The Meadow House was the best! Peaceful. Beautiful. Simplistic. Pristine. Lara is very responsive to any questions you may have and is so cordial. Loved the added touch of a bag of coffee as a welcome gift. Highly recommend to stay here if you want to unwind & relax. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot!

Loved staying here! Very peaceful and the river was very nice for fishing.

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

We had a great time at the beautiful cabin celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We loved sitting in the comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch watching the deer in the field across the street. The porch is so big that we were able to sit outside and listen to the rain. Tv and Wifi were great. The Pit Stop was a recommended restaurant that Rebecca had given and it was so good!! We had to ask Rebecca a question and she was QUICK to respond.

Very quiet and peaceful location with farm/country scenery all around. Cabin was cozy and comfortable ... ideal for a couple. The host was very responsive and also informative about nearby points of interest. We enjoyed our stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at the Chicken Coop! The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail made us feel so welcomed and at home. Our kids especially loved the big open yard—it was perfect for play and enjoying the outdoors. The whole place had such a warm and inviting feel. We’ll definitely be back again!

We loved this private little cabin nestled in the woods. No asphalt or houses or lights in sight, just the occasional vehicle traveling by unseen on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We stayed at the cabin for our wedding weekend and it was perfect! A nice, quiet spot to relax between events.

Marilyn’s space was perfect for a weekend getaway. Compatible kitchen (note there is no full sized oven but this wasn’t an issue), comfortable furniture, and absolutely stunning surroundings. We spent nearly all day outside hiking, wandering the property, or simply sitting in the yard/eating in the gazebo. Would one thousand percent stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful stay! Marilyn was also available for any needs we had and was respectful of privacy at the same time. Couldn’t be happier!

My girlfriend and I loved staying here. Cassandra’s place is very private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and building a bonfire. Also, we snuggled and watched a movie and were able to explore around the mountains. I’d highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved staying at the Trails End cabin with our kids. It was the perfect place and location for the outdoor activities we had planned. The children loved sleeping in the loft & we appreciated the little gift basket of goodies upon arrival. Would definitely stay again & would recommend to others!

Cozy cabin perfectly situated for a hike to the Channels, and a short drive from other area outdoor pursuits. Wood stove heats well and house is still warm in the morning. Basic kitchen utensils and gas burner met our needs. Hot showers even on cloudy days. Very quiet!

Our stay at Mark’s place was wonderful! We really enjoyed how peaceful and relaxing the cabin and setting was. My favorite thing about the cabin was how many different outdoor seating options there are, and the views from each area were beautiful! It was great for reading and relaxing. The area is very quiet as well. Everything was as described in the photos and description. The beds were comfy and the kitchen setup was great for cooking small meals each night. I would definitely stay again!

The place was beautiful and very close to the trails to ride our ATV. A place was private with no through traffic. We had plenty of linens and supplies that we needed.

this place was a wonderful get away! west virginia is always so beautiful. so clean, and peaceful. was a very nice way to reset.

We only had a one night stay at the Moonshiner’s Mansion. We loved everything about the cabin. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the back deck listening to the creek flow was very tranquil. We saw quite a bit of wild life, one of the cutest things we saw was watching a rabbit walk across the creek on a log. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Wow! This place goes above and beyond for the peaceful nature lover...true paradise. Cliff and Jill are wonderful people and made us feel right at home. From the mini donkeys, to a soaring eagle, this is a slice of heaven! This one I will return to again and again! Perfect stay for the New River Gorge NP explorer !
