Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Riverside County

I booked La Petite Retreat for a mellow girls trip in Joshua Tree. The home was absolutely gorgeous and very clean! It had everything we could need amenities wise. The beds and linens were very cozy. We spent most of our time in the backyard, enjoying the sparkling clean pool, barbecuing, sunbathing in the desert sun and stargazing at night. The space is very private and never saw any neighbors the whole time. The main area of town where there is food, grocery stores, a farmers market, vintage stores, etc. are all about 10-15 min away. The host gives great recommendations and is very communicative. You can tell they take a lot of pride and care into this home. I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10.

This is our second time at Highrock House. Absolutely love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. Every amenity is available at the home - no need to leave unless you want to! This is our favorite place to stay in Idyllwild! We will definitely be back.

The house was perfect for our large family and had everything we needed. The pool was great! Will definitely look at getting this same house for future visits to Riverside.

This ABB was exactly what we needed and a few bonuses including a hair dryer, curling iron, snacks, a bottle of wine, coffee and more! The host was responsive when I had questions before our stay. Would definitely reccommend this place while in the Temecula area.

From the moment we first walked in, we were immediately struck by how beautiful and inviting the place was. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, just like the photos had promised. The decor was thoughtfully done, creating a comfortable yet elegant vibe that made us feel right at home. But the real showstopper? The views. Absolutely breathtaking! Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery is nothing short of amazing. The hosts were truly outstanding—some of the best we’ve ever encountered when it comes to communication. They were responsive, helpful, and easy to reach throughout our stay. However, there are a few things that could use some attention. The bathroom handles near the bedrooms were broken, which was a bit inconvenient—though we managed. Beautifully decorated condo in a well maintained complex. The host was very easy to communicate with. The condo is located within easy walking distance to the main pool etc as well as another smaller pool. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Karen is a great host and the listing was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog and found it to be so peaceful! The outdoor amenities were great for hanging out and the Airbnb itself was more than enough space! We were very comfortable here and would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Good location, clean and functional. I do think the room could be a bit more charming. The decor is quite sterile and it reads more like a hotel room with a kitchenette than an Airbnb which are usually homey. That being said, it was a bargain price and did match the pictures.

Great cute space. Host was friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the toilet clogging. We informed the host and he sent someone right away and they came within 40 minutes, even though it was a Sunday. Would definitely stay here again

SAFE, CLEAN, Quiet & SLEEPS GREAT. As a solo female traveler, safety is my first concern. I was between work conferences, and Nathalie's casita was the perfect affordable place to stay near Palm Springs. It is SO CLEAN and well stocked. The linens and bedding are high quality, and the bed is fantastic. The extra touches made me feel like I was staying with friends (without the obligation of speaking to anyone!) I did not use the pool but enjoyed reading a book poolside. I walked in the neighborhood for exercise and to the local Juice Bar and grocery store. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance, and I always felt safe. It's a short Uber to downtown Palm Springs and the Tram (buy tickets in advance; it fills up!) My favorite things were the oversized tile shower with rainfall shower, the comfy bed, linens, and towels. Equal or better than Marriott. The entry and exit instructions and Nathalie's good communication are excellent. This is a place to return to again.

Kerry Ellen’s place is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE 😍 We enjoyed how much attention to detail the studio displayed! Important information/ items were labeled and perfectly placed! The oversized tub was EXCEPTIONALLY ENJOYABLE😍 (side note: I wanted to use one of the complimentary bath bombs that were wrapped in plastic, I said to myself “Dang it, I have to go back inside to get something to take the wrapping off”…but to my surprise Kerry Ellen even had a little plastic tool located underneath the bath bombs that was/is to be used to remove the wrapping!) SUPER THOUGHTFUL😍 …QUITE, CLEAN AND PEACEFUL-AWESOME 10/10 EXPERIENCE 😍

This place was a cozy home base for our family of 3 as we explored and painted the town. My husband was part of a week long plein air painting event. We really appreciated being able to walk downtown and to the beach and catching the free trolley when we were tired of walking and didn’t want to deal with parking. We felt very well taken care of with plentiful supplies and snacks!

Cory's place is wonderful. The place was pristine. Loved the bed, I slept like a baby. He is an excellent host. Will definitely come back.

Its definitely a kid resort so if your looking for an adult vibe this isnt it. Room was clean, they checked us in early with no extra charges.

Very pleased with our stay here! This rental was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway to the desert! The outdoor space is quiet and super-private. We never saw or heard any neighbors, but watched hummingbirds spar overhead as we lounged by the pool. The pool is clean and perfect for floating all afternoon, looking out at the mountains. The spa is a great way to relax under the stars after dinner. The location was great. Close enough to downtown to be a quick drive when hot, or a reasonable stroll when it's cooler. And I appreciated being able to talk an early morning jog around the area. We didn't spend much time indoors, but it's a light, airy, and comfortable space. The kitchen is up-to-date and well-appointed. Communication with the hosts and their assistant was friendly, transparent, and proactive. Very nice people! We will gladly rent this place again when we return to PS for a desert getaway! Highly recommended!

This was the perfect place for my partner and I to spend our anniversary weekend. There were so many wonderful restaurants downtown to choose from, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, where we stayed, and Jerry and Craig were incredibly responsive and respectful. One thing I would point out is, if you are not a gay man, or a woman celebrating her bachelorette party, the party scene is pretty underwhelming . Aside from that, I’d definitely stay in this exact spot again.

We loved staying in this fabulous condo at the iconic Ocotillo Lodge, designed by famed midcentury modern architect William Krisel. Although the once spectacular public rooms at the Lodge are now shuttered, the grounds have been beautifully restored with cactus and succulents, and the large landmark champagne-cork shaped pool is beautifully maintained, serenaded (quietly) through the day with delightful recordings of classic Great American Songbook music of the 50's. The Brite Spot condo itself has been wonderfully decorated with handsome vintage furniture and lighting, a very comfortable bed, and beautiful terrazzo tile floors, and boasts a lovely little courtyard with a great old olive tree that throughout the day hosts various singing desert birds. The Lodge no longer has a working bar or restaurant, but coffee, cocktails, great food, and the sights and attractions of Palm Springs - including Krisel's justly famed Twin Palms community - are all just minutes away.

The place was easy to find and getting inside the condo was a breeze. Billy and Shea's communication/instructions were great. Had an enjoyable time with my family. Would definitely recommend! 😀

We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more in this beautiful, peaceful accommodation in Palm Springs. Billy and his team were extremely responsive and helpful. The home was spotless and spacious while still being warm and cozy. Highly recommend!

The place is so peaceful and steps away from the beach. As other reviewers have mentioned, can hear the sound of the waves from the space. Sheryl is awesome and responsive. The apartment itself is so clean and well-equipped.
