Holiday rentals with breakfast in Riccò del Golfo di Spezia

My family and I (5 adults and 1 teenager) had the most wonderful stay at Maria Teresa’s place. Her home is very beautiful and welcoming, there was more than enough space for the family to feel comfortable. This area of Emilia-Romagna is very unique and incredibly peaceful. We felt a strong connection to nature, to the agricultural traditions, and to the history of the region. There were so many surprises to learn about and discover in our short stay! Maria Teresa is truly a “super host”. With an abundance of grace and hospitality, she made our visit an unforgettable experience. Maria answered all of our questions (from restaurants to history) with enthusiasm and patience. Our family felt very cared for during our stay. We were sad to leave! For anyone planning a visit; our family rented cars from the airport in Bologna which was a piece of “torta”. Monte Fuso is great for hiking. Visit the caseificio. We were sorry to miss the pool. Our stay was a hidden gem.

Our host was really helpful and responded in English to any questions. The mountain village is on many levels with footpaths linking them all up and so we had difficulty finding the house. It is best to take the top road when you arrive by car, unload everything, find a parking place in the first high piazza, and then walk down with heavy suitcases.

It was a wonderful experience, in a house that to say perfect is to say little: private parking, house well-stocked with everything, very clean, quiet, a great mattress, even the possibility of eating out thanks to a private terrace. All this is set in the context of the small town of Pitelli, a hamlet 8 km from La Spezia, which has an excellent supermarket, a pizzeria, an Arci club, a butcher shop and even a pharmacy! All within a 3-4 minute walk from the house. Enviable location, impeccable service from the host and attentive to our needs: we can't wait to go back!

Excellent stay at Perzetti! Our host Alessandra kindly agreed to welcome us before the official check-in time. She is a welcoming host and always very responsive in communication. The house is full of charm, very well-equipped and very comfortable. The small private terrace with mountain views is really nice. We also had a parking space in the property and access to the garden. The environment is very soothing and the house is quiet and relaxing. Thanks again to Alessandra for her hospitality!

Luca welcomed us at 12:30 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. He was very proactive. He gave us good advice. Very clean apartment, close to the train station and the city center but small balcony. a week without a car. we recommend

Casa marvellous! Everything very clean and tidy and the house is very well equipped! Gianni was a great host in every way! The house is very close to a subway station, so the locomotion was very quiet. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures! All wonderful. We highly recommend!

Federica and Francesco are the best host & hostess I ever met. When they learnt we don't have big luggage, they offer a ride from port to apartment, which is really considerate at a hot, humid noon. Also, they offered us a late check out as no immediate next guest. And for the apartment, it is comfortable and well equipped, basically you have everything you need. All in the apartment are organized, new and clean, a luxury that travellers can ever have. Definitely a must stay in La Spezia.

Gaylas place was so beautiful. It is set up in the hills and is quite the walk (we hitchhiked) but it is so so worth it! The house itself is spotless and stocked with the essentials, thank you Gayla. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody. Gayla is also a very responsive and helpful host. We hope to visit again in the future.

Lorella’s place is wonderful! It had all of the space and amenities that my husband. 2-year-old and I needed. It was larger than I expected with one bedroom, a living room, kitchen/eating area and a wrap-around balcony. Loved the walkability of Lavagna. The apartment is within a 10 minute walk of anything we needed. She had great recommendations for restaurants! Thank you Lorella!

Franc made us feel very welcome in this cosy Airbnb. It is easy walking distance to the train-station which is a real bonus in this area. You really feel the vibe of the location and is in a great position to do all the fantastic walks using the local C.T pass ticket. Franc was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. We would love to go back if possible. Wee note. - if using a mobile phone for communication during travelling you loose communication regularly with all the tunnels so best to make arrangements before you get on the train.

Excellent stay, they have two clean and tidy apartments, they provided us with a cot for the baby. Alessandro and his wife are 2 wonderful people, super hospitable together with their youngest daughter, they stopped to talk to us and give us advice on what to see in La Spezia, they offered us coffee, with them we felt at home in the family! They left us breakfast and something to eat in the fridge! We couldn't find a better place in the area! Some people may be bothered by the noise of motorcycles in the morning on the main street, but if you close the windows, you won't hear the loud noise. Great apartment in the heart of La Spezia! Easily walkable to everything — the train station, ferries, museums, restaurants and shops. The washer/dryer was essential in allowing us to pack light on our 2 week Italian adventure. If I’m ever lucky enough to be back in the area, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

David and Roberta are truly the best hosts! Their place is dreamy beautiful and they go out of their way to help you have the best experience. Whether it’s the delicious breakfast served each morning or doing your laundry, David and Roberta go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are genuinely so kind. Definitely recommend this location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Debora’s! The place was very spacious, clean and the garden (including cats and turtle!) felt peaceful. It was such a nice shift in scenery from our previous cramped stays. We had everything we needed, from laundry, a drying rack, a mini fridge, heated towel rack, skylight, and a selection of breakfast items prepared by Debora herself! She was able to accommodate a vegan and a meat-eater. She was super flexible on the timing of breakfast which helped us fuel up for a long hike in Cinque Terre. Debora was very communicative and helpful, even letting us know about the fireworks show in town. The location was easy to find. However, we ended up needing to walk/take a taxi to or from La Spezia Centrale later in the evening when buses stop running as frequently. Something to keep in mind if you plan on being out late and do not want to walk too far. Overall, a very lovely stay!

Gorgeous knock your eyes out views from this property! Close to Vernazza but if you are my age (mid-60’s) pay a porter to carry your bags up to the property!

We had a great time in Nadia's apartment, it is well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. Nadia was available and ready in the communication, providing us with useful information on the services and itineraries of the area. The apartment is in a favorable location for the excursions we wanted to do (Lerici, Tellaro, Sarzana but also walks on the inland trails). Recommended.

Really enjoyed staying at Giuliana's place. It was walking distance to the square and close to the harbor where you could hop on a ferry to visit neighboring islands and villages. There were lots of restaurants to choose from within the Lerici. Giulian was extremely helpful and responsive. Loved that she provided a light breakfast, coffee and juice in the morning. The wifi was also strong so I could do some work while I was staying at her place. I highly recommend Giuliana's place.

We have just returned home after staying with Robert at "Il Gallo" for five days. It has been a really wonderful stay in fantastically beautiful and cozy surroundings and we have been spoiled with a lovely breakfast, good advice on trips in the nearby area and the opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this very special place. We give both the place and the host our best recommendations.

We stayed two nights at Paola's B&B. Extremely pleasant experience, we found a welcoming, simple and familiar environment. Paola never made us miss anything and was always kind and helpful to satisfy our every need. Highly recommended
