Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Routt County

Beautiful home in a beautiful area, the house was super cozy and very clean. Me and my friends stayed here for skiing and it was a really convenient distance from the parking lot to the lifts! Would absolutely recommend!

Jay and Shelley’s place was a perfect fit for my wife and me. Our daughter and Diana’s brother stayed with us and we all had plenty of room. The ease of moving our gear from our snowmobiling trailer and truck into the cabin was very easy. No stairs, elevators and only a few steps to front door. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We had room to park our snowmobile trailer in his main yard by the corrals. We will definitely be looking at staying here again. 😊

Fantastic stay at Sunlight Mountain Lodge. Clean, spacious, luxurious. Beautiful view of the mountains. The hosts worked with us for an early check-in. They gave us information about the area and even about a local festival that was going on with fireworks viewable from the patio. Well stocked kitchen with all the essential cookware, plates, utensils. Would stay again if ever in the area. FYI for any future guests, the house is best accessed by car, and there is a 2-car garage. Easy 5 minute drive to town and 10-15 minutes to the ski resort where parking was never an issue. The streets in the neighborhood are well maintained with regard to snow, but there can be some accumulation, and the house is on a hill. We were able to make do through a couple of days of moderate snowfall with a FWD van. Heavy snowfall would have necessitated AWD to get in and out by my judgment.

The Spruce Nest is a gem! From the moment we opened the door to a cozy fire to then locking it up until the next time, we cannot say enough about the place, the amenities, the beds, the beer on tap and frosted mugs in the freezer in concert with Tom's attention to every detail from reservation to the date of this review. I apparently left a book and Tom contacted me and is mailing it back to me. Talk about a fantastic host! We yet to stay in a place where our dogs were as welcomed and their needs so attentively considered. The location is amazing and there is a dog park near by that is not to be missed. There is another residence attached that we had the fortune of viewing and it looks just as incredible. We can't wait to come back! Enjoy this little Steamboat nugget!

I was in town for work. But if I was there for the snowboarding, it would have been great. There’s a bus stop for the free Steamboat transit right out the front door. This place is larger than I expected it to be. Almost everything you need is in the unit. I make work trips to Steamboat often and will be staying again.

Beautiful, brand new home. High grade (but not custom) finishes. Amazing light throughout the main floor with great views of the resort from the kitchen. Had all the amenities that we could have asked for. We cooked a couple meals and had everything we needed. We were there in the fall so the private gondola wasn’t running, but it’s a short walk over there to get up to the base of the resort, so super convenient location if you’re there for the resort. There are a LOT of stairs inside though, so don’t rent this place if you have trouble walking. Only complaint was with the management company, Steamboat Lodging. Be careful with them…they are sneaky. They ask you to sign a separate lease agreement with all their listings and don’t comply with Airbnb policies in this respect. They’re required by Airbnb to clearly disclose the terms of this lease agreement in the listing BEFORE guests book, but they don’t. Then when I called them out on that, they implied it was my fault for not knowing.

Great place for my family of 6 + dog. Charlie & Cassie’s place is close to skiing, hot springs, hiking and plenty more. It’s clean, very roomy and has whatever you would need. They are very responsive and even let us check in early. Would for sure stay again!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The condo was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to feel comfortable and relaxed from the start. Everything was neat, thoughtfully set up, and exactly as described in the listing. One of the standout features was the view! The mountains were absolutely beautiful, especially in the early mornings and evening. It really added something special to the experience 🏔️ Dana, the host was also great to communicate with. She was friendly, quick to respond, and easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. It made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Overall, this was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean space with stunning views and a helpful host. Thank you Dana we loved our stay!

Our family had a great time staying at Stefanie’s! There was more than enough room for us all to sleep comfortably, and her place is beautiful! She was super responsive — absolutely would recommend to everyone looking for a fun weekend getaway in Steamboat.

Amazing stay! Great location, you’re super close to the resort and right next to a city market. Kitchen had everything you need and more. Woke up to the sound of birds chirping in the window, truly serene. If needing a quick get away, whether it’s a day on the mountain or just enjoying what steam boat has to offer, this is a great choice!

This was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet and so peaceful. Close to many great restaurants and places to relax and soak in the beautiful mountain energy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our host Eric was amazing and quick to respond. Communication was great and he was very helpful.

The place was just like the photos on the listing. Comfortable for our family of 4 for our long weekend ski vacation. Plenty of room and it was nice to have access to the ski locker for our skis. Kitchen was well stocked to cook breakfast each morning before a full day of skiing. Easy ski out. A little bit of a hike back up a hill at the end of the day to the unit if you choose to ski back. There is shuttle to and from the base but it doesn’t run after 5:30 we figured out. Plenty of parking if you rent a car. We were happy to have a car to head into town each night It was a treat to be slope side.

We loved it. Easy on and off the slopes, easy check in, quiet condo.

We had a fabulous time here, it has a great location and I hope to come back soon!

The amenities at the resort were great… pools, playground, etc… and the grounds also were lovely. The resort staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating as well.

We had a great stay! Very clean, two beds, lots of great kitchen appliances and cookware. Felt really safe and was a great perk to have access to a hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Would highly recommend!
