Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Serena. Der riesige Garten rund um die Villa, die Aussicht, es war noch schöner, als wir es auf den Fotos erahnt hatten. Wir hatten ein Appartment mit Gartenzugang im Anbau und das ist perfekt für Familien - unser Kind (und die Kinder der Nachbarn) könnten über die Wiese rennen und wir entspannt auf der Terrasse sitzen. Und der Pool ist natürlich auch ein Highlight für die Kids. Der Dorfkern von Guardistallo ist bezaubernd, ein paar tolle Restaurants, Bars und eben so, wie man sich ein kleines, historisches Dorf in der Toskana vorstellt - und mit wenigen Schritten von der Unterkunft zu erreichen. Will man die Gegend erkunden braucht man am besten ein Auto - dann kann man in viele weitere schöne Dörfer und zum Meer fahren. Und zu guter letzt ist Serena eine tolle, zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, die jederzeit erreichbar ist. Vielleicht reihen wir uns ein in die Riege der Stammmgäste.

Wat een rust en wat een uitzicht. Mooi landgoed en supervriendelijk mensen die het je naar de zin proberen te maken. Ook een mooi en fijn zwembad voor als het erg warm is.

Nestled in the mountainside is the Tuscan stay of your dreams. In a villa designed by a renowned architect, you are surrounded by not only incredible views of mountains, valleys and the sea, but also have stunning accommodations. Every detail has been thought of in this home from comfortable living spaces, to luxe fireplaces and high quality beds. We highly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous villa. One of the best parts of the time we spent here, though, was our wonderful host, Letitzia. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic when one of our guests was ill, bringing meals to her while the other guests were out. Additionally, we can't recommend enough joining the dinner sessions they offer for guests throughout the week. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what you would want from a home cooked meal in Tuscany.

We spent 5 days at the place of Pier and Marcella. Everything was perfect. Marcella and Pier are great hosts, their place is just cool. Beautiful landscape, location is perfect, calm and quiet, perfect place to for relaxing. Sea and the beaches are close as well as the beautiful cities of Toscana.

Alloggiare in questo appartamento è stato meraviglioso. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo passato due notti immersi nella campagna toscana in un piccolo appartamento accogliente, pulitissimo e fornito di tutto il necessario. Il giardino è bellissimo, ricco di alberi da frutto e gatti dolcissimi che arricchiscono il soggiorno. Torneremo presto a trovare Sheila nella sua carinissima casa in campagna.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Hügel der Toskana, das Meer und die Inseln ist unbezahlbar! Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist es, wenn Roccos Taubenschwarm seine Kreise dicht übers Häuschen zieht. Nachts sieht man auf der Wiese hinterm Haus Glühwürmchen - magisch! Wir haben auch die Gelegenheit genossen, an einem Dinner auf der Toscani Ranch teilzunehmen. Es war eine sehr herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre! Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Casale Marittimo ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und zu Recht als eins der schönsten Dörfer Italiens ausgezeichnet. Wir haben außerdem Ausflüge nach San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florenz und bis hinunter zu den Thermen von Saturnia und dem Giardino dei Tarocchi gemacht. Das Meer ist nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Der Pinienwald am Strand von Cecina ist sehenswert, genau wie der Torre de Bibbone. Grundausstattung für die Küche muss man mitbringen, wir empfehlen das leckere Olivenöl von Rocco zu beziehen! Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und wir sind wieder begeistert. Wir lieben das Haus und die Umgebung ist für uns perfekt. Gerne wieder :-)
