Convenient location to use as a one night stopover while whipping around the Ring of Kerry. Rita was super nice and even had a fire going for us when we arrived. Late check in was no problem and communication was great and easy.

Great place, spacious, fits 5 comfortably. Place is reachable via car and well located to discover the peninsula. Very nice from the living room. Heating is done via a peat stove, doesn't make the house very warm but adds a nice atmosphere.

Great stay. From the moment I booked Rita's place she was very helpful. Communication was very quick and easy great directions to get there. We arrived to welcome arms by Rita. Got settled in and then Rita's husband Tom arrived. Helped us with a fire made sure we had everything we needed and even let us burrow his guitar. Even the dog befriended us. All in all they were great people we felt at home and would highly recommend a stay.

Rita and her husband were very nice hosts. They met us in town so that we could find the house easily! It was a cute cottage like addition to the main house. In a good location to go out and explore. Being connected to the main house there was some noise through one of the the bedroom walls. It sometimes sounded like someone was in the room! Overall it was a nice space.

Nice pace to stay. You have your own door and privacy in the house. The trampoline was nice for the boys, keep them distracted and Rita is a lovey host.

We were very pleased with our stay at Elaine and Sean. The two have us most welcome and gave us lots of good tips about excursions and fine restaurants around the Ring of Kerry. In the newly decorated en suite we felt really comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean. For breakfast we could use ourselves in the kitchen. During an evening chat we could learn many interesting subjects about Ireland.

Even if we arrived late in the evening (around 10pm) Elaine and his husband welcomed us most warmly. The room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed absolutely liked by our little daughter who was instantly confident with Elaine the next morning. Elaine introduced us to the other guests and created a warm, uncomplicated, easy atmosphere. The position of their home is perfect for a trip around the ring of Kerry or towards the peninsula of Dingle. Killarney and the National Park are just a few minutes drive away. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodations and gracious hosts. We had trouble finding the home, but I blame that on the GPS which steered us well clear of our target. Go figure. The directions provided by Elaine and Sean included a "Mr Kebab " and that turned out to be our saving grace.

We had a wonderful stay at Elaine's place. The house was really clean and cosy. Elaine was realky nice and helpful. the place is ideally located to discover the killarney national park, the ring of kerry and dingle.

Wonderful cottage! We were only a few miles from the Ring of Kerry. The town of Waterville was beautiful and lots of great places to eat. When we arrived there were scones waiting for us which were absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay here again!!

Big house and the view is beautiful but be careful with the additional charges of electricity and gas. It's not appreciable of not to know how much we should pay at the end so we spent 2 days without hearing. There weren't hot tub, hair dryer as announced on Airbnb.

One of the best places in Airbnb we've been so far! Elaine is a great host that made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The house is really nice and in a very convenient location between Killarney, Dingle, ideal to explore the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula. The room was perfectly clean and big. The owner rents two double bedrooms and there is a bathroom reserved for guests. The house is outside the village, but the pub is within walking distance. Elaine and her husband very friendly and welcoming.

I made a last minute decision to do the Slea Head Drive in Dingle and Elaine's location was perfect for an early morning start. I arrived much later than my original arrival time since ferry service at Killimer had changed over to Winter hours. Elaine was gracious and waited up for my arrival after 11pm! The room I stayed in was perfect, quiet and clean. It was actually the best sleep I had on my entire trip in Ireland.

Elaine's home is beautiful and the room is very spacious and the bed very cosy. The bathroom is large and close to the bedroom. Elaine and her husband Sean are the perfect hosts. They made our stay very memorable and if I had to rate the stay it would be a 10 if there was one minor things that would be helpful it would be to have WiFi available. The stay at Elaine's and Sean's House was really nice. The kitchen, bathroom and our room were very clean and beautiful. We had a wonderful big room with a really comfortable bed. We even had chocolate on our pillow, like in a very good Hotel. In the night it was very quiet and we slept very well. There is absolutly nothing to complain about. It was like driving into a scene from a perfect family movie. The kids playing outside in the sun, husband working on a project in the back and our host Bernie happily waiting to greet us at the door. The views outside were breath taking landscapes of Ireland's country side. Inside the home was beautifully decorated, clean, modern, warm and welcoming. The special touches make all the differences. Wonderful aroma scents in the pillows and aromatic candles in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Bernie is always on her toes making sure you have everything you need. Offering fresh prepared dishes, beverages, wine. Anything you need. You always feel welcome. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer. There are many sights near by. Conveniently close to the airport. Cozy main part of town just a short drive away. Quiet, peaceful home away from home. One of the nicest airbnb experiences yet.

The cottage is well-equipped and offers a pretty view of the mountains in the distance. It's very spacious and the beds are comfortable. John was very kind & waited to welcome us though we arrived past 8pm. Directions to his place were clear & we managed to find his place without much trouble. Our hosts John and Eileen have quickly been at any time in advance with information and advice to side. The directions were good, John has received us warmly and briefly led through the house and explains everything. We had some trouble with our car and John was so kind and has taken away from us in the morning with the city, something we were very pleased. Overall, the house is ideally situated idyllically, you have a nice view of the mountains and is surrounded by meadows and pastures. The house has been super clean and very well equipped. We have around felt very comfortable and would not hesitate to book again.

After a very long day of driving with 6 of us packed into our small van, this spacious and sparkling clean cottage was just what we needed to unwind and get a great night's sleep. Even though we arrived at 10:00 at night, John came right over to welcome us and explain some things about the house. We spent the next several days exploring the extraordinary Killarney National Park and came home to cook wonderful dinners at the cottage, read, relax, and enjoy the warm spacious upstairs room. This place was absolutely beautiful! A nice cozy, log cabin feel and the owners were very accommodating. They had food there for breakfast and towels with soap bars set out. They even had the wood stove up and running to keep us warm. It was one of the nicest places I've stayed at on airbnb and at an amazing bargain of a price!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Raymond's, very hospitable and accommodating hosts! Just a short drive from Kerry Airport, and close to tons of sights and things to do in Killarney. Highly recommend this as a place to stay!

Raymond's place was beyond our expectations! Lovely private separate dwelling with comfortable beds, chairs, and couch - cozy, but plenty of room! My husband, college aged daughter and I stayed two nights, one day checking in early but leaving right away for Dingle to sightsee and the next day enjoying Killarney National Park and Killarney. if you have a car, this is a PERFECT place to stay! Our host arrived just a few minutes after us and made us feel very welcome. He showed us around the property and gave us keys to the front door. The views of the mountains in the distance were stunning. The property was clean and well appointed. Accommodation for 11 of us was spacious and airy. Being situated outside Killarney meant it was quiet and peaceful. Cooking for 11 on the small cooker was not easy.

This house exceeded all our expectations. So spacious, and ensuites for everyone. It feels as if you are staying in a home with many personal touches (pictures, washing line etc.) and good wifi. The kitchen was well equipped with plentiful crockery and a dishwasher so cooking was easy. Our host was friendly and punctual on arrival and had refurbished some areas since we booked. In particular the bedding was of higher quality than the usual run of the mill holiday rentals. The views at the back of the house are stunning. We'd recommend hiring a car to really appreciate the surrounding area as you can't walk into town. We used the taxi service recommended by our hosts so we could avail ourselves of Irish hospitality (namely Guiness) when we didn't want to drive home and found 'Johnny' to be very helpful and good value. We were two families staying together and found this house suited our needs. It's an ideal base for exploring Kerry with Tralee and Kilarney being the nearest big towns. We'd rent again if we were back in this area.

It's a lovely house with a unique character. A bit of a fairy tale place outside of Killarney. Bedroom was a bit chilly, but that was even better reason to get under the cosy bedding on one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Bob turned out to be a great host. The hotel is somewhat outside of Killarney, so own car is needed to get there. It is best to contact before to clearly indicate which house go because it is a road where you find a house every hundred meters. The room itself is fine, is large, clean, and suite, and Caroline spare no time traveler explain the activities you can do in the area, with maps and everything. Definitely a good place to stay.

Joanna, Igor, and their welcoming committee of dogs were absolutely lovely. The beds were the best we've yet slept in in Ireland, including those in proper hotels, and the rooms were clean and welcoming. Both were excellent hosts who made us feel right at home and helped us determine where to go in Killarney National Park, the Dunloe Gap, etc. We had a great stay and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle.

We had a short but amazing stay in Joana's house ! Everything was exactly as described : we were indeed 10 min by car from the city centre, in a lovely farm. She introduced us to her animals, and gave us everything we needed to have a perfect night and breakfast the morning after. She made sure, in every way, that all went good for us during this week end. If you are going to Killarney or to the ring of Kerry, i advice you to choose Joana's B&B. i have no bad points to tell, exept maybe the fact that a car is needed, but she told us so before we arrived. Host is very accurate with description, and exactly what our family was looking for. We wanted to be slightly off the beaten path, yet very close to a great town and great hiking. This gave us a authentic experience in the countryside and we highly recommend to others looking for this experience.

This place was beautiful. Very spacious, well restored and. Perfectly isolated fir the peace and quiet i was looking for. Its a 10 minute drive to Killarney, where you can park your car for 60 cents and stroll the streets. The location is perfect for touring the west and southwest.

This cottage would be PERFECT for a large family/big group of friends! Two huge bedrooms, pull out sofa, and couch space. 2 bathrooms. Wifi worked great as did the laundry facilities which was extremely handy as this was an extended stay for us! The location can't be beat if you want a bit of countryside but to be close to the city. Such a short 10 minute drive to the center of Killarney and the Killarney National park which we very much enjoyed. Definitely feels secluded while being so close-very neat old cottage that has modern kitchen and bathroom amenities, etc. Yolande was quick to call us if we messaged with any questions during our stay. Unfortunately we arrived around 9PM so we didn't get to meet Yolande or get her starter basket since it was a bit late but there was tea, coffee, plenty of kitchen items to cook with, and assorted items such as cereals, etc in the cabinet.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for in Killarney! A very charming farmhouse, fully renovated and gorgeous.We loved the decor, fireplace, and kitchen! Yolande was a great host and greeted us, gave us a tour, and even left us with some bread and milk for our stay! The location was great, giving us the country feel we wanted but was also very close to the town and Ring of Kerry.

We enjoyed our stay in the Ballyhar cottage. It's a great location from which to explore the beauty of Killarney and surrounding areas. The cottage is comfortable and fairly well equipped and will be great once all work is complete (everything seemed very new and we thought a few finishing touches were still to come). Yolande was very helpful when we had trouble with heating by arranging for a man to come to refill the oil and also when we needed an ironing board. We also left a few pieces of clothing behind and she has very kindly offered to post them to us. Thank you!

Despite our late arrival, Eileen awaited us with tea and cookies. Communication with Eileen is very simple and fast. Accommodation is pleasant, along a very quiet road.

We found the property and met Eileens' husband. He showed us through the house. All was great and we were pleased with the size. We could spread out. We also found it excellently placed to do tourist things. We were a bit disappointed (not overly just a bit miffed) that the pub advertised was not actually a pub with food etc - just a sort of scam for bus tourists to listen to Irish music. The bus comes - they listen and then the pub shuts up tight. Perhaps it shouldn't even be advertised. Other than that - all was grand.

Eileen's cottage is quaint, cozy and a great central place to visit the country of Ireland. We did day trips around the Ring of Kerry and Dingle from there with great ease. A lovely neighbourhood and a great place to have some outdoor space as well. We had the privilege of meeting Eileen and her family - who were all lovely and exceptionally accommodating. Would recommend very highly and would happily stay again!
