The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

There are numerous trees surrounding the cottage, providing privacy. The views are of open meadow, forest and apple orchard.
