This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

Connie hat uns super freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt, sowie Empfehlungen gegeben. Neben einem Wein und Begrüßungsschild bekamen wir einen leckeren Salatkopf aus ihrem Garten - lecker. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum und bestens geeignet zum entspannen, sonnen und tollen Frühstücks morgens! Die frischen Brötchen konnten wir von einem nahen gelegenen Bäcker+Supermarkt jeden Tag holen. Die Lage ist super für Tagestrips, wir haben in den 10 Tagen die ganze Insel kennengelernt. Danke Connie und Johnny! :-)

We stayed here for 9 nights as a couple and were absolutely thrilled. Communication was excellent, even before the booking – friendly, smooth, and very helpful, which gave us a great feeling right from the start. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with high-quality amenities – nothing was missing. A real highlight were the balconies and the stunning rooftop terrace – perfect for relaxing! We were also able to use the parking space after arranging it in advance, which was very convenient. Grocery stores and great restaurants are within walking distance – the location is ideal. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The apartment is beautiful and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Also in a great location for travelling to and from anywhere on the island. Easy to find (great little film showing the last bit of the route), parking right outside was straightforward. Jose provided lots of very useful information and recommendations and he checked in with me most days.....even if it was to warn me not to walk in the mountains (there had been a rough storm during my stay). All in all I would come and stay here again....both the island and at Jose's place.

If you are going to stay in Madeira , this is one of the nicest places you can stay in. The setting of this home is beautiful, and is located in a very pretty town with some great choices of restaurants and bars. The terrace has a stunning view and the kitchen space has everything you need for cooking should you want to do that. Bed is really comfy after days of exploring. We managed to park in the car park in the town every day - feels a hire car is a great asset in Madeira. Alessio is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home when you arrive.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und die Lage ist nahezu perfekt, um die gesamte Insel zu erkunden. Es gab jederzeit einen freundlichen und schnellen Kontakt, um bei Problemen zu helfen. Das eine Bett war etwas laut (quietschte bei jeder Bewegung), was aber aufgrund der zwei Zimmer kein großes Problem darstellte und die Inhaberin hat direkt geschrieben, dass Sie es im Nachgang direkt prüft. Die Ausstattung war aber wirklich hervorragend, daher beim nächsten Besuch von Madeira gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful stay here! The views are absolutely stunning – floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the ocean and hills, and we enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting every day. The place was also spotless when we arrived, which made us feel instantly at home. The location is ideal for exploring the western part of Madeira, which also happens to be the sunniest part of the island – we had consistent sunshine throughout our stay, even when other parts were cloudy. The place offers great value for money and was a perfect base for relaxing and adventuring alike. A couple of small downsides: the TV and kitchen appliances could use an upgrade, and the WiFi was down for a day during our stay – but Sandra was very responsive and got it sorted. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view is truly stunning and the apartment has a beautiful balcony that you can sit and relax on. Apartment is in a good location - close to shops, restaurants and bars plus easy transport routes into Funchal. The rooftop communal pool is an excellent feature and great for a morning swim to start the day. Apartment was clean and had all the amenities that we needed - we appreciated the welcome gifts that were left waiting for us on arrival. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Madeira.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für einen Urlaub auf Madeira. Sie ist sehr geräumig und es fehlt einem an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Very helpful hostess, quiet area away from busy Funchal. Amazing views, spacious apartment, super king size bed. Useful utility area with washing machine and drying area. Good cooking facilities. Enjoyed sitting on the balconies for breakfast and evening meals. Near bus stop and supermarket. We are fit 70yr olds so steep drive and stairs didn’t bother us.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen Parkplatz, atemberaubende Aussicht und in der Küche ist alles zu finden, was man zum kochen braucht. Ebenfalls sehr sauber - somit alles super und man bekommt, was die Bilder versprechen

Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Von der Lage her war es gut, dass wir einen Mietwagen hatten, um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir können die Wohnung ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen!

Die Aussicht auf Camarra de Lobos ist phänomenal und die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und war absolut sauber! Wir haben uns immer wohl gefühlt und Fernando hat uns immer mit aktuellen Ausflugtipps unterstützt. Die Lage ist ruhig, da die Wohnung abseits vom Ortskern an einem Hang liegt. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort gehen, sollte für den Rückweg aber etwas sportlich sein. Die Straße den Hang hoch ist steil, kurvig und zugeparkt, für Fahranfänger sicher herausfordernd. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist aber auch sehr nah.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Alles super! Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos. Die Lage ist optimal. Von dort aus kommt man über all gut hin und es gibt über die Straße direkt ein Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt. Danke !

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

à notre arrivée nous avons été très bien accueilli par Ana. Elle nous a tout expliqué et nous avons même pu arriver un peu en avance dans l'appartement. Elle nous a donné des conseils de visite, de restaurant, et aussi elle nous a indiqué le supermarché le plus proche. Ana a été au top !!! L'appartement est parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut même encore plus que ce qu'on avait imaginé. Merci pour tout! Nous avons pu profiter à fond de cette île magnifique . Et Gabriel a passer quasiment toute ses soirées dans la piscine 😄 merci encore de notre part à tous les 3

Nice apartment to stay for a long holiday with beautiful views of Praira Formosa. Infinity pool, ample space, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free parking in the apartment's garage. The location was perfect being just outside of Funchal with easy access to ER 101. The apartment sits up on the hill with a short walk to the promenade; you can walk either towards Camara de Lobos or Funchal. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and on Estrada Monumental. There is a supermarket (Continente) just 2-3 blocks down the street from the apartment. The local host met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was clean and comfortable coming home after a day of hiking (purchase trail tickets 3E on Simplifica for all the PR# trails). A car is a must if you are going to hike and see Maderia. No Jacuzzi and gym is old and poorly equipped.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!
