Mansion holiday rentals in London

Travelled down as family of 12 for London Marathon weekend. The place was everything we wanted and more. It really has a ‘home from home’ feel and you immediately felt comfortable due to the numerous little touches the hosts have gone to. We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer…. Only minor feedback is the stairs to top floor is little difficult for the older members or those struggling after long run!! 🥵😂 When we are next this way, we will definitely look to book again. Awesome location—very convenient to the tube and bus station. Simple furnishings but had everything we needed. Richard was an outstanding host and very accommodating! Please note that there are lots of stairs!

One of the best AirBnB in years. An amazing house, clean, good public transport connection, super well equipped, great places in the vicinity, all you need for a great stay in London with a larger group! This will definitely be on my "come back to" list. Thanks Annie for being a great host!

The place was amazing, exactly as the photos showed. The host was incredibly accommodating to our additional requests (eg late check out). The fire alarm kept beeping around 11pm but Josh was incredibly responsive to our messages and sorted the issue out quickly. Highly recommend!!

Our family enjoyed our stay immensely at Felicity's home. The layout is terrific for a group with a central gathering area and privacy in the bedrooms. Floor to ceiling windows look out to the gorgeous back yard. My only regret is that we visited in the winter and weren't able to enjoy the secluded yard. The kitchen is well designed and well stocked for a serious cook. The furnishings and artwork give a feeling of individuality and warmth to the home. We were able to call taxis and ubers easily and the tube was a ten minute walk away. We managed to see all kinds of attractions during our stay after which we could retreat to the quiet and relaxing home. Felicity was always available to address any concerns and also regularly checked on our welfare. Upon arrival, we were greeting by a relative who showed us the place and gave advice for our stay. Anyone is lucky to stay at such a fabulous home!

Great place to stay with for our family.

Lovely house, clean, spacious, and ideal for our extended family staying. Great central location for seeing London and the Mercato Metropolitano was a fantastic place to eat and drink.

This apartment is in a convenient location with access to two underground stations nearby and walkable to the London Eye. Central location makes major sites easily accessible by train. Hannah was very responsive and helpful throughout the process making us feel at home. As others have mentioned, this is a private home, not just a rental. So, family belongings take up most of the storage space, but we were ok with it. On the positive side, it feels more like a home. Access to the shared courtyard was nice and likely rare for London. And room darkening blinds or curtains in all bedrooms was especially helpful since the sun rises early in the summer. Also, grocery and coffee one block over which is convenient. Overall, a great stay!

We visited as a large group of friends from around the country. we are incredibly grateful to Matt for being so helpful, responsive and friendly both in the run up to our stay and during. The property is beautiful. Exceeded expectations in every way, superb location, beautifully decorated and well-stocked and prepared for our visit. Bed linen was pristine (as was the rest of the property) and towels were beautifully laid out for us. At every point felt like a very professionally run business, out of a stunning property that felt like home. Could not have done more, thank you so much for hosting us Matt and Andy 😊

Very clean and host was very communicative. Pros: Right in the heart of Covent Garden! Tube stop right there and the energy of the shops and restaurants was amazing. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, the kitchen is updated and very modern. Check-in was easy and host provided easy videos on how to navigate the apartment complex. We had issues with the washer/dryer and although they didn't get resolved during our stay, the host was very apologetic, very quick to reply and tried to help with fixing. The unit was a bit stuffy but the host had plug-in fans for each room which fixed the issue. 4 bottled waters already in the fridge upon arrival and umbrellas for our use by the door. Cons: Washer/dryer is one single unit and very small. If you plan to do a lot of laundry during your trip, this isn't a great option. The hot water in the shower and Wi-Fi connection were also not consistent but we were out and about most of the day and then tried to take quick showers.

My family and I loved our stay at the Dove House! The house is very clean and spacious, perfect for a family. It is walking distance to underground train stations, as well as shops. Soskia was an absolutely amazing host, and was very helpful throughout the stay with all our needs. We felt very comfortable throughout the stay and look forward to our next one!

Couldn't be happier with a brilliantly quirky home in a location near lots of good food/drink spots and transport links, hosted by a lovely, generous, communicative human being. Brilliantly fun place to stay.

'Exactly what it says on the tin'. When my family of 3 generations (aged 5 - 95) 6 adults, 2 children arrived we felt that we already knew the property, so accurate were the descriptions and the photographs that Jubed has supplied. Communication since booking (a year in advance) has been excellent, friendly courteous and comprehensive. A wonderful 3 night stay. I would highly recommend this property. Quiet neighbourhood and yet easily accessible to Central London.

Kaz is an extremely friendly and responsive host . The house is lovely and spacious with a lovely outdoor area . Everything you could possibly need is provided and the house was fresh clean and comfortable . The area is quiet . We were attending my son’s wedding and were a family group . The house was perfect for our needs and so nice to be all together . Nothing we didn’t like . Many thanks

The house is wonderful for its age, character and history. We really appreciated the library and all the quirks and general history of the house itself. Some of us went on a quick trip to All Saints Church cemetery in Edmonton to see Charles and Mary Lamb's graves ... because the house provoked an interest to see and know more. It has many quirks - but these are so well explained by the hosts - so you know about them before you come. The character and joy of the house totally made up for the quirks. Size was great - for our family group of 7 it was ideal - plenty of space to eat and hang out and individual nooks and crannies where people could do their own thing.

I visited Jenny and Sam’s place with my 2 teenage sons and we’ve all had the best week ever! We can’t thank Jenny and her family enough for sharing their lovely home with us. The house was beautiful, really felt like home and Jenny was a fantastic host, who kept in touch all the time. The pool and garden were a real treat and the location was perfect with easy access to so many great places. We all agreed that we’d love to stay there again and would 100% recommend this fabulous place and lovely hosts. Thank you again for the best summer holiday from us all, Amelia and family😊👍❤️

Ann’s house was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home. Everything was easy to find and use and the house had all the amenities we needed for a family of 5. The neighborhood was lovely and we loved walking around.

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

The home is absolutely beautiful, so fantastically decorated and a perfect setting for our group get together. The hosts were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help, even accommodating an earlier check in for us. Could not recommend this stunning home enough!

Thank you Sabreena. We had an amazing time in Forest Hill. It was the perfect mix of city and rest and relaxation. It is a really easy walk to the station to get into central London. However the local restaurants are also really good. The house is so spacious, with comfy beds and a great shower. The parking space was also a real plus for the area. Thank you Sabreena for being a great host! We will definitely be back.

I loved my stay. I was only on a short work trip but I will definitely be back for longer next time. If you stay anywhere in West London, I would highly recommend you stay here! Great location too, just a short hop to Central London. It’s a real home away from home with a personal family feel but exceptionally clean, organised and beautifully designed. It has all the mod cons. I loved the hot water boiling tap in the kitchen and the sliding doors in the kitchen that open out completely to the garden. And there’s lots of toys, games and books for the kids so you don’t have to pack any. The highlight of my trip, was their lovely cat Rio. 😻 My son wanted to take him home ! He’s so gorgeous and super friendly. He made us feel right at home! Thanks for everything, I hope to come back very soon 🤞🏼

We stayed at the apartment with three kids and four adults and it's certainly spacious enough for that. It had all amenities that we wanted such as a well stocked kitchen, washing machine, dish washer. We liked having access to the garden and the pool was a hit with the kids. It was only open in the afternoon and evening when we were there but that was fine. The neighbourhood itself is not especially charming we found but felt safe and not too crowded. There's easy access to central London via train, depending on where you want to go it's 30-45 minutes. We would certainly recommend this place to friends traveling with kids.

We had a fabulous week in this beautiful home. The house is perfect, we couldn’t have wished for better. The garden was like an oasis, so quiet, it was hard to believe we were in London. We would sit outside for a morning coffee before meeting our little granddaughter for the day, then recharge our batteries in the evening, with a beer in the garden. The garden is beautiful. We loved having coffee and brunch at flotsam and Jetsam at Dulwich Picture Gallery, about a thirty minute stroll from the rental. For us, the location was perfect, the house was perfect and we would definitely like to stay there again. Bonus points for the quality towels and parking on the property. Loved every minute of our stay.
