From your own door you walk / cycle into the nature and to surrounding places. 2 bikes are available for rent, your bikes can be stored in the barn and possibly charged. Feel the soothing peace and quiet of this special place called de Specht. Relax completely and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of this romantic accommodation. From your box bed you can look straight into the forest and enjoy the wood stove that was specially made for this. In the evening it is very dark here, so you can see the enchanting starry sky well. There is a lot to do in the area. Both in nature with walking and cycling routes (also ATB) nearby and in the cozy Hanseatic towns.

Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

Our holiday home built in Saxon style was completely renovated in 2019, everything is new and tastefully decorated and equipped with a lot of luxury. The holiday home is located on a small quiet holiday park, this park is located in a wooded area with many hiking and cycling routes. The property has a large garden with complete privacy, with a fire pit and a pizza oven. Our home is directly adjacent to the forest. In short, a perfect place to enjoy!
