There are many nice things in our area. Not least all the nice Dala villages, fishing in the river, the beautiful mushroom forest, hiking, paddling, biking, etc. Avesta Golf is "our neighbor" and you have the golf course at a convenient distance from the property. In summer, we recommend "Verket" and "Avesta Art" where you can experience the magical mix of history, art and modern technology. The magazine in Tuna, has finally come back to life! Newly renovated and decorated to be able to offer cozy accommodation in the countryside. Come a long weekend with friends, cook around the kitchen island or book a private dinner in the "Farm House". It is a beautiful environment where you are happy to take walks, a bike ride or swim in Mälaren. The magazine is secluded from the host's residence, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights of Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Herbre in natural farm environment

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Lea's basement - Cozy cottage in the countryside with fireplace

In the small village of Delbo, 1 mile north of Sala in Västmanland, is this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as a self-catering for a long time but even if you just want to stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi and monitor with Chromecast.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.
