House holiday rentals in Rodrigues

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romain's place. Romain a friendly and very responsive host. The location is great, peaceful but convenient. The accommodation is on a small road on the hillside, just 2km outside Port Mathurin. The accommodation is surrounded by a nice large garden full of fruit trees with lovely views down to the ocean. There is a small outdoor pool just a few steps outside the door. The accommodation itself is light and airy and consists a bedroom, bathroom and an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, sink and a gas ring. It is well equipped with pans, crockery and cutlery and utensils. In the lounge there is a comfortable sofa, a TV and lots of books. There is AC in the bedroom and a ceiling fan in the lounge. Outside there is a small covered terrace with armchairs and and another dining table. The Wifi worked well throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this place

I spent four days at Yves' house with my sister and my parents. Yves was very attentive and communication was very easy. The house was spotless (plus they came two days to clean it). And very cozy. On the day of our arrival there was coffee, water and other products for our welcome. A special mention to Bernard, who is in charge of the house. Always friendly and smiling, he helps you with everything. We also enjoyed flexibility to get into the accommodation and the day we left. All in all, a 10-star stay!

Elvita's is the smile and the extra service; family atmosphere and always available; matches the temperament of Rodriguans in general; it is an island of calm and smiling everywhere. 10 minute walk to restaurants including the unmissable blue marlin and for a minimal price. Using local buses (stop in front of Elvita's) is an excursion and atmosphere in itself: and for 24 rupees you go to the Port Mathurin bus station from where all buses leave to everywhere.

Listing as described, Ian is a welcoming host. Accommodation in a peaceful and secluded setting, suitable for a family. It will be necessary to benefit from a car (scooter)to move, place quite remote from the main axes, it is accessed by a path. No wifi in the listing and a washing machine. However, wifi is available in the common space. And for the washing machine it is offered by the host for the sum of 500 rupees. A positive point of the location, it is equidistant from all the activities offered on the island ( max 20 min by car). We recommend this place.

Great sea window stay! The Villa is beautiful, clean, very well located and with a magnificent view (better than in the photos!). Ringo is available, is happy to help and is very friendly. No negative points to share. We'll be back without hesitation for a second!

The house is spacious, comfortable and functional, and the best is that each room has its own bathroom and toilet . The view of the lagoon from the terrace is very beautiful. For the dishwasher and washing machine part, you have to go through Fabiola (house staff). The location is ideal minutes away from Mont Lubin, Gravier and Mourouk.

Mireille gave us a great welcome, family friendly, very professional. She organized a boat trip with picnic to Île aux Chats, a tour of the island by taxi, told us about nearby restaurants and their specialties... The house is large, well located, impeccably kept. As a bonus, Mireille is also a hiking guide, she showed us a superb off the beaten track. I recommend the accommodation as much as the person.

We will come back without no doubt. The place was clean. The host was very kind. The house is located in a very peaceful area with sea view and the beach is only at 10 minutes. We recommend at 100%!

Accommodation at the height of the description. Great location and close to Port Mathurin. Very quiet. Nice residential house. Spacious with lovely sea views upstairs. On the ground floor, a welcoming garden. Everything is there to satisfy a good holiday. Rodrigues is a little paradise where tranquility, respect, smile, kindness is omnipresent . The beauty of its lagoons is remarkable. Green greenery. I rented scooters and frankly it was really great. The December kreol festival is to be seen, different bands bring you in different sounds... what a pleasure. I loved this island. Thank you Cristine, Jeanine, Patrick for your very warm welcome. We had a lovely stay, we would recommend this place. Jean noel was very welcoming, we had fresh fruit in the morning and very caring and warm touches.

Great stay! Very beautiful and uncluttered villa, beautiful view and quick access by car to the gravel beach where beautiful steps are accessible as well as boat rides! Ringo, very friendly manager of the villa, provided us with delicious local food products! He was there and helpful throughout our stay, as well as the housekeeper! We definitely want to go back!

Our stay at Marie Christine's was like Rodrigues... The house was clean and functional. It is located in a very quiet area in the immediate vicinity of the cove of the English which makes it easy to walk at sunset (but be careful the house is on the heights so it takes a little breath to go up). A big thank you to our host who welcomed us with fresh water and some fruits from the garden, gave us excellent addresses of typical restaurants and recommended us beautiful walks throughout our stay. She was very responsive when we had small issues in the house and felt accompanied throughout the stay. If we come back to Rodrigues, we'll be happy to come back here...
