Discover London’s scenic Hampstead Heath through the poems and life of John Keats, a poet I’ve dedicated much of my career to exploring. • We’ll start at Keats’ house and walk around his gardens, which are beautifully preserved by the Keats Society. • Next, we’ll venture out onto the Heath, the patch of nature that inspired not only Keats but also T.S. Eliot, Virginia Woolf, Francis Bacon, and many other writers and artists. • Finally, we’ll end up at one of Keats’ old haunts: The Flask, a picturesque 1663 pub with a history full of highwaymen, strange initiation rites, and ghosts—in other words, the perfect setting for a poetry workshop. I’ll help you write a poem of your own, inspired by the beauty of the Heath. You’ll leave with your own poetry as well as a zine created to remember your time in Hampstead Heath.

Find Non-touristy, Unseen & Local London with a City Planner

London is only truly experienced when you venture off the well-worn tourist track so that you can see, hear and feel the place the same way a local does. Only then will you get close to the true essence, to the true heart, to the very fabric of the place you are in and have an experience like no other. We are going to leave the touristy mainstream London to the side and explore its unseen and authentic neighbourhoods outside the centre because this is where the ordinary Londoners acutally live their everyday lives. We delve into London's modern and pioneering urban history to understand its current challenges as well as future developments. Despite the length of six hours the tour does not feel too exhausting and time will fly. In between, you can also sit and relax for a bit while we travel by bus and train. My London safari can easily be made weatherproof if you dress warmly enough and bring an umbrella if necessary. Some places are partially covered and in bad or cold weather, the 30-min lunch break can be taken in an indoor market. START: Paddington railway station (West London) FINISH: Canada Water station (East London) or Waterloo railway station (close to Central London). Join me as we venture into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! On this walking tour of London's streets we will watch clips from the movies while I regale you with behind-the-scenes stories of those locations and how they were used in the film series. Our first stop will be the entrance to Diagon Alley, before we pop down to see the Ministry of Magic, and find out which Leaky Cauldron has the best tacos, as well as others I don't want to spoil here. I will also share some of the strangest, funniest non-HP facts I've learned about London along the way. We will finish at Borough Market, London's top street food destination, with King's Cross just a separate Tube ride away. PLEASE be aware the tour is offered in English only, and it is largely story-based, so a better-than-basic conversational grasp of English is essential. While witches and wizards of all ages are welcome, due to the amount of walking and the content, I more recommend it for ages 11+. Strictly one person per slot. No exceptions. Step-free route for wheelchairs available This London street walking tour is not affiliated with the WB Studio Tour at Watford. Make a Silver Ring with The Ringsmiths in London Bridge

Come and enjoy this hands on 2.5 hour workshop getting creative and jewellery making. Craft your very own hammered sterling silver ring, whether as a gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. Hosted by The Ringsmiths, a team of jewellers who all currently run their successful individual brands as well as teaching jewellery. They will guide you through the process of making a ring using traditional goldsmithing techniques such as annealing, forging, soldering, and filing to name but a few. In this workshop you will have the option of making either a wide hammered band or two fine hammered stacking rings (as pictured). Over the course of the class you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your newfound skills. Using a range of tools needed to make your ring, as demonstrated by The Ringsmiths throughout. We also offer gold plating at an additional cost. The plating can be requested at the end of the class. Please note these services have a lead time of 2-3 weeks.
