Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Rio Hato

Even though our stay was short, it was wonderful. Alfredo is very attentive and gave us good recommendations, the room is very nice, they make you want to stay longer, and they have a very nice garden. I would highly recommend it for long-term stays. Breakfast was also very complete. We hope to return soon and often 😁

Alfredo and his dad are incredible hosts, we were able to access the room early and they were there to greet us and welcome us, we talked several times during the stay and their company was super nice. The Di Petra house is huge, with abundant vegetation and areas for walking, taking in fresh air and contemplating the many birds that come to the property. The location is very central and the breakfast they offered us was delicious. An excellent place to come with your pets and disconnect from the city's routine.

We were welcomed warmly by Carolina and her family and felt at home. Thank you! The hostel has nice front and back yards. The room is basic, but very clean and functional. Although the neighborhood can be sometimes noisy due to some youth action, it was quiet most of the time. We were happy to be so close to the beach, literally just a few steps away. Farallon beach is very long and walkable, with a few restaurants and one resort. We walked everywhere, on the beach and on the village roads. Thank you again Alessandra and Carolina and family.

What a lovely place! It can sometimes be hard to find a good Airbnb in panama but this one was a gem. The place is huge and very well kept, and the beach is beautiful and not too crowded. Nice weekend escape from the city.

To say that we were overjoyed to be at Casa Guardia is an understatement. We moved to Casa Guardia after booking a disappointing location down the road. When we arrived at Casa Guardia we were greeted by Tony, he gave us the tour and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The Guardia family and staff made us feel welcomed and the place itself is a beautiful tucked away paradise. The private pool and mellow beach front were heavenly. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place, quiet private. We liked the restaurant very good menu and rich food. We enjoyed as a family, we'll be back. Anthony is attended and was always attentive to any requests.

I loved staying at Vincent and Pascale's home! Walking right out of their place and onto the beach every morning to walk and watch the sunrise was divine! Then to return to a delicious breakfast was icing on the cake!! Pascale is a superb massage therapist and really, really helped my aching back, I am sooooo grateful! I will return for sure!

Great location and wonderful host

We wished we booked for longer. The suite had super comfortable beds and linens (the best of our time in Panama). The pool and beach in front of Casa Guardia are great, hammocks too. Breakfast was nice. Next time, we’d look to book direct with Tony.

My stay at the hostel was very good, we went out at night to a wedding on white beach and the host was very kind to wait for us at night to open the entrance gate to us. Highly recommended because it has an ocean view and super close to the beach.

Full recommended, it is located in the very center of San Carlos near everything. Walking 5 minutes from Playa La Ensenada.

Host: Talya was an excellent host who was very friendly, caring, and thoughtful. I welcomed us with some fruit, that was something really nice of you. He was looking forward to our arrival and explained everything very well (such as getting there, what to do, etc.). Upon arrival, she personally greeted us and give us the key. Reservation: There were some confusion regarding breakfast and specifically that the room was touching us (many photos show us in the listing), but everything was resolved satisfactorily. Accommodation: The place is beautiful, just like it looks in the pictures. Inside the property there is a small waterfall, as it was summer it was a bit dry. The pool has a spectacular view towards the mountains. The villa where we stayed had a small kitchen equipped with the basics so you can cook. The pots and other kitchen utensils were filled with powders, but there was an area to scrub everything. Inside was 1 mini refrigerator and jug water. Amenities: We received delicious breakfast.
