Perfect house for a lake weekend! Pool and fire pit were great. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying at Laurie’s home and had an incredible weekend. The space was perfect for our 20-person baby shower and the home was a cozy place to relax before and after. I was a little concerned if the A/C would be sufficient in an older home, but it worked great along with the updated appliances. You are about 12 minutes from town but feel like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This property is the perfect place to make special memories with loved ones and we hope to stay here again someday!

We loved having a girl’s weekend at the lake to celebrate the start of summer! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and couches! We loved this place!

The cottage is a beautiful escape into an quieter and simpler way of life. Well equipped. Easy commute to the transportation museum, downtown shops and restaurants and wineries. Our second stay, and the whole family had another truly remarkable experience. Will be back 💕

Thanks everything was great from me asking how far you were from the location of our event for the weekend. To me and my family making memories. It’s hard to make memories with adult children in the start of their careers but this home allowed my husband and myself to make those memories. From myself and my youngest being able to open the windows and talk to my husband and my oldest down on the dock fishing and my grandpup watching his mom and pop pop fish with granny and auntie. So thank you for opening up your home to us. It’s definitely worth the money!

We loved our stay ! It was very peaceful and so beautiful, our 1yr old son enjoyed walking through the property and seeing all the beautiful animals. I would definitely stay here again !

My son graduated from Highpoint University this past weekend and we wanted a place we could all be together. The kids and teens loved the pool, game room, and basketball hoop. The adults loved the view, the fireplace, and sitting out on the deck. the kitchen was stocked well and the host provided restaurant recs which were terrific. I would absolutely stay here again if my travels brought me to North Carolina.

The house was clean and in a perfect location for our daughter’s graduation. Check in was easy and the house was just as described.

I rented this home for my daughter's 16th birthday and we really had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and the lake with the kayaks and the paddle board were fantastic! My daughters also loved the swings and the hammocks. We did have an issue out of the owners control and they responded within minutes and were willing to do whatever they could to help. We would definitely love to go back at another time!

Absolute perfect place for a long weekend getaway. House was perfect with so much to do inside and out. We definitely plan to stay again thru the years when visiting family. Definitely recommend.

Michelle’s place was extremely clean in a very nice & quiet area. Michelle was very attentive when it came to communication, and she was completely understanding of me and my guest current situation which is highly appreciated. This was a great stay, and i will definitely be returning. ❤️

This was an amazing stay! We had a great few days fishing on high rock, it was so nice having a private and peaceful place to come back to after a long day fishing. This is most definitely a place we will come back to! Thanks Angie for a great place to stay!

This was our second stay with the Yangs, and once again, everything was fantastic. They’re always great with communication, and their place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind when we’re in town for racing. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Susan was very accommodating. I asked for a 2 pm arrival and she had the place clean by 1:30. And didn't charge us any additional fees. Upon arrival the house and property itself were immaculate. super clean and well taken care of. tThe bed was comfy and living room furniture suited our needs. the nieghbors kept to themselves. There were a few kids playing in the street and seemed friendly. We will recommend our friends and family if visiting the area.

We found “Maine state of mind” in Kannapolis a well equipped home close to DT. The owners Hunter & Jordan were extremely accommodating and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed ! We certainly would recommend them as hosts. Thank you . Pamela & Ken Brodhead

This is our second time staying at this property. House is very clean and nice neighborhood. James gives you his cell number if you have any issues during your stay he is very response on answering you. We had a great stay!

Amazing home right on the lake. Lots of room for our whole extended family. Kids loved the kayak, paddle boards etc. Great directions on how to get there and access everything. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook big family meals. Definitely would stay again.

We absolutely loved this place! We didn’t do much as we were in town to visit family, but are planning on coming back in the summer. The beds were all very comfortable and there was so much room!

Lawanda communicated effectively, the check in and check out process was very smooth. The house was very clean and YES! It’s 4 blocks from downtown Salisbury which was very cool for my teenagers. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway in a very safe neighborhood

I loved the stay at this BnB. Keona was so helpful and so nice I couldn’t help but feel so welcomed and at home. Beds were so comfy and so warm and the living room tv has all the apps to watch tv. It was so nice. I love it!!!

What a gem, hard to put into words how much we enjoyed the place and our hosts. Cute, cozy, and clean with a beautiful lakeside setting. The place is well equipped, we needed nor wanted for anything. Our host was incredibly responsive and has great communication, very pleasant person. We are already looking to book our next stay there.

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

The views of High Rock were beautiful! It was so peaceful to walk the pier and take in the scenery. The space was very clean and the owners were very responsive to questions we had. Our kids loved kayaking and jumping of the pier but the highlight was catching a catfish from the pier! 10/10 recommend!
