Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

We have just arrived back from a weekend here and it was absolutely fantastic. Child friendly, so clean and tidy, everything felt brand new. The bedrooms are a good size and the upstairs bathroom is lovely. Garden views are wonderful, such a big social space. Sarah was so helpful and responsive, she answered all our questions and there was even chocolates and biscuits on arrival which was lovely! Kitchen very well equipped with everything you might need. Intend to return later in the year.

Recently had a 3 day stay, Jason was the perfect host and made communication extremely easy. The property is amazing with beautiful views of the river. It has been lovingly restored to a high standard to the historical period it was built in. It contains everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was really comfortable, and the communal garden was beautiful. We loved the quirkiness of the house. It is perfectly located close to all the shops and eateries and the train station is only a 12 minute walk away. I would not hesitate in highly recommending this amazing property and definitely will return.

We stayed in one of the pods overnight and it was beautiful Steph was super helpful and accommodating from start to end.The pod was very cosy clean, not to mention the beautiful surroundings which included a fire pit for each pod where you could sit round in the evenings. A large amount of fire supplies were left by the host and if needed more could easily be obtained. The bathroom pod and the kitchen facility had clearly been thoroughly planned and put together with the guests’ needs at the forefront. A lovely touch was the milk, butter and eggs left. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again!

This was a base for me as I continued a long distance walk. It provided everything I needed and the host was excellent on communication and nothing was too much trouble. The other residents helped make me feel at home as well which I haven’t experienced before at a property like this. The location of the property was excellent as well just a short pleasant walk to the City Centre. All in all I would highly recommend.

This house is a real gem of a find! The house is beautifully pristine and well equipped. The beds are beautifully made and super comfortable. We really enjoyed the lovely outdoor private garden to the rear, especially with the weather being particularly hot. We had an event at the international centre and the house is in a perfect location to get there. Thank you to our hosts, we will be booking again!

The type of place you never want to leave. Not only is the accommodation superb, in the most tranquil location, with the most beautiful views. But the hosts made it special, with a warm greeting, little touches for my stay, and of course everything you’d expect to the highest standard. I can’t wait to go back!
