Donna is really nice and understanding. I arrived later than the time I announced and she called me as she was worried. Then she made us feel comfortable and helped us to make our food ready. A really good stay :)

Donna and her husband were absolutely incredible hosts! The little thoughtful details made such a difference, for example coming to my room with a handwritten thank you card which contained the WiFi code in. My room was always cleaned, with fresh towels and bedsheets provided weekly. I stayed for over a month at Donna's and had such a positive and warm experience. The environment is very calming and has beautiful plants and a garden which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend Donna and her husband's home to anyone.

Quiet neighborhood. Very close to the high street and bus stops which can take you to the train station. The room is clean and well decorated. Although it is only a bedroom, it is very private. The host is very accomodating and gives tips on where to go in the area. Will definitely stay here again when in Orpington.

A lovely place to stay, with a warm welcome from Laurence showing you up to a beautifully decorated, clean and quiet flat. There's easy parking directly outside on a quiet suburban road. Inside the flat is spotlessly clean, with a lovely hot shower. The guest bedroom is what would otherwise be the living room. This was the only negative I had, in that I do enjoy the more companionable social arrangement you generally get from Airbnb. The room was warm and the bed extremely comfortable. I had the best night's sleep I've had for a long time. Laurence provides tea, coffee, etc, plus all sorts of useful extras, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and nice touches like a bottle of water, and a phone charging point. In terms of value for money it was incredibly good.

A very well maintained flat equipped with thoughtful accessories for a very pleasant stay. Really convenient with the Tesco located just above the apartment. Train station is about 8 mins walk (hilly) and connects directly with services to London central such as London Bridge and Charing Cross. Private carpark is also available with easy access to the unit. Overall very happy with the stay.

My family absolutely love d place! Food was easy to get as it has Tesco Extra which opens at 6am! Free secure packing with a great neighbour who reminded me that my car light was left lit on during one of d nights. Quite near to d M25 highway. Convenient, nearby Payzone outlet to pay off my Dart charges for those going up north via M25 highway. Had an easy drive d first 4 days to Bluewater, Bath n Stonehenge, Brighton n Seven Sisters as we r located at the South-east of London. Was able to drive to Watford too for d Harry Potter's Studio via d Dart Crossing of d M25. D next 4 days we took d train to travel to d city. 15 mins from Orpington station to London and vice-versa. Got to c d culture n practice of d locals during d train rides. Beautiful experience. Last but not least less than half an hour away to Eurostar's Ebbsfleet train station on our last day as we head down to Paris. Would love to come over again. Thank you for being a wonderful host! Excellent place, as in the photos, very convenient location right next to Super Tesco and 4 or 5 blocks (less than 10 'walk) from the Orpington train station from where you can reach all tourist sites very easily and fast, since there is a service that does not stop at all and also can be combined with other trains and subways in several of the stations through which it passes. Definitely recommended for those looking for a good place to relax after an intense day. Quiet place and impeccable apartment with beautiful decoration, welcome details, with everything you need for these to taste and even with Christmas tree. Thank you very much, Waty! =)

If you are looking for a spacious and well equipped home, within easy access of several National Trust and English Heritage sites, then this is a perfect base. The rural roads are not for the faint hearted but most things you would need are within an easy drive and the location of the house itself is so quiet and peaceful..great for getting a good night's sleep!

A lovely home in a great location - quiet and peaceful but with easy access to London. Very spacious with all facilities you could need; particularly good for our young family as there was a cot and stairgate. Very helpful communication before and during the visit.

Sid and his family are very attentive. They help you with your directions if it is in your hands. An extraordinary people. The room is spacious and comfortable enough for a 5 day stay as was our case. They leave you a good sized bathroom for private use. The house is about 20 minutes walk to the Orpington train station, which is also reached by several bus lines (B14, R1, R3, R11, 51 ...) in a few minutes. From the Orpington railway station, taking the Charing Cross line, the next 15-minute stop is London Bridge. Waterloo station would be the next stop at 21 minutes. From any of those two then to walk, to catch tube or other trains. We have used the Citymapper App, all great 5 days. The next time we return to London we will contact Sid for sure.

Lovely family, spotlessly clean home. We only booked and stayed one night and didn't arrive until late. But they were so welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

A great stay in great London. Though it is not in the center of London but the high street of Orpington is just around the corner. The hosts are excellent too. They could provide Really nice Indian food if asked. Would stay again in time.

The room we got was clean, the amenities such as kitchen and bathroom werre clean and easily accessible, we got plenty of tips on places around Orpington. Definitely worth staying with them if you want to visit London!

Robert place is perfect for me as it is just 10 minutes away from where I was working. Dave and Rita, Robert's parents, made me feel very comfortable at their house, they let me use their kitchen and we had lots conversations having something to drink, I felt at home. They are such a lovely family, I couldn't stop thinking about my family back in Spain all brothers and sisters sitting on a table sharing a meal and talking about things that happened during the day, like a family should be!!! I will definitely come back again MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!

Very good reception, very easy to get the accommodation ... we arrived in the morning at the place of the afternoon and barely 10 minutes after having warned, William was there to welcome us and give us the keys ...

We stayed here for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it. We were greeted with a food hamper of goodies which was very welcome as we arrived late. Leila and Jerry went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took time to show our 3 children around the farm and let them feed the animals. Rooms are spacious, warm and clean with plenty of towels provided. Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all great amenities too. The cottage is next to the stables so you can watch the horses being taken in and out of the fields daily. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage... make sure you take your wellies!

Fantastic time spent with Molly, a great host, felt very much at home and met many of her family. Recommend to anyone visiting Orpington.

Molly is a warm and friendly host, very hospitable and generous with her home and her time (for example she offered to drive me to the station when I was running late, invited my partner to see Brighton, and offered to make my partner ginger tea late at night when she was feeling unwell). The room is clean and comfortable, with fresh towels and bedding changed regularly. Location is also good - safe area, convenient parking, and a short walk to the high street and regular buses. Distance from Central London isn't an issue with the fast trains reaching London Bridge in about 15 mins.

Thank Molly for your accessibility, open mind and hospitality; that was amazing. You wanted to be there for my 2 sons and myself, and you did it in a very engaging and sympathetic way. With a warm memory, I think back to our stay, and if you ever come our way ... you know where to find me! Thanks also to your daughter and granddaughter, who were also willing to include "3 strangers" in their midst. We were allowed to use your house as a base for our daily trips to London, easily accessible by bus and train in about 30-40 minutes. There was some misunderstanding about the rent of the rooms; the website was not unambiguously clear (Molly would make that right). For each rented bedroom (max. 2 people per room) approximately 30 to 35 BP is charged, which are regular prices for London. In addition, Molly makes her own, other living spaces also available for her guests: living room, dining room, kitchen and garden. As said, the hospitality of Molly has proved great. Molly: thank you very much & a sincere greeting for you!

Everything you need and more and a wonderful host

The place is very beautiful and the area is really safe and very close to shopping centers and restaurants. The street is very peaceful, nice neighborhood. The house is welcoming, the rooms are big and have all you need for the stay, clean towels and bed sheets, same in the kitchen and in all the common areas. We had a wonderful time with beautiful memories for a life time. Thank you Molly!

We absolutely enjoyed staying at Olivia's place. The pod was very cozy, clean, warm and felt very spacious. Great place to escape from the city, very easy to reach if you don't have a car (we took a train from London Bridge to Hayes Kent and then less than 10 minutes drive with Uber). Lots of hiking spots around and a few local pubs within 15min walks. Highly recommend it!

This place is so beautiful, we're already thinking about going back. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we really loved getting a tour of the farm and meeting all the animals. I can't recommend it enough.

What a fantastic place to stay. A cosy pod with lots of thoughtful touches that just make the stay perfect. The most amazing ‘welcome pack’ ever - their own sausages, bread, eggs, biscuits, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee and various liquid refreshments in the fridge. ( a very welcome beer!). The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows, cushions and blankets which really made it cosy. The fluffy covered hot water bottles were a thoughtful touch in case toes needed warming in bed; along with plenty of fluffy towels. The children loved toasting marshmallows on the fire; which the chiminea was laid and ready for us to light - along with a plentiful supply of wood. The outdoor cooking area was great with 4 camping gas hobs plus a grill. The bathroom facilities were spotless, with again thoughtful touches by the host; A good sized shower, trendy wash basin and massive mirror - which my 3 enjoyed making silly faces in. The outside washing up facilities are really well thought out too. A lovely Belfast sink, lots of hot water and again thoughtful touches which make any stay far less stressful. Our trip was rounded off by the children helping to feed the pigs and be shown the cows. We saw on passing through the nearby village that there were plenty of good looking drinking establishments, which maybe next time we will get the opportunity to try out. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying in the pod and are all very much looking forward to staying again another time.

Me and the kids had the best time at fox hill, the kids loved running around the fields... picking the fruit and feeding the animals... the best sausages I’ve ever had and a couple of beers kept Dad happy... thanks so much for the stay!

I couldn’t recommend this place more. Everything was fabulous. Surprised by the orange juice, water and wine in the fridge. Their sausages are really tasty. The pod is so well equipped and you have everything you need. Loved being in a pod in the woods and being private people, loved having a place to ourselves with no neighbours. We loved our evening and night with the fire going. And loved the views and the peace in the morning. We loved watching the spitfires going over the field that we’re taking off from Biggins hill. Unfortunately I had a twisted ankle and couldn’t take advantage of any of the walks which were plentiful. So just enjoyed relaxing in the 32 degrees we were lucky to get. I’d not hesitate to stay here again. I’d like to return in the future. Jerry and Leila are such friendly people and they really wanted to please. Many thanks for such a lovely stay. Barbara was an excellent host, responsive and welcoming. The room is excellent, had everything I could ask for, and she offered me a separate living room / TV / working area so I could have some living space without feeling I was disturbing the rest of the house.

Barbara's place is just magical. This is not only because of the house, which is very nice, beautiful and comfortable, in a great location within a walking distance to town center. The best thing of our recent experience in Orpington has been meeting Barbara and John, an extremely lovely couple, very welcoming, supportive and lively. Actually we had to do a few works in Orpington and both have given us all their help and support. Just an amazing experience and we feel very fortunate for having get the chance to meet them.

My stay at Barbara’s was absolutely wonderful! I was visiting Orpington to be near my granny in the hospital, and Barbara was the most caring hostess. I am so thankful for her very warm hospitality, great conversation, beautiful home and all around loveliness. Also, what an exquisite garden. The bedroom is very peaceful, with a super comfortable bed and gorgeous windows/natural light (with curtains too). I highly recommend staying with Barbara and hope to be back again! Also, excellent location, just 10-15 minute walk from the train station.

Everything was great

Nikki’s place was great - stylish and spacious. If you are with kids I’d strongly recommend her place to explore London. Everyone gets the space and comfort of a house and London is a quick 45 mins by train/taxi. Nikki was also extremely responsive and a great host. We’d love to come back and stay here.

Modern spacious light home, super clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Off the main roads so no traffic noise. Easy on site parking. Excellent communication with a much appreciated welcome pack with bread, wine, biscuits and suchlike. Convenient access to central London by bus and fast train, but also near Kent countryside. An easy drive to rural attractions such as Chartwell, and lots of nearby Commons walks. A great compromise between easy city access and country living.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikki’s wonderful house.. it was exactly what we had hoped for and more. It was myself, my two toddlers and my elderly parents and it literally was perfect for us.. close to family, super clean and more than enough space! We loved the little touches with a bottle of wine, chocolate biscuits and little packs for our boys! Thank you Nikki for a great week!

Great place to stay and relax

First time using Air BnB and what a great find Our Host Nikki made us feel very welcome with organized information and a kind welcome pack . We had traveled from Singapore on a long flight and back for a funeral and we really felt at home at this wonderful family home. Great location and lovely family space in this house.
