Amazing spacious house with comfortable beds and sofas. Lots to do around the house and a lovely host that made for a very smooth trip. Was the perfect weekend away

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Monkey. Beautiful accommodation- luxuriously spacious bedrooms and bathrooms in particular, and a great location a stone’s throw from the beach and lovely places to eat. We will be back! Thanks to Annabel as well who was very responsive and kind.

We had a wonderful stay here in Shaldon. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was a great location within walking distance of the village, beach and ferry to Teignmouth. The village itself is beautiful and we loved discovering Ness Cove beach and crabbing in Teignmouth. The beds were super comfy and Carlisle was really understanding and flexible with dates following my daughter's hospital stay which caused a lot of stress before we came. We will definitely recommend and visit again as a great base for a lovely break in the area.

An absolutely stunning property. Julie-Ann and Rich were incredibly welcoming hosts and there were lots of lovely little touches such as the breakfast goodies. The kitchen was superbly equipped and the whole property was very spacious. The linens and towels were really high quality and the beds were super comfortable. The views are incredible and it’s all very peaceful and relaxing. Being there at Christmas was very special with beautiful decorations and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly responsive and caring hosts; a very lovely stay in a very lovely home.

Lovely home, the house was large, clean all amenities were superb especially the cooker so easy to use. The beds were so comfortable tbh I couldn’t fault anything. Kieran the host was very helpful and communicated really well, the view through the back garden up the steps was amazing the sea and surrounding areas were fantastic to view. We had a great weekend stay, I advise anyone to try this jewel in the crown of an air’bnb’ you will not be disappointed !! 5 stars all day long . Pete G

Great location for accessing the south west coast path & as a base for exploring south Devon . Well equipped & comfortable home which was very quiet & peaceful - we would definitely stay here again !

Very spacious and comfortable home as described in listing. Suited us traveling with my parents, husband, 2 small children and baby. Easy to find and easily parked 2 large cars on the driveway. Although fairly busy around you couldn’t hear noise once inside. The house was warm when we got there, there are thick walls which I’m sure keeps it cosy in the winter (along with a log burner). I messaged Ella and she replied quickly explaining how to turn the heating off and we opened the windows to cool it down. Everything you could need for a holiday in terms of kitchen equipment was available. Good size bathrooms mix one with a bath and the other with a shower. We didn’t have any pets with us but there was a tray with dog treats, a ball and a few other bits which I thought was nice. There was also a separate games room/ bar which we didn’t use but would be good if traveling with older children. We only stayed a couple of nights but could easily stay for a longer period.

I am a huge fan of House of Hackney, so a stay at the Castle of Trematon has been on my wishlist for years. As soon as we arrived at the Castle Lodge, it felt as if we had left the outside world behind and stepped through a magic mirror into a wonderland where time stands still. The gardens are a feast for the senses with endless paths of wild garlic and bluebells. I saw buzzards flying overhead and bats vibing in the Tower on the first afternoon! If you love exquisite interior design and being immersed in nature, then you will truly love it here. Thank you Javvy and Frie for being the perfect hosts. I never wanted to leave and have to return one day just to ensure it wasn’t all a dream!

We all liked so much and enjoyed surrounding beaches with my family and kid along with country side views. Communication was seamless! Juliet was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. I was taken aback by the breathtaking views from the rooms .Our host was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival. We had 4 fantastic days staying at Kaz’s perfectly situated place in the beautiful Noss Mayo. There was something for the whole family from grandparents to small kids. Kaz was so helpful and went out of her way to make it special with helpful advise, flexibility and not to mention the yummy doughnuts on arrival, which were a lovely treat.

A beautiful cottage - the photos don’t do the lovely main room justice - it’s also a gorgeous area and perfect location (at high tide!) for paddle boarding so definitely bring one. The house itself must have been recently renovated because everything is very well done and high spec - we got the cottage as we needed to work from home all week, and were a tad worried about the Wi-Fi, but actually it’s far better than what we normally have! Clean, well arranged, etc etc. We can’t get over our trip and I can’t wait to book this place again soon!!

Had a great stay, going to the pirate festival. Some issues came up but thanks to Zuzana's good and swift communication they got sorted quickly. Look forward to next year!

Thanks for our stay in the Boathouse. The location is without comparison for the views and being next to the water. The Boathouse is well placed for some great walking as well. We found the boathouse to be very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only small problem was the wifi which was intermittent with a slow speed. Giles and Shannon gave us a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived, thank you.
