There is a sauna, a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a sofa on the ground floor (accomodates 2 people ), a double bed and a single bed on the first floor, linen is available, wi-fi. The nearest lake is a 13-minute walk through the forest along a beautiful path.

The wood-burning sauna has a soft steam and a large landscape window. The sauna has a large terrace area for lounging and cooking (barbecue and smoker). Cottage Kotiranta is located on the shore of Lake Saimaa on Taipalsaari. The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend some time in the spacious yard playing games or observing the birds from the terrace. The cottage's yard is bordered by a beach with a gloriously deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a pier for swimming or sunbathing. You'll have access to a rowboat, so you can fish if you want to. Many guests are delighted with the abundant fish catches.

Villa Myllymäki

Built on top of Myllymäki with your own hands, it's easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the stunning scenery. The entire window the size of the end wall frames the stunning lake scenery. The farm has about 40 acres of animal grazing forest that guarantees easy and great hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10km by car or 6km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

The closest grocery store is just a 5-minute drive away in the center of Anttola. If you're looking for a place to stay in the tranquility of nature by the lake, or your interests are camping/hiking, I recommend our cozy cabin for your stay. The cottage is a good way to get there.

Varila, renovated in 2020, is a wooden cottage fit to accomodate small families. The surroundings of the cottage are in undisturbed, natural state with spaceous view to Lake Saimaa. The surrounding pine moor is perfect for backpacking and berry or mushroom picking. location is very private no neighbor is sight. excellent place to go fishing. cottage has an ecological toilet in a separate building

Ski/Bike Cottage near the Lake

In summer there is a lake and bike paths, in winter there is alpine skiing! The cottage is located 100 meters from the Laskettelukeskus Friski ski resort. The nearest supermarket, gas station and other shops are in the center of Ruokolahti, 5 km away. The city of Imatra is 15 km away. Lilla Hammar

Cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin includes a loft bed and a pull out couch for one to four people, a small kitchen, a fireplace and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna. The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Smoking and pet free area. Children are wellcome.  Warmly wellcome to our guest!
