A place where we really enjoyed my husband and I with three children o and two grandchildren respectively. Close to the sea and activities. In the garden there are good activities for the children.

Super cozy house with great and central location on the West Coast! Short to Fjällbacka, Grebbestad, Smögen, Lysekil etc. Large enough for 2 families with extra sleeping places in the annexes. The main house is modern and well-equipped - the annexes are good for sleeping - and the outdoor area is in the middle of leek, with large garden, sheltered and warm terrace w / barbecue / outdoor fireplace and solid trampoline. Extremely child friendly. Short walk to jetty / small beach (crab-o-rama) and 2 km to public beach with ice kiosk (Gårvik). It should be done well not to enjoy yourself here as a family. The homeowner responds quickly to questions and is pleasant and attentive. Much holiday home for money, simply! (I say that with the danger that the price will be increased ;-)

Beautiful little house, with all the necessary equipment. Great with kids because there are so many toys in and out, especially trampoling. Very nice little beach 3 minutes by car. Pål always responds quickly to our requests.

Perfect place, lovely house and wonderful surroundings.

We had a real extra-ordinary good time at Stranderäng. At the start we required a bit of time to change from "being used to a lot of things" to "we don't need all these things". That was a nice experience, also for our kids. We did get along very well with the outside dish washing-station and the outside bathromm/shower. Alexander & Anna-Karin provided a nice folder with detailed description of house, how everything works & tips on where to go and what to see, and were very helful with additonal tips. Some of our favourite things to visit include: Midsummer at Roe Gard, swimming at Bovallstrand or on Island of Bohus-Malmön, rock carvings at Tanum. Our days at Stranderäng were different and we love to remember these !

It's great staying here. It's a lovely home and clean. Very quiet and you feel like you are all alone. We enjoyed the garden a lot. The surroundings are also very nice to explore, with hiking routes directly starting from the house. The local tips Alexander and Anna Karin provided were great. The manual where everything is explained in is very clear. Outdoor shower was a luxury!

Alexander and Anna-Karin’s stuga is truly charming and in the heart of a lovely part of Sweden. As you will know before you get there, there is no running water inside the house and the toilet is outside - this takes a bit of getting used to with cooking and washing but we did soon enjoy showering under the stars! As they say, it is an escape from daily obligations. There are also a lot of interesting places to visit and places to go swimming nearby. We absolutely loved this place, so nice and well maintained in the middle of nature. Cooking and taking a shower outside is so nice (the weather was with us). The place is quiet, in the heart of the beautiful Bohuslan region. We highly recommend this place, absolutely faithful to the advert or even better! Alexander and Anna-Karin were very responsive and considerate.

We spend a very good time in this beautifull and peacefull place. The house was confortable with all we need to cook. There is a tank water in the house and the water and the toilets are outside. We took shower outside, we enjoy it!!!!The weather was with us all the time. The house is in very good place to visit Bohuslän which got beautifull landscape’s. Anna Karin and Alexander were very reactiv and answer at our questions. We recommand this place !!!!

I thoroughly recommend a stay here. The cabin is so quaint and it was the quietest place I have ever been, nature can be fully heard here. The description of the cabin is accurate.... I loved the simple way of life there. The surrounding area is amazing and the hosts were very helpful giving information. Everything about the cabin was very easy to figure out and it is well equipped and comfortable. Most of the time was spent on the decking in the sun admiring the garden and resident birds and red squirrels!

This is a great place for everyone in search of the simple life. Just take a look at the picture gallery. It's as beautiful as it seems there, and more! We enjoyed every minute in Anna-Karin and Alexander's cabin, including the outdoor shower, that even convinced our otherwise water-skeptical kids! The location is ideal to explore the most beautiful parts of Bohuslän, which are all within reach with a quick car ride. We will most certainly come back soon!

The accommodation is really beautifully located in the middle of the granite rocks - total peace is guaranteed (although the road is 171 with lots of traffic (probably because of Smögen ...) is very close) and it is complete relaxation possible. Easy handling with the water, which is only available outside - but no problem at all. Simple, comfortable, stylish !!!

A cozy and pleasant place to stay overnight!

I stayed there for one night while driving a tour through Norway - it was a little bit "outside of civilization" which was beautiful to drive to and be at. Wonderfully quiet and nice feeling inside the house as a guest with great hosts helping wherever they could!

I enjoyed my short stay in this charming old house located on the hill with a great view over the water. Ann-Katrin was very kind to prepare a light breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the cottage. Kids loved the trampoline, fishing crabs and even set up a tent in the garden. We loved the view over Gullmarsvik from the deck and the cosy living room in the evening. Marcus family was great and patient with our very chatty children.

We had a very pleasant stay in Marcus' Cottage and would like to thank Hans and his wife for the very friendly welcome and the nice and fast conversation before and during our time in Sweden! The house and its equipment and the beautiful view of the fjord correspond exactly to the description. In a few km you are on the highway and can explore the rest of the region well. Special thanks to Hans, who not only gave us helpful tips, but also assisted as an interpreter when our car made trouble. Due to flexible checkout time we were able to leave stress-free and were greeted warmly as we were greeted before. We highly recommend the accommodation of Marcus and can imagine that we will come back again!

Nice cottage with great amenities and a full kitchen. Quiet place. Certainly close to a road but the road is very easy traffic. Nice view from the terrace down to the lake. Large lawn with trampoline for children to play. Long stairs down to the lawn, think about it if you have smaller children.

Marcus' house is ideally located for visiting the Bohuslän coast and easily accessible from the E6 Gothenburg-Oslo motorway. The house is very well equipped and the view of the beautiful fjord!

The stay at Siv's cottage was simply amazing! An incredibly great place, and Siv was a delightful host to deal with. Fast and straightforward communication and clear messages. If you have the opportunity to spend time at the cottage to Siv then you will have a wonderful experience.

Recommended, 20 min to smog and quick contact with the host.

Really nice house with great views! High standard and good with beds. The beach seemed nice, but unfortunately did not go swimming during our stay because it was very algae right then. But have nothing to complain about regarding the home and would gladly return!

Eva's airbnb is a very nice and good equipped flat with everything you need! She and her husband are super friendly people and she gave us a lot of information about what to do or where to go in Gerlesborg. Our dog was also welcomed and could run free. There was no problem at all. Instead we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay with courteous hosts! :)

Eva's little studio is absolutely cozy and nice. We had everything we needed and Eva was there to greet us and give us tips etc. She and her family are absolutely welcoming people and we felt home there at once. The studio, as I said, is rather little, but more than enough for two people. The view from outside the place is stunning and places like Bovallstrand, Fjällbacka or Hamburgsund are not far away by car. We loved sitting on the stones of Bovallstrand, leaving all the stress behind. We say: great area to go to and perfect host to stay. Highly recommended! We would love to come again for sure.

Simple accommodation but equipped with what you need. Nice patio and great location beyond the tourist traps. We stayed a whole week and got around to many nice places by car. Eva was very helpful both in providing us with a wider bed and with tips on places to visit. It was very affordable, quiet and cozy. Would definitely come back! It feels like we found a hidden gem and got a crawl in for ourselves where we felt at home. TV was not missing, it was nice to avoid! Wifi worked great. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed to cook simpler dishes and it was possible to cook even more food there. On the patio there is a grill which worked well. We grilled food several times during the week and sat outside. Top accommodation at a great price!

It is very beautiful place, a lot of posibility for walking on the nature, beautiful views on the sea, lovely villages: Fjällbacka, Bovallstrand around and very easy to visit Göteborg or Oslo. Eva and Mikel are fantastic people

Super nice host, very friendly and the apartmemt was big and clean! The couple who renting out will do anything in their way to make you feel confortable, the man of the house even went out of bed at 06.00 in the morning to help me with the trailer when I had trouble to get it out! Couldnt be more satisfied, 10/10 would book this again!

This house is a true piece of paradise in the beautiful westcoast area of Sweden. The house is situated in the woods, with deer walking around. Ann and Philip are wonderfull hosts, willing to help you with everything. Very much recommended!

Our stay at Ann & Phillip's house was amazing! We never spent our holidays in such an unbelievable quiet and relaxing place. Phillip was wonderful to give us valuable tipps where to go and what time to go there best, he even hand-drew us maps for a great route to go running. Thanks to his tips we found a great place to swim nearby - it was almost like having a private fjord just for ourselves ...! We instantly felt at home at the cosy appartment and had a great time to recreate and find a deep rest. If we ever visit the region again, we will sure come back to the lovely house in the forest! :)

We had a wondefull time at this lovely place. Ann and Philip are great hosts! The titel "Superhost" at Airbnb is way too understated. They were extraordinary helpful and courteous. The accomodation is generously sized and is furnished with love. Also the fridge was filled up for breakfast and we were very surprised by the selfmade strawberry jam in it. Finally to complete this whole positive atmosphere they get help from Mika, Jessica and Roger ;) We don't want to tell more about this nice and cozy place, because everybody should find out by himself. But we are sure that you will be surprised.

We really enjoyed the stay at the home of Per-Arne and Trude. It's a wonderful and so individual place to be which they created by their own. The location is calm and close to nature. Per-Arne gave us very nice advices what to do in the area. F.e. we visited the nature reserve very close to the house. It was really exciting and overwhelming. We would always recommend the stay at Per-Arne and Trude!

A small romantic place in nature

We stayed one night in the cabin, and because the place was so lovely, we decided to stay an additional night in our tent at their camping site's This place is an amazing nature gem, with nearby river with fishing and hiking trail to a nearby waterfall. The host was great and the facility's had everything you needed.

Small room with beatifull landscape. Close to a river with a waterfall upstream. Fina is very nice and will respond fast and give suggestions of where to go or what to do.

Very cozy cottage. Very friendly and nice host. Modern service house. Good location, near the river and Bohusleden path. If you are in the area, you should stay at the farm!

Celina has a beautiful old home that she has spent much time and money renovating, yet keeping the old style. She's very hospitable and trusting. There are no doors to the bedrooms, so bring ear plugs if there is a noisy sleeper in your party. You'll need to water her plants indoors, and clean the house before you leave; but, the plants add to the warmth of the house. The house in in a convenient location to the coast. Having a car is recommended.

Celina's house is big, comfortable, and alive: here, the pictures taken by the owners decorate the walls of their distant destinations, and the places are imbued with an authentic and warm atmosphere. It is easy to reach the coast to visit the fishing villages like Fjällbacka or the Koster Islands, and Gothenburg is only 1:15. We spent 5 wonderful days here under the Swedish sun.

Our stay in the house of Celina was perfect. Her traditional swedish house is so nice ans the environment with the lake near the house was great. It's a really peaceful place that I recommend and it's a very good place to visit Bohuslän that is just amazing !

A charming house with lots of space. Everything was perfect.

Large and incredibly charming house that suits a large family. Short driving distance to coastal beads such as Grebbestad, Fjällbacka and Smögen. Several local bathing lakes within walking distance. Celina is a nice host who gladly gives tips on the area. Highly recommended!

Clean, cozy, characteristic house with everything you’ll need. It is located a bit into the country, which makes this a quiet and calm place. It was easy to drive to the different nearby villages by the ocean where the food was outstanding. Celina is very nice and responds to sms quickly.

A relatively cheap and simple, but really nice place for animal and nature lovers. Only a few minutes away from the summer crowds of the now very touristy Fjällbacka away, we enjoyed the total peace here very much! The sweet 5 chickens were very friendly and during the day always around us in the beautiful garden. The crows of the rooster in the morning we found very charming. The nearby lake is a real insider tip, here you are almost always alone! From the hosts we hardly noticed anything, if we had questions or needed help, but they were always there for us immediately. We would have liked to stay longer!

A lovely place for both adults and children

We just had a lovely week. The place is perfect for larger families or multiple generations. There is a new bathroom in the basement so there are 2 in total. The beach 200 m from the house is perfect for both children and adults. The kitchen is well equipped. Spent all week on the patio and in the garden! There is a 9 km hike in the creek, which runs along the water, in the forest and through the city, really nice, and can be walked by stroller! Recommendable.

Emmabo is a very cozy cottage with nice space for our two families with a total of 4 adults and 6 children. We slept like a dream in the cozy annex and enjoyed the fine decor of the house and not least the fishing trips with the boat and the morning bath in the fjord.

The house and location is very nice.

We had a amazing stay in Hanna’s house, we loved the house, the garden, the boat and the beach nearby! We were here with two young children (2 and 4 years old) and they loved the house. A treat was to sit in the garden or on the porch at night.. The kids also loved the old steam train that goes two times a day on Sunday and Thursday. I would say it a little less suitable for young kids because of the lack of babythings (bed, child chair, toys, cutlery’s, etc) but we knew that beforehand so brought everything.

We had a great stay at Lydia‘s cottage. It is just right in a cow pasture, so hard to find but Lydia informed us on time and explained us the way to her house via phone. It‘s a quiet and peaceful spot and the cottage is armed with all that matters. The toilet and shower is in Lydias house. Thanks for your lovely hospitality!! :-)

We had a wonderful stay at Lydia‘s place, which is truly, as she calls it, a little paradise. The house was excatly as described, simple, but nicely decorated and the surroudings in the middle of the nature (you are driving through a cows meadow to the house) was just amazing. Lydia’s warm and communicative personality makes you feel at home and we really enjoyed eating delicious dinner and breakfast out in the garden.

Lydia was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. The cabin had a nice 'country' feel to it too.

We stayed at Lydia's house after a change of scenery in the forest. On our arrival the frame left us speechless, moreover we were able to discover a little of the Swedish cuisine (Lydia is a blue cordon). So do not hesitate!

Lydia's home is the best adress if you search for a time of peace and rest. Her small island in the middle of a cows meadow is exactly as said in the description: quiet and simple! There is no warm water in the room and you have to go into Lydia's house to go to the toilet, but her welcoming personality make up for every inconvenience and it is a really special experience to forget luxury and dive into cozyness

Comfortable and cozy accommodation, tastefully decorated. The setting is very green, in the countryside. Lydia is a very friendly person who has a sense of hospitality. We advise you to try one of his delicious meals!

Everything was excellent, the place was very cosy and well organized. We woke up with an amazing sunrise over the lake! Fun fact: we met a moose on the way to the house as we got there in the evening 😄

An incredibly nice house with great hospitality from Ann-Katrin and Gunnar. The accommodation was very clean and nice and it was estimated that the bed was bedded with towels to borrow. In the kitchen there was a simple breakfast and space for eating lighter meals - well appreciated. Very homely and we found ourselves very quickly in the home. It was an added luxury to actually have the floor to ourselves as we were the only ones booked. We will gladly return! :)

We stayed here one night when we were on a road trip between Lysekil and Stockholm. It is a nice old country house (with houses all around) that is well cared for and renovated to provide the greatest comfort. A perfect combination of new and old that provides both the comfort you appreciate and the charm you desire. The bedroom was very spacious and had large windows facing the water, so the room was bright and lovely to stay in. The furniture was nice and old which provided a nice setting. Just five minutes from the house you will find one of the finest baths we have been on, a jetty where you can jump in and a home-made bench that provides an opportunity to lean your back against the cliff wall while enjoying the morning coffee in the sun. Highly recommend this place, especially considering the price. Ann-Katrin was very nice and hospitable.

Nice accommodation in very quiet, beautiful and restful environment. Ann-Katrin helped us find a great way to hike to the spa Vann, where we took a delicious evening buffet. We were grateful that there was a simple breakfast available the next morning. Very affordable and nice accommodation that is recommended if you are traveling through beautiful Bohuslän.

This place is a gem! A proper Swedish cabin tucked away amongst the granite and trees. The house had everything we needed and our two year old boy loved playing in the spacious garden and in Lasse and Tina’s amazing playhouse. Lasse and Tina are very friendly and helpful. They gave great tips of local places to go swimming. We can definitely recommend this lovely place.

Very well kept and neat house on the property of the owners. Warm and friendly people with good tips about what to see and do in the beautiful surroundings. The cottage is fully equipped except for a washing machine, very clean, tidy and also very cozy. There is almost too much to do and see in the area.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Bohüslan Country! The interior of the house is beautifully and carefully designed and has everything you need for a cosy stay. Right behind the house you can start climbing, and the hosts gave us a warm welcome and had good tips for the nearest amazing, calm and beautiful bathing places in the area. Also our six-year-old daughter enjoyed the nature and playing possibilities in the garden (treehouse, playhouse). Definetely a little gem in a wonderful surrounding area!

Nice cozy cottage near forest and on a quiet return road. Close to bathing, climbing and Nordic sheets. We stayed two adults and two children aged 2 years and 5 years. Large lawn with possibility for play and playhouse and tree house that the children had to play in. The cottage is located on the plot of Lasses and Tina's house but we experienced it privately and the host couple very hospitable. Perfect place for a week's family holiday or for someone looking for the tranquility of a cottage with nature close by. Recommends warmly and will be happy to return.

We were a family of two young children (2yrs, 5yrs) and two adults who lived a week in this lovely cottage. The dirt road up to the cottage goes through the forest and the cottage is at the end of the gravel road so no traffic that disturbs or dangerous roads for children. Everything was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was also in the kitchen. A large garden with play facilities for the children. Tina and Lasse have their house on the same plot but we experienced it as very private anyway. They were super-fast and let the children play freely even near their house where the playhouse and tree house were. It is close to many nice bathing areas. We were mostly at Vrångebäckshamn where there was good bath for children and crab fishing. As one of us climbs, it is very close to many good climbing trails. A Tempo supermarket nearby in Brodalen (approx. 7min) which had everything, including vegetarian / vegan options. We can warmly recommend this accommodation and hope to return!

We had a great stay with Tina and Lasse. We traveled with two small children who loved the playhouse with toys and the tree house. Large lawn so we could play soccer and cubes. The hosts had also arranged a path up to the mountain top next to which was appreciated by our family. Because the place is a little hidden, it's quiet and quiet. We can warmly recommend this accommodation and Tina and Lasse were really two super hosts.

We have spent very nice days in Lindha's house. The location is in quiet countryside and we enjoyed the calm surroundings. House was big enough for our group of 5 people. We were welcomed by host and got all instructions in clear manner.

Absolutely fantastic location! Close by car to swimming area and grocery store. Very large spaces and very cozy! Fantastic two balconies and wonderful trampoline. Wonderful with the sheep garden nearby. Cute details of caring from host, flexible host and quick response. Perfect for those who want peace and quiet! Consider that there are some improvement options regarding the cleanliness of the house. Overall absolutely wonderful stay !!

A really cozy cottage with all the necessary amenities and an exciting decor. Beautiful surroundings and a cute neighbor farmer. The area offers some beautiful nature experiences, but only a few hiking trails, but small rocks and woods in the backyard and a nice view from the house. Fabian and Lindha were good hosts, quick to respond and help.
