Cute place for one, great location. Self check-in is convenient. Don't forget to put the key back in the lock box. I didn't realize it was shared. I appreciated the down comforter or what felt like a cozy down comforter.

My first time using airbnb, and I was surprised how easy and simple the whole process was. The host had very simple instructions, the place was exactly how it was described, and she was very nice and responsive to any questions I had. Overall, the experience was excellent!

This was our second booking. Very affordable Wausau option. The host is very communicative also, thanks!

i'm a travel worker so it's nice to have a private place that also has functioning kitchen and private bathroom for that price in the area. would stay again.

The cabin was neat and tidy! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the lake. Heard loons each morning and night, saw an eagle and the water was crystal clear. Would love to come here again.

The loft was very clean and nice, I have always loved the Boulder junction area, it's cool that they have saved some things from Aqualand, I remember going there as a kid , so fun !!

Another great stay at one of Jeff's places. We stay here everytime we're in town and are EXTREMELY disappointed if it's booked.

Great place! It’s small but was perfect for my husband and I. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well kept. How wonderful kayaks were available to use. We enjoyed using them on this beautiful lake. The lake is so crystal clear. And location was perfect. We were able to get around so easily. We only stayed 3 nights. We definitely will be back and will stay longer.

nice place to stay while visiting the Tomahawk area

Had to be in town for a few days of appointments. It's quite a drive for us, so I decided to book an AirBNB. I booked Kathleens place after learning that my go to BNB was occupied during the time that we needed. Kathleens place will just have to go on my list of BNB options in the area. The place was more than I even expected... I don't think the listing does the space justice. I will admit that if you are after brand new, squeaky clean, sterile conditions this might not be the place for you. It was absolutely clean in every way that mattered but had a vintage cabin charm that you just cannot get with "sterile" We felt right at home, and I would not have it any other way. I was able to DoorDash some groceries and make pancakes in the morning! I forgot a couple things but found that the things I needed had already been left in the kitchen. What hotel could we have done that at? Kathleens place is a great example of what I love about AirBNB. Would recommend this stay to anyone.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

My uncle and I had a great time and just what we needed. Thanks again for the memories.

I was in Wausau to visit family and the space was the perfect size for what I needed. It was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. Holly checked in with to make sure I had what I needed amd was very responsive.

My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

I splurged and am happy I did. I'll quite possibly return here. It should be noted their are a lot of stairs and the bedroom loft has a steep staircase. This could be challenging for any mobility issues. That said I loved the place and it is really well built and a lot of attention to detail, everything you need and none of what you don't. Smartly appointed.

Beautiful lake front area with the wonderful Marty’s Place North supper club literally in the front yard! Fantastic and amazing views. Perfectly placed so you get the out in the middle of nowhere feel while still being close to downtown Minocqua and truly get the best of both worlds. Perfect for small groups (mainly 1, maybe 2 couples). Was perfect. Hosts are incredibly helpful and responsive. Thank you so much Mark & Wendy we had a lovely stay!

A very beautiful place to stay in and Fred the host was very nice and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone. Will definitely go back again.
