Apartment holiday rentals in River Dart

This studio apartment is just as charming in person as it is in the pictures. Polly the owner is super responsive and supporting and everything is spotlessly clean and in good condition. Located right in the heart of Ashburton and walkable to antique shops, a local arts center with a good performance calendar, wonderful gourmet shops and restaurants with local foods, and only about an hour’s walk to hiking on the Dartmoor. I’d absolutely stay there again!!

Lovely week in staying here, Josh was so helpful and communicated with us whilst we were at the property, only issue we had was that the parking at the property is quite tight for a car bigger than a hatchback as my partner struggled getting in and out of the space.

We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation was immaculate and the bed was sooo comfy! Ideal having a toilet separate to the bathroom too. We used the accommodation as a base to visit family who live locally and would 100% stay again.

A lovely little flat, had everything we needed. It is a super easy walk into town to get to the shops. The flat was clean with a comfy king bed. The host was lovely and friendly, really responsive and made sure that our stay went really smoothly. It was really handy to have parking avaliable too.

The garden studio was perfect for a quiet long weekend exploring Devon, and Patricia’s walled garden was a delight to wake up to and come home to everyday. She kindly provided milk, bread, fruit and yoghurt, and gave great recommendations for places to eat and drink. We felt truly looked after and will be sure to return in the future 🌺

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. It was spotless, had everything that was needed, convenient to where we were going for a 50th wedding anniversary. The decor, linen etc was also lovely and if we had to come to NewtonnAbbot again we would certainly stay there if possible. Thanks for everything Vic and Jean

A great studio apartment, within easy walking distance to the centre of Paignton. Has the huge advantage of having parking on site which can be used before check-in. The apartment had everything we could of needed, was immaculately presented and a lovely cosy place to stay. The hosts were great too, really quick and helpful when responding to questions. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Lovely apartment, beautiful view and excellent hosting from Di. Enjoyed the decor and we were so comfortable. We were able to park and leave the car for the duration of our 4 nights. We walked and caught ferries. Highly recommend.

What an amazing stay, Dominic was really helpful and patient with all my pre arrival questions and during our stay. Response time was really good. Dominics place was really clean and clear of clutter exactly what we needed for our trip. We spent the weekend kayaking, visiting lots of beaches and the Paignton airshow. so central for attractions. Needed a large space to come back to at the end of the day and unload beach gear before setting off again, the living area was perfect. Really recommend Dominics place

Lovely little base for trips to the beach and local walks. The airbnb was spotless and very comfortable - a great use of space, with all essentials provided! We particularly appreciated the little box of cookies and tea/coffee on arrival which was a lovely touch. It's a very convenient location, and it was incredibly helpful to have parking since the seafront isn't the easiest place to find a space! Josh (the host) was really friendly and welcoming, and very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended!

Tanglewood is a magical place, especially for lovers of walking, wildlife and stunning views along the river Dart. Annie and Rob were friendly, hospitable and helpful. Everything had been considered for comfort and convenience and we would recommend a stay at this wonderful oasis they have created, to all our family and friends.

What a truly beautiful gem... This gorgeous place is simply perfection. My little family and I stayed here enroute to St Ives. We holiday a lot in West Cornwall, but have never explored South Devon. We'll be hurrying back. Our two night stay was so peaceful, opening our curtains each morning to the lush rolling green farm land. The little cottage pristine and beautifully furnished. A fantastic short stay at a lovely apartment, with a beautiful view to wake up to or enjoy a sundowner with before heading out to dinner. We really enjoyed our stay and took advantage of some of Freya’s recommendations re food and shopping. Freya answers our quirked quickly and was always lovely to communicate with. Tiffany's airbnb is absolutely stunning. Being right on the water was a dream, we loved listening to the waves, no need for the TV or music. Although we were in a block of flats we felt like no one else was around. The history of the building was fascinating. There were lovely coastal walks and a beautiful village nearby to get food and drinks. Tiffany's recommendations were excellent. Thankyou for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

Heron’s Reach is an absolute gem! So comfortable and relaxing that our 2 nights away felt like a week! Would definitely recommend - ideal for taking it easy in Budleigh Salterton or exploring further afield.

Great stay at the recording studios, the place was clean and in stunning surrounds, with amazing views! Hot tub was great, kitchen was great for a week of family meals. Not far to walk into Salcombe town centre where there are some lovely pubs and restaurants! All round a great stay thank you!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Katy and Dale's place. It was easy to find, with clear instructions and plenty of free parking nearby. It was well located to the babbacombe downs, local restaurants and pubs. The walk to torquay is quite nice too and not too far. The hot tub was lovely and hot for when we arrived, and the robes were a nice touch. The annex is on the smaller side but well designed so didn't feel cramped. Everything was clean and tidy. There was some nice additions - a few games, loads of dvds, tea, milk, and a couple of snacks. We didn't have any problems with the stay but all interactions with Katy and Dale were polite, timely and clear. Thanks for being excellent hosts.

Sara’s place is the perfect place to escape with the kids. Sara was super responsive. Easy check in and gaining access to the caravan. The welcoming hamper and card was lovely and gave it a personal touch. The caravan was pristine. We would recommend staying here to everyone, we will definitely be back.

Really lovely place to stay, would definitely stay here again! Only thing to be aware of is the hot tub takes a very long time to heat up (4+ hours) so just be mindful of that if you want to use it. Pool and sauna were lovely and had them to ourselves the time we used it which was great. Overall a very clean and tidy place would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

Home hasn’t felt like home since returning from our stay in Bovey Tracy. Everything from our host and his amazing interior design to the idyllic surroundings and perfect hot tub with just the right amount of sunlight. The kitchen with perfect for a little stay, excellent shower and the bed was so comfy we’ve come home and ordered the exact same set up (which Paul was incredibly helpful and looked up for us when we asked). Cannot wait to return!!
