Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Roche Caiman

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Peponi. It was such a peaceful location but still close to popular Beau Vallon beach. It is on quite a steep hill but we had rented a car so it was no problem to us. Jamie was very responsive and friendly & helpful. It's a self catering apartment but she's always available by text - she even cleaned the room & put new bed linen when we went away to another island. The pool was small but clean & exactly as pictures show. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was absolutely perfect. the apartments are stunning, the view is breathtaking and François and Angie were both very reactive and friendly. François even kindly took me out to try a restaurant (as I was travelling alone and it was my birthday 🎂)! Highly recommend and will come back for sure. Thank you!

Brown Sugar Lodge is a dreamy place. The property is very tasteful and modernly designed. The bed is really comfortable. An air conditioning system and a large ceiling fan ensure a pleasant cooling in the hot temperatures. The absolute highlight of the place is definitely the view from the also very nice terrace. Even though the ascent initially seems arduous, it is 100% worth it and you will be rewarded with a view of the sea in front of Beau Vallon. Communication with Keith and Meggie was super straightforward, friendly and fast. We were also greeted personally and warmly. The property in general is incredibly well maintained and overgrown with many different plants. Overall, it was super clean and in between the linens were changed and cleaned. This was a pleasant and accommodating comfort. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We highly recommend it!

We are totally overjoyed with Nadia’s place We have really enjoyed the neighbourhood. Nadia responses swiftly and gives tips how to organise your trip to the Seychelles 🇸🇨. She organised transfer for us every time we needed it! There is nothing to complain about! Don’t hesitate, just book this place en enjoy the Seychelles as we did! If there is a change to get back here then surely we gonna take this place again!

Fantastic place. The host assisted us with everything. Very clean place, it has all someone needs. When going back to Seychelles I will definitely stay at the same place. Host is not 5 stars, is 100 stars!!!

Ibti was amazingly helpful. We had a few questions and she answered immediately. Dave is a great host that helped us with our questions as well. The place has an amazing view. It doesn’t matter what room you have. The hill to walk up after a night out at either the Beach Shak or Boat House is tough but the sunrises make up for it. Parking is tight but you can manage if you rent a car. The place has everything. Full kitchen, laundry, washroom, and hot water. We fell in love with Seychelles and will be back. When we do, we will book Dave’s place.

We really enjoyed our stay! The views were super, the house was super cozy, there was interesting/important information provided & our hosts were friendly & flexible. However, the location is a little tricky to get to without a car, so we would recommend having a car during your stay ( also super convenient to get around the island) Thank you Lessy & family for everything

My husband stayed for 5 nights here. It was a working trip which requires him to be at Taylor Smith Dockyard, Providence daily so Jeannine’s cottage was the nearest to it, way up on a little hill & very quiet yet reachable in a few minutes. Public transportation is hard to find as inform earlier by the host so lucky to have a car. Would definitely recommend this place if looking for some private away from Thé crowds & sounds. Host is very accommodating in her small gestures of leaving garden fruits in the fridge upon check in! Tells a lot about a person 👍.

AMAZING! Mary is an amazing host! She was super flexible and supported us throughout. She super kindly gave us early check-in and late check-out to accommodate our flight. Her place is super clean, nicely furnished (it feels like home). The location is great in the south of the island, super close to nature and the most beautiful beaches. I would recommend getting a car so you can properly explore the island, it’s a 5min drive to amazing beaches. Mary also supported us to rent the car from the airport. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back!

Thanks to Hazel, our stay in the Seychelles was wonderful. Hazel is very welcoming, kind, and always ready to help! We really liked the accommodation – everything was comfortable, beautifully designed, clean, and had everything we needed. The grill was a great bonus – we used it to cook fresh local fish. Within walking distance from the house, there’s a beach, supermarket, fruit shop, fish shop, restaurant, bank, pharmacy, and several takeaways. A special thank you to Hazel for the lovely surprise at the end of our stay – it was so unexpected and truly appreciated! We sincerely recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the future!

If you are looking for a very, very well cleaned house, in a quiet strategic place to reach both northern and southern beaches ( by car would be much better than by bus), you are in the right place! Everything is new and clean and Rita is the perfect host. She prepared a fresh lemonade at our arrival, and since my girls liked it a lot, she kindly refill several times. Other valuable plus: dinner and transfer at very reasonable price. Rita was leaving next to us, always ready to satisfy our requests, but leaving us all the privacy we needed.

Arno was very responsive in his answers and flexible with check-in and checkout times. We were greeted by Sarah who comes to clean every day. Smiling and welcoming, she is lovely. The house is as described by Arno and the photos match reality. The view is incredible, the pool is a real pleasure to relax in at the end of the day. A vehicle is necessary as there is no restaurant or activity on site, making it a peaceful place, ideal for resting, surrounded by lush vegetation. Our stay in the Seychelles was perfect in every way.

A colonial styled house overlooking the sea with great views. Machabee beach just below had fantastic snorkeling and good fishing in the evening. Easy access to Victoria and Beau Vallon via bus, hire car recommended. Garden has tables, chairs, recliners aswell as a splash pool and BBQ area. Veranda has the dining table and is a enjoyable place to spend an evening meal. Beds were comfortable and the mattresses looked new. Air-conditioning worked well. The kitchen was adequate for most needs. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in comfortable surroundings you can't go wrong. We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks here and felt right at home.

After stays in 2017 and 2018, we were now guests again with Roy and his family. We have already stayed in all 3 apartments and can especially recommend the middle one (= largest with second bedroom, if there should be several people or parents with children) and the top apartment (here we also stayed this year) with great views of the sea. The apartment was super clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The location is central on Mahe, a good starting point in all directions. Rental car is necessary. The driveway is very steep but doable (turning off air conditioning helps uphill). The Google Maps directions are incorrect. When you pass the bus depot, you have to keep straight ahead and do not turn right. Many thanks to Roy and his adorable family for the great time! Absolutely recommended!

Thank you so much 🩵! Marcella is a wonderful host and inspiring person working a lot for church. The Seychelles has been our best vacay with sunbathing, hiking, snorkeling, diving, Easter church services, surrounded by the most beautiful nature! We loved the Seychelles as well as Marcella's place! It is clean, spacious, well-furnished, and the view is absolutely amazing! Marcella was very responsive, and helped us kindly incl. late check-out. We would not recommend coming without a car but also enjoyed walking to the beach and restaurants sometimes. The location is great for a start, maybe staying in the south or one of the other islands is worth a consideration next time. One downside may be the price. Others are temporary construction noise around, missing refills (e.g. toilet paper) or on request (e.g. salt, trash bags), no AC in the living room, in the bedrooms it didn't always cool down, and parking can be tricky. I Highly recommend Maryse’s place. She and Chris have been amazing host to us. The olive tree residence is 8-10 mins from the city, uphill amidst nature where you can hear the sound of breeze blowing , birds chirping, an amazing view of the ocean and fog at times. It’s overall an amazing place to get a detox from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those who prefer using public transportation, the bus stop is just a minute walk. Airport is approx 15 mins drive by car from the location. There are amazing restaurants at Eden island which is a 10 min drive from the residence. Maryse and Chris are warm and welcoming and have been always responsive to our questions and also guided us with local recommendations. The house was well equipped, spacious and spotless. The garden area is full of flower and fruit plantations. We wish we stayed there longer. Without a second thought, we would book this place when we visit Seychelles again.

A true gem. We had peace and relaxation and everything you need for the time there. Benjamin was on site and gave us good tips and always asked if everything was okay. The location was great for us because we had a rental car for the time and wanted to explore the south and west of the island. Everything is easily accessible from there. You get something from "real life" here and in Anse Royale, which we liked, especially compared to Beau Vallon. You can walk to the bus for a few minutes (through the heat), which also takes you everywhere. Since the house is located on a small mountain, it is a little more difficult without a car. We would definitely visit again!!

Beau Bassin was a very neat and clean space. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and kind helpful neighbors. It was a very good place to stay with a kind and flexible host.

Good accommodation, very clean and spacious apartment. Everything worked well and Roy was a very responsive and helpful host. His wife surprised us with a plate of fresh fruit and some birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this Airbnb.

Shirley and Gilbert were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. Gilbert even kindly offered me a ride on my last day, as I didn’t have my own transport. The accommodation is spacious, well-equipped, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay. There’s air conditioning in the bedroom, and a fan in the living room—which makes the living area a bit warmer than the rest of the house. I also appreciated the convenient drinking water dispenser. The location is great, especially for travelers without a car. Baie Lazare is just a 21-minute walk, Petit Anse about 40 minutes, and there are mini markets, a pharmacy, takeaways, and a small fruit market all within a 10-minute walk. Plus, there’s a bus stop right in front of the property. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe both at the accommodation and in the surrounding area. Thank you so much for everything!

The stay in Roy's apartment was great, Roy and his family were super friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. The apartment was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. Nearby, there's also a very nice beach where you can be almost alone. There's a supermarket nearby and in the apartment, everything is described about what you can do and where to get things. The pool is also very good, even with a glass roof. An all-around recommended apartment.
