Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Royal National Park

My partner and I stayed in this cosy studio for two nights and really enjoyed it. The place was just as described and had a beautiful view of the water and sunrise. The kitchen had everything we needed and the layout was well thoughtout and made use of the space. We only did some a small walk to the Jibbon Rock Engravings, but I can imagine that this would be a perfect base if you would like to continue down the coast line of the Royal National Park.

I stayed at Simon's place for 6 weeks and had an amazing experience. The space was incredibly cozy, private, and relaxed, making me feel right at home from the start. Simon and Sacha were fantastic hosts, always accommodating any requests and ensuring I had everything I needed. The place has a private entrance, which gives a real sense of privacy, and there's a lovely little table where you can enjoy your morning coffee. It's located in the peaceful southern part of town, just a short 15-minute walk to the train station and close to the beautiful Royal National Park. Falling asleep to the sounds of birds and waking up to a beautiful garden view was a highlight of my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

Niesh and Rob were great hosts! We stayed at their Waterfront Cottage for 3 nights and loved it! It was very cosy for a winter weekend away. The sun drenched living area was so comfortable. We felt right at home cooking in the kitchen and relaxing on the comfy lounges. We enjoyed a fire by the waters edge and made use of the kayak. Had a great morning kayaking around and taking in the beautiful scenery! Enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the wildlife and stunning views. Only a short drive into Bundeena for plenty of food options. Great bbq area and balcony overlooking the water. We can’t wait to come back again when the weather warms up! Thanks for having us :)

Gorgeous sea cottage overlooking the cliff. So well designed and decorated with curated eyes in both art collection and furnishings. Private and quiet even though there’s a house directly behind sea cottage. Perfect for a writer and artist as I got so much done with the sea as inspiration. Cockatoos came and visited me everyday. 1st day just by himself, day 2 he brought his partner, on day 3 he invited 8 more of his friends so the 9 of them welcome me with fanfare!

This house is absolutely stunning, you will not want to leave. The view is spectacular, the inside was cosy and spacious, it looked like it was straight out of a magazine and perfect for a weekend to hang with friends. We will be back because we loved it so much! Thanks for being great hosts! We were lucky enough to get an early check-in and late check-out, which we appreciated greatly!

We had a wonderful weekend away in Peters beautiful apartment. Beautiful places to watch a sunrise, walking distance from local cafes and shops. We would love to come back some day!

Peter's place was awesome! We were a party of 8 and the house wasn't crowded for us. We felt comfy. The view was amazing! Peter was very responsive with our questions. It was a very enjoyable stay

We had a wonderful stay at Bundeena Beach House! The location is perfect—just steps from the beach in a peaceful and quiet setting. The house has a beautiful, modern design with a minimalist interior that feels calm, spacious, and thoughtfully curated. We especially loved the internal courtyard garden, which brings in natural light and a sense of tranquility. The back garden is also beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—including a lovely French iron fireplace that we really enjoyed. Great communication with the hosts too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea.

This place was the perfect location when we needed to be at the Pavilion in Sutherland. It was walking distance. The place had everything we could ask for but it was near the train station so you could hear the trains go past. Also it is street parking which varied in availability. I would stay here again if I needed to go to Sutherland again.

Gary provided a lovely little place that I found very convenient for visiting the Sea Cliff Bridge and the cliffside pubs in Scarborough and Clifton. It's got a great outlook of the sea horizon, and was free of suburban noise so that I could fall asleep to the sound of the ocean in a soft, warm bed. I only breakfasted at the accommodation, but the kitchen was well appointed, as were the other facilities. The internet was spot on. Gary was exceedingly helpful and communicative, and I can certainly recommend this listing for solo travellers such as myself looking to spend some time in relative luxury away from Wollongong. The bus north is right across the road, and the stops heading south are within easy enough walk, too.

I had a great stay at lujias place. The communication was clear and timely from the beginning, which made check-in easy and stress-free. The home was clean, well-maintained, and matched the listing photos exactly. The host clearly put thought into the little details—extra towels, kitchen essentials, and even some local tips—which made the stay more comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was easy to get around from the location. I appreciated the host’s responsiveness and willingness to help with any questions. Our stay at Luke & Ebony's flat was wonderful start to finish. The flat smelled and looked great on arrival, and they had gone to the effort of leaving us some fresh bread, yoghurt, muesli, tea/coffee, and milk! We instantly felt very at-home :) They are super friendly and accomodating, and left the flat with some helpful things e.g. body wash, food clips, cooking utensils, pots and pans, oil & soy sauce, etc. Their dog Tashy is also a delight. The area is full of lovely people, one of the highlights being a coffee stall open early every weekday, on the way to Woolooware station. It's also quite easy to get to local grocery stores and restaurants, although the main road at the end of the street could possibly benefit from some traffic lights! That's not at all a problem with the airbnb though, just something to be careful of as a pedestrian. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay alone or as a couple, and I thank Luke & Ebony for their thoughtful hosting :)

I had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy studio in Cronulla. It’s a lovely space with everything you need for a comfortable visit. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the stunning shoreline and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend for a peaceful coastal getaway!

Strongly recommend for the stay in Sydney, especially if you are beach lover! Location super convenient to the congee and great amenities within short distance. Although we did not get a chance to nice Penny, from the conversation with her, I can feel she is a sincere host and help you along the way even before arrival. Her place is spotlessly clean and comfortable to stay.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Sharon’s one bedroom in the city! First, Sharon was a gem of a host! She was very responsive and sent detailed instructions with pictures for check in, knowing it could be confusing to find. She was also flexible to allow us to drop off bags early, which was a huge help! The apartment was just as described, a comfy space to come back to after big days of exploring! It was very clean and had all we needed for our stay.

This stay was amazing. It had all the amenities you needed for a nice weekend away and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The host was very kind and responded to messages promptly. Would highly recommend this stay.
