I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

Good starting point for hikes in Hainich or bike tours along the Werra. Very well-equipped, functional kitchen. Quiet. Supermarket and restaurant within walking distance. Check-in and check-out are absolutely uncomplicated via the key box. No contact with the landlord during the stay. Somewhat unpleasant smell in the hallway, but it does not bother you in the apartment. A CO2 cartridge in the existing soda maker would have been nice. A little coffee powder for the first morning - even if you arrive late.

Our stay was simply great, we felt right at home. The apartment really offers everything you have at home. The bed is a dream😌. Everything is very clean, bright, spacious, even a generous freezer is available. Lots of nature directly within walking distance but also many possibilities to do something by car (Erfurt/Weimar/Coburg) 😊 but even after 1 week stay - the time was far too short. The contact with Nicole and her family was also very nice, you felt welcome right away🤗. We really lacked nothing, definitely worth a visit - be it for hiking, for city trips or simply to relax again. Susann and her husband are super great hosts and it was a very pleasant communication. There is nothing missing and you immediately feel comfortable. The beds are very pleasant and the kitchen perfectly furnished.

We loved our stay in this spacious renovated apartment. We liked the huge bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped (but no microwave which is usual for us but apparently common in Germany). The apartment is in a quiet area a short walk to the city centre. Nice balcony too! Sebastian was a delightful host, always available to answer any questions or offer suggestions. Checkin and out was so simple too. Highly recommend this apartment.

It is quiet, the city center is within walking distance. In addition, it is very well equipped, nothing is missing. The landlord is very friendly and communicative. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is very nice and well/well equipped. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking, and the utensils are in great shape and are in great shape. The bathroom is also comfortable and the large bathtub invites you to relax on a cool day. The lots of wood in the apartment adds to a cozy ambiance. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. The location is beautiful surrounded by nature. You can take wonderful walks through the greenery from the apartment. It's just the thing if you want to relax and unwind. We would visit again immediately and would also like to try the restaurant next time, which unfortunately was closed at the time. Full score! :)

Everything you need to spend a few nice days in the Thuringian Forest. The accommodation is a self-contained apartment in a larger detached house, but you don't get too much from the neighbors. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was really sparkling clean. The contact with Jörg was friendly and uncomplicated. There's nothing to complain about. A good starting point for local hikes.

We had a lovely stay at Dirk's apartment. We spent a weekend with the whole family in both accommodations and had everything you need there. Thanks a lot!

The apartment is very nicely located in the center of Schmalkalden. The apartment is well appointed and was very clean. Directions are a bit complicated, as Google Maps approaches the building from the front, here is a kind of green area, not the parking lot. It would have been nice if it had been pointed out that the 3rd bedroom is a connecting room to one of the other bedrooms. All in all, a nice stay in a very modern, neat and well-equipped apartment.

We had a wonderful time staying with Martin and Isolde! The place was very clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. You can tell right away how much passion they put into their home. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available when questions came up. The location is quiet yet well connected – perfect for relaxing. We highly recommend staying with them!

It was a nice stopover on our journey from Hamburg to Garmisch. We felt comfortable and were able to take a nice hike directly from the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay in the feel-good oasis of Madeleine and Martin! The apartment is lovingly and individually furnished, super comfortable with cozy beds and a spacious living area. We particularly enjoyed the balcony and outdoor jacuzzi. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and made the stay even more enjoyable. The hobby room was an absolute highlight! Everything was very clean and maintained. A perfect place to relax and discover the surroundings. Highly recommend!

Ideal as a starting point for a hike to the Wartburg with a little more time to the Dragon Gorge. The apartment is very nicely furnished and has everything and more than you need. Check-in via the key box went smoothly. We enjoyed the stay very much and would love to come back sometime.
