabulous host, so warm and hospitable. He felt like a friend and we were truly sad to leave. I would go to Belfast again just to stay here and would highly recommend to everyone. Thanks so much, Tim. :)

  • This Airbnb property is an absolute gem! Tim is an excellent host and highly attentive to the needs of his guests. The house is very welcoming and I felt at home immediately. Tim's two dogs, Zac and Reuben are adorable and add to the the relaxed atmosphere of the household.

  • Amazing house. Fabulous host. Great price. What more could a girl want! Tim is the host with the most. A dog lovers paradise, both labs are Tims babies and soooo cute. This is a seriously tasteful home with high end accommodation. You won't be disappointed. The photos do not do it justice. Thanks for a great week Tim. Hope to return again.

  • Tim is an exceptional host and has a stunningly beautiful property. The rooms are all decorated to a high standard and the property is laid out so that guests can congregate in a large open plan kitchen/living room or can retreat to their own luxurious rooms. Tim has a number of interesting pictures and art works on the wall. He is an interesting and funny storyteller and I recommend anybody that stays to join him for a cup of tea and a chat. Thanks again Tim! John
