From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Über schöne Wanderwege kommt man zu Schloss Aschach. Die schöne Rhön lädt zu diversen Unternehmungen ein. Hier z. B. Wasserkuppe mit Sommerrodelbahn, Kreuzberg usw. On approx. 60 square meters, there are two separate bedrooms (each with double beds), a living room, kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower/toilet. A wooden staircase leads to the apartment. The front porch also invites you to linger. Since the basement is only used as a utility room, you will live in the house all by yourself - without being disturbed by other vacation guests in the same house.

Our aim is to welcome guests with a dog as well as the ones without into a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The appartment is at the edge of Oberelsbach - ideally for hikes. Basic shopping is possible and there is a nice café, a gas station and a pharmacy. Hiking and Cycling trails start directly from the house. But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.
