House holiday rentals in Rieux-Minervois

We came as a group of 7 for an EVJF and we had a wonderful stay in the house (sufficient and properly equipped spaces). The exterior is as pleasant as the interior. The house is impeccable and the services offered correspond to reality. Thank you again for this warm welcome! We recommend this property.

We had a great time at Paul's house. The view is magnificent, the pool is also. The living and dining area is open and bright and very suitable for groups. Also the division of the bedrooms. You have the option to withdraw if you wish. Paul was always available and gave us helpful tips. His father was also very friendly. Both speak good English. We will be happy to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful 10 day relaxing break in The Lodge. The owner Susanna was an amazing attentive host! She was extremely helpful with wonderful local recommendations etc, and was always on hand if we needed her. She helped us plan our stay. We are only learning the French language, so we sincerely appreciated her help. The Lodge is well set back off the main road, so there is no noise from traffic. It is a very peaceful location but only a couple of minutes drive to the nearest village and some good restaurants. The Lodge is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We couldn't fault a thing with the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

A welcoming host and great accommodation! You won't have time to get bored between the various activities available in the accommodation itself, the river right next to the house and Carcassonne 20 minutes' drive away. The calm of the village allows a total escape, thus enjoying the summer sun in this beautiful garden! Thanks!

From the moment I booked Celine was so helpful with messaging before arrival. When we did arrive her wonderful warm welcome was so lovely to experience after a long journey. She was so kind and made sure that we knew if we needed anything she would be there, and she was. So helpful, so kind. The venue was so peaceful and the views so stunning. LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.

I had a great time at your place. Very responsive host. For your information, the bells didn't bother me at all, I slept very well. It is a quiet place in the heart of the village I would recommned this property

We loved the apartment. It was impeccable and very new. We have been very relaxed and close to everything. The private terrace is wonderful. Gildas has been very kind and communication has been very simple.

We had a great time at Lucile's home. Communication was excellent. She had warned us that the rooms were not very large, there were 8 of us (3 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children) and indeed the kitchen was small but that didn't stop us from having a great stay! The bedding is very comfortable, the house (being renovated) is very nice, the plot is nice... an address to keep!

We were a party of three who recently had a most enjoyable holiday in Karlolina's house. The house has been beautifully renovated and has a lovely garden. The village is charming- it was very quiet in early May but I'm sure it is much busier in the height of summer. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, including Carcassonne (very busy) and a handful of the many Cathar castles in the region. Our tour and tasting at the local vinegar producer was very interesting.

Very good stay, very beautiful region that we were able to discover thanks to a very provided welcome booklet written and made available by the owners. Pleasant, clean, and photo compliant. A little extra: all the villagers we met were very welcoming. One more reason to want to return to Escales

Very nice discovery of the village, close to the beaches and the Corbières road. We recommend it.

The reviews on Adrien and Emma's cottage are unanimous and praise the quality of the home, its amenities and its environment. A 5 out of 5 as the area is beautiful and the region (Minervois around Carcassonne) is attractive due to the diversity of activities. Kilometers by car on deserted and shaded roads, pure happiness! But also walks and swims nearby (from the exit of the cottage for the first) and a few kilometers for the second (in Pradelles-Cabardès). A pure pleasure. Tenants should know that Adrien and Emma's large farm (sheepfold?) houses two gites, one (which we occupied) and the other for 6 people, who share common areas, a nice garden and a beautiful terrace (each benefiting however from a private part with outdoor table and chairs). This is to say that at times, you may not be alone. We lived with a Spanish family in a friendly atmosphere.

Perfect moment; Laetitia is available and very welcoming; the accommodation is nice and very quiet. In short, a beautiful place to settle in and visit the surroundings. The city is 8 minutes away.

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful week here. The house was really clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The terrace in particular was a lovely space to read a book and enjoy our morning coffee. And those views! We definitely recommend a meal or two at La Petite Artois, the food is great and they are very friendly. The location is good for visiting several Cathar castles nearby and the countryside is breathtaking and at this time of year with wildflowers everywhere. Anna was very helpful and easy to contact. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. It was a really lovely holiday.

Amazing guesthouse and exceptional hospitality - We (2 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful stay at Aurélie and Sébastien's guesthouse. From the moment we arrived we felt incredibly welcomed and at home. They were always friendly, helpful and full of great recommandations for things to see and do around the area. The guesthouse itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, very clean and offers a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. Our kids loved the pool and the garden with the animals. We even brought our bikes and used them around the area. We can highly recommand this place, whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the region. This guesthouse in Villerouge de Crémade is a perfect choice!

We had a lovely stay at Christophe and Nathalie's place. This cottage is very well equipped, with a very pleasant garden for young and old. Located halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, undoubtedly to be booked.
