Cabin holiday rentals in Ross County

Absolutely loved it. We were in town for the Kenworth Factory Show and we had missed the date to get a hotel room so I happened upon this rental and I was extremely satisfied my husband and I said that if we come back we will definitely bring staying her again

This place was beautifully decorated/designed and so clean! It was quiet and peaceful, which is just what we needed. Our kids loved the hot tub, the porch swings, and the loft. It was only 25 minutes to get to the main hocking hills hikes. There is a small town nearby, but in general the house is very secluded, which was great for relaxing! We will definitely come back again!

Exactly as pictured, very quiet and secluded, comfortable, and would recommend for others to stay. This was our first one and we weren't sure what to expect.

The stay was absolutely fantastic. Private and peaceful and even on the rainy days there was so much to do, (pool table, arcade games and so much more). The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The hosts were kind, friendly and reachable and made communication easy. Definitely worth the stay!

If you're looking to get away, look no further! Heather's Airstream was exactly as described in the most peaceful & serene location. Getting out and about was easy & there were lots of fun things to do for our family of three both on site & a little drive away. Heather was extremely helpful, checking in & solving questions we had about the camper. Prior to our trip, she even made some suggestions of places to check out that were family friendly & all were exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely return to the stunning & peaceful retreat!

The Higby House was in one word AWESOME! It is luxuriously appointed with everything you might need or want. The decor was just perfect! Everything high end. The location is so peaceful it was hard to say goodbye. The hosts were on top of everything and made an extra effort to make sure our stay was as expected. Our stay far exceeded those expectations! Given the opportunity we would stay again and again. A great place to make family memories. Thank you!!

The cabin is a peaceful, comfortable getaway in the woods and was exactly what I was hoping for. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It is an excellent escape from the daily grind.

The cabin was wonderful - a peaceful retreat. There were great options for relaxing outside - 2 porches and the fire pit area. All had comfy sitting options - including swings and Adirondack chairs. It was a private area with lots of wildlife to observe. The inside was cute, very clean, and cozy. Hosts were very proactive in their communication. We used their guide to find wineries, canoeing options and hiking trails. Great getaway - looking forward to returning!

One of the most memorable Airbnb stays I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at a lot of great ones! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts put an incredible amount of thought into every detail of the property. The backyard alone is worth the trip, private, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Perfect for relaxing or hanging out after a round of golf. But the real star of the show is Spud Run Golf. This isn’t your average backyard course, it’s a truly creative and unique experience. Every tee shot felt intentional, with thoughtful design that made each hole fun, challenging, and scenic. The views were some of the best I’ve ever seen at a property like this, and the course had a personal, handcrafted charm that rivals any public course. If you appreciate craftsmanship, creativity, and a one-of-a-kind golf experience, this is the spot. Already looking forward to coming back! Shout out to Jeremy and his family for the welcome vibe and the hospitality!

Enjoyed our weekend at this clean, well equipped home with beautiful surroundings! Plenty of hiking available and great restaurants in Chillicothe. Also, took time to enjoy some aerial yoga and other mental relaxation at the Geode nature dome just down the street! Great weekend to get away from the business of life! Hot tub was clean and ready to go and the back deck looked out over the scenic woods beyond. Plenty of games to choose from too!
