Perfect combo of camping & cabin life. PETS ALLOWED, prior approval needed. Fee of $25 per day/per pet. Fee is collected upon check in. Owner, dogs & cats lives on property.

The Black River Cozy Cabin is perfect for family vacations or a romantic get-away. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

The Black River Getaway was built in 2011 and will comfortably sleep six. There are two sleeping areas (private bedroom and a loft). Located less than two hours south of St. Louis, MO. Perfect for getting away from it all and spend some quality time in the outdoors. The cabin has breathtaking views and is located in a serene environment; a private pond steps from the front door, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and two docks. Merle Haggard Cabin, a quiet place to stay

We are an equine campground facility, with 3 , 3 bedroom cabins available to rent at certain times. We also have some smaller one room cabins available, that sleep 2-4 people. We are 16 miles from the Black River in Lesterville Missouri and 16 Miles from the Johnson Shut-Ins, and 30 miles from Elephant Rocks State Park. We have horse back riding available, riders must be at least 7 years old to ride. There is wi-fi available around the Lodge for our guest to use.
