  • My partner and I loved this place! 😊 As soon as we walked in - the place was toasty warm, cosy and snug. We loved that the place had heaps of character with lovely wooden beams, loved the stylish touches that the host had placed in the decor of this bijou. This place was the perfect retreat to escape and we loved that the bed was super comfy too. Overall, we had a beautiful stay here and thank James for letting us stay at his apartment (and even a late check out as well). Would definitely love to come back to this place again 💜

  • Fantastic location, just enough out the way of the bustle yet easily accessible. Cosy and warm. Very homely. Perfect getaway! Loved it!

  • A beautiful and cosy little flat, perfect for a countryside getaway. The heating was great, keeping the space warm even in winter! A great place to stay whether you want to go hiking in the moors or have the convenience of a little countryside village.

    Elspeth2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is really nice, warm and welcoming. Tv with netflix, all the comforts for the kitchen. The only flaw is the cleaning of some dishes and the sink in the bathroom which did not have hot water (the shower instead yes). The apartment is a short walk from the center of Haworth, perfect for visiting the city, there are also many shops and restaurants nearby. Even if the street the house overlooks is totally dark. Overall, however, we are very satisfied!

    Francesca2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. It's a very comfy place with everything we needed. A short walk into the town and lots to do nearby.

  • Sara welcomes you in the more heartwarming fashion in her house. She provides you with a simple and comfy single room with free access to a clean bathroom and a well furnished kitchen. All is done to make you feel at home. The proximity with a pub cooking good food is also a plus. I strongly recommand Sara's place to any single traveller wishing to visit the area.

  • I had a great stay with Sara. She is very welcoming and easy to talk to. Stanbury is very small and has no shops, but with a regular bus I could get around easily. Lots of opportunity to go hiking around the village.

  • The room was comfortable and compact as per picture. I loved my sleeps and the quietness and the whole house is sooooo cute! Amazing host and great smelling towels!! Had great food in pub across the street too. I’ll be back Sara!

  • A beautiful location & welcoming host. I was made to feel at home. The household is very quiet and has great views out the back, although the bedroom itself has a little traffic noise. Very good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great location in Haworth town centre, very stylish little cottage I would definitely recommend to anybody staying in the area.

    Kirsty2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. We found comfy beds, an inviting living room with lots of things to occupy with, well equipped kitchen, and lots of information about the area. Parking on the bigger road nearby was no problem (even with a bigger car). High street, Bronte Personage museum and pubs close by. Just take into account a very steep/small staircase if you're less mobile.

    Louisa2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to stay. Very central and easy to access.

    Maree2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect little cottage in a great location to see all Haworth has to offer and Lina gave us some great recommendations, our favourite being The Hawthorn, which Lina had said was hers too. So many nice cafes and pubs to check out and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Cobbles and Clay Deli. The Haworth Old Hall had a pop up gin bar in a marquee which was great. The Bronte Personage Museum was so interesting and well worth a visit and we took a the steam train through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The Cottage was clean, bright and had a fab shower and really efficient heating. Lina had left tea coffee and milk which was thoughtful. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and oh so quiet and peaceful. The communication was brilliant and I think the key safe is a great idea, first time I had used this with airbnb but what a brilliant idea. We would definitely return.

    Val2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy, cosy, clean and reasonable place close to centre of Haworth. Really enjoyed our stay.

Folly Cottage is a quaint and quirky stone-built, mid-terrace period property in the heart of the picturesque village of Haworth, so provides an ideal base from which to explore this gorgeous part of West Yorkshire with easy access to Hebden Bridge, Skipton, and Harrogate.
Folly Cottage combines a contemporary feel with original period features including exposed stone and beams, flagstone flooring, feature fireplaces, and the original stone staircase. The two-floor accommodation comprises of a double bedroom, a shower room with a newly-installed soaker shower, basin, and WC, and a compact but well-equipped fitted kitchen. The comfortable sitting room, with dining area, has a large feature fireplace with a multi-fuel stove, so guests can relax in front of a real fire and listen for the distant sound of the steam train whistle. At the rear of the property, there is a small outdoor seating area, and to the front, there is roadside parking for one car. Folly Cottage has a selection of books and games for entertainment, and Wi-Fi, a Blu-ray player, and Smart TV which enables guests to connect to Netflix and other streaming services.
Haworth is famous for its association with the Bronte Sisters and the heritage Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, and Folly Cottage is just a 5-minute walk from the historic cobbled Main Street which is home to a wealth of independent vintage shops, galleries, cafes, bars, and restaurants, and the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Haworth has a vast array of annual events such as the 1940s Weekend, 'Hawortheen', and the Christmas Torchlight Weekend, so there is always a reason to visit whatever the time of year! Situated above the Worth Valley on the edge of the Pennine Moors, a stay in Haworth also offers breathtakingly beautiful moorland walks and cycle routes right on the doorstep, and popular sights and landmarks include Haworth Moor, Top Withins, and the Bronte Bridge and Waterfall. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and the surrounding towns and villages were used in the 1970s film adaptation of Edith Nesbit’s book ‘The Railway Children’, so there is the opportunity to take a nostalgic step back in time and see some of the most iconic locations from the story on a choice of two Railway Children walks.
  • Stephen & Emily are brilliant hosts and Folly Cottage is a fantastic place to stay. It’s unique and brilliant. Howarth is a lovely little village and you can immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of it but still be well linked to the big towns and cities like Bradford and Leeds whether that be by car or public transport, whilst retaining the peace and quiet you’d wish for when staying away from home. Spotlessly clean and really interesting touches dotted around the cottage. A tv with full range of capacity (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) The bed is also so comfortable and a really good strong and warm shower system, which is vital for trips away. On top of that, I was left kind welcome gifts to make my stay that little more personal and enjoyable and everything was thought of and every base covered in ensuring I had the best time possible. Will be returning in the future no doubt!

    Marc2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely well worth the money, home from home. Spotlessly clean perfect location and great communication from the hosts

  • This is a really lovely cottage, within minutes of the Bronte Parsonage and the Main Street. The place is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and ideal for an escape. Stephen and Emily are excellent hosts: quick to reply to messages and they’ve made sure that there’s everything their guests will need in the property. I can highly recommend!

  • We stayed at this cottage during storm Dennis, there was still plenty to do and the cottage was cosy and warm. Great weekend stay!!

    Dickon2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place to stay - warm, cosy, comfortable and within 5-10 mins walking of everything in Haworth. Tastefully furnished, beautiful feel to the cottage, with everything you need. Quiet, peaceful, clear skies at night. Fantastic.

    Simon2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Just returned from an amazing stay at the cottage. The location is outstanding only 3 mins walk to the bottom of the main cobble street. The cottage inside is lovely, very welcoming and cosy. Everything you need is provided and everywhere very clean. The wood burner is fab for cold winter nights and there is a smart tv which was a bonus with lots of DVD’s if fancy a night in. The fish shop 2 doors down from the cottage I would definitely recommend also lots of local takeaways too the enjoy. I would also recommend the local butchers 2 mins walk away. They do lovely hot sandwiches which we had for breakfast and cold sandwiches if planning some lovely walks. There is lots of local walks to enjoy and some lovely pubs within mins walk away to enjoy. The commutations with the hosts were always quick and very informative. I would definitely be recommending the cottage to family and friends. Thanks to Stephen and Emily and can’t wait to return.

  • Lovely cottage

    Amy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed a lovely get away here. Communication and booking was so quick and easy, and the self check-in makes time pressures non existent. The cottage is lovely, very well presented, and has the added treats of flowers, breakfast cereals and a couple of welcome offerings in the fridge. I was travelling with my dog and although there is no garden there's a public footpath opposite (at the road junction) leading to a grassy area and beyond. An easy 5 minute drive to Haworth (lots of dog friendly places) and a couple of minutes walk to local shops.

Steeped in literary history, Haworth, a pretty village with a cobbled main street with independent shops, cafés, pubs and galleries, is located just 2 miles away. Oxenhope itself has a convenience store, churches and pubs serving good food, as well as being known for the legendary Oxenhope Straw Race. Wonderfully artsy Hebden Bridge, also home to the National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags, can be reached either by car or good public transport links in around 15 minutes. The market town of Skipton, otherwise known as the ‘Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’, can be reached in around half an hour. Fantastic cycling routes from the front door. We are located directly on the Tour de France Grand Depart Route. Also great mountain bike and running routes on which we can offer assistance.
  • Beautiful place all round. Lovely and peaceful only a 5/10 minute walk into the village. Beautifully decorated throughout and wanted for nothing. Fantastic hosts always on hand and even left walking tips. A most welcome welcome gift on arrival was a lovely touch. The old steam railway in Oxenhope was a unexpected treat, there was a stop at Haworth. Excellent. Would highly recommend *****

The house was beautiful, sparkling clean and I couldn't think of a single amenity that wasn't provided. Also the beds are sooo comfy. We did the 7 mile Bronte Falls walk which I would highly recommend, or the 44 mile Bronte Way walk would be great if you had from dawn till dusk to walk! Ahh goodness, I could go on and on. We'll definitely be back!

  • We had a wonderful stay at this cosy cottage. It's really well located in Haworth. The cottage is beautifully presented and very comfortable. We'd like to return!

  • A lovely cottage and the beds were very comfortable.

  • Blackberry Cottage was a delightful surprise for us on a miserable February afternoon - a cosy, comfortable retreat from the weather with stylish interiors, comfortable beds and a super shower. We loved all the special touches - beautiful lighting, the cheerful stove and well thought out interior. Thanks again!

  • Such a gorgeous cabin and area!! We highly recommend - had a wonderful time and will definitely be booking this place again!

  • A well set up , beautiful place to stay . Everything was tasteful and beds were comfortable! Close to a few pubs and coffee shops.

    Carolyn2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our family stayed in the cottage for two nights over the New Year period, and we all had a fabulous time. When we arrived we luckily managed to get a parking space right outside the front door of the cottage. The cottage was immediately warm and welcoming with the Christmas tree and decorations a delightful addition thank you. The cottage itself is decorated to a high standard, with both modern and traditional touches. The downstairs had plenty of room for us all to comfortably spread out in the warm glow of the log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped and met our needs quite easily. The bedrooms are modern and spacious with large comfortable beds. We all slept soundly. There are plenty of cafes, shops, and pubs nearby but as you are at the top of the Main Street you are not disturbed by any noise. We want to say a big thank you for making our New Year celebrations so special and know we will return again.

Peaceful, neutrally decorated home on the edge of the Yorkshire moors, just a 10 min walk to the Bronte parsonage in the village of Haworth. If steam is your thing visit the heritage railway and take a trip on the tracks made famous by the railway children. Enjoy limitless tea and coffee in front of the fire, soak in the bath after a long day of sightseeing and have a good rest in a bedroom with a fine view of the countryside to recharge for whatever the next day brings.
    A cat lives here.
  • Fiona is a fantastic host, she is happy to leave you to your own devices but also fantastic for a chat and someone to get to know! The house is beautiful and she provides tea, coffee, milk and bread etc. The wood burner warms the whole house through and makes the house super cosy. I would definitely recommend and plan on staying again!

    Jacob2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona's place is in a perfect location only a few minutes walk from town centre and busses to other towns just at the bottom of her street. Fiona is friendly, easy-going and down to earth and I enjoyed our chats while watching telly together. Very comfy bed and great views. Would highly recommend

    Janine2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The best airbnb experience I've had! Fiona is an amazing host and was exceptionally easy to get along with, and willing to help out for the two weeks that I stayed with her. The house is in a fantastic location really close to the main street, as well as a great fish and chip shop! I enjoyed the company of Lottie the cat, and the fire each evening!

    Amy2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed staying here, very clean and homely atmosphere. Fiona is a brilliant host. Comfortable bed, quiet, gorgeous view. Nice pub less than 6 minute walk away, didn't get chance to go to as was working.

    Joe2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location was perfect and peaceful, and it was sweet to be welcomed by Lotti the cat. Thank you for a great stay, Fiona!

  • Fiona is an excellent host her place is comfortable and very clean nothing is too much bother for her

    Janice2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona’s house is perfectly located being only a 5-10minute walk to the centre of Haworth and has beautiful views from the bedroom and breakfast table. It was perfect for our Brontë themed weekend and backs right onto the Brontë trail (a walk I would highly recommend!) Fiona was a great host, quick to respond, flexible and accommodating and even let us borrow her coffee flasks for our walk. What truly makes Fiona’s place though is her adorable and very cuddly cat, Lottie.

Jenny is an amazing and friendly host, how goes out of her way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The hut is perfect, restful and we are always so sad to leave.

  • My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. The weather could not have been any worse but our hosts could not have been any better. Despite the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Shepherd’s hut. The accommodation is spacious and clean and quaint. The nearby toilet and bathroom is modern and clean. A Well-stocked breakfast basket is provided and the wood-burner was cosy and comforting. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Haworth itself is absolutely gorgeous and quaint. The Brontë museum is engaging and interesting and the village shops and cafes are unique and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here.

  • Wonderful cottage with outstanding amenities. Very very clean and well maintained. Fabulous position for walking into Haworth, Bronte Parsonage. We had awful weather but we cosied up with fire on and enjoyed some Netflix and books. Managed a windy walk to Bronte Waterfall which was well worth it. Communication from Colin was excellent. Shame Shibden Hall not open until March but maybe next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The location is perfect, being within a short walk of pubs, coffee shops tourist attractions and beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Communication, both from the hosts and from Sandra, the local lady responsible for looking after the property, was prompt and really helpful. All in all, a beautiful, clean and stylish place that was excellent value.

My place is close to parks, art and culture, and great views. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
My place is in the village of Cross Roads which is very close to Haworth. Saltaire Cottages was part of a former small mill and enjoys an elevated view to the front and spacious shared gardens to the rear from where the property is accessed.

    Baz2019-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my month in this lovely, characterful, high ceilinged house. Living /dining room is of most agreeable spacious dimensions with large table. I liked the decor, flowery, warm and traditional with a charming painting of ballerinas which was perfect for a bedroom.  I enjoyed a few conversations with Rebecca, whom I found personable and knew she was available if called on which I had no need to as everything worked fine. Washing clothes was easy as was cooking. Comfy bed, powerful shower and good size bath.  Great location for exploring whole area which is a scenic paradise, perfect for ramblers like me. Haworth, of course is a must, but Cliffe castle and it's magnificent museum is also unmissable. I'd return 100%

  • A lovely spacious cottage at an excellent price, dog friendly which is always a bonus, location good with plenty of walking. Recommend the local Indian Amontola Fusion and a walk down the road to Industrial a little coffee/craft beer place...really welcoming from the cottage host to the local people.

  • Rebecca provided everything we needed and gave us a warm comfy home. We'll choose this place again when we want a visit to Haworth. Great value and only a 20 minute walk to the centre.

Ground floor apartment in an 18th century Pennine farmhouse on the edge of the moors at the heart of Brontë Country. A Yorkshire hideaway remote from all roads, it is ideal for couples and small families wanting peace and open countryside.
The large bed/sitting/dining room is centrally heated and makes a comfortable office and study if needed, with tall windows facing south onto the garden. Period features include an antique court cupboard and carved wooden frieze. Modern features include large double bed, wi-fi internet, Freesat TV and a good selection of DVDs. There is a small safe for valuables. Whilst ideal for couples, the Flat can accommodate 2 singles (or a couple plus child) by opening out the sofa as a second bed. A travel cot is also available. The kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The shower room has shower, wash basin and WC, with extractor fan and heated towel rail. Detailed information is collected in a welcome folder.
Whitestone Farm lies at 800ft under the edge of Haworth Moor, close to the Pennine watershed dividing Yorkshire from Lancashire. Stand at the Flat kitchen window for a beautiful view across the valley showing other small farms picked out against a landscape of steep fields dotted with sheep. From the Flat you can walk for miles on public paths and open access moorland. The Pennine Way National Trail is 400 yards away, and the Brontë Way runs past the back fence. Yet civilization is never far away: the nearest pub is a 15 minute walk, and the Brontë village of Haworth is 2.5 miles by road. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is just 20 miles to the north. For Brontë enthusiasts the whole area is crammed with interest. The Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth is marking the 200th birthdays of the four Bronte children between 2016 and 2020 and our visitors can walk to several historic sites associated with the Brontë novels: Top Withins, Wycoller Hall, Ponden Hall and the Brontë Waterfalls. A 30-minute walk takes you to Ponden Kirk, a dramatic precipice with rock outcrops and cascades associated with Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights.
  • We had a brilliant time in the flat, the location is gorgeous with beautiful walks on our doorstep. It was very atmospheric and beautifully decorated. We hope to return!

Can recommend the White Lion for great value and history. Simon adds thoughtful touches such as scones on arrival and tips and games in the flat. We loved the beauty and peace and just wish we had longer there.

  • We absolutely loved Simon’s place and the hosting experience from booking to communications afterwards. The home has beautiful gardens available for guest use right off some of the best trails on the moors. It’s serene, too—the perfect place to recharge and/or experience Brontëland without the tourist bustle of Haworth. Between the quality of the space and hospitality, booking Simon’s place should be a no brainer!

    Mackenzie2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a perfect place to come to, relax and unwind. We had a wonderful, peaceful time. The scones on arrival were such a nice surprise! It is the perfect spot to stay in beautiful surrounding and the flat had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk over the hill to Haworth and stroll back via a pub beer garden and an afternoon in the sunshine watching the village cricket team play. We will definitely come back again and will recommend a stay to friends. Thank you so much.

Ponden Mill was built in 1792 and originally was used for spinning cotton. Its on the Worth river and close to all of the Bronte attractions, the Worth Valley Steam Railway, and right on the Pennine Way. The mill is severely haunted but there have been no appearances in the guest rooms.... yet.
The guest room has been converted in what were old cottages adjoining the mill. There are excellent views of the river and across the countryside. The room is en suite with shower and bath.
Ponden Mill is set in a small valley and surrounded by moorland. Next door to the Mill is the chapel mentioned in Wuthering Heights, Wuthering Heights itself (Top Withens) is on a nearby hill along with Heathcliffes house (Ponden Hall). After perusing the sights then about 200 meters up the road we have a very good pub (The Old Silent Inn). Haworth is about 2 km away and there is a very scenic walk there past the Bronte Waterfall.
  • The mill is situated in a beautiful spot, Richard and Amandaare excellent hosts; helpful and knowledgeable, they gave us some great tips on local scenic spots. Excellent position for the Penine Way and Brontë attractions and close enough to local pubs and village to not need to keep using the car. The ensuite room was delightful and we woke to the sound of birdsong and the gurgling stream. Will definately return.

The location is wonderfully peaceful and beautiful, the room is spacious and comfortable and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby as well as an infinite amount of fabulous walks. I particularly loved being able to take a bath – too many people have replaced baths with walk-in showers nowadays!

  • A cosy place with various opportunities for walks. Very well equipped and modern, we felt very comfortable there.

    Benjamin2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage, characterful and old with modern luxury inside. Cosy and warm inside as it was chilly out. Great countryside views from the back. It felt a real refuge from city life. Useful to have a supermarket in the village and we loved waking to the Keighley and Worth Valley railway station for a day on the steam trains.

    Mary2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great space for up to four people. The accommodation was very clean and as stated in the ad has recently been refurbished. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, three comfy sofas downstairs to relax on and a very well equipped kitchen. Parking can be a bit hit and miss as there is no off road parking and didn't want to upset local residents by parking outside their houses. The road outside is quite busy for a small road but not a problem. Communication was great. We used The Lamb Inn quite a lot for eating, good food at a good price. Co op located in the village. Overall a really nice place to stay, comfortable, warm with plenty of space to relax.

This luxury, newly refurbished and redecorated one bedroomed apartment is a Grade 11 listed building situated near the top of Main Street in the beautiful village of Haworth with stunning views. There is everything here to make your stay unforgettable and totally relaxing. And Haworth has so much to offer too - the famous Bronte parsonage and church, stunning walks, the local steam railway as well as spectacular countryside and many unique and interesting local shops and eating places.
A brief description of the accommodation is as follows - Through the archway and up the steps takes you to the front door which leads into a spacious and airy, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There is a range cooker with double oven and five hobs, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine and everything else that you might need and with stunning long distance views to Ilkley Moor and the surrounding countryside. Under the stairs is a very handy storage area for coats and shoes etc. Into the bright and welcoming lounge with a large, flat screen TV, comfortable settee, gas fire, books and games and a view onto Main Street. Up the stairs is the large, bright double bedroom with ample wardrobe and storage space, dressing table and a wall mounted TV. Opposite is the generous sized family bathroom with all amenities and ample towels. All in all, a real home from home ! Please note that, although we offer this as a one bedroomed accommodation, an additional guest could be accommodated in the lounge or bedroom on a foldaway bed at a small additional cost. Also, although check out is 10am, in certain circumstances this can be extended (with a possible small extra charge depending on the time of day.) Please contact Helen for more information.
Haworth is most famous for the Brontes but it also has so much more to offer..... beautiful walks, stunning countryside, the Keighley and Worth steam railway, interesting shops and great pubs and eating places. There are also several fantastic events organised in the village throughout the year. Details to follow.
  • A great space, perfectly located; beautifully presented and sparklingly clean. The only slight downside was the parking. The most convenient parking, at the medical centre, is only available between Saturday lunchtime and Monday morning (and maybe weekday evenings). We ended up using street parking five minutes walk away. This would not stop us returning however and we had a lovely stay.

  • I almost hesitate to share what a simply lovely little gem this place is, and what kind-hearted hosts Tracy and Michael are, for selfish reasons. The cottage feels like home for the weary traveler. Tracy and Michael treated me with a hospitality one can only liken to family. They waited up for me (late) to check-in after a long journey troubled by recent flooding. Greeted me with a “cuppa” and helped me brainstorm my short stay in the magic that is Haworth. Come morning, after waking to the most spectacular view of the dales from my bedroom window, it was a short walk to the town where I partook in the lovely trails of the Brontë Parsonage and finished with Christmas shopping on Main Street. After warming/freshening up in the sparkling clean, quaint, and charming abode, my hosts were kind enough to give me a lift into town (as it was evening) and drop me off at the pub where I was dining! I made some new friends as I believe there are no folk kinder than that of the shire. Add all of that to the easy and prompt communication, the poetry of the history of the town of Oxenhope, and the view of the sheep farm steps from the door - my stay was nothing short of a fairytale for this English literature teacher! I can’t wait to return and was a tad misty- eyed to leave.

  • I spent 2 nights at Tracy’s while attending the World Cycling Champs in Yorkshire so sadly did not spend much time at the cottage or in the area. The cottage is lovely, very clean and comfortable and in a beautiful country setting.

Tucked away on the street leading down to the Worth Valley Steam Railway, our cottage provides cosy accommodation, carefully furnished and decorated throughout. Providing a home from home from which to explore Brontë Country. The steam trains can be seen from the bedroom and it also benefits from a lovely enclosed rear garden. In nearby Haworth, you can experience the quaint cobbled Main Street with its individual shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
We bought 'Station Cottage' earlier in the year as we love Haworth and the surrounding areas. This is our bolt hole to stay whenever we visit Yorkshire. We feel we have made it into a comfy and cosy place to stay where you can relax and listen to the sound of the steam train go by.
From the cottage there is a local Coop store and some lovely pubs in Oakworth as well. In Stanbury there is a local pub called 'Wuthering Heights' that does great food and you can sit outside looking over the fields. Plus the 'Main Street' in Haworth which has brilliant pubs and a great 'Gin Bar' where the staff are fabulous and always recommend different gins to try!
  • A beautiful cosy cottage in a fabulous area. Everything you might want or need and lots of lovely places to visit very close by.

    Wendy2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely delightful cottage. It was actually much bigger than we expected with nice big bedrooms. Really well appointed kitchen and good co-op for provisions in the village. It was nice to be able to leave the car and explore the area on foot from the front door.

  • A special place to stay in a beautiful part of Yorkshire

    Jo2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A delight! Lisa's house is a treat. The photos dont do it justice. Beautifully decorated. Welcoming bottle of Fizz! Great location for Haworth and for the Steam train. Great selection of games for when the Yorkshire weather intrudes! Lovely shower and well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Would recommend . Note As indicated, steep stairs leading to bedrooms, so may be difficult for the less mobile.

    Mike2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely lovely place, very comfortable, well styled and well equipped. Communication was effortless and quick. The place is well situated for trips round Yorkshire and in particular Haworth where legend has it the Bronte's touched every seat and door knob :0) We would definitely stop here again. Thanks.

    Andrew2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is a must for a ‘railway children ‘ enthusiast! You can literally see the steam train pull in from the main door!! The cottage is beautifully clean, fantastically decorated and very well kitted out. You can cook properly here if you want to and the beds are all v comfortable. Nice touches of fizz and clementines left for us was a lovely touch, and v good instructions and advice about surroundings. Highly recommended .

    Anna2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Station Cottage is a real find: stylish and well-equipped and in a great location for exploring all that the Bronte country has to offer. We stayed just before Christmas and it was wonderful to arrive to find the cottage beautifully decorated, with two Christmas trees and decorations throughout. The wood burner gives a great cosy feel, and it's perfect for dogs with a secure fenced and paved terrace at the back. Highly recommended.

This house had Haworth and Bronte Country on its doorstep but has none of its parking issues. You can walk to Haworth in 20 minutes or take the bus in 5. You are also within close range of other exciting and stunning tourist attractions such as Cliffe Castle, Bolton Abbey, The Dales, and the local heritage of Bradford and Keighley. There are lots of activities locally such as trail/fell running, MTB-ing and cycle sportives. I'm a land artist and each bedroom features a different installation.
No. 2 Heritage Way is a large house with lots of space both inside and out. One unique thing about it is that it has 3 real hens and 3 giant ornamental sheep in the garden. But there is still space for an outdoor eating area, a hot tub, a swingball game and plenty of lawn space for other games and sheltered sunbathing in summer. It might sound weird to have twin orthopeadic beds but older people love them for their comfort and kids love the novelty of using the remote controls to go up and down and lift their legs and head. I am an occasional land artist and each of the bedrooms is named after one of my favourite instalations. the double bedroom is the Broad-Ford suite, the single room is the Branwell and the bicycle suite and the twin room is the Winking Goose Winking Turkey suite. In my job for the local Sue Ryder hospice I am involved with the organisation of a high proportion of the local events that are going on on our doorstep and I can make sure I will notify you in advance of any that are happening during your stay. These include sportives, mountain bike challenges and trail runs in the fantastic local landscape.
Oakworth is a large south facing village with 2 village stores and 2 pubs both within 5 minutes walk of No. 2 Heritage Way. There is also a ladies hairdressers, 2 barbers shops, a sewing cafe, a fish and chip shop, a Chinese takaway and a Indian takaway. For more choice of takaways you are only 5 minutes drive from the town of Keighley and so all the restaurants there will deliver to Oakworth. And if you fancy some good home made food, the Golden Fleece Inn does great food including their award winning Saxon pies. There are another dozen good eating places within ten minutes drive including restaurants on Haworth Main Street and the Wuthering Heights Inn in the village of Stanbury. Oakworth's biggest claim to fame is that it features heavily in the classic film 'The Railway Children'. Oakworth station on the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway remains just as it was on the film and is a great place to climb aboard the train which has stops at Keighley, Ingrow, Haworth and Oxenhope. Within the village is the grounds of what was Holden Hall, a stately home built by mill owner Sir Isaac Holden that burned to the ground in the 19th Centuary. Oakworth is the home of proffessional cyclist Tom Moses who rides through the village each year when the Tour de Yorkshire comes through in early May.
  • Andrew is an excellent host with a beautiful property. It’s spacious, clean with lots of activities to do - inside and outside ! Great value for money and in a great location. • Gorgeous property, plenty of space and great amenities including a spacious kitchen, dining area/lounge, large bath and cosy bedrooms. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay and the garden is very well kept. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the decor was thoughtful and quirky and felt very homely. The property has table tennis and board games, as well as TVs with fire sticks for endless entertainment value. Easy to access property, and Andrew is an amazing host, made us feel comfortable right away, gave us directions to points of interests, tips about the local area, and help with the hot tub. Also gave us eggs from his hens and made sure we were stocked with groceries. The property is in a great location for heading into the south of the dales, we took a ride out to Malham Cove which was only about 40 minutes drive and it was spectacular, many other great places nearby to see too as well as nice local pubs within walking distance. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

  • Good sized living space, the house has a really nice feel to it . There was plenty of room for a family of 5. The downstairs bathroom is a touch of luxury, and my girls 3 and 5 enjoyed getting eggs from the garden. Andrew was very welcoming and friendly however also gave us our privacy.

  • We had a great two day stay at the apartment. Its well laid out and stylish. Great value for money. Unfortunately the pub downstairs was shut due to coronavirus. We would have loved to give it a try. Next time maybe. Loads of info in the apartment about the local area etc which was great.Bus stop across the road but didn't use them. It was only £5 for a taxi into Haworth for food/drink. As stated there is no wifi but I used my fire stick from my phone hotspot so mobile signal is good. Claire was great and really helpful. In all a brilliant few days away.

Open again from March 2020!! Close to Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters, Bronte Moorland, (where Wuthering Heights/Jane Eyre is based), Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, Oxenhope, Hebden Bridge, Leeds, Manchester, Skipton, Saltaire. Great retreat for couples, business travellers, & especially families. The cottage is well located, great for outdoor pursuits & city activities alike. There is so much to do! Free wifi, & loads of childrens facilities to save you packing them!
The cottage is attached to the end of our farm. The farm is on the main road between Keighley and Hebden Bridge and is just on the edge of beautiful moorland. There are panoramic views all round. It's really quiet here despite a main road so you have perfect chance to relax. It is quite a large cottage for holidaying in so you will find plenty of space. There is lots of facilities and add on packages we can provide to really make your stay special - simply contact us before arrival to arrange. With climate change in mind, we are quite unique in that we are a carbon neutral site & have not only planted over 1000 trees on our land, but we have also installed an electric car charging point. We also run a biomass boiler here so there is unlimited heating / hot water. The commercial part of the farm is The Rainbow Egg Company - we are a free range farm and have the worlds smallest chickens right through to our lovely large geese & turkeys. All animals are friendly although it is possible to have absolutely no farm contact during your stay as the farm part is separate. You even get free eggs whilst you stay. We also offer locally sourced breakfast hampers if you would like. The space has been lived in recently but for 2020 is now up and running as a beloved holiday cottage again.
There are many friendly local pubs and places to eat. All major supermarkets deliver here and local taxi firms amd takeaways know us. The village has many small businesses aimed at tourism and people here really care about what they do.
  • Emma was fantastic at replying and did her best to accommodate us. The home itself was lovely and clean. Her own farm eggs were also included! She gave us advice for the local area including food and walks. Overall, great stay and would definitely recommend visiting!

  • Stones Cottage Farm is perfect for a family getaway and giving kids a little taste of rural life. Remote enough for peace and beautiful scenic walks, but close to LOTS of attractions - Hebden Bridge, Keighley - Worth railway, Heptonstall, National Science Museum were all within easy distance and there's lots more to do besides. Emma was a warm and welcoming host who was close enough for anything we needed. Would happily stay again.

    Christopher2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great cottage in a beautiful location. It's close to everything you want from a holiday in Yorkshire - I would highly recommend a walk to nearby Haworth. Emma is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful! Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

  • Had a lovely stay at Emma's cottage. She is very welcoming and friendly, and the farm is in a beautiful rural area with lovely scenic views, but also handy for local attractions. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay, including lovely soft sheets, fluffy towels and fresh eggs straight of the farm! It was the ideal location for our trips to Haworth to see the Bronte Museum, Malham Cove and the lovely market town of Hebden Bridge. We were also treated to a cloudless night sky, never seen so many stars! Would definitely look to stay here again for future trips to the area.

Come Home Cottage is ideal for couples and is situated in a great central location, just two minutes away from Haworth’s historic Main Street. The cottage is in Haworth conservation area in a historic street of traditional weaver’s cottages with exposed beams and a flagstone floor in the living room. The house is a stone’s throw from the Bronte Parsonage where Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written, and the moor beyond offers lovely walks with breath-taking countryside views.
The first-floor living room has a large fireplace with a wood burner, original stone-flagged floors and beamed ceilings. There are two very comfortable sofas for complete rest and relaxation, with a TV, DVD player, Ipod dock and radio. The property has BT broadband. The modern basement kitchen is newly-fitted and fully-equipped and has a comfortable seating area with wall-mounted TV and retains its original cooking range installed in 1864 as a feature. There is a small utility room off the kitchen with washing machine and clothes drier - this room was a pantry with a large stone shelf for a fridge for the nineteenth-century inhabitants of the house. There is one double bedroom with double bed and a spacious bathroom on the second floor. The light and airy bathroom is newly-fitted with a large bath and a modern monsoon-style shower. Parking is on the street directly in front of the house and a permit will be supplied for display. We are happy to provide a starter pack of logs for you upon arrival.

  • Come Home Cottage is both cosy and charming. It is well-equipped and so convenient for Haworth and the local attractions. Catherine is a superb hostess and made us feel most welcome - we appreciated her thoughtfulness in providing a Christmas tree and little gifts for us to eat and drink. The Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and was spotlessly clean. We can recommend staying here without any hesitation.

    Timothy2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time that my Husband and I have stayed in Catherine's beautiful home, and it won't be the last. The cottage is in the perfect location so close to the Bronte parsonage and the Main Street on your doorstep. We stayed over Halloween, and the village really outdid itself with the decorations and the parade up the Highstreet. The cottage itself is immaculate and there are so many lovely little touches from Catherine on arrival. It's the perfect base to unwind and enjoy the area, I can't fault it 10/10.

  • Always excellent , spotlessly clean. Catherine is always at the end of a phone if by any chance you need assistance, and is extremely helpful. Lovely generous space in every area. Bathroom shower amazing. Warm and cosy.

A spacious, light filled double/family attic room with comfortable dining and lounge areas within a stone terraced house in the picturesque and historic village of Haworth. Nestled in the heart of the Bronte countryside, Haworth is a year round tourist hotspot with attractions such as the Bronte parsonage, Keighley & Worth Valley Steam railway, 1940s weekend, beer and music festivals and the Torchlight Christmas weekend. Can accommodate a single person to a family (travel cot also available).
Guests have their own private room and access to a shared bathroom. Quite a lot of the time I am away so you will have sole use of bathroom and lounge.
The house is a five/ten minute walk from the main cobbled street of Haworth where there are independent shops, cafes and The Bronte parsonage where the Bronte sister’s lived.
  • Helen was very welcoming and a great host!! The room was nice, the beds comfy and we had a great night’s sleep. Staying here in this beautiful house full of character was the icing on the cake of a great weekend getaway in Bronte country! Thanks again.

Although Helen was away at the time of the booking, she came to welcome us and supply us with breakfast before she had to leave again and left us to use her entire house. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean , comfortable and very quiet. Highly recommended. Haworth is a stunning place to visit.

  • I had an amazing time at September Cottage. It far exceeded my expectations in terms of the facilities, the location and the amazing hosting. Robin and Joy have thought of everything and the cottage is very well equipped with lovely personal touches. Robin gave me a very thorough guided tour and was fantastic at communicating with me before my arrival. The cottage is very centrally located and is truly a home from home. Excellent value for money and clearly a popular choice. I hope to return again next year and would not hesitate to recommend September Cottage to anyone considering a stay in Haworth. The only problem was that it just wasn't long enough so next time I would like to stay for the whole week. Thanks so much Robin and Joy. September Cottage is a credit to you.

  • We had a really nice few days here, we had everything we needed. And the cottage was well looked after.

  • Had the pleasure of staying at Robin’s lovely cottage for a relaxing long weekend in Haworth. It is a beautiful cottage close to Haworth’s historic Main Street. The cottage is a home from home with loads of wonderful little touches to make it homely. Extremely comfortable bed and lovely and cosy. Can’t wait to come back.

    Kevin2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy cottage in excellent location. Great for exploring the moors, the Bronte museum, the steam railway and Haworth is also very pretty with lots of pubs within walking distance. Excellent communication from Robin throughout. Good central heating was appreciated as the weather had just turned very cold. The rooms are larger than they look in the pictures, especially the main bedroom, plenty of space for our travelcot.

Royds Hall Cottage is a 17th century, stone-built, semi-detached farmhouse, located on a hillside just on the outskirts of Haworth in a village called Stanbury. With wonderful views across Ponden reservoir and the surrounding fells, this is a truly amazing place to stay. The cottage combines both modern and traditional styles, providing first class accommodation of character and charm in the most enviable of positions.
The spacious kitchen with dining area features dual-aspect windows to take advantage of the views and an archway leads guests through to the warm and cosy sitting room with a lovely woodburner. Upstairs, the cottage has two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the second with two Victorian single beds. Outside, the spacious patio terrace has lovely open views and provides an ideal location for a Summer evening barbecue or a place to relax, drink a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the reservoir and the distant fells, the sunsets are very special. For those wishing to get away from it all and enjoy fine country living and beautiful walks, including Top Withens made famous by Cathy and Heathcliffe in Withering Heights, this is the perfect place to enjoy a break away.
  • The friendliest of welcomes and a warm very pleasant house to stay in - lots of character and very well placed to experience the moors around Haworth

Our cottage will give you that home-from-home feel within a traditional Brontë-country stone terrace. Cosy yet spacious it has rooms over four floors so guests can find privacy within the cottage. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area for six people also provides a great place to hang out. The spacious living room with its original stone-flagged floor provides a welcoming area to gather round the fireplace, to play games, read from our mini-library or enjoy our TV system with 1000s of free movies & TV series on-demand plus the usual BBC, etc channels. The living room can also be used as a double bedroom when the sofa bed is in use. We love that our property has local pubs, shops, tea rooms, curiosities & cafes on the doorstep. It is nestled in the real Haworth community with non-tourist prices. The Keighley & Worth Valley steam railway - affectionately known for its role in the classic film The Railway Children - is just a 3-minute stroll from the cottage. From the beautifully-kept Haworth station you can jump on a steam train to enjoy an onboard afternoon tea, or other special events such as Haworth Haddock and Real Ale & Steam evenings. Next to the station is our favourite local spot, Haworth's very own Central Park which is home to the Steam Punk weekend, 1940s Vintage & 1960s weekends, craft & Christmas fairs, music events and good old peace & tranquility, just sit back with an ice cream & enjoy the views over the Worth Valley. On the other side of the park, you will find Haworth’s famous cobbled Main Street and you can also delve into the fascinating lives of the Brontë family with a visit to the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Our cottage at Haworth also provides the perfect base from which to head off and explore the National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall (10mins away), Bolton Abbey, Halifax's Piece Hall, Bradford's National Science & Media Museum (+IMAX) and Skipton's historic market town is just 25 minutes away and is gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
  • Nigel is a great host, this is the second time we have stayed. The place itself is fantastic. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Only a 5/10 minute stroll to the Main Street in Haworth too. Can’t wait to stay again

  • Nigels’ place was like a home away from home. Beautiful cottage close to cafes and a short cab ride from the town centre. We loved the feel and overall comfortable atmosphere in the cottage. He was on hand night/day to answer any questions. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

Refurbished cottage property in former mill enjoying stunning views including across to Haworth. Close to amenities and spacious gardens
    Cosy and recently renovated.
Local Indian restaurant and takeaway in the village, as-well as a fresh butchers and small grocery store, a Wilds bakery and small newsagents. At the far end of the village is another small supermarket. Other landmarks of the village include a large dog-friendly park with a bowling green, swing and slides and such for children, a football pitch, skateboard and bike ramps, and a large green field for dogs to run around in. Another feature of the village is St James’ church. There are multiple bus stops throughout the village, making it easy to get around and visit the neighbouring villages such as Haworth, Oxenhope, and Cullingworth.
  • This is a lovey house with new, stylish kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The house is situated within walking distance of the historic town of Haworth and close to many moor top walks. Rebecca was prompt in her replies and left extra touches. We highly recommend a stay here.

  • A fabulous house full of character - the pictures don't do it justice. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed for a 2 night stay. We were in Yorkshire for a family wedding so didn't spend a lot of time there, but is definitely on the list of places we'd love to return to so we can explore the surrounding area which looked beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it

    Vanessa2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little private house with a nice view. Good bus links to Howarth or a 20min walk. Rebecca is a lovely host too!

    Daniel2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Quirky cottage in a pleasant location. Had a problem with wifi but this was quickly rectified. Had a comfortable stay.

    Andrea2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and tastefully furnished terraced house. We were with 2 children and found the place enough. We were particularly enchanted by the view from the upper floor of the church of Haworth, because we were here because of the Brontës. The communication with Rebecca went very well. Shops (groceries) are few in cross roads. This place has no attractions other than its playground. By contrast, Haworth with the Brontemuseum, the hike to Bronte Waterfall and Top Withins are an absolute highlight.

Heron Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage, just a short walk from the famous cobbled street of Haworth and overlooking the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Enjoy a family holiday; cosy weekend escape or a friends’ get together. The cottage is next to our own family home where we live with our horses, chickens, geese, sheep plus the cats and dog! Sorry - no pets as we have free range chickens.
The river Worth joins Bridgehouse Beck at the end of the garden and, if the horses aren’t out there, we can take you across the stepping stones to see where the Railway Children was filmed.
The cottage is just outside Haworth, in beautiful Brontë country. Haworth itself was the home of the Brontë sisters and the Brontë Parsonage Museum can noW be visited there. The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a 5 mile long heritage steam railway which runs from Keighley to Oxenhope. Oakworth Station, just around the corner from Heron Cottage, is famous as the location for the filming of the film The Railway Children. The landslide sequence of the film was in a cutting accessed from just behind Heron Cottage across our land. Other local attractions include the World Heritage Site of Saltaire and Salts Mill, the newly restored Piece Hall at Halifax and the market towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.
  • We thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage. Great hosts and lovely lcoation ca

    Alexandria2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy cottage in a truly wonderful location. Haworth is only a 10 minute walk away and from there you are only minutes away from bracing walks on the moors. And coming home to the Hens, Geese and Sheep was always a treat. As was the steam train which tootles past the bottom of the garden every hour or so

    John2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely cottage ideally positioned for exploring Haworth by foot and the Keighley and Worth Valley railway. Places like Settle and Bolton Abbey are not too far either. The cottage itself is cosy and has plenty of room. Having a stream at the bottom on the garden and chickens running around made it a lovely location for all family members.

    Joanne2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage with all the comforts you need for a relaxing break. We were visiting family in nearby Bingley but also managed trips to Stump Cross Cavern and Pateley Bridge as well as EUREKA! In Halifax. We plan to return to this cottage and stay longer next time.

Ponden Mill was built in 1792 and originally was used for spinning cotton. Its on the Worth river and close to all of the Bronte attractions, the Worth Valley Steam Railway, and right on the Pennine Way. The mill is severly haunted but there have been no appearances in the guest rooms.... yet.
The bedroom is quite large with windows overlooking the river, the bathroom is also spacious. There is a lot of wildlife at Ponden, and sometimes wildlife is not quiet, so as long as you don't mind the occaisional Owl sound or wild horses galloping around you should fine.
  • Ponden Mill is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful moors where Wuthering Heights is set. The location is peaceful, and the old mill is fascinating and steeped in local history. Richard and Barbara are kind and interesting people. I would highly recommend.

    Aoife2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara and Richard are fantastic hosts, you will feel very well looked after and if you have a dog with you, they will make sure he is welcome too! Beautiful place, very relaxed, with very comfy bed and large room overlooking the river and fields, sparkling clean, with crazy good breakfast 🥞🥯🍳

    Kasia2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely backwater location that is quite wonderful whatever the weather. The Mill is several hundred years old, but the room conversions and bathrooms are excellent. Clean, great space, with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. (We meant to find out the make of mattress before we left, but forgot) Excellent hosts and an extremely well prepared “hearty full English” breakfast was provided in the morning. Loads of history and links to Haworth and The Bronte Sisters, with the very same chapel from Wuthering Heights within the grounds. If you need somewhere to stay local to Haworth or the surrounding area, don’t give it a second thought, BOOK IT.....you won’t be disappointed. We would certainly pay a return visit.

    Steven2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place surrounded by such beautiful scenery Great hosts so interesting

    Simon2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is an incredible place, with amazing hosts. Richard and Barbara couldn’t do enough for us!

    Mark2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, quaint place to stay. You are guaranteed a very warm welcome from Barbara & Richard who were quick to answer our questions prior to our arrival and helped us to navigate the area once we arrived. This is a beautiful part of the world to explore and has a rich history. We were only visiting for one night sadly (in part to celebrate my wife’s birthday) and embark on a walk along the pennine way taking in some of the sights and haunts associated with the Bronte’s - definitely do this! The room we stayed in is well appointed with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The view from our window was lovely (there’s a stream directly outside). We booked bed and breakfast - definitely do this too! The breakfast was fab; you can have cereal as well as a full English so you won’t leave hungry. This is a lovely place to stay with hosts that will spoil you and aim to help with any queries you might have. I’d recommend this place and would return if staying in the area again.

    Paul2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our one night stay at Ponden Mill and Richard and Barbara were so welcoming of us and our dogs. The Mill is in a beautiful location and the building itself has a very interesting history. Barbara made us a cup of tea on arrival and showed us to our very spacious room. It's a very peaceful place to stay with plenty of walks you can do directly from the Mill. There are a couple of pubs nearby for food and we had a good meal at The Wuthering Heights. It was bit of a walk up the hill, but if you were to drive it's only a couple of minutes away! Barbara made us an excellent breakfast and was on hand with Richard to give us local tips of things to do and even gave us a print out of a map for the best walking routes. We'd highly recommend a stay if you're in the area.
