Great flat to explore Cortona! Excellent location and had everything you need

This place is amazing! It was a competely unique experience staying in Anna's place. The private garden up the hill afforded gorgeous views of the historic tower and town that turned magical at night when everything was lit up. When we explored the town at night, we felt like we had gone back in time. There were motion sensor lights on the stairs to and from the garden so that we could easily and safely see our way. We had the historic part of the nicely lit up town at night to ourselves, adding to the atmosphere. Civitella D'agliano was our favourite of the many towns that we explored in the area. It is a genuine and evocative beauty, not marred by masses of tourists or souvenir shops. Anna and her English speaking friend, met our car to show us where to park, and showed us everything in the apartment and garden in detail. Anna gave us many delicious snacks and an apple cake. She also arranged a reservation at a local restaurant that was memorable. Stay here. You will never forget it!

Beautifully finished holiday home in a lovely peaceful setting with great views. Well set up for small children, with toys and play area in the communal spots and a toy box in the apartment on request. Martina was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

absolutely one of the best AirBNB experiences we have ever had! There is no better location if you are visiting Siena, especially if you would rather take the escalator up the mountain. The entrance is right across the street. Our host had thought of everything. From washing detergent to a bottle of wine. Take not though, in Siena it is sometimes difficult to get a taxi early in the morning unless you book it well in advance. Our host went out of his way to make sure we arrived at the train station on time! But just remember, book your departure taxi early! And oh yeah, the secret garden was awesome. A great place to kick back and enjoy the mountain air with a cool beverage;) 5 star plus plus!!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Jenny’s Barn as part of our honeymoon! Jenny was so helpful, and had great recommendations. The place was so quiet, peaceful, and private. We enjoyed having dinner and breakfast every day on the patio. Everything was so well stocked and thoughtful! We definitely recommend!

We had a truly amazing stay at Andrea’s home. We were welcomed by his parents with a home made cake, jam and wine from a local winery. When planning the trip with our parents and 12 month old, we wanted somewhere we could enjoy amenities of the home, but also be close enough to day trip to different locations in Tuscany. This was the perfect spot! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as day trips to Florence, Grosseto and Siena. Andrea provided amazing recommendations on local places to visit, as well as advising that taking the bus to Florence from Paganico. We couldn’t have asked for a better location and host for our extended family trip to Tuscany!

We loved staying in Montalcino at Lisa's place. Lisa was a fantastic host and responded quickly. She gave us her picks for restaurants, wine tastings, etc, which were excellent choices. The Airbnb was ideally situated right off the main square. It has a yard, which we enjoyed, and a very functional kitchen with everything we needed. The king-size bed was very comfortable and had high-quality linens. This is a hilltop city, so keep this in mind for anyone unable to walk up steeper inclines throughout the city. We enjoyed the exercise and the stunning views. We stayed for a week and I could have easily stayed longer as we got to know the restaurants, stores and the area. Montalcino is a charming place to spend your time. It was a good location from which to take day trips. There is so much to do in the general area. We highly recommend you stay here; it was the highlight of our trip, and we felt like we were in good hands. Thank you, Lisa!

We loved our stay. The host was amazing, and the house had everything we needed. The internet was very fast and supported my work requirements back in the USA. We had a very nice and relaxed time at Olga's place. The small cottage is furnished with a lot of love for detail and it lacks nothing. The terrace and pool are located in a very nice well-kept garden. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and Olga was always easily accessible. She welcomed us with food for the first time. In particular, we enjoyed the delicious homemade cake anyway, the olive oil from our own harvest and the fresh herbs from the garden. All in all, we had a very nice and quiet time, even if the weather sometimes didn't quite play along as we imagined. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break in the great outdoors, Olga is the place for you.

We had an amazing time at Alberto & Laura's. The place was quiet, spacious, exactly like in the pictures. On arrival we were welcomed by our hosts and got some great recommendations on what to do in the area. They even shared some homemade food with us, which was so good and thoughtful. Also, the swimming pool and outside space we could use was amazing and private. Would definitely go back again, 10/10!

I’ve been to many places but this is the first time I can say I was truly in love with a home. The pictures you see in the description are just a fraction of the beauty. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, the property is stunning, and it puts you in the heart of Tuscany. We will be back time and time again.

We had an amazing week long stay!! Sabrina is a fantastic host! The apartment was SO clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was very yummy and fresh! We did the dinner one night and it was so amazing! Location is great too. Easy drive to many close by towns, grocery stores, and restaurants. The property is beautiful with lots of flowers. A little too cold for the pool during our stay but our kids loved the swing set and teeter totter. Absolutely recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Chestnut Dryer of the Podere di Maggio. What can I say? A real paradise: nestled in a wonderful valley with Mount Amiata in front of it and the beautiful medieval village of Santa Fiora. We could not ask for more: wonderful structure, well cared for, in detail, priceless peace. The hosts were great, hospitable, and really made us feel at home. In short, everything is perfect, nothing is missing, of course you have to love bucolic life like us ! The only downside? Two nights were too short and we'll definitely be back . We loved our stay here! The house is charming and so unique. We especially loved the beautiful views from our patio and the restaurants nearby. Caleb was a great host and was very responsive. The cats in the area were definitely a huge bonus. We can’t wait to be back!
