Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

Small but cozy apartment like setting. Fresh modern updates give you the outdoors feel that Northern WI provides, as well as the modern feel that many enjoy. The living room provides you with a comfortable couch to relax, with a lake view. A full sized deck to relax on. One bedroom provides you with the typical bed/dresser setup for a great night of sleep. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Located on the Jersey Flowage (Tomahawk River) Just mins from Downtown Tomahawk, Lake Nokomis, and Lake Mohawksin, across the street from Halfmoon Lake. All utilities are included in your rental price, even Wi-Fi. King’s Cottage is located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the perfect place for outdoor adventures any time of the year. Hikers and bikers can enjoy routes like the Bearskin Trail. Kayakers and canoers can explore nearby lakes and waterways. Guests can explore Oneida County’s vast lakes and winter enthusiasts will find easy access to great trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The cottage is located on 235 acres with two spring-fed lakes.
