Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Rockanje

Traveling in Europe for two months and this has been our favorite place. Coby was so friendly and helpful. We spent time with her and her husband Wilem and feel we’ve made Dutch friends.

A very nice quiet apartment with a small garden and sitting area. Very cozy. The apartment was very nicely furnished. We made excursions to Rotterdam and Utrecht and explored the area by bike.

Hans was a great host, the check in process was smooth, and we loved seeing the artwork and ceramics in his gallery and throughout the apartment. The location was perfect for exploring Gouda and the surrounding areas. We had a great stay and would 100% recommend!!

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

Michel was a wonderful host, always reachable and very nice and helpful. He is constantly trying to make the stay as beautiful as possible. We loved the house with the layout of the garden by the water and the beautiful view from the living room and terrace. The surrounding area is beautiful and much can be explored in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely come back. Thank you Michel!

Nice house with a good location. From there, we can easily visit Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Delicious breakfast items, including freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious apples. We also used the bicycles to explore the surroundings, which was very nice. It has a private parking lot on the premises.

The apartment is beautiful, tidy and everything was working perfectly. The location is great, close to local bars and restaurants, and also close to the beautiful dome of Utrecht. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Sytske and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. The small apartment corresponded to the pictures and the description. Tastefully and lovingly furnished with everything you need. Even a small terrace where you can end the evening or start the day. Very pretty. The location is great. You can walk to everything in the village. There is plenty of free parking within a few meters walking distance. We highly recommend it and are considering coming back in the fall.

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

The accommodation sleeps 4 people. The beds are upstairs. Living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and outdoor area are at ground level. The apartment is very stylish and very clean. Restaurants can be reached in 2-3 minutes. A baker is right around the corner. The place is very nice with many shops for shopping. The hosts were very friendly. For dog owners: There is an outdoor area that is available to you alone. This is completely fenced and well suited for dogs. A meadow for "important dog business" can be reached in 1.5 minutes. Just out the door, then left, directly right and 30 meters straight ahead. A garbage can with poop bags is available there. In general, the area was also very dog-friendly in the height of summer. Overall: 5* (5 stars)

Michiel and Marjolein are wonderful hosts. Their beautiful property is truly idyllic. The living space is very comfortable and intelligently planned - as guests, we felt very much at home. It was a joy in the mornings to wake early and hear the birdsong (so many varieties!) and sit with coffee by the beautiful pond overlooked by a majestic willow and wildflowers. The property is so private and very conveniently situated. We were really inspired by the gardens and are already planning our next visit! Thank you so much for all your hard work that makes your home so special. We are so grateful that you share it and wish you both a very happy summer ahead! Alexandra and Peter

Lovely apartment, very spacious and clean, super nice and considerate host, great views of historic Leiden (including the windmill!), close by all the sights in historic Leiden, wonderful outside patio. Would definitely stay there again!

Kevin and Gert's home was everything we needed and more for a relaxing stay in wonderful Antwerp ❤️ We had great communication from them prior to our stay, they were flexible when our arrival time changed and provided a lovely warm welcome when we finally got there! The space was even nicer in person than the photos and felt beautifully curated and calm. It was extremely spacious with a super comfy bedroom, and the balcony area was a lovely bonus. It was the perfect sanctuary after a busy day exploring. The local neighbourhood is very pretty and has plenty of restuarants, cafes, museums and lovely outdoor spaces. Kevin and Gert kindly gave us their recommendations for places to eat and explore but it was also really easy to walk out and find things and the tram stop at the top of the street made it easy to get further afield. We are already plotting our next trip to Antwerp, will definitely stay for longer next time, and would love to stay with Kevin and Gert again!

The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. A great apartment on 2 levels, central location and the possibility to rent ebikes directly from Janet made the vacation perfect. Restaurants are within walking distance, the beaches just a stone's throw away. We will definitely come again. Many thanks to Janet and her family.

We had a wonderful stay! It’s in a great location near so many food places and great stores. Everything is pretty walkable which made it nicer for our stay. I would stay here again !

Perfectly located apartment from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening. The beach bars are in the immediate vicinity. The center is about 15 minutes on foot. A plus point is the parking space belonging to the apartment and located on the property. We can definitely recommend the stylishly furnished beach house.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The apartment worked very well for three of us for a 9-night stay. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, champagne, and chocolate! The hosts were gracious, proactive, and helpful when we had questions or needs. The space is clean, well-lit, and modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Our daughter declared the sleep sofa the most comfortable she's ever slept on! The entry stairs are steep, but with the sturdy railing and good lighting we felt quite safe on them. The neighborhood has gems for dining and shopping, and you can walk to the City center. A laundromat that takes credit/debit cards is 4 blocks away. Tram stops are close, and they run on a frequent schedule. Parking is limited, so renting a bike is ideal. The bike lanes and traffic signals make it safe and easy to ride throughout the city. Venturing farther is possible by renting an electric car by the hour through the MyWheels app. Their cars are conveniently parked at charging stations around the neighborhood.

Great apartment with good amenities in an optimal location to the beach and the promenade. Very quiet. Very friendly and nice contact. Loving furnishings with small touches. Kitchen with coffee machine. Coffee, jam were even included. Parking nearby. However, we did not move the car during our stay. Everything was good and easy to reach by bike and public transport. If there was anything to complain about, a few hooks for jackets inside would be good. You don't have a sea view from the apartment, but just around the corner and you were there. Conclusion: We were here in the area for the first time. If we want to come back here again, we'd like to stay in this apartment again.

Saskia was a nice host, who also responded quickly. The space looked even better than in the photos! There was even a fan and we didn't have to bring our own towels. We enjoyed our stay.😄

We were very satisfied with everything. Baudewyn was always super accessible and helped us with many recommendations. We were also able to check in earlier, which was really great.☀️ The dog beach, a nature reserve and a great dog forest were in the immediate vicinity. The bus and train connections were also simply tip top. Here you can have a great vacation, especially with a dog. Clear recommendation!
