Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rocky Mountains

The place is spacious and modern with so many amenities. The view to the outside from several spots on the house is stunningly gorgeous. There is a long deck for relaxing outside and the sunsets are fabulous. Beaches are a short drive away. Everything was perfect. We felt welcomed and cared for in the way things were set up. We would stay here again!

Our stay here was beautiful and peaceful. The elevated level we stayed on made for beautiful and striking views from both levels. The room was so cozy and the backyard was so beautiful and peaceful as well.

This place is absolutely amazing. If you want peaceful place with modern amenities this place is a must. Stayed here for 4 days with my family and my 3 yr old absolutely loved it. You can enjoy sunset from the bedroom and sunrise from the living while looking at Teton Mountains. Stars at night were just absolutely amazing. Its worth every $ if you are looking for Luxury stay in the mountains.

The inside is great, and the outside is even better! We spent a lot of time by the fire pit, and loved exploring the trails. Extremely comfortable and quiet, with a friendly, helpful host.

The house was beautiful, looked exactly like the pictures, and super clean, which was comforting after a long day of driving. Michelle was friendly and very responsive to in her messages. We traveled with two small children and two dogs and felt right at home. Added bonus that the property is fenced in. We loved eating dinner outside on the patio. This house is very close to downtown Crestone and various hiking trails, all of which we utilized during our stay. The kitchen is stocked well with cooking supplies.

I wish I could give more than five stars! This place was so easy to access, cozy and stylish! The view of the mountains was truly breathtaking and seeing cows come up to Grace’s right near the house was super sweet. The fireplace was my favorite feature for sure - it added an extra element of nature and a homey glow in the evenings. I would plan a trip all the way back out to New Mexico just to stay here again. It’s an icon, and he has not only an amazing amount of stuff related to Short Circuit, he also has a bunch of other really cool 80s stuff. You cannot beat the view off of the deck, day or night. I love this house so much!

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful accommodation with an incredible view overlooking the valley to Mt. Hood. The host was outstanding - great communication, very helpful with all our questions & requests. The apartment was immaculate & more than fully equipped - extra linens, a big supply of towels, snacks galore! The kitchen appliances were great, easy to use, and lots of cooking supplies were provided. For really outdoorsy types, even camping & similar supplies were available. Bed & sofa were super comfortable, Internet connection fast, Smart TV worked well with DVDs available for all tastes. The location was excellent, too - short-ish drives to Mt. Hood & various hikes in the National Forest, plus only a few minutes' drive to commercial areas for shopping. The host really thought of everything (even providing some padded hangers!). Our only regret: not staying longer. Thanks for a great experience.

Once again a great stay! We had been in the winter (JAN) and knew we had to experience it in the summer. Rented kayaks from Richard, no need to rent elsewhere, so convenient. Richard was nice enough to give us a ride on his pontoon boat upriver, less work for us, and a very appreciated birthday gift to me. A must see is Blue Heart Springs. It is our new favorite spot and only 3 hours from us. I anticipate visiting a couple times a year, love the area.

I can’t say enough nice things about this location. The views were lovely. The neighborhood was quiet. But most importantly Petra made us feel right at home. My sister and I had everything we could need and then some. Petra was very communicative and friendly. It was easy to find the property and parking. We got to enjoy starry nights with a fire pit and all the comforts of a home away from home. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy and beautiful stay.

Tiffany, checked on us via the app and welcomed us by leaving fresh flowers, treats, snacks, and muffins, etc. She has been very thoughtful about the supplies and amenities she stocked throughout. Staying here was fabulous- it was easy, and the Hillside Hideout was beautiful, comfortable, and was convenient to many places and activities! I would stay here again!

Wow! Talk about an amazing view! Can’t get much better than this! The mountains, Garden of the Gods, the trees and birds. Heavenly just sitting on that expansive balcony. The place itself was also perfect! Clean, spacious, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed too. We loved the place so much, we couldn’t wait to get back after a full day of hiking and biking. Would definitely return to the area and to this incredible BnB!

This was our first time in Leavenworth, and I was stunned by the mountains (we just moved from Park City, UT, to WA State). The condo is also in a perfect location, and my morning walk was right out the back door along the river. It was spacious and provided an ideal setting for my daughter to study and for my husband and me to go out on daily hikes! The view off the back deck was stunning, and we spent a fair amount of time there. The Master bedroom overlooks Front Street, and there can be noise when it's busy (aka weekends or summer). Hans sent over a fan as requested, and the white noise addressed that problem. I was a little surprised about the extra pet charge when we checked in. But I likely missed it in previous communication.

Leah's place was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The condo was clean and well furnished. She had fabulous amenities available. The view was awesome (right over the beach!) and a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Place was great, resort staff was great. My only concern that was completely out John’s control was the WiFi. It was completely open, meaning other people could see and login to your streaming device. This happened several times on the TVs. I eventually just used my phone as a hotspot. Don’t use the resorts WiFi, it was completely unacceptable to not have the devices isolated from each other.

⸻ We had a wonderful stay! The place has a beautiful view and was the perfect spot for my wife and me during our getaway. We were in town for a baseball tournament and mostly needed a comfortable, quiet place to sleep—and this spot was just right. The owner was very responsive, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the morning coffee—it was a super convenient touch. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our stay was for our 10 year anniversary when we entered the room is was decorated for us with a goody bag. the pictures don't even do the room justice. it was sooo beautiful. The was so comfortable it was the best sleep I've had in a while. the resort was amazing we was still finding new food spots there the day we was leaving. I definitely recommend this stay. Dearie and Sela was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely come back.
