the place is clean, clean water, closer to main road. everything as in the pictures, good check in and check out times. I would recommend this for people looking for a secure hosting.

This is an amazing place for a getaway from the busy life of Nairobi. Located on the edge of the Ngong Hills, the scenery here is beautiful and it really is a quiet and serene location. The house itself is spacious with multiple seating areas and multiple bedrooms - the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here (6 people) and wished we would have booked for longer.

I had a wonderful month in this gorgeous property. The interior design and quality of bedding are both worthy of mention. Jenni was the perfect hostess and the staff working there couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I will definately be back! Thank you for the warm welcome and great experience.

We stayed here for a week. It’s a peaceful, secure, and beautiful place to stay near Nairobi, nestled among tea plantations. The house is very spacious and has many rooms with well sound-insulated doors. The living room area is cozy and comfortable, as well as two lounge zones. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the outdoor kitchen is a huge-huge plus. The Starlink internet is fast and stable - it was crucial for remote work, like in our case. The hosts are wonderful - proactive, friendly, and genuinely caring. They truly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

An amazing space with lots of greenery and outdoor space, hospitable staff members, close proximity to the giraffe Center. I would highly recommend this space for a couple of single traveller.

The guesthouse was well laid out, with comfortable chairs, various beds and effective hot water. The internet was excellent. Having a dedicated washing machine and clothes line was very much appreciated. George and Edwin were wonderful hosts. The compound is quite secure and peaceful. It did not take long to get used to the roosters crowing and on Sundays, the choir of the church off to the north could be heard singing uplifting hymns and songs. Access through the front gates was easy and the address is well recorded on the maps for online deliveries such as Uber Eats or Glovo. Similarly easy to organise ridesharing. The location provides easy access to Runda, Gigiri, Village Market, Two Rivers and beyond. It is also close to Kiambu Road for quick access in either direction.

We loved our stay at Kamunoru cottage. It is strategically placed on the edge of the Great Rift Valley just about 1 hour drive from Nairobi. A 10 min walk with the caretaker Mr Kamau brought us to the most peaceful and breathtaking view of Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot. Waking up to the clean,crisp and cold air with birds chirping, cows mooing and rain drizzling was an experience one cannot get elsewhere. The house was squeaky clean with enough pots, pans and utensils for a seamless cooking experience. The caretaker and his family were very friendly and hospitable and ensured we had no complains during our stay. Highly recommend this beautiful escape if you want to stay within Nairobi but still want to enjoy a farmhouse type stay.

Nice , Quaint and Quiet

Let me just start at the front gate... there is the best security guards here, one time a taxi driver hit our gate and they came and removed him within 60 seconds! The double security is amazing, you can walk this place at night under street lights and feel TOTALLY comfortable. You feel like you're living in a premier neighborhood in Nairobi and get treated like royalty around here, it's amazing. So, super safe and luxurious neighborhood. I lived here for a few months before and ALWAYS stay here when it's available when I travel to Nairobi. Great host and great girls helping on site. My kids had a playground, and the hot water and water pressure is amazing for Kenya. Lovely compound, very peaceful. Many times I wish I still lived here. Good internet connection. I haven't stayed in the big house, this one is my favorite, it's so cozy. Comfortable couch. There is an outdoor area to sunbathe and I love walking here. No complaints it's the best and great value. Cliff Top Cottage was the perfect escape — peaceful, private, and with breathtaking views. The cottage is cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout. Watching the sunrise from the deck was a highlight. The host was helpful, making the stay even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature!

We had a great stay at Jo's cottage. Everything was as described, and Jo was very responsive and helpful. Property supervisor Christopher who lives nearby is lovely and helpful, too. The only confusion we had when finding the place resulted from the pin on airbnb not being in the right spot (which matters because there's no actual address). This should be an easy fix. Overall, great value--highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage in beautiful grounds, recently renovated with a great new bathroom. Delightful hosts who made sure we were right at home. It’s a peaceful green part of town that feels almost in the wild, but right nearby Nairobi’s best restaurant and next to stunning new distillery Shagalabagala. Highly recommended and would definitely come again.

I love the outdoors, just looking into the green space gave me a total sense of relaxation. Every detail of the interior is well thought and of good taste. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The picnic was a highlight! I would definitely recommend a visit to this breathtaking cottage.
