I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

ここは京都のお隣にある大津市石山です。琵琶湖の一番南側に位置していて、川も流れ、豊かな自然がある素敵な街です。JR京都駅に3駅の13分、大阪駅に50分で到着します。ここ石山駅周辺は自然に恵まれていて、更に石山寺を代表とする歴史的な建物もあり、日本人の観光客も沢山訪れていますよ。さらに飲食店も豊富に立ち並んでいて、滞在中食事場所に悩んだら、私に相談してくださいね。私は日本でも三大和牛に選ばれている近江牛のお店がお気に入りなんです。 日本一大きな湖の琵琶湖に接する瀬田川は緑が多く、流れも緩やかで、川沿いや琵琶湖のほとりをゆっくり散歩すると心が安らぐのを感じられるでしょう。さらに瀬田川にかかる唐橋は歴史的にも古くから交通の要として栄えました。 また人気の観光地MIHO MUSEUMへも石山駅からバスで向かう事が出来てとても高アクセスですよ。 彦根城へも石山駅から電車で向かえます。 お部屋は多数の照明が心地良い雰囲気を演出し、240センチ幅の大きなベッドでゆっくり旅の疲れを癒せます。私はこのお部屋の夜の雰囲気が好きで、みなさんにも是非体感して頂きたいです。瀬田ゴルフ場も車で8分です。

四季折々の田園風景と鳥のさえずりや虫の声をBGMに、滋賀県南部の中山間地に田園が広がる小さな山里です。夜は、外灯以外真っ暗で星空がきれいで静かです。素泊まりで外食されるもよし、家族や友達とキッチンで自炊されるもよし、お気軽にお泊りいただけます。農家自慢のお米とおにぎりの具材を用意しておりますので、土鍋か炊飯器で炊いてお召しあがりください。炊飯されない時は、お持ち帰りいただくことができます。就寝は、マットレスの上に敷布団（ロングサイズ）とシーツをしいて、羽毛ふとんをかけておやすみいただきます。（ベッドは、ありません）夏にはタオルケットを冬には毛布や電気あんかの用意があります。アクセスは、国道３０７号線杉山交差点から県道５号木津方向に入り１㎞約２分です。新名神信楽ICから１１㎞、名阪国道壬生野ICから２１㎞、京滋バイパス笠取ICから３６㎞、市バスは朝宮線で杉山バス停で下車後徒歩約２分です。なお、最寄り駅の信楽高原鉄道信楽駅までの送迎をしますので予約時にお知らせください。チェックインとチェックアウトは母屋の玄関でルームキーの受け渡しをお願いします。のんびり田舎においでくださいませ。

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya]. It is designed with a lot of hand-dyed Japanese style Tang paper, wallpapers made of tin and gold foils, and other traditional Japanese crafts and elements. We also retain the original properties of the machiya. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also you can feel the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.
