The historic half-timbered house from 1867 is located near the Geierlay suspension rope bridge in the beautiful Hunsrück town of Buch. It has been stylishly renovated and furnished according to our ideas of vacation and recreation. During the renovation, emphasis was placed on traditional craftsmanship and the use of contemporary materials from around the turn of the century. Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

We have converted our house Bennasch, which is the house name of the former farmhouse, into a vacation home for groups, family celebrations, cooking classes (2 kitchens with gas stoves), conferences, etc. The furnishings are modern and comfortable - we have placed special emphasis on the lighting. The large garden with its furnished terraces and outdoor kitchen faces southwest and is flooded with sun. The vacation home is classified by the German Tourism Association (DTV) with 5 stars.
