Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from main house. Private entrance, a private bedroom and a private bathroom. There is one b and one b space.

De bungalow is geschikt voor maximaal vier personen. Woodpecker Leeuwarden kan ook via een eigen site geboekt worden. We gaan het laatste seizoen in om ergens anders weer opnieuw te beginnen. Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. We enjoyed our stay at the windmill while we were visiting Friesland. The location worked great for trips into Leeuwarden along with surrounding areas. The e-bikes were one of our highlights of this stay - we did a ride through Leeuwarden out to Deinum and Boksum which was amazing. Would recommend staying here as a solo or couple traveller.

Idyllic cottage by the river

We were there for a longer period of time. The location is fantastic, you can sit directly on the water in the sunshine and enjoy a coffee and watch the ships. The dog also felt comfortable and could run freely. At the back of the garden is bordered by. The neighborhood is very nice and very helpful. In addition to a pizzeria and a barbecue snack, there is unfortunately no way to eat and drink anywhere in the evening, unless you drive 10 km further, but since we had a bike with us, ( there are also two available there), this was no problem for us and you can do what you want to do in the area beforehand, or what is offered. As Simone has already described for 1.90 m tall people, as we are, it was a challenge above, but we knew that before, because it was in the listing. All in all, a beautiful cottage quaintly furnished and in the kitchen everything is available and a very nice hostess.

The cottage is in a very beautiful environment. It is very well equipped and renovated. The littery is excellent. The Friesland region is very beautiful: the countryside 30 minutes from the sea! Thanks to Marije and Bas for their welcome and the welcome bun.

Treeske welcomed us warmly, everything was very uncomplicated and easy. The property has everything you need. It is clean and cozy. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies are also available. The location in the countryside with small pond and animals around was very nice. Thank you dear Treeske, for the beautiful getaway.
