Remote, Lake View Guest House

Do you need an escape from home? Our quaint one room studio cottage is located in our avocado grove with great beautiful views in the hills of De Luz. It has a king size bed, 3/4 bath, kitchenette with 10 cu ft fridge and stove (but no oven), gas BBQ, dining area and private deck ~ it sleeps up to two people. The cottage has it's own entrance and driveway just past the main drive. As you relax on the deck or from the house you will enjoy the panoramic views and a view of the lake. The cozy cottage is approx. 700 sq ft and is adjacent to our home on the property. We have "natural AC" (i.e. no AC but fans and lots of windows). Also included is satellite TV and Wifi, and a continental breakfast usually consisting of bread for toast, fruits, coffee and tea. The cottage is a great destination for a "get away from it all" retreat, for hikers and for cyclists and motorcyclists that want to enjoy the back country roads and vistas. You will enjoy the gorgeous drive to our cottage with the windy, narrow tree lined roads. The Temecula farmers market is a popular destination on Saturdays, and Temecula has a fabulous selection of wineries for tastings and dining. In Fallbrook, there are a variety of great restaurants, cute shops including a retro candy store,and a popular art gallery as well. We are located close to the Santa Margarita River Trail which is a 6 mile loop trail located near Fallbrook, California that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is used for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. It is accessible year-round. The Santa Rosa Plateau is another fantastic hiking spot, with vernal pools and gorgeous rolling hills and panoramic views. We are located 7.5 miles (15 mins) from Fallbrook and we are 25 minutes from Temecula, and 45 - 50 minutes from Oceanside. In addition, we are also approx 1 hour from Downtown San Diego and the SD airport. Just an FYI, we are 15 minutes from the closest store in Fallbrook, and the roads to get here as mentioned before are windy but lovely. We also have 2 sweet indoor/outdoor kitties that might stop by for a visit but we do not allow them in the guesthouse. Just to note, living in a rural area we share our property with the local critters that pass through such as coyotes, raccoons, etc. In additions to the furry critters, we also have the insect type. We try not to use pesticides so you potentially could see a bug now and again. Weekly rental possible.

I started creating this tiny house in 2017, driven by my passion for the tiny house movement. It's a separate structure from the main house, blending new, old, reclaimed, and modern elements. The tiny house features French doors that lead to a private deck, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including: - Full-size refrigerator - Microwave - Toaster oven - Hot plate - Electric wok - Coffee maker (with K-cups) - Pots, pans, and utensils

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, situated in an organic citrus farm on a 27-acre private land with mountain and valley view of citrus and avocados groves. This unit has its own private entrance and a private deck with outdoor sink, BBQ and dining area. The indoor living space is about 930 sf, and the deck area is about 800 sf. The house is powered by solar array and Tesla batteries, so we won’t have a blackout even during power outages as long as not a lot of AC being used.

Our home is in Murrieta, conveniently located 10 minutes from Temecula wine country. It is close to the malls, Pechanga Casino, Equesterian, and Lake Skinner. It is a private studio with your own private entrance, private bath-room, private kitchen with a microwave-oven, hot plate burners, sink and mini fridge, cofee maker, outdoor gym, romantic walking trails. Perfect place to stay if you are attending a wedding, visiting the local winery, vinyards, fising and more in lake skinner.

Visit picturesque Fallbrook with us at The Nest: Our warm, country farmhouse includes a large one bedroom and one bathroom, an oversized living room with a pull out bed and a kitchenette that includes a microwave, toaster oven and small refrigerator (no oven). There is 650 square foot space with a private entrance, parking, and balcony with beautiful views. We are in the country side, . The Nest is located north of Interstate 76 and Mission road; 16 miles to the Oceanside beach.
