Cabin holiday rentals in Rush Lake

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This was just what we needed for a girls getaway. We did a little bachlorette party for my daughter. We had a great stay, the hot tub was amazing, and very easy and communicative host. We will definitely stay at this cabin again! Thank you to the host and hosts family for being amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful and cozy!

We would stay again in a heartbeat! The spotless rooms seemed larger than the photos. The beds, furniture and deck are comfortable. We were 4 adults and two preschoolers and it worked for everyone. Although there are many cabins on the lake, it was very quiet during our visit. Swimming and water play were the main focus for us, but we did catch a few fish, too! The dock is large and perfect, and the lake clean. We launched our boat across the lake and docked it. So much was provided in the way of toys! Allison was a wonderful host and offered tons of details, tips and was immediately responsive to questions. Because we were there later in August, some of the advertised children’s events in town had ended for the season, but with so much to do at the cabin, we didn’t miss it. We preferred sitting amongst the tall pines, having a fire, and watching the full moon over the lake while listening to the loons! Little touches, such as homemade fire starters made life easy! This place was awesome. A group of 10 of us stayed and had a great time hanging out in the very private location. The log cabin was very cool. The hot tub was massive was able to fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately it was negative 6 degrees the entire time we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit outside but it was perfect for hot tubing, hanging out inside and playing games. There was a couple of cool towny bars closeish that we stop at on the way up but once there didn't feel the need to leave. We went hiking down the frozen river for 2 of the days and it was very cool. The way down to the river is a little steep so highly recommend good boots. We went slow but everyone felt comfortable getting down there. The other recommendation is to plan ahead with meals cause it about a 20 min drive to the nearest grocery store. We had a great time during our stay at the Gilmore cabin in Nevis! Evolve added a lot of nice touches that made our stay more enjoyable, such as a s’mores kit, plenty of coffee pods, and beach towels. Angie, the cabin owner, made sure we had everything we needed to check in and offered for us to reach out to her if we needed anything. The cabin was a perfect fit for four adults and two kids. All of the beds were comfortable and clean. The pantry and kitchen had lots of cooking supplies for us to use. We really enjoyed the enclosed sitting area out back for eating, reclining, and watching tv. Access to the lake was easy and there were lots of inflatable items in the boat house with an electric inflator/deflator. The cornhole boards and jacuzzi with lake views were a big hit with everyone. There was a booklet with local restaurant and recreation recommendations, but we stayed at the cabin all weekend because we enjoyed it so much!

We had a great time in cabin 10. It was very cozy and a beautiful place to watch the first snow fall of the season. Would definitely recommend.

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

If you are looking for a place for lots of people and lots of outdoor space, in typical Minnesota style, this is it. Couldn’t have asked for a better outfitted kitchen. The beds, pillows and linens were comfy. Opportunities for privacy in the extra cabins. Old school charm of a vintage resort. Hosts were absolutely so responsive and helpful with everything.

This was my first experience doing a mini vacation for myself and I picked the absolute perfect location. It wasn’t around a ton of other cabins and only 14ish minutes from town if I needed anything. I will absolutely tell everyone in my life about this and encourage them to choose this cabin. Definitely will be doing this again.

Beautiful place to stay on the Fish Hook River. Many restaurants nearby, and close to town. Host accommodated us with an earlier check in. Also, pet friendly, so we were able to bring our lab.

Peaceful, beautiful and healing. Sarah and her husband are amazing hosts. The perfect respite. I highly recommend going here.

Great location and very cute place loved the big windows

I happened upon this cabin at the last minute; I just needed a change of scenery. I could not have been happier with every bit of my experience. The cabin was quaint in all the right ways, the views were beyond expectation, and the peacefulness and privacy were perfect. I felt like I was living a dream for the week. THANK YOU!! I work from home as an online teacher, and the Internet connection worked perfectly for me to do that there. This is my new "happy place" and I WILL be back. (Bonus, the trees showed their most brilliant colors during my time there. WOW!) Oh, and if you plan a trip, take advantage of the $25 fee to order groceries to have waiting for you when you arrive. That was an amazing perk!

Beautiful cabin and peaceful lake. The cabin was cozy and clean. Bed was very comfortable.We enjoyed the use of boat and had a blast paddle boarding on river and lake.

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations!! It was truly amazing. We fished a lot of the dock and even warmed up a little to take the kayaks out. We went to the ice cream shop down the road and our 7 year old was in heaven. They have everything there you need!! It was perfect for our family of four and we will definitely be back!

We had to make change in plans last minute for a place to stay and Francisco's was great to deal with on get the place ready at the last moment. I will be staying again in the summer.

Our stay was for a weekend over MEA. It was just what we needed to get away from the normal busy jobs and school. My girls loved the screened in porch where we could take in the fall air yet be warm and “no bugs!” per my 7 year old. Everyone loved the sauna too. It’s a very nice place and it was very clean. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks again!

The Barrett cabin is a great place to stay!

Absolutely beautiful cabin on a great fishing lake. My dad had a place on this lake and I had come up here for 30 yrs. He sold his property 4 yrs ago and to find this little gem of a cabin not even a mile from my favorite place in the whole world was a miracle and was meant to be. We had a great vacation. I specially loved all the decor and details in the cabin. Andrew also had a boat with a motor we were able to use everyday for an awesome price! He also has kayaks and a canoe to use at no additional cost. I highly recommend this place for a getaway or a family vacation.

House is a newer construction so it’s nice. Most everything you need to be able to sustain without trips to the store. There was a couple missing key items but it’s a newer air bnb but I’m sure the owner will work it out.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jacob’s cabin. Plenty of activities to do, kids had blast, there was no need to leave this Airbnb for any activities. Home is just as shown on the pictures, will definitely recommend for others to stay.

It was a lovely place to stay! If you have kids, the waterfront is great for swimming (not weedy and has a nice shallow walk out) and playing in the sand. House was super clean and very well stocked. Very quiet area, we were the only boat out on the lake most of the time! We would definitely come back again!

It is a very quiet and private location. The garage with corn hole was great to stay out of the heat. Had everything we needed. The big buck hunter was a great time for all of us. Very close to downtown and Zorbaz. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet home. Plans are already in the making for another trip next year and if it’s available we will book again.
