Places to stay in Clarksville
Our charming B&B offers our guests a restful night of sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Built in 1857 our facility is completely restored and inspected, yet keeping with the era of the buildings in furnishings and accessories. Perfect for corporate travelers, travelers, and visitors to the area. Lots of privacy for each guest is provided. Please note that we are an Inn with 10 total rooms. Each room is furnished differently but all of equal quality and appointments.
Some rooms have a king bed and all others have queen beds. Each room has unique linens and furnishings as some furnishings are antique. When you make a reservation we will assign you a lovely room, but it may not look like the exact picture shown. You are assured of a gracious room; neat and very clean indeed.
  • this room was five-star quality in every aspect. communication was clear and efficient. the location was beautiful: right in downtown louisiana just a few steps from the mississippi river and highly-rated restaurants. our room was clean, historic (exposed brick set a gorgeous backdrop), and had excellent views of the downtown area. a unique note: our breakfast was superb. apparently the owner is a world-renowned chef who teaches cooking classes in the south of france (no joke). everything about our visit was above and beyond what we'd expected. so glad we chose to stay here.

  • Karen is a great host, she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully. The historic building was my biggest draw, I spent the night researching the history of the place. The wifi was reliable, which is great if you have to do any business while there. The shop has a great wine selection, even their own brand! The scones were delicious! We will definitely be back.

  • This was a great place! Love the historic old bldg. Breakfast was wonderful. All in all, a great stay. Will be back.

  • My girlfriend and I stay at Eagles Nest whenever we travel back to Louisiana. Karen not only provides fantastic living amenities, but also the best breakfast in the state. Her cinnamon rolls alone are worth the trip! No better place to stay if you're visiting Louisiana.

  • My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Authentic BnB in small town, right on the river. We found everything easy and charming. My biggest concern was mattress age/support and the mattress was great!

    Ted2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a delightful place. The personal touch of a B&B with the privacy of an inn. The breakfast was delicious and you have to try the bakery. Karen is a wonderful hostess!

  • We LOVED our stay!! I can’t say enough about this place. It was awesome and perfect for our side by side riding group. There was so much room in the lodge and everything you need is available for you. I almost wish we could keep this place a secret so we can have it any time we wanted!! We will be back for sure.

  • This was the best air bnb we have stayed at. It was the perfect house for a camping style get away but was so nice and fully equipped with everything. The pictures don’t do it justice. Can’t wait to stay here again for a fun summer retreat.

  • Very nice place. If you live in a city, relax in a countryside.

  • Outstanding place to stay! The scenery is breathtaking and the home is well-furnished, clean, and very comfortable. Our group of eight ranged from 1 - 74 years old - we had plenty of space and everyone had a great time! The hosts were very personable and kind. We can't wait to go back! Thank you!

  • Fantastic hosts. Super clean and modern cabin. Great place to hang out, relax, hike or go fishing. We got rained out a bit this weekend but it didn't stop us from having a fantastic time!

    Jacob2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jennifer's for a nearby family wedding. Eight of us (with three dogs) were extremely comfortable and had plenty of room in the lodge. We had access to hike on the 100+ acres of land, and would have enjoyed starting a bonfire and grilling if the weather had been better. The lodge is cozy and has an incredible kitchen. We were able to easily prepare meals for our group with available equipment. Also, the hospitality was outstanding-- when we got lost on the rural roads near the lodge, Jennifer and get husband drove out to find us and help us navigate our way to the lodge. We will definitely be back in the future (great for family events, bachelor parties, etc)!!

    Natalie2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! Very remote. And let me tell you the picture truly do not do this property justice! Very welcoming hosts! Great choice for the bachelor party we took there!

  • Great place in a quiet neighborhood! Much bigger than expected, which was a nice surprise. The artwork, books, games, and other touches were great as well!

    Marine2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really cute apartment located right next the Mississippi! The space is super clean and I loved all of the artwork up on the walls. I stayed here with some friends for a wedding when the river was flooding, so almost everything was closed. However, it really does look like a cute little town and I would love to go back and explore sometime in the future! Barbara is also very sweet and super accommodating! I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to take a quiet, peaceful getaway trip.

    Sydney2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed my stay here, convenient for the work I was doing in the area. Lots of room to relax. Keypad was very convenient. Barb is very friendly and helpful.

  • We spent one night in Clarksville at Barbara's charming apartment. Definitely as described and very clean with every amenity you might need. The catfish at Tubby's was delicious! Enjoyed a morning walk along the Mississippi. Memorable spot, we will not forget. Thank you Barbara!

    Deborah2016-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit was enjoyable, despite the fact that we had to leave early due to pet needs. Our support dog is also a special needs dog, and we had to come back home to see the vet for a rash. As for the accommodations, everything was exactly as described and the view from the main room of downtown Clarksville and the river was amazing. The place is a lot bigger than it appears in the pictures, with plenty of fine amenities, and the host was very gracious and generous. If the occasion came up, we would stay here again.

  • This was a perfect getaway. Alot of privacy. A perfect spot to get out of the city. The cabin is huge. The balcony oversees a beautiful sunset. The fireplace is very romantic. The master bedroom was very comfortable. A beautiful cabin. One if the best I've visited. Definitely going back, maybe in the summer.

  • Michele treated us like family! Was quick to answer and help us find the cabin when we arrived after dark. She was always a text away when we had a question (we wanted to make sure we used the fireplace properly) and was so welcoming. The home site on a gorgeous property & is so beautiful inside & out. The cabin is stocked with linens and all of the amenities of home. It was so easy to travel here with our children. we can’t wait to come back!

  • Charlie and Bev's B&B has a choice view of the Mississippi, and we were fortunate to be able to see the boats coming upriver. They are warm, caring, and interesting human beings. We were concerned about riding our bicycles across the old Mississippi River Bridge, and they offered to pick us up. That's the kind of people they are. Our room was comfortable, and we had a game room and TV room in which to relax. Great B&B choice in Louisiana!

  • Amazing! So relaxing, comfortable and upscale. Highly recommend, the kind of place to come back over and over.

  • Overlook is such a beautiful space with so many unique features! We loved the Rackheath house with the hot tub and beautiful decor and, by chance, even had the whole space to ourselves! We will definitely be back to the farm - maybe to try a different space/house and or sure to try some of the made-to-order meals/snacks. The continental breakfast was so much more than expected and the provided port for sipping in the room was a next level touch. Oh, and the tiny town it's in is perfectly quaint with a handful of antique shops, eateries, and a new coffee shop that made a pretty good latte (coming from a proud barista!).

  • This place is a hidden oasis. I’m almost hesitant to talk about how amazing it was, because I fear one day soon it will be out of my price range. We had the privilege of touring all of the b&b’s on the property, and each is truly incredible. The staff is so courteous and thoughtful. Owner Natalie is one of our new favorite people on the planet. The food was so fresh and delicious. We will be back!

  • What an amazing visit. Could spend hours just watching barges go by on the river. Ask about the scenic drive from Hannibal. Easy access to St Louis and the arch. Beautiful quaint historical town. Perfect destination location or as in my case a relaxing stop along the way.
